in this AU, Walter had a big argument with Ayla (curator), sadly for Wally the outcome was far from what he had imagined. Aayla got fed up with him and decided to swap his place with Stanley's to "teach" him a lesson. though swapping Stanley was easy to do, Swapping Walter was far from the same. Aayla messed him up really bad and now he cannot swap again. he is stuck as a 'human' and with a rather weird-looking arm now. somehow the swap created an anomaly he is now the host of, it is the very source of his pain now when he is not using it. this weird anomaly is sort of talking to him, at least he believes so. Walter can only hear a few words but they're always the same, "break, corrupt, devour, repeat".

Stanley on his side, initially felt really bad about all of this, but Aayla slowly made his opinion change about Walter. Stanley grew to be more cocky and more disrespectful of Walter making their relationship turn really hostile. every time he has the opportunity, Walter threatens Stanley to destroy him, so with time Stanley learns to stay far away from him, barely narrating anything since Walter always hangs out with Tk now. Stanley seems to stay around Aayla now, learning HER ways of doing things around here.

so let's say the Parable kept going like that, Stanley and Aayla generate another human so the narration can continue while Walter curiously wanders around, nobody knows exactly how he does that but it seems he's getting the hand of that anomaly thing...

I Wish-

FOP: A New Wish tk fic (SFW)

I decided to change the whole 'Wish Fart' concept into something else. Instead of creating a "Wish Fart" when a Wish isn't made right away, the fairy instead just feels like a buzzing, tingling sensation.

Also this happens after the finale, so spoilers ahead (I just obviously changed some things)

Summary: Dev is trying to wish for something but can't quite get it right, resulting in him finding out Peri is ticklish. And being the little shit he is, he takes this and runs with it.

It had been a long morning for sure. A long night as well, since Dev couldn't stay sleep, but Peri wanted to keep him company so he didn't sleep much either, mostly just taking naps at the foot of his bed in the form of a cat.

Occasionally the boy would startle awake from yet another nightmare, then grow frustrated at the fact that he couldn't seem to stay asleep. Even more frustrated that his nightmares didn't make sense, and weren't even that scary to him while awake.

Eventually it got to a point where Peri just stood from his cat-nap and walked closer to his godchild and curled up next to him. This finally seemed to calm the kid down enough to actually stay asleep this time, and in turn, Peri got to sleep the rest of the night as well.

Though now, they both were awake for the day, and both of them still tired. It was a Saturday luckily, so Dev didn't have school, but Hazel had invited him to go see a movie with her later that day, so he was trying to wish together an outfit.

The only problem was that he knew what vibe he wanted, but anytime he wished for it, the outfit wasn't entirely what he wanted.

"This is cool, but it's not.. awesome. Can we try again?" He asked, glancing up at his godparent.

Peri sighed. This was like the tenth outfit change in a row. "How about instead of wishing for a 'general vibe' as you call it, you just tell me what you want? Like a specific color, style, heck, I'll even take types of fabric at this point." He got his wand ready, already glowing, waiting for the wish.

Dev groaned. "It would be easier to think if I wasn't so tired still... Okay, um.. I wish for- uh.. Wait no, hold on." He slid his sunglasses to the top of his head to think, eyeing his outfit yet again in the mirror.

The godfather's wand went out and he shivered a little. He hated when Dev changed his mind last second. If a wish got started but was left unfinished, the magic would still course though the fairy for a moment. And magic was hyper. It buzzed beneath the skin and tingled, and depending on the fairy, it tickled.

"Okay okay," the boy said, seemingly excited now, "I wish for a totally- wait no that's just another vibe. Ugh why is this so hard?"

Again, Peri's wand had lit up and fizzled out, leaving him to crack an involuntary smile at the buzzing it left behind. "J-Just make the wish." He pleaded.

Dev turned to look up at him and noticed the slight discomfort he seemed to be displaying. A jolt of fear stabbed through him. "What's- This isn't that 'Magical Backup' thing again is it!?"

Almost immediately, Peri put up a hand to stop him. "No no, it's not that, I'm okay." he reassured, feeling bad for the kid. Not only had he had it rough from his own father, but he had almost witnessed his godparent.... yeah. He definitely understood why that would have freaked him out since he didn't know what it actually was.

"It's not Magical Backup, kid, I promise. It's this other thing-" He sighed. He didn't know how to explain this to a human that couldn't experience it himself. "So when wishes get started, but are left unfinished, fairies feel this sort of... well it's like.. tickling, from the left over magic that didn't get to grant anything.. If that makes sense? It's harmless, Dev, I promise."

He looked back at his godchild to see if he understood, but instead he just saw that look on Dev's face. The look of a little menace about to be a little menace.

"Devin, don't you dare-" He started, but it was useless. He knew his boy too well.

"I wish for a....." Dev started, but let it trail off, grinning as he watched his fairy twitch and cover his mouth, stifling chuckles, glaring down at him. "Hmm.. Actually nevermind, I wish.... Nope, hold on. Okay, I got it, I wish-"

Peri was curled up mid-air, his arms folded over his tummy that couldn't seem to stop tingling. Unused magic just continued to zip and buzz and bounce around inside him the more his demon of a child kept messing with it. "Dehehev! Cuhut it ohout!"

"Cut what out, I'm not doing anything to you." He grinned. When he saw Peri start to fly toward him, he crossed his arms, cocky as ever. "I wish.." he watched the fairy dropped to the ground, reduced to laughter once more. "Hmmm, nevermind, I lost it again. Whoops."

"Dehev I swehear to the stahars you ahare nohot gehetting anymore wi- hehehe! Wihishes after thihis!" Peri giggled out. The tickling wasn't unbearable, but man it made it hard to focus.

"Wouldn't that hurt you more than me?" Dev asked, just watching him flail about on the floor, watching his wings flap a million miles a minute, which he found amusing as all heck.

"S-Shuhut up.. brat.." Peri huffed, the magic finally starting to calm down and go away. He let out another big huff and just plopped down on the floor for a moment before he picked up his head to glare at his godson, who just laughed a little at him. "My bad." Dev said, clearly not feeling very bad at all.

The fairy just let his head drop back down. "I'm starting to think 'Dev' is short for 'Devil.'" He muttered, his voice muffled by the floor. Though as that got a genuine laugh from the boy, he smiled a little himself and got up. With a jump, he got himself back in the air, floating.

