My neurodivergent love language is infodumping, and I love seeing everyone on this app sharing their hyperfixations in the form of gifs, memes, and fanfics. Some characters in the criminal minds fandom I don’t even pay that much attention to, but am I going to giggle and kick my feet like a schoolgirl if you post a Drabble about them? Abso-fuckin-lutely.

I admittedly got into RDR2 five years late and I remember being confused seeing older comments of fans completely dogpiling on Mary Linton (née Gillis - a character who I interpreted much differently than these users did), but assumed maybe people would have grown up a bit since then and understand Mary better. Unfortunately, I still see so many people completely misunderstand and shit on Mary's character and I want to talk about it (this meta will be my opinion AND biased as a Mary defender, but idc)

I cannot stand it when people, particularly male fans, call Mary "manipulative" or someone who just "uses Arthur when it's convenient to her" because that just isn't true, and it really shows that a lot of the people who just trash on her have no idea what they are actually talking about.

Labelling her as someone who uses Arthur just for her own personal conveniences makes no sense when you consider the fact that so many other characters, including members of the Van der Linde gang, have also asked Arthur to do things for them, including requests that are much worse than anything Mary could have asked for (you know, like Strauss for example?). Not only that, but if Arthur rejects Mary's help, she doesn't get angry - if anything, she understands why he may be reluctant to help her. If Mary truly only wanted to use Arthur, she wouldn't have shown how grateful she was for his help and how much she truly did miss spending time with him by asking him out on a date to the theatre.

And to those who criticise her for not being able to leave her family sooner: do you... not remember the time period this story is set in? All of RDR2 (1899 - 1907) takes place before women got electoral equality with men (1928) and during the main story's time, women were very much under the control of their husbands - or their fathers if they were not married. A big reason as to why Arthur wasn't able to marry Mary in the first place when they were courting each other was because her father didn't approve of his outlaw lifestyle.

Even if she had more of her own autonomy, we must remember that Mary is part of an abusive family unit. She often tries to excuse her father's terrible actions even though she knows how awful of a man he has become over the years. She is isolated and is hopping from one temporary shelter to another (Valentine, Saint Denis, etc) - she is a widow, she cannot depend on her father obviously, she cannot depend on her mother since she died, nor could she depend on her brother Jamie since perhaps she thought that she was meant to be the source of dependency as the older sibling. Mary said it herself in her goodbye letter (if Arthur rejects to help her) that she truly had no one else to turn to. Arthur was literally the only other person she could ask help from and even then, it seemed like a last resort after not interacting with each other for many years before her first mission and her being apologetic for taking up his time.

Mary holds a lot of regret and remorse for how things ended and it is clear she still thinks about what could have been between her and Arthur. When she fully accepts that she doesn't want to continue living such a miserable life because of her family, she makes a big leap in suggesting she and Arthur run away together, a parallel to Arthur's proposal years before, showing that she has grown and no longer wants to accept a life she feels trapped in.

People who criticise Mary for not being able to leave her family + the life she has always known behind should also consider how Arthur is the exact same. He is as much of a victim of this unfair circumstance as Mary is, but we have seen how he couldn't leave the gang life behind. It was what he died for, after all. He failed to meet the promise he made to Mary that he would run away with her after getting some money and ensuring the gang members' safety - which technically isn't his fault since this was pre-Guarma, but Mary couldn't have known about that. To her, he kept making promises he couldn't keep/getting dragged into violent crime life and she couldn't bear to continue having false hope anymore.

It's a shame that Mary has been given such a bad rap by certain fans who have mischaracterised her. Her story is a sad one and so is her love story with Arthur. I will always love and defend Mary (+ the other main female characters of RDR2) and I truly wonder how different her and Arthur's lives would have been if they managed to run away and get married (TB ideally excluded) and how happy they would have been.

Jinx is a jack-in-a-box and yes she is attached to the box, the box is apart of her body

This is color coded for me but just to know

Magenta: prosthetic limb or extension

Purple: markings

Green: hairline

Red: body

Jinx is also made of mostly plastic and mostly hollow

I also made a diagram of her anatomy which is probably one of the worst things I ever made lol but it’s really to try to explain what she is since she is a mix of inorganic and organic stuff

The organs (except the core which is a whole other thing) are the only thing that is organic. This also mostly applies to Cleon, Dolly, etc I won’t get into it unless someone ask then I’ll start yapping

In universe it’s pretty normal

Fun fact she is my second jester oc ever anyway

I wanted to have a kids toy character but then oh no she’s actually evil or something

(Springs were removed for animation reasons)

And then I thought about how would she even move around if she doesn’t have legs plus she’s a wanted criminal it would be an issue for her and I can’t have Dolly carry her around at all times or hop around but then I rewatched a scene in the Spider Man into the spider verse movie and in the scene where all the spider men are chasing down Miles and there is a spider girl that has a wheelchair that turn into spider legs

And I’m like omg that’s so cool I’m gonna steal it

It’s why Jinx has spider legs I imagine her running like a spider I’m planning to try to animate that later

He totally obssesed with high heels and plateform and weirdly good at walking in them..

