Something so important to me about Kabru is the way so many of his experiences with humans parallel Laios', and yet they ended up with exact opposite feelings about them. Laios loves monsters, Kabru hates them. Laios wished he was a monster (so he wouldn't have to deal with people who hated him), Kabru grew up believing he already was one (his father being an incubus would explain why people hated him). Laios is aware that people tend not to like him, so he's given up on trying to endear himself to them. Kabru is aware he doesn't fit in anywhere he goes, and is desperate to trick people into thinking otherwise. When Laios was a kid he would fantasise about the exact type of event that ruined Kabru's life.

Laios loves monsters, and he excells at killing them. Kabru is exactly the same for people, despite having every opportunity to choose to hate them instead.

And he says something about him being a good kid, that he’s talented, and then ends with something that directly aligns with what the daughter likes?

Yes. That’s concept, but it’s dinner with Spock and his parents. And Sarek is under the impression that Spock is with Kirk (not wrong), and is trying to convince him that the doctor is a better option(wrong, because he’s also dating McCoy)

last night i was thinkin and realized how many characters came with Eddie for his storyline and like, for comparison:

In s2: Murray comes by himself, he's just added to Nancy and Jonathan's story

Max and Billy bring their parents who are never active in the main plot

In s3: Robin comes by herself and is added to Steve's storyline. Alexei and most of the other Russians added to Joyce and Hopper's.

But in s4 Eddie is added for his own storyline and comes with: his uncle, Chrissy, Jason and his goons, and the Hellfire Club/Corroded Coffin bringing his total to at least half a dozen named characters all added for the sake of pushing his story along

The title of ghost king can only be passed through combat. I’ve seen fic prompts and art where defeating Danny in board games or video games or like a stupid bet count as trial by combat.

I’m proposing a crack fic where Danny and all of his friends are constantly trading places as The Ghost King, at first on accident, but then intentionally as they all find increasingly stupid ways to one-up each other.

finally finished some full body references for my shep!! her casual uniform, casual everyday outfit, and citadel formal outfit!

her name is anjali! she's a vanguard who likes using her biotics to make enemies easy targets for her rifle.

she's a colony kid with the war hero background. as a result she is a bit of a "i owe my life to the alliance" workaholic with few friends, an unhealthy reliance on regulations (spends her days burying her feelings for kaidan and ignoring them until me2 and me3 hit her like a truck), and a really intimidating reputation.

she starts off as a no nonsense paragon. buuuuut, doesn't cope too well with the whole "dying" thing and starts to slip into the renegade side of things - before getting professional help (and becoming a bit more of a forthright paragon) upon returning to the alliance.

she's honestly a bit of a defrosting ice queen with a heart of gold. starts off on awful terms with miranda (something something, you remind me of the worst parts of myself) but they wind up super close friends. glad i finally have these refs for her LMAO

I find it so funny when the dragon riders get competitive (especially in the TV shows) and think they can beat Hiccup at anything when it comes to dragons

like dude. Come on. He literally discovered the techniques they use. He's been riding and handling dragons the longest out of anyone. Hell he taught EVERYONE how to do it in the first place. He is a master of his craft.

I just need every single person in this fandom who has ever been mean about Luke Newton to know that Nicola Coughlan hates you. Genuinely and wholeheartedly.

She hates you. Sure, she won't say it aloud, because she's a professional who knows her career lives or dies by fans, but please know that she does. She hates you if you've said Colin gave you the ick, especially so if you said it to Luke, she hates you if you've left a rude comment on his social media, she hates you if you acted like she didn't like him or that she was shading him, she hates you if you bullied the people around him, she hates you if you said something disparaging about how he looks or how he acts, she. hates. you.

And sure, it's not all people who are in her or Pen's fanbase, in fact a lot of people have been cruel about him outside of the Polin fandom, but a LOT of people are Pen fans, and hearing her talking about how defensive she gets over him when people say something rude about him? And knowing there are SO many stupid opinion blogs and youtubers and tiktokers who say they're Pen fans and Nicola fans but are mean as fuck about Luke?

I need every single one of them, in particular those who have been out here making up stupid shit to be mad at him about 'on her behalf' to know that when you say something mean about the man she gushed to her Mum about, and who her Mum was so excited to meet because she just knew he was kind, the man she introduced to her entire family, the man she is always reaching for and hugging and snuggling up to and calling wonderful and giggling around and saying how she wouldn't want to do such vulnerable intimate scenes without and complimenting and leaning on and having fun with and calling a special person in her life, she is taking off her earrings and ready to meet you outside in his honor

because she hates you for being a dick about him. hope that clears things up

So I finished The Eye of The World (Wheel of Time #1). (spoilers in art form below)

and Good News I managed to keep my mind off of Stormlight Archive during a very busy week or two where I had to Not Think about the Big Interests but bad news I may need to find The Great Hunt. More art will likely occur. I have several more ideas for sketches (mostly vine references) and one Big Drawing idea.
