Just as a reminder to those hyped about side order, this is Nintendo’s official opinion of Agent 4 from the Splatoon website:

People I know keep saying she’s not as impressive as Three or Eight and like?? Just because she did the same thing as Three makes it no less impressive you ding dongs. No matter what your hopes for side order are, don’t expect Four to be some damsel in distress or anything similar. Remember what the contents of the Splatoon 2 campaign were. Remember that Four is not a member of the New Squidbeak Splatoon because “someone has to be Agent 4!!!” Because I can almost guarantee the devs haven’t forgotten. I say with complete confidence that their definition of Four being “pushover” is a red herring. She’s going to kick our ass on February 22nd.

Basic notes

their bio name is Judith but started going by Judas after their family was killed for anonymity reasons? ( tbh they weren't very smart with it bc both names have the first 3 letters but you get the idea ). They're mainly referred to as Judas by their cult and " Judy " by Naenia/Their Narinder ( quick note some info on that is most likely outdated )

actually has a decent/positive relationship with Naenia ( granted it wasnt like that at first especially because they were planning to betray Naenia after slaying the bishops but at the end they couldn't bring themselves to kill her so they spared her )

less hung up abt being a cult leader compared to Solange but prefers to use " Herd " instead of cult ( sounds better to them personally )

speaking of their cult during vesselhood it was kind of a shitshow due to them not knowing how to properly keep the faith up so there were a shit ton of dissenters ( didn't help that they were pretty aggressive to their followers too. ) postgame They got the hang of running their cult/herd and is less aggressive to their followers ( it helps that Naenia is sort of the secondary leader in a way )

They train their followers to fight so returning to missionaries alive is greatly increased

as i mentioned before in Solange's universe ( which i'll dub the lambverse ) Judith/Judas also existed and was close with Solange but ended up getting killed by heretics sometime before Solange's execution ( stabbed multiple time in the stomach )

on the flipside in Judas' universe the Solange there was also close to them and unfortunately got killed by heretics(?) sometime before Judas' death ( throat was slit )

as a result Judas (Goatverse) and Solange (Lambverse) had an instant connection and bonded fast.

there is angst related to the fact that they aren't exactly the same as their alternate universe counteparts ( the ones that died )

Judas often hangs around Solange's cult and helps her with training her followers to fight

I think the "gummygoo remembers" theory is absolutely copium and I am going to die

This frame gets referenced a lot as evidence that he must remember because hes reaching out to her, but this is right after she just fucking crawled up to him and name-droped him as if she knows him when from his perspective he has never introduced himself to her and never met her before today.

This right here is the exact frame where Pomni realizes that he doesnt remember, but that she is about to push him into another existential crisis. Her actions, saying his name when she shouldnt know it, saying right in front of him that none of this is real, can and WILL cause him the same suffering shes seen him struggle with once. She doesnt want to hurt him, she doesnt want to hurt anyone but especially not him.

So she just puts on a smile and wishes him a pleasant day. She is letting him live in blissful ignorance to the reality of his existance because she knows she cant change it or make it better for him, telling him the truth would only hurt him.

As for why she glances back, I am not entirely sure. Maybe she's glancing back at Ragatha, another real human person, remembering that she said that caine might reuse Gummygoo, That she had recognized orbsman from a previous adventure.

Maybe shes realizing that she'll get to see Gummygoo again, and that he'll be just as ignorant every single time.

Hey there Anon, my favorite ship morphs and changes a lot, but right now it's Entrapta/Catra!

Genuinely love the ways these two can help each other and the ways that they would hurt one another, intentional or not. Whether they are a QPR, friends with benefits, romantic- whatever form I am just digging them a lot :D
