A Legend
Tracy could feel himself getting jittery, his nerves building up while he waited for his first customer.  He had never worked for a rideshare company before, but he was desperate for money. A guy could only go off of plasma donations for so long after college graduation, and without job offers piling up, Tracy deemed a temporary solution necessary. But now Tracy felt like everything was constricting; the small space inside his Prius, the oversized sweater he was wearing, his favorite pop divas singing from the stereo. He prayed that he would not have to talk much, wishing to be silent like those taxi drivers in every other movie set in New York.
Taking a deep breath, Tracy heard the back door swing open and shut. Questions immediately flooded his head. Did he miss any hairs when he shaved this morning? Did he remove that pesky pimple patch? Ignoring the battering thoughts and turning around, Tracy found a muscular jock spread across the entire back seating area.
“Are you Tracy?” the attractive customer asked, a bit confused. Despite being a couple of years younger than Tracy, the jock held a certain level of arrogance. This display of superiority intimidated Tracy and embarrassingly, turned him on a bit.
“I’m going to assume yes.” The jock asserted after waiting a moment longer. He then stuck out his hand with a smile. “Michael, in case it wasn’t obvious.”
Tracy’s eyes dashed between his phone and the handsome young man before him. “Oh uh…yeah,” the words spilled out clumsily as he took his hand.
“You’re new to this, aren’t you?” Michael questioned.
Tracy took a moment to respond, “Sorry, um I kinda am.”
“No worries, man,” Tracy caught Michael’s smirk in the rearview mirror. “But with a name like ‘Tracy,’ I was expecting a chick or something.”
Tracy blushed. “It was my grandfather’s name…” Trying his best to recover, he opted for a joke. “At least I didn’t get stuck with something worse, right?” Although his voice had come out a little tight, the attempt made the cut, as confirmed by Michael’s light chuckle.
“I guess,” Michael agreed. “But that’s why you go by Trace, right? Funny how that simple letter change can make you a whole lot manlier.”
“Hmm?” Having turned on the ignition and left the parking lot, Tracy was now juggling both driving and providing conversation. It was not a difficult task, but he found himself adjusting the stereo to better concentrate on the two tasks at hand.
“I mean you’ve been going by Trace since what, middle school?” Michael attempted to confirm.
Trace found himself a bit lost. “Why…how did you know that?”
Michael’s face broke out into a charming grin. “Stop being so timid, man. You’re a legend at the university! Even if you graduated a few years ago, your fame is still alive and well.”
Trace found himself a bit stunned. “Thanks…?”
“Don’t be so humble, bro” Michael frowned. “Everyone knows you were the star of the football team back in the day. The boys won’t shut up about you.”
“‘The boys’?” Trace asked curiously.
“Yeah! ‘Trace was always committed to the team.’ ‘Trace was the epitome of masculinity.’ ‘Trace was…’, well, you get the idea.” Michael scratched idly at his pec before continuing. Tracy absentmindedly did the same to his own bulky counterparts. “Those guys look up to you! And by the looks of it, you hold up to your own legend.”
“I try to,” Trace smiled back, confidence creeping into his voice. Taking a wide turn, Trace could feel his thick forearm flexing while rotating the wheel, his bicep testing the limits of the tight athletic shirt’s fabric. Trace took a moment to examine himself in the rearview mirror. His stubble was on point, accenting his lantern-like jaw appropriately. His whole face in fact was quite macho.
“Checking yourself out, big man?” Michael caught Trace red-handed. The remark made Trace’s legs bloat a bit larger, forcing them further apart. “I’m surprised a guy with your height can even fit in this rust-bucket.”
“You could argue the Fusion was meant for a 6’3 man,” Trace chuckled, his vocal chords a bit deeper. “But yeah once I get enough money, I’m getting a real, All-American truck.”
“Ah, so that’s what this side gig is for,” Michael nodded. “I was guessing it was a side hustle for the ladies.”
“What do you mean?” Trace turned the volume up slightly, the country music twanging a smidge heavier throughout the car.
“Isn't this just a stint to pick women up, double entendre intended? It's the other thing the guys are always talking about,” Michael commented. “‘Trace was always a lady killer.’ ‘Trace never pulled out.’ ‘Trace’s hit list was longer than anyone else’s.’”
Trace sat silent, turning into the destination’s parking lot.  “Is that part of the legend no longer true?” Michael pushed.
Once Trace found an open spot to station his car, he responded. “Oh it’s true,” he confirmed proudly. “In fact, you can tell the boys the number has doubled since graduation.”
Michael’s face copied Trace’s own cocky smirk. “I'll be happy to report that back. I’ll see you around then, man!”
