I've always wondered wtf happens to past takemichy when future!takemichy arrives. Like we know future!takemichy just goes into a coma-like state so past michy doesn't swap body's with him.

I would've loved to see the body swap part just for past takemichy to be chocked at all the things in 2017 and how naoto would react

Yes!!!!! Ah a body swap would've been so funny though, like poor past Takemichi who has no idea what's going on keeps waking up in the future (he probably thinks it's a dream and Naoto doesn't correct him because he's worried this Takemichi could mess things up). Naoto just having to babysit him to try and keep him out of trouble. (Takemichi is just a trouble magnet so he keeps getting into it).

The angst potential alone haunts me. How long do you think he waited for Ford?? When did it start to sink in that nobody was coming to save him, that nobody would miss him? Would anybody even want him back? How long did it take for his anger, his heartbreak, his grief to turn into acceptance and a belief that this was divine retribution? How long did he work, how many jobs did he take, how much wealth did he accrue, how many brushes with death did he have until he believed he’d “earned” the right to go home and see his brother?? Many such questions. I need to go deeper