"Alright Dev," he started, dusting himself off, "Playtime's over, let's get back to work on which outfit you want to wear for the movies tonight with Hazel."

Dev's face blanked for a moment as he looked back in the mirror. "You know what, let's stick with my normal outfit. It's just the movies with a friend, nothing special."

Peri groaned and poofed him back into his usual white jacket. This kid would be the death of him.

recently showed a non-army friend some classic run bts episodes, a few clips of jks funny/chaotic lives and also all the gcfs on YouTube. They was surprised when I said that jm/jk get a loooot of hate across the entire fandom - as an outsider looking in, they really didn’t understand it and said even briefly from seeing a few interactions that clearly these 2 had a close connection.

said they had a travel show coming out and they said people must be excited because it sounds fun but I had to explain some are even trying to boycott it 😂😭

As a babyarmy too, just don’t understand how jikook became some disliked/hated when every other one is accepted and tkk is considered the norm.

Honestly, this is a question I've asked myself more than once. I know that Jungkook and Tae used to be close, always playing pranks and having fun together. In the beginning, people didn't really notice Jimin and Jungkook, apart from observing that they got along very well. But tkk was a very active duo in the early days of the group.

After that, I think it might be because they are attractive? Maybe, I'm not sure. That seems to be a predominant factor for the shippers of that ship.

As someone who entered this fandom without knowing anything about ships, I was surprised that this ship was so popular and that there were people who genuinely seemed to believe it was real. As I said, they were quite an active duo, but I think it's notable the time they started to gravitate towards other members. New dynamics began to grow stronger and different.

I think, for many members of the subgroup, it's a matter of "manly man + manly man." It's also an aesthetic issue, I think? I can't be sure.

The shippers of that ship are different. And different isn't always good. They stay afloat on baseless theories, edited photos, and lies—pure and simple lies.

I've always believed that Jikook is as disliked as you say because they make a lot of people uncomfortable. The other BTS ships are really just ships, in my opinion. Some may make you do a double-take, but generally, you can feel confident that you're seeing what you want to see or interpreting what you see the way you want to. I'm not sure if that makes sense. With Jikook, that's not the case. They have done and said things that break the illusion of "I'm seeing what I want to see" and enter into a reality—something real or with a real possibility of being so.

Many in this fandom have a certain fetish for same-sex relationships. It's almost like a taboo, something "forbidden," as such, it's fun because they know or believe it isn't real. It's a "game," and Jikook doesn't fit into that. That's why this fandom, in general, is always quick to justify, explain, and, as a last resort, OT7-ify everything Jikook says or does. That's why many people are quick to scold others for being "weird" just because they say Jikook is real. Jikook makes them uncomfortable; other ships do not.

Something that haters or Jikookphobics still don't understand is that no matter what they do, Jimin and Jungkook are not going to stop being who they are. More importantly, they are not going to stop interacting the way they always have. It didn't work in 2019, it didn't work in December 2023, and it’s not going to work now.

On the Break-Up

Tarlos vs Tevan

People had mentioned that Tevan's break-up is similar with Tarlos', which may indicate a reunion in the near future. The only similarity I can think of is that both happened because one half of the pair wanted to move the relationship forward, while the other half was reluctant. On the other hand, I find several differences between the two which are quite alarming:

1)) Rafael Silva was/is a main cast. He wouldn't go anywhere. Lou is just a guest star.

2)) Tarlos is the only queer couple on Lone Star. 9-1-1 OG has already one queer couple: Henren. So far, I haven't found any shows marketed towards the general audience, which have more than one queer couples who got a happy ending.

3)) Both Tim and Oliver agree that Buck is always a bit promiscuous. This trait is even deliberately shown when Buck was tackily eyeing a woman in the middle of his anniversary dinner with Tommy! Neither TK nor Carlos has this trait. During 5 seasons of their up and down relationship, neither TK nor Carlos has ever shown attraction to other people. Tim also posted a video in his Facebook page about how a character shouldn't change so much on a TV show. It could be an indication that he has set Buck as an eternal bachelor, who was destined to always search for love, while bedding multiple love interests until the season finale.

4)) Tarlos' break up didn't feel out of character. Although it happened off screen, and the reason was disclosed much later in the storyline, the explanation made sense. On the other hand, Tevan's break up is out of character for everyone involved:

Tommy used to be very mindful about other people's feelings. In 7x04, he was aware that he had created a wedge between Buck and Eddie, so he visited Buck to clear the air. This Tommy wouldn't get into a relationship, if he knew he couldn't move to the next step.

Buck who had always been clinging and pursuing people who had left him (Abby, Maddie), would not let Tommy go without fighting for their relationship.

Bobby who has said Tommy was good for Buck, and Henren who have questioned Tommy about his intention with Buck, would not standby watching the break up without saying anything to either Buck or Tommy.

5)) Although in the middle of a break up, there was a sense of continuity in Tarlos' love story. We saw both TK and Carlos struggled with the break-up. We saw people around them were concerned and questioning, as if they want Tarlos to be back together. This doesn't happen in Tevan's break up. The only sign that Tommy has been struggling is #TommybubblesBuck. We see mostly only Buck is struggling, while people around him indicate that they want him to move on (by hiding his phone instead of encouraging him to talk to Tommy like an adult!). It feels like the purpose of showing how much Buck has been struggling is to remind the audience that Tommy is as important as Abby for Buck, because Buck was also struggling when Abby left.

6)) Buck didn't even seem struggling while he was interacting with his team or Brad on episode 8x08 "Wannabes". This is different with TK and Carlos who carried their feelings almost all the time during their break-up period.

7)) Overall, the way Tarlos' break up was executed more thoughtfully indicates that it is an important milestone in their continuing love story. Tevan's break-up seemed poorly written and rushly executed, as if just to put a lid on a box. It seemed that the way Tim viewed Tommy is similar like he viewed Gerard and Ortiz: as loose ends from the prior season which need to be tied up asap, before being discarded like used tissues. Tim even preferred to give more attention to Brad Torrence, his shiny new toy. This was not happened in Tarlos break up.

Despite all the discouraging signs, I couldn't put off the tiny hope which is still flickering in my heart. I love Tevan too much, and it feels like I have been fighting more for their relationship than for my own 😅. With all the above signs, I'm afraid that the only chance for their love story to continue is by:

keeping the rating/viewership low until Tevan reunited on screen.

