Ray quickly turned his head to read the messages, then picked his phone up to reply.

[text: Kristi] Good to know

[text: Kristi] well technically it's a work related consult anyway, but also y'know, related to the mutual acquaintance. So yeah i'm free.

He rolled his eyes at himself. Rambling, even in text?

It was a bit of an odd situation and he wasn't sure how to handle it.

He was busy looking through a report when he heard Kristi, not that it did him mich good, he wasn't medically trained and wasn't that strong on the science end either.

He glanced at the sleeping patient before quietly getting up and opening the door.

"Yeah, I'm here," he said, stepping aside to ket her in. "And this is our uh- well apparently he knows us both?" Ray added, gesturing to the sleeping priest.

“You’re joking, right?” The look Ray got in response was answer enough. “Ah right. Sorry mate- er, Father. So this friend of yours is a scientist? Named Kristi?”

Owen nodded. 

“Do you have a contact number for her?” Ray asked curiously. Surely it couldn’t just be a coincidence. 

The priest reached for his phone on the bedside table and, after taking a painfully long time to try and actually view the contact number, Ray went over to help. Sure enough, it was the same number he had his own friend Kristi under.

 The SHIELD agent quickly finished up the conversation, then excused himself. Once he was out of the room, Ray pulled out his own phone to quickly send a message.

[text: Kristi] Hey, I learned something today! We apparently share a contact from outside of work. Is it technically a breach of confidentiality then if I share info? 

He hesitated on actually adding the name in straight away considering his question to Kristi. After a moment, he quickly sent another message to make up for the lack of info.

In typical SHIELD fashion, Ray sent Kristi map coordinates that would direct her to the specific room in medical. He wasn’t technically telling her anything then besides his own location. Unless of course someone worked out the hands emoji was a hint.

"I could go the obvious route and say God here. But if you're expecting an answer involving a physical person... I am a bit wary of that red-headed woman that Mister Ueda works with. She doesn't seem to quite grasp the seriousness of some topics she raises and is a bit hot-headed. I wouldn't say I'm exactly afraid of her, but of the damage she could cause without even being aware of it."

"Well I feel one of those people is Agent Ellis, the one Hartell works under. He often seems in a standoff-ish mood when I am training with Hartell and the others, especially after he realised my light banishes his shadows so effectively."

"That man...the one who had the gun in the church. Sorry, I have his card somewhere, but I forgot his name. He reminded me why it's so important to show compassion and help even those who seem bad. Many of them can still change and be redeemed, if you give them the chance."

"Ah well that would be Mister Ueda. He- Shigeru is a good friend but he is also frustrating. I know he still isn't fluent with English, but I do wish he would say what he means sometimes and stop being so... so vague."

Ahahaha. Yes. Not recently, but yes. The main reasons being for not shipping a thing, or because they have jealousy towards another main being 'favoured'.

Yes, actually i kind of did revive two ocs recently in a thing I wrote. I'm hesitant to revive canons when i barely watch the media said old canon muses are from.

The ocs i recently brought back are a Mutant who absorbs and discharges energy and a guy who can use drawings of runes/symbols etc to create 'spells'.

Saint Columba was born in Ireland of royal descent. He studied for the priesthood under many prominent churchmen, including St. Finnian, eventually becoming abbot. In 563, he sailed to Scotland evangelizing the pagans and establishing monasteries, including the abbey on Iona. Saint Columba is considered one of Irelands 12 Apostles loved by both the Irish and Scots.
