During yesterday’s Iranian drone and missile attack against Israel, Israel deployed its F-15 Eagles in order to intercept Iranian kamikaze drones, which were armed with AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles, old weapon systems that were nevertheless used as they proved more cost effective than modern ones.

This morning the Israeli "Air Force One" plane known as "Zion Wing" is taking it's first official flight abroad with Bibi Netanyahu on it, journalists and some family members of hostages. They are heading to Washington to meet with Biden, Harris and Trump.

If you’re seeing Aaron Bushnell’s bravery and helplessness in the face of horror in Gaza & thinking you should follow, I hope you realize we need you here with us. We celebrate him but we are also deeply hurt and mourning. I wish we got to know him. To organize with him. And you.

I’ve seen generational impacts of one human organizing, I’ve seen things shift, lives saved, bonds built from just a person using their turmoil, empathy, bravery to join our movements. Aaron is a hero in my eyes but so is everyone on the streets, pushing at work, taking risks.

Life is precious and beautiful and powerful. And if you can choose it, if you’re not forced to end it for whatever valid reasons, I would really celebrate you sticking around. Every day. We need everybody.

An active duty US Air Force member set themselves on fire outside the embassy. He introduced himself as an active duty member of the US Air Force, and said that he would, "no longer be complicit in genocide" and then set himself on fire. He said "Free Palestine" while he was ON FIRE.