A: Well, first this all started as a Red vs Blue fanfic for the ship Chexer (Church/Tex/Tucker)-

It started as a fanfic for Chexer. However, I was already working on a different fanfic for RVB that was totalling about 15k words at this point (+ at least 90k to go), and I knew I would never have the time or energy to write this one. I thought: yknow. this would be really funny as an aita post.

Q: It was a fanfic of a Halo fanfic series.

A: Yep!

So, I submitted Tucker's perspective. I did not expect for it to get more than maybe 100 notes at most. I totally thought someone would call it out right away.

The funny part is, if I'd dedicated all this energy to a fic instead of this blog, I'd probably have about 15-20 thousand words of fic already, but whatever, can't ruin my personal day!

Also, I wanted to see how many people would figure it out/how long it would take for it to become too obvious that this was a fandom thing. I was dropping names and RvB lore since the beginning. A few people did figure it out, and I DMed them in private to let them know.

Q: But why make the blog then?

It was always my intent to wait until Carolina's perspective got posted (i am honestly still shocked i got away with "Carey/Georgia/West Virginia/Alabama/Miss Louisiana 1988"), let it simmer for about a day, then come clean. Which is what I'm doing now!

The reason I'm coming clean now instead of dragging it out is because I don't want anyone to feel stupid or like they got duped. You're not stupid! You were a part of this story! This was, as one anon said, a creative writing project. It was a collaboration! Thank you so much for helping me!

That said, I'm sorry to anyone that finds this disappointing! I had a blast doing this, but I will not be doing it again. I have gotten my fill. I have had my taste of being an influencer, and now I can go on with my life without ever feeling like I need to start a youtube channel.

Q: How did you keep up with a consistent timeline?

A: I didn't, especially at first. But in my time as a liar who lies about things, I have found that usually people are willing to believe you when you say "yeah, i lied about that".

Q: Wait, what about the thing with your kid?

A: Yeah, I fucked up on this one. In the other fic I was/am writing, Tucker was around 33. So, when I was saying what Junior's age was, I subtracted it from 33 and got 18. It wasn't until I was showing my partner the blog and they said "Wait, he had his kid at 13??????" that I realized I had fucked up. Oops!

Q: Was it really ALL fake?

A: For the most part. I will say that I did actually drop chocolate cake all over my tits that one time and had to shower by myself like a fucking loser. That one was true. I did also get my nails done for the first time ever, which did actually affect my typing. And I am in a band (but so is Tucker, canonically)! There are a few other things as well, but I don't want to list all of them.

Hi everyone! Here's a tickle fic sneak peak for SethoScara! Sorry I can paste it directly here. I'm on vacation for two weeks so I'm not going to be at my computer.

Yes, that is an iPod Touch 2nd Generation that I'm writing the fic on :) I'm trying new ways to make it easier and more fun to write. (And to detach from my phone 😅)

I also want to thank everyone who asks for requests or posts/submit tickle ideas like headcanons. This isn't limited to my blog but everywhere where tickling applies. We essentially bounce ideas off one another and either writers, artists, readers/viewers, and others will do something with those ideas and make something out of it.

It also helped me grow as a writer. Knowing I have an audience makes me feel good and confident about myself, so I want to thank you all :)

And on top of that, reading other tickle fics and looking at tickle art is really what got me here in the first place, so thank you to those who have inspired me to get this far.

I will be honest, I fell off reading tickle fics ever since I started the blog. The reason being is I have this rule in me to give comments to every fic I read and I dread it. I know the power of comments and I want to provide detailed comments and all that, but to me, commenting in large amounts takes the joy out of reading and most of the time, I just want to enjoy the feeling of reading and the imagery I get from reading. To add on to that, my one of my irl friends read one of my fics and just gave me a simple "I like your writing with these two and their laughter is conveyed so well with the GAHAHA," and to me that simple comment just filled me up with joy and made me realize you don't need to go over the top in leaving a comment for someone. It might be better to keep it simple like "I love your work." Simple words like that have a big and meaningful impact that's hard to describe.

So, to get back to reading tickle fics and reblogging what I read, I'll limit my comments to either one or two sentences or none at all. Doesn't mean I don't like it or anything it's just either I don't have the time or not feel like commenting BUT I really do care and like your work! If you want comments, feel free to ask me what I think and I'll write something up.

How is everyone feeling about the Taennie news? Knetz have fully accepted the truth and moved on, I suggest I-fans need to do the same. (Jennie is known for having dating news come out regularly, so it's not a big deal for BP fans. For Armys, the sane ones, we've known for a while now haven't we? It's not a shock anymore.)

I read the comments on my previous ask and don't worry! I will not be sharing anything sensitive whatsoever. I find it funny when other shippers say things like "How is it possible that K-fans can keep things to themselves?" I don't think I've seen anyone else address this yet so let me tell you why.

K-Jikookers are mostly queer. Yes, you read that right. Unlike other shippers, who are straight women that self-insert as one of the members (like they do with TK) we support them as a couple. This means that we don't want to date either of them, and we don't self-imagine as their partner - we know that they're unavailable because they're exclusive to each other. You get me? And we know first hand how terrible it is to be queer in a conservative society. There are actually very few real romantic shippers in Korea, (again, KM is the only romantic ship that has a substantial fanbase) simply because it is so hard to accept two men dating. This is why you will see K-Jikookers on Twitter all being close friends/meeting up in person, because they are kindred spirits. I think it might be hard for westerners to really understand. How do I emphasize this more? The older generation in Korea, anyone older than 30+, is deeply homophobic, to the point where they see anything LGBT as western influence and pervasion. Being American, I know it's hard to grasp that level of homophobia - it's not hate comments about your sexuality or people refusing to sell you a cake for a gay wedding. It's social death, rejection, parents disowning their children, getting fired from your job. I'm not kidding. Do you think us, as queer fans who love and support KM, will willingly out them?

We would never, ever, ever do that, because we know the repercussions. Some Jikookers like to fantasize about their coming out, and I want you to understand: the K-side is terrified of that day. Yes, we all think it will happen in due time, but we are very very scared. You think the hate that JM is getting now is bad? You think people sending food to JK's apartment is bad? Nope. You haven't seen anything yet. You understand what I mean, right? Their coming out will not be a cute post. It will be a carefully orchestrated move complete with a legal and PR team. If/when they are out, their lives will be in immediate danger. I truly believe they will leave the country for a bit, maybe even months, maybe a year. There will not be any public sightings, fan meets, concerts. KM know this very well too. I'm sure there's already a plan in place for it.