Trace watched through the rearview mirror as Michael hopped out of the car. He then scanned his phone to find his next customer. Trace’s thick fingers automatically drifted to the “Female, 18-25” range, searching for someone to give a ride too, double entendre intended.

Bartender reader :) reader and Rafe get in a fight and it’s a big one (while they are living together) and reader needs some space and decides to sleep on the couch/guest bedroom but Rafe completely forgets about the fight once he realizes what she’s doing and puts his foot down “you can be mad but you’re still sleeping in this bed” kinda deal?
i feel like their fights never last bc they can't be away from each other that long and bc they're just too disgustingly in love🙂‍↔️ thank you for the request!🤎
i would never do you wrong- r.c
pairing: rafe x pogue!reader (bartender!reader universe) warnings: a little angst at first, but happy ending obviously.

You were sitting on the edge of the bed, your hands gripping your phone a little too tight. The conversation you had been having for the past hour felt like running headfirst into a brick wall—no, arguing with a brick wall.
“I don’t see why this is such a big deal,” Rafe groaned, like a toddler, running a hand through his messy hair. “You’ve been working nonstop. You deserve a break.”
“A break?” You scoffed, shaking your head in disbelief. “Baby, I just got promoted. I can’t take time off like that.”
“You’re acting like this job will disappear if you take a week off. I’ve already planned the trip, I’ve already talked to Ward. You don’t even have to worry about money—”
“That’s not the point!” You cut him off, standing now, your body vibrating with frustration. “You don’t get it! This promotion means everything to me. I worked my ass off for it. And now you’re telling me to throw that away for a vacation?
“I’m not telling you to throw anything away, baby. God, you make it sound like I’m asking you to quit.” Rafe crossed his arms, his brow furrowed, and looked at you like you were the unreasonable one, like you'd just insulted him. “It’s just one week. We can afford to relax.”
“Yeah and what about the wedding? If we’re gonna pay for it, we gotta save up.”
He let out an incredulous laugh, his head shaking like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “You do remember I’m rich, right?”
You blinked, stunned. “Seriously? That’s your solution? Just throw money at it?”
He sighed, rubbing his temples. “That’s not what I meant. I can pay for the wedding,” he interrupted, stopping in his tracks. “You’re forgetting I have more than enough money to take care of both of us.”
You closed your eyes for a second, breathing deeply. “I don’t want you to pay for it all.” You were pacing now, “It sounds like you think we can just forget about budgeting and responsibilities because you’ve got a trust fund.”
Rafe threw his hands up, exasperated. “I’m just saying we can afford to take some time for ourselves. You don’t need to stress over every little thing.”
You stopped in your tracks, turning sharply to face him. “I’m not ‘stressing over every little thing,’ Rafe. I’m being realistic. We have a wedding to plan. We’ve got bills. I’ve got my career to think about. And no, I don’t want your dad’s money involved in any of that.”
“We have an entire year to save up,” He stared at you, a steely glint in his eyes. “So what? You’re just gonna run yourself into the ground? Burn out completely?”
Your jaw clenched as you swallowed the lump in your throat. “I’m doing what I need to do. I’ve always done that.”
“And I’ve always been here to help you. But it’s like you don’t even want it.”
“That’s not what this is about,” you argued, stepping closer to him now. “I don’t want to be dependent on that money. I don’t want us to start our marriage with me feeling like I’m just along for the ride.”
Rafe’s face hardened, his lips pressing into a thin, flat line. “So what? You think I’m trying to make you feel small? Like you can’t handle your shit?”
“No. I just want to build something with you. With you, Rafe, not because of Ward’s money.”
He looked away as he pressed his tongue against the inside of his cheek, the muscle moving under his skin as he swallowed whatever hot-headed thing you knew he felt like saying. Then, with a frustrated exhale, he said, “It’s not like I wanted to rely on him either. But I’m trying to make things easier for us.”
“And I appreciate that, I do.” You sighed, taking a breath. “But this promotion... it’s my chance to prove myself. I want to know that I earned everything we have. Not that it came from someone else’s checkbook.”
Rafe’s eyes moved to yours, and you could see the tension still there. He slowly let out a long breath. The air hissed softly between his teeth as his chest fell, shoulders sagging “You’re so fucking stubborn.”
“I learned from the best,” you shot back, crossing your arms.
He let out a bitter chuckle, it didn’t hold any joy. “I’m not trying to control everything. I just want to make sure we have time for us before everything else gets in the way.”
You nodded, “I know. But you can’t just expect me to drop everything and go on vacation because you’ve already decided it.”
