been having thoughtts about dragons in g/t recently. i dunno why i cant get it out of my brain.
more specifically, a dragon slayer whose goal is to defeat fearsome beasts and keep their kingdom safe.
Somehow, they're cursed to become a dragon. Maybe they piss off a witch or pick up some enchanted item. Either way, they're now the very thing their people fear.
They weep every day, watching the kingdom from afar. They can't get too close anymore, not without being shot at by tiny arrows.
They just wanted to be a hero, someone to be brave for the people who couldn't be. However, now? They've been forced to give up hope on those aspirations
because now they are the one being woken out of their slumber, met with blades and fire. They are hunted. No one recognizes them anymore, not as the person they once were. In their people's eyes, they're a giant, ferocious monster.

i've got so many lacewing eggs on my plants, and cute tiny, tiny bees that live in reeds. a mud dauber also moved in. it's good.
#my mason bee house is full of a bunch of babies#the dove is fucking back which im a lil uneasy about actually bc of the whole bird flu thing so i've been cautious out there#it hasnt been reported in my county but it has been in one nearby soooo... I gotta play it safe#havent seen the frog in a week or so but im sure hes okay. it could very well be different frogs each time also. ik there's multiples of#them here#i keep seeing new bugs every day now#some of my flowers are gonna bloom soon#a humming bird flew up to my garden the other day#ITS GOOD#native gardening is so rewarding#i even saw one of those weird bugs that look like mosquitoes but aren't#not fungus gnats. idk what it was. but it didnt have the sucker. i read about it the other day but cant remember what its called#anyways. i want to put a mini pond out there now. both for the frogs and all the other creatures that seem to like my ~watery~ plants#(i accidentally ended up making a mini marshland. which is ok with me. but yeah. i get those kinda creatures. which i enjoy a lot#it was purely on accident but an accident i dont regret)