And anyone searching for KM evidence on K-Jikookers social media, I would say don't bother. It's almost impossible. The white day photo leak was a massive mistake, and I know exactly who leaked it because they were removed from all group chats immediately. K-Jikookers were very very angry with them (and also cussing out foreigners...please, we all need to keep our mouths shut and keep stuff within our own circles.)

Ranking Carlos' Season 4 Dad Shirts

In lieu of doing anything actually productive, I've spent some time this afternoon ranking Carlos' season 4 dad shirts. I know some people really don't like the dad shirt look, but I'm not vehemently against it, and some of them I like a lot.

There are 16 Carlos shirts from season 4 that I would place in this category. It's actually rather difficult because Rafa would look good if he dressed in a garbage bag, but I did the best I could. From best to worst:

1. The dark denim from 4x12 is my favorite. He just looks really good here. Also, his hair looks so nice. I'm trying not to let his natural beauty influence the shirt rankings, but it's hard to stay objective.

2. This is such a good color on him. It reminds me a little of the sweater he's wearing when he brings TK home in Push. It goes so nicely with his emerald green aura.

3. I honestly think it might just be the association with the soulmates scene, but I really love this shirt. When I see it, I just think SOULMATES.

4. This one is nice, especially right next to TK's pink shirt. They look very good together.

5. This is a nice shirt to wear to go visit your wife.

6. This one feels like something he should be wearing to go chop firewood or something, but he looks great.

7. This one is kind of basic, but it's another nice color on him. And it's the shirt he wears both when he finds out his fiancé doesn't have Huntington's and when he asks his dad to be his best man 😭

8. I think I would like this one a lot better if he wasn't wearing a whole other shirt with buttons under it. Considering the lavish flower arrangement plans from their parents, I feel like Carlos should be trying to wear one shirt at a time to save money. It's another really good color on him, though.

9. This one is like the less-good version of the soulmates scene denim shirt.

10. I don't really like the plaid here, but I do have a fondness for this shirt due to its association with this scene. It's the shirt he wears when he tells TK he realized he wasn't broken the day they met! So it's hard to really dislike it. Also, I think it looks better later paired with his jacket/the badge around his neck.

11. I'm not a huge fan of this one. The color is ok, but I think I generally like the short sleeve dad shirt look less than the long sleeve dad shirt look. HOWEVER, short sleeves mean that we get to see more ARMS. If we would have seen more of this shirt...maybe a scene of Carlos carrying something and flexing his arms...I might have ranked it higher.

12. I don't like this pattern much. He still looks so good, though. It's really hard to criticize shirts while he's wearing them!

13. Just like the way I particularly like the soulmates scene shirt because of the association with the scene, this shirt makes me too sad to rank it higher. It's a good color on him, but it hurts me.

14. We didn't see much of this one, so it's difficult to properly judge it. That said, I don't really like the color. I think maybe it's partly how much the buttons stand out? I don't know, but I'm not a fan. He still looks very beautiful, though.

15. I don't like the pattern of this one. But I do like the fact that he dressed nice and cooked and set the table to have date night in with his fiancé!

16. It was easy to rank this one last. I don't love the color or the stripes. And it's again a problem of association...when I see this shirt, all I see is Carlos' grief-stricken spiraling!

Hey! I ahev some rambled about the opera house au and just things with the chain in general.

First.

Hwo do you think legend would react to having to play a lead character for the opeing of the show and the main character he played love interest was one if the dives? Like maybe lullaby started panicking because dusk dropped out on opening night and she got sick and lullaby panicked and told legend he would play the lead daisy Buchanan (i'm just using the great gatsby musical characters bc i'm in love with it right now) and one of the dives played jay gatsby and he had to kiss them and sing powerful songs?

I don't know if it is Canon but in the linked Universe, legend is times descendent or direct successor. How do you think tike would react to finding out he had one more descendent under his nose and it's the veteran who is prickly and cold nothing like twilight his descendent or wind I think wind is his successor who is goofy ans child like but also put. Off even though in recent update we saw legend is an aboustle gremlin...well live that though.

Do you think legend would ever yell at twilight? Like maybe legend is having a bad day snd twilight says somting like "time left the master sword in perfect condition I didn't have to save Mt world until I was 17" and so on just really boasting about it to legend maybe because legendhad been mean or snsrky to wild and twilightwas trying tk get back for wild. Snd legend snaps "yeah really?! Good for you well time didn't leave the master sword in good condition for me! When I found the master sword it rusted beyond belief I had to build it back up with my own 9 (or who ever years old legend was) old hands with times blood on it because time died! Well fighting ganon making my world fall apart leaving a nine year old to save it!" Had legend just yells at twilight dumping all of his trauma on twilight even bring marin into to mix, and the whole chain stands there watching their veteran yell at the ranch hand with tears streaming down his face. Well time feels horrible for birnf inccont legend into the cruel world of being a hero, and giving him that trauma.

Legend can and has filled in for leading roles before, but he's also been cast in them! His major starring role is actually one of his more iconic (there's nothing more iconic than that, fight me) and does feature a bit of a "love story" between himself and the character that Warriors plays. Granted, Legend's character is faking the whole thing, but it's still a lot of flirting on stage. They both know how to be professional about it and behave themselves though, and anything like kissing is usually faked for the sake of the actors (when and if they can, there's no actual contact made, as long as they can make it look like there is. He's also ended up having to play a love interest (unrequited, but still) for Wild's character! They had a good laugh about it honestly and yeah, there was a moment there where people had questions, but it just turns out Legend's a good actor and very convincing :)

Honestly, I think Time would be sort of shocked to find out that Legend is also his successor, but also sort of horrified. I mean, Legend comes from a world where Time not only died, but also failed in his duties as a hero, leaving them to fall on the shoulders of another child instead. Granted, that's not his fault, but if you look at their timeline talk and all, you can't deny Time wouldn't blame himself at least a small amount. Would that guilt make it harder for him to be around Legend? Would he treat him differently, knowing that Legend might never have become a hero if Time hadn't fallen? I think he would. I think the guilt would eat at him, because while he does know there will always be heroes who rise to face evil, the fact that Legend had to rise specifically to clean up after him would devastate him. All the more so because Legend's the guy who's done the most out of all of them and is the only one to repeatedly have to fight Ganon, because the pig gained immortality as (again) a result of the Hero of Time falling.

