Bisan is calling for another global strike!

I saw some posts just outlining Jan 21st, and wanted to clarify that Bisan has called for a full seven days of action.

What a global strike would look like is:

calling in sick to work

purchasing bare essentials ahead of the week so you can observe the general boycott of goods / buying as little as you genuinely can

putting in a concerted effort to elevate Palestinian voices and make it clear that this strike is in support of a permanent ceasefire!

For those who will have to purchase necessary goods during this time, please observe the brands that the BDS movement is asking us to boycott!

roommate katsuki lore time: 

your job isn’t as physically demanding as that of a pro-hero, but it is equally, if not more time intensive. your friends often comment you seem dead on your feet way more often than they do, and you have to agree. so when you decide to scrounge up some extra money and hire a private chef, you think it’s the best decision you’ve made in a while. 

your friends would seem to agree—and some tease that maybe you should ask your guy if he can cater to izuku, too. except for katsuki, who seems appalled, betrayed, and disgruntled. it takes all but one week about you gushing over the meals your chef has prepped for you for katsuki to show up to your apartment in the middle of the day, while you’re at work, and the chef is in your kitchen, kindly ask him to leave forever, and get to work himself. when you come home, you’re confused and pissed when you realize katsuki has fired your saving grace, but the anger falls flat on your tongue when you’re interrupted by the blonde spoon-feeding you the most delicious bite of steak that you’ve ever had in your entire life. he’s way too smug watching you physically melt about the food, and ordering you to sit down and have a proper meal. 

he tries not to be endeared by your stuffed cheeks, but there’s a satisfaction brewing in him that he can’t quite place. all he knows is it won’t be taken away from him again; that’s why he flicks your forehead, throws a dish towel over his shoulder, and says, “make room for my shit here by the end of the week. and don’t complain when i put all your spoons together in one drawer,” before heading over to the sink to wash up. 

you don’t even get until the end of the week before katsuki is barreling into your apartment with boxes and clothes and, “this is what we call a stainless steel pan in the wild. ever seen one before?” prompting you to reach up and pinch his ear even as he cackles all the way to the kitchen. you suppose, in the end you can’t complain. you get to live with your best friend, you get free catering, free cleaning, and it takes you two months of living together to find out katsuki’s paid off your rent for the rest of the year, too. you know, what friends are for.

it's been a long day, a very long mission, and now that you we're being taken back to base you couldn't help but let your guard down.

you rode beside ghost, to his left, soap driving, gaz and price to your left. your eyelids felt heavy, opening and closing slowly, occasionally staying closed for a few moments too long. your muscles were limp, aching and sore, a slight burn inside your flesh.

your shoulder was touching ghosts, well- more like pressing on his, leaning on him each time your eyes shut longer than necessary. he didn't take notice at first, only thinking it was the bumpiness of the ride, but then he feels a particular shift in weight on his shoulder, and looks down, seeing you dozing off on him.

you were so tired and ghosts body was naturally a big firm pillow.. it wasn't your fault !!!

your lips are forming a small pout, cheek squished against the curve of his shoulder. you looked adorable, guard down, getting the rest you needed. he has the smallest, tiniest little smile under his balaclava, eyes crinkling the slightest bit. his heart jumped a second at the sight of you, and from that moment, he did not move at all. he stayed completely still, not wanting to disturb your needed sleep, trying to make you more comfortable.

his shoulder is comfy too, the warmth radiating off of him, his arm that you've subconsciously got hold of, limp in your grip.

remember soap, gaz, and price?? yeah well, they got a picture. soap was the one who pointed it out, smirking through the rearview mirror. "look at the lovebirds.." he murmurs, and gaz looks at you two, then price, and they're quick to snicker, quiet laughs escaping them.

"you won't mind if we frame this, right L.T.?" gaz asks as he's pulling out his phone. "i'll break your phone." he grumbles as a reply, but gaz just smiles at the sight of ghost glaring at them, knowing he couldn't do anything about it, for now.

he snaps the picture, and there's that memory, in his photo gallery, you knocked out on ghosts shoulder, ghost sending a nasty stare at the camera. how cute<3

hi! hope you’re having a good day/night. wondering if you had any tip for achieving phosphorescence/fluorescence with colored pencils? i’ve been getting back into drawing after a long art block and wanted to draw some glow in the dark toys but i’ve been struggling to give a good actual green glow on a dark background. thought i’d ask since you’re incredible with colored pencil!

oh prismacolor neon colored pencils are perfect for this, they only have 3 colors (orange, yellow, and pink) but i think this is the closest thing to what ur describing that ive used in my own art

some of these are more subdued than others, i blend the neon color and a regular color (the neon pencils also have harder lead so are good for blending with) it creates this really nice underglow that i cant achieve with the regular colors. the more subtle ones have less of the neon color blended in and the brighter ones have more. the neon colors are really bright and vibrant it surprised me the first time i used one. my scanner does not pick up neon colors tho (idk if all scanners are like that) so I have to photograph the art instead whenever i use neon colors

im sure other brands have neon colors u can do this with (and other mediums too) this is just what i do
