so here's my piping cold take on Soda n his ability to cook. I don't think he's a BAD cook, per say. I just thinking his taste is horrifically awful. He's got a raging sweet tooth. If he gets bored of a recipe he will freestyle. He will put sugar into casserole. He refuses to use measuring cups. If he can't find the measuring spoons he looks for 3 second n then goes nahh I'll just eyeball it (he cannot).

BUT

when Soda finds a recipe he LIKES??? ooh boy. It's over. he becomes gorden ramsey in that kitchen. everything is EXACTLY the same every time. he won't let Darry cook his specific meals bc only he knows how to get them exactly right.

exam 5 for me... tomorrow!

honestly have been feeling really nervous for this exam since my classmates have either failed it or just barely passed. and i had less time to study this time around because i rushed to book the exam.

so i drew this little encouragement early cuz i need the reminder that no matter what happens tomorrow, i did what i could and i didn't compromise on my boundaries—and that is its own victory.

and i hope that you'll be reminded to celebrate your own big and small victories too!

Remember y'all. Caffeine is a stimulant. Stimulants typically have opposing affects on those with adhd. If a demigod drinks black coffee they ain't getting a burst of energy. At most they're going be able to focus their adhd more. Or just get tired and have heart palpitations.

Will is not staying up because of 100+ coffees. My man is awake out of determination and pure spite. The fact he hasn't snapped is a miracle.

Also. They're probably low on iron. Get those kids some supplements.

I feel like there is a potential for laois - mithrun friendship post-canon since mithrun is out in the fringes of the golden kingdom; laois is busy with ruling but also a bit glum because of his curse and all. And so when laois hears mithrun seeing (fighting technically) monsters on a regular basis (not regular, his cooking sessions with senshi counts as regular), laois asks him to just journal his observations. And mithrun has an eye for detail, mostly because he needs to because he needs to know what hes fighting, but he was a dungeon lord and he knew some detail about the monsters that used to be under his employ.

And just think though Laois mentioned something something about a particular monster which Mithrun responds with his own working knowledge, and that spurs Laois to gasp and just lore dump everything he knows and Mithrun nods, responds, and adds his own commentary - albeit short. Its an unlikely match, but it all starts from there. And I can imagine, when Laois heard that Kabru and the Canaries were encouraging Mithrun to try out stuff to find new desires, Laois' first idea is to invite him to cook or taste test monster cuisine, and Mithrun is at least curious to try, and that leads to a horrifying scenario for Mithrun's squad of getting served monster food in a daily basis...Senshi is proud that Mithrun has found a joy in cooking.

i haven’t planked in months and i was worried that i would fall over within seconds so i used the lazytown theme song of all things to time myself. i planked for over a minute straight! maybe not much but i’m proud of it since my personal best is like 2 minutes. then i did 5 pushups and 10 sit-ups [my old daily routine] and was just as pleasantly surprised to see it wasn’t that bad! call me autistic but the lazytown binging is working on me. this is for you, sportacus 🫡