I don't know that Legend would trauma dump on any of his brothers intentionally. he's very guarded, an people like that tend to not be super eager to drop truth bombs that big in a moment flat. Over time though? Sure! Someone makes a comment about the Master Sword and Legend ends up revealing that he had to reforge his before it was actually fit for use, because it was left in ruin. Something else later lets them learn that it still had Time's blood on it when it was left in the forest, and that Legend, while reforging the blade, had to clean the blood-rust away, smelling the blood of his predecessor as he worked. Maybe this or that comes up and they slowly start getting the puzzle pieces of the vet's life; nothing seems to fit together one way or another, and they're not sure how much is true because there's so many things, how could this much happen to one person? But then they realize how many adventures there have been, and how long it took, and when the final nail in the coffin comes with a tired "I was eight", it really hits them all. Legend wouldn't dump it all at once, but I think his brothers are smart enough to put together what he does say to find out the truth, and I think it would devastate them. Twilight would absolutely feel guilty about having it "so easy" in comparison (no such thing, they all suffered, but hey, they all think their pain is lesser than the rest) but I think Legend would shut that down in a heartbeat, if he knew. Now, if Legend inhibitions were lowered in some way and someone set him off? We might get it all at once, with the drama you described. Legend would have to be pretty out of it to be so honest about his past, but hey! Whatever works to make fissures and pain, no?

Hi there! If you don't mind me coming to TK's defense in the fight, and specifically the issue of how he seemed so harsh. And I agree that there's a bit of an assumption on TK's part thatCarlos would support his decision. So from what I saw TK didn't really get mad until Carlos brought up his father and the search for his killer. And I think also a better way to approach him doing that would have been to try and reason with him that he has to be able to see an end to things that might not be him catching the killer, most people do because they aren't cops. But I can see how TK has already been here for a year and a half with Carlos. And he has been supportive, he only asked for therapy when it started affecting their marriage and even then he didn't ask Carlos to give up the case. So now he's the one in crisis (not the same of course) and he's looking for that support and its not there. Instead Carlos seems to be insisting TK live with him in that grief of Gabriel's death until he's ready to move on, the "and it always will be" line, and that's not fair either. Sadly crisis rarely line up so that one person has fully processed everything when the next one hits. And for TK's POV it looks like Carlos is willing to let his little brother, a living person, be shipped off to be raised an ocean away, in the name of Carlos getting closure on a dead person, the whole future versus the past thing. And I could see why this would set him off so strongly. I don't think he's ignoring this painful subject in Carlos's life, he hasn't for the past year and a half, but he is saying in this instance he has his own needs and he's putting them first. This is just me imagining TK's POV, I don't think that's what Carlos was saying really but maybe he didn't think what he said through to the end very well. Does that make sense??

Also I totally agree with you on the Wyatt and "doing right by Julio" nonsense. I really hate when this show goes all out on the copaganda to justify questionable behavior. And if it wasn't for the specific "make things right" line used I might be able to see what Carlos did in a more favorable light. But Wyatt didn't do anything wrong, he actually did a really amazing job under pressure, and he shouldn't be made to feel this is something he owes the cops, or Julio, or anyone. I do know the show tends to do this and its why I always have to brace for episodes like this. And yeah, killing a bunch of people shouldn't be viewed as "making things right", I don't care who they are.

Whoever has time to read all this...wow 😂 First of all, I don't mind anyone writing me with an opinion as long as it isn't racist/queerphobic/etc. So all good. I think it's super fair to want to talk about an issue and I will reply whenever I have the bandwidth 💕 Also, as someone who's not a native English speaker, I will not try to nail you down on word choices. But I think if you meant it literally, coming to 'Tk's defense' at least with me isn't necessary at all. My criticisms toward him or Carlos are never an attack on them and having a different opinion or coming at something from another angle is just that. No defense necessary. If that makes sense??? I hope that doesn't come off as condescending I'm just hoping that the implication of people criticising or stating opinions is taken less and less as an attack in general. Because fandom often falls in such a binary. Good vs. Bad. And I don't prescribe to that in life or fiction. All of this to say, I think you make really valid points for why TK feels that way. I agree to certain extends. TK for sure has had to struggle with watching his husband be consumed with work and his father's death. And even if Gabriel had died of natural courses, it is TOUGH supporting a partner. It surely was tough for Carlos to support TK in season 3. And that is a struggle you are willing to take when you love someone but it takes a toll nonetheless. BUT: narratively, what Lone Star gave us was this: therapy - resolution through a compromise with the box - Carlos helping with the barn - gigantic birthday party Carlos seemed to have organized or at least was heavily involved in and present for and THEEEEN - TK not communicating well. In real life, issues like that are so messy and take forever to be resolved. Ngl, I've been hurt about some things a lot less severe for yearrrs. And I go to therapy too lol. But Lone Star's short season and pacing and cramming all of this in one now leads to this narrative to feel so jumbles because we as viewers can guess that the issue wasn't resolved for TK. How could it be?

