despite being more often than not a "rules as written" fan over "rule of cool", i really do love me a good "rules be damned, i'll give you this awesome moment" call. like matt giving fcg the otohan kill despite what her hp was at or brennan giving cerrit an extra mage slayer reaction attack at the end of calamity. honestly, if anything, i think the fact they mostly play by the book makes these moments even better because it really has that extra weight towards those decisions to put the rules aside.

feel like people keep forgetting the sibling aspect of shivs decision and of the kenshiv fight. that wasnt just shiv dealing with the situation at hand that was years of kendall being her brother and her being kendalls sister culminating into one moment. it Is the idea that she fucking earned this and kendall just gets it handed to him. its the idea of 'you can't be ceo because you killed somebody’ because that wasn't shiv being morally upset about kendall killing someone, that was shiv thinking 'how the fuck did you fuck up so bad and you Still get to win' esp in light of everything else her brothers have done. connor and his embarrassing run at presidenancy roman with the dick pics and kendall who Literally Killed Someone. and shes still in last place, despite everything she has and hasn’t done

Lover Fight (Or Not)

Danny didn't know why he was in Gotham. Honestly, Clockwork just pointed him the way to see something "interesting" that would help him to "calm down", so he had no further clues as to what was going to happen next.

He continued to fly over the city without a care, until he saw one of his biggest nightmares walking. A fucking clown. The halfa scrunched up his face before realizing that the clown had a weapon? What the fuck Clockwork? Incredulous, Danny continued to follow the clown.

A man in a red helmet and a woman with a large hammer seemed to be waiting for him in the middle of the street. The halfa raised an eyebrow doubtfully, before he could wonder what was happening, the woman tried to smash the clown with the hammer saying that her "darling" had betrayed her. Maybe it was a lovers' quarrel?

Still curious, Danny approached the man in the red helmet and after becoming visible he asked him if he was dating the clown too. The man had an extreme reaction and yelled something similar to "What the fuck? He killed me!"

That didn't answer Danny's question, of course, both his parents and most of his ex's had wanted to kill him. But maybe his scale was just broken. He asked the boy in the red helmet if he needed help.

Jason, still confused by the situation, agreed. A few seconds later (after Harley managed to hit him with her hammer, apparently) the Joker had turned into a block of ice. Jason stared in disbelief at the boy next to him, who had a mischievous smile on his face.

Danny really hated clowns.

Godzilla Minus One's ending was absolutely perfect. People hate on it because it takes away the 'message' of the movie, but I think the opposite.

Kamikaze pilots were sent on literal suicide missions for nothing. However, Koichi came back, and at the end, reunited with the love of his life,

Like a soldier coming home from war.

The movie was perfect, the ending was perfect, Koichi's story was perfect, and I hope him, Noriko, and Akiko will live a happy life in a possible sequel.

(Until Noriko turns into Biollante, of course)

The mirror scene truly was so perfect. Kind and loving and intimate, sweet and so very Polin. A bit awkward as first times often are but you could clearly tell how much they care and love and want each other.

I also loved the use of POV by Ariana Grande which is all about being vulnerable with the person you love and being seen in your entirety and loved despite your imperfections and learning to love yourself through someone else loving you purely for who you are.
