Wanted to draw some TSWFBY again and decided to be a little self indulgent and crossover with my integrity soul Flo because. imagining them interacting with Blue is certainly a contrast HAHAHFGJKH Though as an older sibling they'd immediately get attached. Two integrity souls who couldn't be more different. Blue would see right through them immediately.

While doodling I realized Yellow and Flo have surprising similarities in more ways than one. Intimidating older siblings who have dust on their hands dying due to some sort of blast for self-sacrificial reasons of sorts and coming back to life with half of their face scarred/burnt leaving one of their eyes blinded? okay. oh my god

I always struggle drawing Blue I feel but this time I think I figured her out. She's small and poofy and I love her very much,, Yellow's shapes are fun

There is a huge debate about art style theft happening on my dash atm. Too chicken to actually jump into the fray but some thoughts:

genuinely curious. Do you think it is even POSSIBLE to copy a style? People are arguing it's such a precious and personal thing to steal. But BECAUSE it is so personal I usually find people cannot copy someone's style enough to be threatening to the original. When obvious it can be irksome but I find that whatever habits or life influences the copycat has tends to seep through even if unintentionally.

And eventually if the copycat sticks around long enough they find their own style.

I do agree that people who haven't grown enough to have multiple influences, and are clearly emulating a single source, should be careful when trying to profit from their work. but usually the market recognizes that they aren't practiced enough.

irks me when people say daredevil is the batman of marvel because there's one fundamental difference between them, and it's that daredevil is dirt poor and batman is a billionaire. their wealth gaps are absolutely integral to each of their characters. daredevil would not be who he is if he was a rich man and i will die on this hill