But to give us two episodes of only seeing them happy and united again and then have TK not talk about adopting Jonah with Carlos first? THAT for me is the issue. Not TK being snappy and being upset when Carlos brings up Gabriel. Despite not seeing the on-screen struggle of it continue, that still made sense to me. I don't see that to be the reason why TK sprung the Jonah thing on Carlos like that. And he DID spring it on Carlos. That is human and again, don't mind him not finding the perfect words. But S4 established Carlos as someone who said he might not want kids. That's where we left things off. Jonah challenges that. That is super fair. I honestly have a case like that in my family I won't go into details for, but when I was 20, I was very briefly considering taking care of a toddler despite the circumstances being very very bad. It resolved in another way, but still, I have an idea what it's like to have family crisis and beign forced into making that tough decision. TK is so valid in wanting to take care of Jonah. And not thinking through logistics like Carlos would have. He is a very heart-first person. I was still surprised why they made the dialogue as it is because TK gives NO room for Carlos to weigh in. Yes, it could be clear to TK that he won't allow his brother to be raised by an institution and Carlos would likely agree. But to not even consider asking Carlos if he is okay with it? To take that agency from him? I don't think that's right and maybe we will disagree on that. It's a HUMAN BEING. And Jonah would deserve better than to have one of the men raising him not be in it 100%. That's the reason I don't want kids. I don't think it's fair t be wishy-washy about a child. "and he's looking for that support and its not there. Instead Carlos seems to be insisting TK live with him in that grief of Gabriel's death until he's ready to move on, the "and it always will be" line, and that's not fair either." -I don't think Carlos is insisting anything. I think the scene was too brief even to get into what Carlos wants more than it showed us what Carlos FEARS. He fears he wouldn't be able to raise a kid right now. And I think that has only partially to do with Gabriel's murder. Again, even in s4 he doesn't think he's ready. Give that man a minute to come to terms with maybe having to adopt, or lose TK. That's what it boils down to. Being in a crisis, dealing with trauma, and your life changing basically forever. You can logically support TK 100% but you can't deny how someone saying: "Hi babe we'll be dads now" isn't going to make you panic. Hell, someone dropping a dog in front of my door would make me panic. A full on child. AH. And TK didn't go about asking for support. He demanded it. He didn't allow another path. And Carlos in turn said: I don't know if I can cross that line for my own needs and sanity. Controversial opinion but even the best relationship would not make me cross certain boundaries and I don't think that should be the norm. TK said he accepted Carlos not wanting to be a father. The circumstances are so out of norm that he now brings it back up and has to be insistent. I just wish he would acknowledge that this is not something Carlos can do easily. I texted Mar that TK starting the dialogue off differently would have changed the entire thing for me. Like something similar to. ""I'm looking at adoption lawyers because Enzo wants to send him to a boarding school and I don't think I can watch that happen."" - Shows that TK is struggling with that himself at least. Still disregarding what Carlos would say but it leaves the door open just a little more to show a conflict and Carlos might have not felt as bulldozed. Others would surely write it even better. This is already so fucking long .... Feel like I would all get this out a lot better if I wrote a fic about it ngl. I'm so sorry if this is jumbled and messy. I promise you I take your words in good faith.

Speaking of phantomfield's writing though, I'd rather not have my HCs come off as just a carbon copy of their Nine post, so as opposed to writing Nine in the CF era, this will instead be for Nine post Dark War and before she got yeeted into the abyss. I'll try not to make it sad like I did with the Ragna post. This will unfortunately be shorter than the rest of my single character posts because I'm exhausted.

-It's...going to be a while before Nine is comfortable with intimacy in any capacity. She's spent so much of her life fighting now that she always has her guard up out of habit.

-It's a long road to the lowkey recovery from the trauma of a decade long war against a giant, world-ending, radioactive hydra, though once she does feel comfortable around you, her passion will burn as hot as her magic.

-It's not easy to get close to her, but those who manage it are in for life. She's quite overprotective of you not entirely unlike she is with Celica regardless of how good of a fighter you are. It's just in her nature.

-She is not one to shy away from PDA. She doesn't go out of her way to do it necessarily but if she just so happens to be in a doting mood she will not care who sees it. If anyone tries to reprimand her for it they will promptly be shut up with a glare from Nine as her hand lights on fire.

-Nine's family and friends are more important to her than anything else. She wants nothing more than for you all to get along, which considering who they are should be simple enough.

-Unfortunately get-togethers with everyone can't really happen considering how busy everyone is, especially her. Whenever the two of you finally can spend some time together she learns to treasure it.

-Of course this naturally soon escalates into the want to have a kid, especially after you get married. Your honeymoon is spent in bed for the most part...

-Nine is surprisingly traditional in her love/family values. She wants the idealistic happy ending that most people dream of. Get married, settle down, have a child, or children if the both of you feel so inclined. It's way more wholesome than initially expected from someone like her but it's certainly not unwelcome.

Notes/Warnings: General angst, recovery from torture, etc. Omega has MASSIVE survivor's guilt.

Omega screamed. Emerie and the TKs took a step back, reeling at the cry of pain from such a small girl.

Hemlock sighed, and pushed Omega away, towards Emerie. Hemlock listed off instructions as if nothing had happened, but Omega couldn't hear them. Her heart was breathing fast, too fast, like Hunter's had. She couldn't hear anything, but as Emerie tugged on her arm, Omega realized that they were trying to take her away.

"Let go of me!”

"We're taking you back to your cell-" Emerie tried to say, as if that was supposed to make Omega more cooperative.

Omega screamed again, like a toddler throwing a tantrum. She pulled her arm from Emerie's grasp and tried to make a break for Hunter, but Emerie looped her arms around Omega's waist, dragging her towards the door.

“I thought you were my friend!” Omega cried, beating her fists against Emerie's ribs.

"I am!" she hissed, and the woman who was supposed to be Omega's sister ripped her away from Hunter's side, "If you and your friends simply did as the Doctor asked, you wouldn't be in this mess!"

"I don't want to do as he says!" Omega screamed. She kicked Emerie's shin, and stomped her foot, digging her foot into Emerie's insole. Emerie gasped at the pain and Omega slipped from her grasp, running back to Hunter.

"Hunter! Hunter wake up!" she screamed. She shook him once, twice, and tugged at his restraints. She managed to undo the buckle around his wrist, before two troopers took over for Emerie. They yanked her away from her brother without ceremony, tossing her over their shoulder as they carried her from the room, so that her last view of Hunter would be him laid before Hemlock on a medical table.

Omega was flung into her cell as limp and as heavy as a whaladon out of water. Crosshair hissed between his teeth, but he didn’t say anything until long after the guards were gone.

"Psst, Kid, you okay?"

It must have been the fact that she wasn't moving that struck fear in his tone. Crosshair wasn't usually concerned with her.

Omega didn't care. How was she supposed to have the energy to care when Hunter was dead?

She whimpered, and a few sobs came out, but that was it. She heard Crosshair shuffling around in his cell a few moments later when she didn't answer.

What would she even say to him anyway? "Hunter came to rescue you after all this time but I got him killed! Sorry Cross!" Omega sobbed again.

It was her fault. All her fault.

Out of nowhere, alarms began to wail, echoing through the Mountain. Omega flinched, curling in on herself. She didn’t care anymore. How could she? What else mattered in life if her brothers were dead?

She could see the glee in Hemlock’s eyes as she tried to keep her own squeezed shut. It was her fault they kept dying. Tech died because she wanted to save Crosshair so badly, and now Hunter was dead because he’d tried to save her. How many more of her brothers would have to die because of her?

“Omega?”