His nickname Rocket boy cause it look like Rocky (And he is extremely strong/good with rocket launchers)

He was raised by his single mother

He had braces as a pre-teen for years to fix his really bad teeth

Rocky He dreamed of being an actor when he was younger

I found that my sona would be an experiment (( not to be special or something )) but just because my pfp would NEVER show up in any waiting areas no matter WHAT. So every time I play with friends I tell them they’re escorting me to Sebastian.

This is Micha! A lovable Jelly fish / cat mix that is still alive because they like to be an errand boy for Sebastian. Micha has a small power up to explode their entire body at random BUT they can’t die-they would only respawn again in the place they last slept at. Though Sebastian and Micha have a strain or bully/friends relationship, they get along better than most people.

The way Micha works is that he would randomly appear in a 1/5 chance during a run and the player would have to lead them to Sebastian on a time limit. So it speeds the gathering stuff faster AND if you do it just in time, you would get a code breaker BUT if you didn’t you would die. Here’s some points

> + Code breaker / personal creature alert system

> - you have to go faster and they steal your locker if an angler comes.

Why they steal lockers is because they have an expendable jacket on and most other creatures get them confused (( and because Micha has infinite lives )) and kill them. So they wear it for an adrenaline high tbh.

trying to include my bullet wound scar so thats what the lil bump on my chest is- i have 2 other scars but theyre not that visible cuz one is right on my elbow and the other one- my 2nd bullet scar, is in my inner arm

rambling now but do you guys get any pain in your scars? if i press my inner arm scar it hurts and sometimes my elbow scar randomly hurts

my elbow scar is so ugly its big and puffy right there on my arm cry

Oc inspiration

I know that I’m a little too late for the party; but oh well, Anyway. Here is the OC inspiration for Arnold Lopez.

My first inspiration for Arnold is this blonde hottie His name is ‘Tay / Tiye’ I think, that what Alex had called him. He is a background character in totally spies; he works as a model and he got kidnapped by some villain in the episode. If you are wondering which episode it is episode 8 season 3 of totally spies.

Arnold has the same personality as him; cool, calm, easy-going and calculated. So, Arnold isn’t inspired by Tiye / Tay appearance only, but his personality too.

Additionally, Arnold worked as a model in some period of his life, just like the handsome blondie.

The second inspiration for Arnold is definitely John Constantine from DC. I mean why not? Both are exorcists, and both deal with creepy, evil spirits and demons.

Why does Eddie have a prosthetic arm?

I could come up with an elaborate answer and deep lore stuff but the real answer is I think it's pretty cool and I really like it <3

Initially I've made him lose it as a child but I think I wanna retcon that and have him lose it during his debut as the riddler cuz it creates more interest possibilities.

Sorry I don't have an interesting lore stuff to talk about yet as I'm still developing him; but I have some fun trivia and ideas I'm throwing around that I could share instead:

-he uses kryptonite to power his arm. (I read that Kryptonite is radioactive so the safety of that is very questionable.)

-Essentially he has a micro nuclear reactor in his arm that converts the energy into an infinite power source

-Mr. Freeze definitely helped him build it, he was the only one Eddie trusted with his arm, even tho Ed won't admit it to him but he deeply respects victor and his work.

-his arm heats up faster than it cools down, if he overuses it; it will overheats and that's horrible for him lol. (Really Mr. Freeze?)

-Edward still experiences chronic phantom pains almost everyday, it gets really bad sometimes and sometimes it hinders his work and the use of his arm (not very helpful when you're trying to escape batman or the GCPD)

-he probably has cool gadgets built in it

-another fun fact, Eddie has a prosthetic eye too, the one with the scar over it isn't a real eye and it could do it's own cool stuff too like night vision and a camera

-and finally he has impaired hearing. So yes, the question mark earcuff is also a hearing aid, it could also pick up radio transmissions if he so wished to (tho breaking through batman's transmissions has been impossible so far.)

I just realized my riddler is too fucked up for his own good.

I hope you're not too disappointed with this answer, do tell me if you have cool theories or ideas to share! I like bouncing off my ideas with others' so far it has been the best method for me to come up with stuff.

I think neurodivergent people should make shows/podcasts/books with just "info dumping" in them.

I know that any neurodivergent will go straight to see it, especially since the name is short enough to be remembered.

In any case, I assume that neurodivergents should do their own thing like info dumping and other things that don't interest neurotypicals.
