Tomorrow is November 5th, AKA voting day in the U.S., please for the love of God vote for Kamala Harris. If you haven't voted early, vote for Kamala. I don't give a fuck if you think both candidates suck. We aren't at the point of no return yet.

I don't make political posts but one of my coworkers said she isn't even voting and the other is so fucking uninformed and oblivious that she considered voting for Trump.

I'm scared that Kamala will lose because of how many people may not even see the point anymore. Or because people haven't actually paid attention and are just flipping a fucking coin.

Not to be harsh, but fuck your beliefs. Yes, there is a lot of misinformation and fear mongering, but there are also real events. Horrors are already happening in some states. People are at risk of losing their rights. If you care at all about other people, just vote for Kamala.

I don't know how much she will follow through, but at least we have a chance.

GEOFFREY: Personally, I think Mike is extremely talented and his McGear allbum was brilliant. I always look on that LP like a Wings album.

DENNY: Yes. Well, we all played on it. Paul was very much the main man there, the producer.

GEOFFREY: I don't quite understand why it didn't do anything.

DENNY: I know. That's always upset me as well. Let's put it this way: if Paul had pushed that like he did his own albums, it would have been big, and it deserved to be. Frankly, I was a little bit disappointed that Paul didn't get behind that. I think he mainly left it to Mike. We all know that Mike hasn't got his kind of money and couldn't have promoted it properly.

GEOFFREY: It's funny how he never drew Mike into the family business.

DENNY: Mike might not have wanted to, you know. There's that brotherly rivalry there.

How to conveniently solve the problems of Rusty being environmentally unfriendly and anachronistically young (in the most German way possible): make him a fireless steam engine.

Fill them up with water and steam from an outside source and they can putter around for about the length of a factory shift. Infamously used waaaay past the end of other steam engines in Germany (built well into the 80s, still occasionally used even today) , since they have niche use in power plants and other industrial facilities where flammability/exhaust is a concern and excess steam is a convenient power source. Wins the race via shortcut through an abandoned coal mine/dynamite factory/etc where anyone else would blow it up, ft. however much cartoonish mine train roller coaster action you want.

It looks like a handful of countries have even actively restored/converted these semi-recently for revenue industrial service as an alternative to battery engines. They’re not a wide-scale solution, but they’re a funny niche case of something ridiculously antiquated being surprisingly green.