Her ears were playing tricks on her. She’d inhaled too many of the fumes from the Bavo-six. The voice sounded just like Hunter’s, but not like him at the same time. It was too gruff, too stern.

“Omega! Crosshair!” More voices, getting closer, but Omega refused to look up. They blended together in a crescendo right outside her cell, and Omega pulled her knees closer, trying not to let them hear her sniffle.

“Cross! You're here! "

"Is she-”

“No, she’s alive.”

“They dropped her in there a while ago. She hasn’t said anything.”

“Omega! It’s us! We’re breakin’ ya out!”

There was the tiny twitch in the air and the red light vanished from the edge of her vision that meant the shield door was down. A large hand covered her shoulder and gave her a meaningful nudge.

“Omega?” Wrecker sounded so scared, so worried, she had to look up at him.

There he stood, crouched over her with his skull-faced bucket balanced on top of his head just so. As she blinked up at him, a smile grew across his face, and his eyes crinkled in delight.

“Heya kid, it’s time to go.”

“Wrecker,” She gasped, and threw her arms around him. He had never felt so real, from the chuckle in his throat and the scar pressed against her cheek and the faint scent of Mantell Mix on his breath. Wrecker swept her up into his arms and carried her out of the cell into the hall, where Echo placed a hand on her knee, reassuring her that he was close. Other voices, the steady thrum of brothers talking in hushed, nervous voices echoed beneath the blaring of alarms. Safety’s clicked, and blaster packs were clipped into place as weapons were handed out by Echo and Rex’s clone unit. They were the only ones wearing armor, a mix of dull white and the bright paints that signified freedom and safety.

“Heya kid!” Gregor popped out of nowhere, grinning at Omega with a wave like nothing was wrong. Omega waved at him before she could even think about it, still wrapped up in Wrecker’s secure hold. She couldn’t help the way her legs wrapped as far around his waist as they could go, just for the extra security.

“You haven’t met Wolffe, haveya?” the yellow paint on Gregor’s armor was a bright contrast to the gray animalistic prints on the new clone he was introducing.

“Commander of the Wolfpack! Fiercest men in the Grand Army of the Republic!”

Wolfe shrugged off Gregor’s arms, “Formerly.” He reminded Gregor with a bitter tone.

The proportions of Gregor’s shoulderpads looked a little goofy, but they also reminded Omega of Hunter’s shoulderpads. Wrecker always liked to joke that he was trying to make up for his lack of height.

Omega hid her face in Wrecker’s shoulder as the tears began to sting.

“Where are the other cells?” Echo asked.

“The floor above us and the floor below are the only two that are still occupied,” Crosshair said grimly, “Everyone else is gone.”

The hum of voices took a sharp dip, like everyone was waiting for orders.

“Wolffe, Gregor, take the lower floor. We’ll take the next one,” Echo drew his blaster as Omega gave an embarrassingly loud sniff.

“Omega, are you okay?” Echo asked.

"Huh-Hunter," Omega sobbed, her nails grating at the plastoid of Wrecker's armor. She couldn't help but think about how much the noise always annoyed Hunter.

"It's okay, ad'ika," Wrecker gently patted her back, "You're safe now."

Omega shook her head vigorously. "Hunter's dead."

“Oh,” Echo said softly. He walked around to Wrecker’s shoulder so that he could look at Omega, slipping his helmet under his arm.

“Omega, Hunter’s not dead.”

“Yes he is!” Omega screamed, “He came and he tried to save us but we got caught and Hemlock tortured him and he died! And I couldn’t even do anything about it!”

The silence in the wake of Omega’s explanation was suffocating. She was pretty sure that it was only Wrecker, Crosshair, and Echo left with her as the rest of the clones tried to finish their mission.

“Omega, you have to trust me,” Echo said, though his voice was uncertain, “This is all part of the plan. We stole a v-wing, so when Hunter landed in the hangar, it planted a bug that took down Tantiss’ security. So while Hemlock was interrogating Hunter, he was distracted from the rest of us coming out of hyperspace so we could mount the real rescue.”

Omega had a very childish glob of snot leaking out of her nose, and she tried to wipe it away with her shirt sleeve, “But…but Hemlock killed him. I saw…I saw his heartbeat flatline.”

“Now that there’s a neat little trick!” Wrecker bounced her in his arms to help her sit up, “We got the idea from Wolffe. See, he managed to convince his CO he was dead by taking this pill from Felucia that slows down your heartbeat, and that’s how he escaped the Empire!”

Omega blinked through her thick tears. “...what?”

“Hunter’s gonna be alright,” Echo said, “He’ll meet us at the Marauder once all our brothers are free.”

Omega’s chest untwisted a little.

It was going to be okay.

Hunter's head pounded.

But he was alive, and that was all that mattered.

He was still strapped to the examination table. It smelled of sweat, blood, and tears from a thousand brothers, and Hunter felt sick. He wanted to be sick, but he couldn't let himself go just yet.

Omega, he had to find Omega. She was never going to forgive him for dying on her, and he had to make it up to her as quickly as possible.

Hunter opened his eyes to look around. There appeared to be no one else in the vicinity, but Hemlock stood in front of several data screens with his comms, yelling about the clones. Hunter could see streams of identical men on the screens before Hemlock, jumping the TKs and stealing their blasters, destroying precious machinery and making their way to the hangar bay, where dozens of V-Wing fighters were all on fire.

One of his hands was unrestrained, so carefully, Hunter reached up and released the belt on his forehead, his other wrist, and his ankles. His comm, knife, and blasters were just within arms reach, on the table scattered with a hundred operation tools. He gave himself a quick once-over, and was relieved to find that it appeared Hemlock hadn't used any of the ominous tools on him.

His comm silently flashed with the number four, the signal from Echo and Rex that Hunter was clear to proceed with the fourth phase of their plan.

Hemlock paced, yelling into his comm. He didn't notice Hunter as he sat up and reached for his blaster.

"You wanna know where my brothers are, you bastard?"

Hemlock froze, his head whipped around to spot Hunter with his blaster aimed at him.

"They're about to rain hell all over your precious secret lab."

Hunter fired his blaster, but the effects from the shock therapy still had him in a stranglehold. Hemlock dodged easily and sprinted for the door.

"Get the girl!" he barked at his men. The door shut behind him, and Hunter staggered to his feet.

The girl. His girl. They could only mean Omega. Snatching up his knife, Hunter lunged for the door with a snarl, using his vibroblade to carve the security mechanism from the wall.

