Penny stardewvalley makes me so sad because she's SO sensitive to, like, basically everything you tell her (telling her that you can't stand children while two children are nearby is a pretty lousy move but -1500 friendship?? being a jerk to other characters' faces typically loses you about 50 points, and if you choose the option labeled "creepy" and ask Leah for a kiss in her 2 heart event she physically hits you and kicks you out of her house but that's only -100 friendship…) and so if you want to befriend her it's a whole lot of lying and tiptoeing around her feelings (2 hearts: George was right but saying that makes her feel bad. 6 hearts: her food sucks but even if you try to be polite about it she feels like a failure; only a bald-faced lie pleases her. 8 hearts: saying you don't want to be tied down with a family loses you a little bit of friendship and she's only happy if you say you want kids) and I can't help but think she's a product of her environment. She lives in a trailer with only her mother, who gets drunk every night and has something of a temper. Penny's like a skittish rescue animal who won’t even come out from hiding under something unless you leave her lots of treats

it is ok to enjoy things you like to watch/read and engage with. there is nothing to be ashamed of in that regard. also dandadan is extremely tame and literally i feel like people blow its themes WAY out of proportion.

“there are teens in their underpants!!! or naked sometimes!!” i think this may be controversial to say but im about to blow your mind….. the fact that there are teens in their undies or even naked doesnt equate to sexualization! we arent supposed to find those scenes sexy. we are supposed to be either embarrassed for them (like the scene where okarun and momo are caught in the hallway), or its played for laughs. never is it meant to be taken in a “sexy” kind of way. like we arent really given a lot of male gaze scenes of momo or aira, and when okarun is naked/in his undergarments, its often played EXCLUSIVELY for comedic effect

i think you all are genuinely afraid to be cancelled/shunned just for liking a fictional/animated show that features partial nudity of 16-17 year olds. and that is a little sad to me! if you like the show for its storytelling and characters and whatnot, then go ahead and like it!!!!

Any headcanons or AU style things with Weiss

Hey friend~

Weiss is one of my fav lil goobers, but I realize I haven’t really sat down and thought much about her character. My brain just turns off when I see her it's just 'mm yes is Weiss :)'

Anyways, I gave it a go. If there’s anything specific you’d like to know (shipping/character relationships/her take on canon events) just ask me further. Enjoy my ramblings:

The eyelid of Weiss’ scarred eye is damaged, permanently drooping

She’s the queen of puppy dog eyes

I like to think she takes after Willow a lot. There’s a lot of shared personality, characteristics, even looks between them. She’s a mama’s girl and Willow’s ‘favorite’

Weiss is forever cold, always liking to bundle up in some aspect. If anyone warm is around, you can usually find her snuggled up with them

I'll ship Weiss with a lot of the main gorlies. Big fan of polypiles

I feel like she wears red because of her grandfather, keeping his colors around as a reminder, but eventually she also associates the color with Ruby. Seeing her as a leader and partner to look up to and rely on

She is so easy to read. There is no hiding how she’s feeling

I like to think she hates wearing heels, but damn if she wont continue just to keep the slight height she can afford

She likes to pet Blake and Vel's ears sometimes. Soft, warm, it's chill. (This comes from the anthology manga)

Expanding on that, I also think Weiss is now rather anxious/paranoid about Cinder the way she keeps being targeted by her. Sudden fire startles her and Weiss refuses to split off on her own if on missions or anything open like that

Weiss eventually surpasses Yang in humor but it's cause of her dry wit, never the puns

Post Atlas, her and Winter are on more equal terms. Her sister's been knocked down the pedestal some in her eyes, but she still holds respect for her all the same. She can just act more casual with her like she does with team rwby

Weiss knows a lot of 'cultured' skills because of her privileged upbringing such as chess, orchestral instruments, dancing, sports like tennis and badminton, even cooking, but the one thing she could never manage was baking and it haunts her cause all she wants to do is make a yummy batch of cookies for Ruby 🍪

Weiss prefers coffee as her hot drink of choice, but she makes attempts to drink Blake's favorite teas so they can bond over that

In terms of my tone, I don't have the privilege to get emotional when talking about this. If I show any emotion, I get tone policed and ignored. I have no choice but to be calm when talking about it so the idea that you are trying to tone policed me into a position that you can dismiss me for being frustrated upset is laughable. Do better.

Ccino: ah.. they’re regulars. See, me and Night have this deal- where (since my AU is considered a safe zone and no violence is allowed there), Him and her team get unlimited free coffee, and she enforces the rules using.. whatever dark magic he has. I never got too into the details. He takes care of me, so I take care of him and his partners.

That’s not to say that I don’t get involved every now and then, but that’s the basic version.

As for orders, I’ll split this up.

-Night always orders a mint chocolate chip milkshake, and a croissant. I change up the croissant types from time to time, but she always gets them.

-Dust just orders chocolate milk for some reason, which isn’t actually on the menu, but it’s so easy to make that I don’t protest. If they were to get food, they’d usually get a cookie or some other sweet.

-Killer aims for the most caffeinated thing currently available- which I really don’t think he needs -and a piece of lemon cake.

-Cross gets a choco-taco, and nothing else. I try to tell the boy to have some milk, but he runs away when I try to offer it to him.. weird.

-Bear is my favorite aside from Night. He just has an entire chocolate cake, which is pretty proportionate for his size, and he brings his own mug for me to fill with plain black coffee. The special thing about him though, is that he refuses to sit down and eat without making me sit with him, and feeding me a portion of his cake. It’s cute, and definitely a nice break, but it does tend to cause issues when the shop is busy, heh.

Fairy!reader thoughts

Poor fairy!reader seems to be doing a lot of physical exercise what with all the "heavy lifting" the 141 have been getting them to do. How about we give them a break with some mental enrichment.

Maybe they could try to do some suduko or paper mazes then move onto putting their fairy in a hamster maze with some little goodies or a special treat hidden for fairy!reader to find.

If the boys think this has gotten to easy they could upgrade it to a rat maze. The harder the maze the better the reward of course.

Or they could turn a book nook diorama into a little escape room.

All purely for mental enrichment, of course.

Certainly not to make sure their little fairy could escape if they were somehow taken from them. And definitely not to have their little fairy so exhausted that they can do whatever they wanted to them, not that they don't already.

i could see simon getting really into making mini versions of, like. the saw bathroom to torment his fairy in 😬 it's a fun little creative outlet for him but actually he'll never admit that. it's about keeping her sharp in a cruel world

(he's the only man crazy enough to make her a mini model torture dungeon, most people would just put her in a lock box or something but that's okay cause locks are part of the room anyway so she's still getting the experience)

How do we feel about Beach wear Noritoshi....

Everyone thinks he'd go covered head to toe wearing those wet suits divers use, but no. Noritoshi isn't the type to want to attract attention to himself when it's not needed, so he'd try to blend in. Emphasis on try.

He's the guy wearing a covering or some shit. I think you'd have to fight him to wear a translucent one. (if you splash him with water, you'll acheive the same effect thoughahahaha) even though it's a beach, he's trying to find an appropriate way to cover up, hes just like that. yes to sunscreen ofc. I can see him in a sun hat, but it's not his.. maybe he took it from one of the girls
