and to answer your question, puddle is probably creepy or wet fluffy or liquid based on her mood. if she likes you she has the consistency of, say, warm milk.

silly little headcanon:

witch and thorn can liquefy themselves. explanation: because cats are liquid.

they didn't really know it was possible but after thorn spends some time chilling in the construct, she sees a large-enough box somewhere and gets excited and randomly starts squeezing in there

opportunist, her best-frenemy just hanging out, is utterly baffled

and even moreso when she just. does the if-it-fits-it-sits. she proudly sits there in soup form with a few vines sticking out.

opportunist has to call the emergency cleanup crew of paranoid and prisoner to deal with this new puddle of thorn

side note: beast and den can do it too but much more readily

“You’re supposed to slay the Princess” what if I color her in like a coloring page. Huh. What then

I did NOT feel like coloring Beast because the only picture I had of her was. Not good. Buuuuut I’m having fun so I may very well continue to color the Princesses

A few teeny notes:

My original plan for Witch and Thorn was to make Witch’s hair bright red and Thorn’s hair a bit browner, but I put in darker streaks for Witch’s hair and suddenly I had the idea to do something similar- but, of course, different- for Thorn. I really enjoy how that turned out, that and their dresses

Apotheosis is probably going to be the only instance where the Long Quiet isn’t black and white, because, yknow, radiant light and shit. I was aiming for a sort of water color-y vibe with her… not sure if I hit the mark but I like the result anyway!

I kind of knew I’d give Wild a bunch of warm, gentle pinks and browns, but I wanted to keep the exposed insides mostly untouched (although looking back, I could’ve also made the insides brown to match her arms). I think she turned out beautiful, my wonderful Princess with a disorder <3