The doors opened, deactivated, and a single TK stared at him, stunned. Hunter blaster him without a second thought.

They were going after Omega, and he wouldn't let that go unpunished any longer.

this is kind of a missive to everyone who ordered but: I am very nervous about pre-orders whenever I do them... nervous that not very many people will order, nervous that there will be supply chain or production dilemmas and I won't be able to get copies out to people in a timely fashion, nervous about having people's money but having an indeterminate amt of time where i have not yet "held up my part of the bargain" etc etc SO. @seanonthemoon (idk why i cant tag u BUT) interesting... i gotta be honest I don't think abt the crests that much. i agree that they're very much like heres the "girl" crest heres the "nerd boy" crest etc to the point that it becomes almost meaningless. but i think what makes them even more meaningless to me, and is probably the reason they kind of designated girl/boy crests etc is that i think like the digivices they're toys and merchandise more than they are actual narrative tools LOL. I wouldve loved something with cody and mimi! theyre both so deeply empathetic and sensitive.. theres a lot they share but i think because they look so different on the surface it would make it difficult to market that merch...booo capitalism boooo toy marketing its all sexist bullshit at least here in the u.s. idk if japan is that different though.

I'm actually a little frustrated with how often 02 and 02 related media squanders cody in general lol. he feels like a parallel of izzy, joe, and TK(season 1 tk) while also being kind of none of those and suffering through lackluster characterization as a result... and then once ken joins the team it feels a little redundant. there's a couple cody-centric eps of 02 I remember really liking but then i think abt how he's been used since in like post-series content and 02:the beginning where they made him type on the computer even though obviously that's yoleis thing but because he had nothing else to do and aghh... my blood boils. i feel like the youngest but most serious anime achetype even at its bare bones is actually rly interesting idk why they don't play it up. UM. Once again my opinion is that he should be taller LOL and maybe they should play up his kendo martial arts honorable training stuff more idk. tallest + youngest + most serious just seems like a recipe for success for me. well. theres still time. and theres always fanfic.

THIS IS SO NICE TO SAY and not the first time someone has said it but i appreciate it everytime because i really admire the mm art style so much. It's like part of why I got really into the movie because I really recognized my own artistic sensibilities and aspirations in the way they stylized everything.

UM And i feel like since watching the movie and looking at all the concept art and making my own art i do feel like its only become more obvious how much my own art is lacking LOL LIKE when you see something that feels so similar I think the differences only become more stark. those artists are definitely on a different level than me. But it's nice to hear people say it doesn't look so different from their pov. thank u ^^

DLKGDSGDLALSNDF WAS IT TOO FAR..?? firstly, yeah I was thinking late teen/young adult ages for both of them ie 18-19ish, definitely not the age the kids are in the movie lol.

but also they arent DOING anything in that pic it is literally just a confrontation + some innuendo... I think teens should be allowed some less than subtle innuendo.. its like one of the top 3 classically teen pastimes...

this is such a funny ask to get because i feel like i haven't been able to do thin lineart until like. this past year or two maybe LOL. UM having a line-centric art job helped I think. I started on craig of the creek back in 2022 and thats a show where we spend a lot of time inking so I had a job where I was constantly moderating my line weight 40 hours a week every week for over a year. disappointingly, much of improvement is simply horrendous amounts of practice.

Here's a tip though: I think a lot of thin lineart boils down to confidence. I think instinctively we read thick, bold, fast lines as confident but theres actually a lot of obscuring you can do with a thick line. if you're not sure whether the nose on the face or a browline should be a little more left or a little more down you can hide that with a thick line and pretend its a shadow. or hide it with a bunch of quick lines and the eye can kind of approximate where looks best among the mass.. whereas a thin line is rly singular and stark and hides nothing, it needs to be precise. so anytime i know i want thin lineart i spend a LOT of time sketching, making sure i know exactly where i want my lines to go. so im not second guessing by the time im inking...

ok thats kind of a broad tip lol... here's one thats more applicable: IF POSSIBLE, lower your pressure sensitivity on your device. most devices have some way to edit your pressure sensitivity curve. I use a surface pro at home and this is what my pressure curve looks like most of the time.

When I work on a wacom it looks even more like a reverse L shape LOL. I'm naturally a really heavy-handed artist and I use a "light" or "hard" pressure curve to compensate for how hard I'm always pressing on the pen lol. if you're like me and you struggle with going too hard with the ink too fast... this will probably help a lot!

SFHASLDFH I LOVE THIS ASK this is like the type of question a person gets asked when chalk drawing on the sidewalk at recess LOL. but i understand because I've been struggling also for like. months. I think I'm finally starting to nail it down though so here's some of my observations.

[feel free to save this img but **please do not re-post it or share broadly**. my biggest fear in the world is to spend 30 min on some notes and become a widely proliferated art tutorial im not even kidding. i made it low contrast and difficult to read on purpose.]

my other tip is to just look at and study a lot of reference because that's all ive been doing. the tmnt are really cartoony so its difficult to use like actual anatomical reference unless ur going for that look BUT theres been so many adaptions in so many different styles that there's a real treasure trove of stuff to look at for how to simplify, stylize, and dissect these characters while keeping the recognizable essence. so theres lots to pull from.

If you want to expand further, it's also good to have 5) something sci-fi 6)something fantasy 7)something mundane/slice of life. a bedroom is a really good go-to. And of course some bgs can be two or more of these things at once.

I've definitely answered asks abt bg tips before but here's one specifically for if you want to do bg design for a job:

Your portfolio should probably have at least one of each of the following 1) an interior 2) an exterior 3) a cityscape 4) a nature scene. Just to cover kind of the basics of what you'd be asked to draw on any given project.

I actually feel like I don't have that many cityscrapes in my portfolio... this is something I'm gonna try to work on in the coming year LOL. OH ALSO. This is a very basic tip and people will tell you it all the time but its worth repeating: look up portfolio websites of artists who have the job you want. An easy way to do this is to go onto imdb for any cartoon or movie you like and to find the names listed as "bg/background designer" or whatever then just google that name +"art" or "animation" most artists have some public facing internet presence so it's not hard. spend time studying their work and hold those images in your head! it's a good way to get a good idea of what "industry standard" looks like and comparing ur own art to it... I know people sometimes get bummed comparing their art to others but if you can keep your head up lol.. it'll help you figure out what you need to work on!
