This is really not directed at anyone in particular, but as someone who goes out of my way to represent disabled characters, I'm genuinely confused at just how much Maedhros art I see where his right arm is somehow hidden from sight.

I don't mean prosthetics obviously (I don't personally headcanon that he wears one but I've seen some cool designs! that's great!) or even like a glove over a prosthetic (I'm not a fan when it masks his disability but it's fine) but like. Hidden by a cloak. Out of the frame. Behind his back for some reason. Conveniently just behind some random prop. (also, more than occasionally, just erasing it entirely and giving him a hand in context where it definitely shouldn't be there). Sure, it's not unrealistic, Himring is cold and residual limbs tend to really feel the cold, all that but that's also not the point I'm making 😬

I put his hand out of the frame once on purpose because it was set before his amputation and it didn't feel right to draw him with the hand 😅

So the new year is coming and I’m well I don’t know how to feel about it. I’m not going to have any high hopes for the next year cause there’s no point I’ll be lucky enough of I’ll finally move out of my parents house and live another year with how everything is going around the world… I’ll be even more grateful if my anxiety would kindly take a back seat and allow me to live my life without giving me bad thoughts to make me depressed and not be able to write.

So yeah not going to have any expectations for the next year

I am grateful for this year a bit. I met some wonderful friends thanks to the puss in boots fandom @edwardpinestar @swanpit @friku8706 I got more confident in the warriors cat fandom @theoriginalkittypet and I think even though no matter how many times i get set back on my own warriors rewrite i have found many wonderful friends who help me and give me ideas @doritopaw101 @spotty-is-slumberous @strelles-universe @aerial-jace @fallingstarsau

And speaking of puss in boots, my fanfic puss in boots and the city of immortals has reached its 600 kudo and will be having its one year anniversary on January 26. We did it @twilightna and im glad to have you and Pinestar helping me with this fic! I’m pretty excited about that! It makes me happy that a non bnha fic that I written has so much love to it. I know I have taken a whole step back from my hero academia and I’m sorry about that I just… want to be known for my other fics as well and it’s gets tiring after writing in a fandom for four years of the same thing

Anyway, I think I spoke enough. Even though I don’t have high expectations let’s hope for… at least some good things, pray for those who don’t… and just… I guess wish for things to be better… that’s all we can do….

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

People against piracy fail to realize that no, I can’t just ‘buy it.’ They stopped making DVDs and Blu-Rays. They’re barely offering digital copies for download. I am not spending money I could use for food or bills to pay for a subscription service just so I can always have access to a beloved piece of media. Especially not when the service will remove media on a whim without concern for how the loss of access to that piece will make its artistic conservation nigh impossible.

For example, I recently learned that Disney+ had an original film called Crater. It’s scifi, family friendly, and seems cool - I would love to buy it as a holiday gift for my little brother! But: it’s exclusive to D+ and THEY REMOVED IT LITERALLY MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.

The ONLY way I can directly access this film is through piracy. The ONLY available ‘copies’ of this film are hosted on piracy websites. Disney will NEVER release it in theaters, or as something to buy, and it may NEVER return to the streaming service. It will be LOST because we aren’t allowed to purchase it for personal viewing. If I can’t pay to own it, I won’t pay for the privilege of losing it when corporate decides to put it in a vault.

So yes, I’m going to pirate and support piracy.

had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. well now you can! i gathered all the questions we came up with into a pair of google forms so that you guys can try your hand at the same trivia questions the CCs did!

we tried to have a good amount of questions for every player and season. we also tried to include only questions we thought at least one person would remember the answer to, especially things we'd seen them bring up recently in their own videos or streams, or big moments that would appear in fanart/animatics that we thought they'd be more likely to remember from seeing in those. we also aimed to include silly questions/answers, or questions/answers we thought people would find entertaining. we wanted players to be able to go to each other and ask each other for help on questions they didnt know the answer to!

but wait! there's more! we also have a form for all the questions which didn't make the cut!

rejected questions

the rejected questions didn't make it due to either being too difficult/niche or being something we did not think any creators would remember, being about a player we already had too many questions for in order to make room for questions about other players, being "stat" or number questions (i.e., "how many times did X die of Y cause?"), having too many names involved in the question or answer (making it hard for players to know who to ask for help), the questions just being wordy, or not being particularly entertaining. fair warning, the rejected questions also were not all fact checked as well as the actual episode questions were, as they didn't go into the actual session

originally our questions were a bit more difficult (we had a lot of questions we didn't necessarily think anyone would remember the answer to), but we were asked to tone it down and have mercy after the unexpectedly high amount of snail carnage (hence why the forms are jokingly names "easy version" and "hard version")
