Twst EN just got the milk culinary crucible, which means at the same time Malleus is showing off, the entirety of the EN players are learning Leona doesn't know how to use a microwave. The timing really just makes it feel like Malleus is flexing on Leona XD

it's in Mal's card story rather than in the event proper, but yep! after teaching his tsum proper microwave usage, he takes it on a tour and very proudly shows off his extensive knowledge of household appliances. (except when he thinks his tsum fell into the washing machine and doesn't know how to unlock the lid, so he just. explodes it instead. hashtag just diasomnia things. 🤷)

I do think he and Leona should get into a fight about who has done a better job of learning how to use kitchen tools! Leona has the advantage of having grown up in the modern world, but Malleus has the motivation to actually do literally anything. who will win

Y’all real for this and I’ll add on. I don’t usually like to say my opinion on this online just because it’s negative and I don’t want to be that person, but oh well.

I always see these Marauders Stans say things like, “Snape fans don’t realize he did anything wrong,” but that on its own is… Very incorrect.

As a fandom, I always see people acknowledging his wrongdoings. He did wrong, and Snape fans know this. Yet, Marauder Stans like to believe we think he was an angel, but no one has ever said that?

Also, the entirety of the Marauder fandom is not canon, as there is very little information about them in the books/movies. But to take these, essentially, made up characters, and compare them to a canon character is just wrong.

Anyway, I feel like Marauder Stans only like them for their aesthetic and the fancast. And I wouldn’t have a problem if they didn’t interfere with the Snape fandom by always bombarding our comments with “Stan James Potter”

I had the urge to write this cuz I just saw a edit about how Remus is better because he doesn't traumatize children and the fact that Neville's boggart is Snape.

Like, I feel bad for Neville, but glorifying a person who, in maximum, bullied someone too, in minimum was just a bystander, is worse.

Don't get me wrong, my favourite Maurader is Remus all the way, but I don't put him on a pedestal.

I like Snape too, but I don't justify his bullying of children. In fact, I dislike that part of him

I've been meeting more and more 21-24 year old trans people and so many of them are just so... childish?? They still act like teenagers. And at first I was judgemental of them. I do not respect that they are grown adults that continue acting this way.

But I've also learned that a lot of them started transitioning at 14, 15, 16, etc. So fucking young. Indoctrinated and put on this horrific medical malpractice train that they just can't get off of. There's a really disturbing lack of self-reflection that baffled me until I realized that transition has basically stunted them.

This applies more for the ~everyone is valid uwu~ crowd than the transmedicalists, who usually want to just move on with their lives. But these people are stuck in this ideological bubble where they cut out anyone who disagrees with them. They reject anything that makes them feel uncomfortable, that threatens their perception of their gender, which is so fragile that it can't be held under scrutiny. And they know it. It's why the act the way they do. Allowing their views about gender and the world at large to develop would also mean leaving behind their zealotry. They cannot do this because of how invested, physically and socially, they have become in this ideology. Leaving it behind would mean loss of friends, loss of ego, maybe even a full detransition. It would mean death.

despite being more often than not a "rules as written" fan over "rule of cool", i really do love me a good "rules be damned, i'll give you this awesome moment" call. like matt giving fcg the otohan kill despite what her hp was at or brennan giving cerrit an extra mage slayer reaction attack at the end of calamity. honestly, if anything, i think the fact they mostly play by the book makes these moments even better because it really has that extra weight towards those decisions to put the rules aside.

FROM as a show is so special because it's one of those rare instances where the most disliked character that the fandom finds to be annoying for any and all reasons... is a white man. Instead of doing the usual thing where the most hated character is a woman who is over-hated for even the most minor misstep (with the underlying real reason being misogyny). And I just think that's so beautiful, so thank you Jim for being mildy but consistently irritating. The world is healing ❤️