“I thought you’d want to spend time with me,” he argued, “I’m trying to make time for us, and you’re treating it like it’s a problem.”
You sighed for what it felt like the millionth time that night, rubbing your temples. “It’s not that, baby. I want to be with you. You know that. But I can’t ignore everything else that’s going on.”
He was silent for a moment, his eyes scanning your face like he was trying to find the right thing to say. Finally, he muttered, “Fine. If you don’t want to take the time off, then don’t.”
You blinked at him, taken aback. “That’s not what I meant.”
“You’re making it seem like I’m asking for something ridiculous.”
You scoffed, frustration taking over again.
“Because to me, it is ridiculous! You don’t get it. You don’t have to think about whether you can afford to take time off, but I do. You’ve never had to think about that stuff.”
His face tightened, jaw clenching as he stared at you like he was trying to stay calm. “And that’s why I’m telling you, you don’t have to worry about it. I’ve got us covered. You’re acting like I’m trying to sabotage your career.”
“You’re not listening to me! This promotion isn’t just a paycheck, it’s everything I’ve worked for. I’ve spent years proving I’m good enough, and now you’re asking me to step back like it’s no big deal.”
Rafe crossed his arms, his posture stiff, defensive. “I’m asking for one week. One. Fucking. Week. You act like the world’s gonna end if you take some time for yourself.”
“Because for me, it doesn’t stop! You don’t understand what it’s like—”
He cut you off again, you hated when he did it. “Don’t. Don’t stand there and tell me I don’t understand. You think I don’t get what it’s like to have shit on the line? I’ve been under pressure my whole life.”
You flinched at his words, your eyes narrowing. “This is different. I’ve always had to make sure I could take care of myself.”
His laugh was bitter, almost sarcastic. “Is that what you think this is? You’re my fiancé.”
You frowned, feeling the hurt in his words, but you couldn’t let it go. “I just don’t want to feel like I’m in your shadow, like I’m always gonna be ‘Rafe’s wife’ instead of my own person.”
“Jesus fucking Christ.” He ran a hand through his hair, pacing now. “It’s not like that. You know it’s not like that.”
“Then what is it like?” you snapped, the words spilling out before you could stop them. “Because every time we talk about this, you make it sound like money is the solution to everything. Like we can just throw cash at our problems and they’ll disappear.”
He stopped pacing, turning to face you, his expression darkening. “Because it fucking helps, okay?”
You pinched your eyes closed, “I’m just trying to make sure I don’t lose myself in all of this.”
He let out a harsh breath, his shoulders tense. “Lose yourself? You think I’m trying to take that from you?”
“No,” you whispered, wiping at your eyes. “But it feels like you don’t get why this is so important to me.”
“Are you serious right now?” he cut you off. “You know what, do whatever you want. I’ll just cancel the trip.”
“Rafe—”
“Forget it,” he said, already turning away, heading for the door. “Goodnight.”
He didn't even slam the door.
You sat down on the bed, your head in your hands, trying to calm down. You glance at your phone, thinking about texting him, apologizing maybe. But you weren’t ready for that yet. You needed space. You needed to breathe. You needed to get out of your own head, even just for a little while. You couldn’t stand being in the same room after that argument.
Without thinking much more about it, you grabbed your pillow and the spare blanket from the closet, making your way toward the living bedroom. The couch in there wasn’t as comfortable or as big, but it would give you the distance you needed for the time being. You were pulling back the covers when you heard your bedroom door creak open. You didn’t have to turn around to know it was him.
He couldn't stay away longer than five minutes.
“Really?” His voice was low, almost disbelieving. “You’re gonna sleep in here?”
You stayed facing the bed, not turning to look at him. “I can’t do this right now.”
There was a pause, and then you heard him step closer. “No. That’s not how we’re doing this.”
You frowned, glancing back at him over your shoulder. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, you can be pissed at me. You can need space, fine. But you’re not sleeping in here.” His voice was firm, and when you finally turned to look at him, his blue eyes were locked on yours, unwavering.
“Rafe—”
“I’m serious, baby." He moved closer, gently pulling the blanket from your hands. “You’re mad. I get it. But you’re still sleeping in our bed.”
You shook your head, trying to push the blanket back toward him. “I just—”
“No.” His voice softened, but he was still insistent. “I’m not letting you run away from me. We’ll deal with it. But we’re not doing this. You’re not sleeping alone.”
You looked at him and saw the same tiredness, the same frustration, in his face. He held your gaze for a moment longer before reaching out, and taking your hand in his.
“Come on. You belong in our bed.”
There was no fight left in you as you let him pull you back down the hall, back into the warmth of your shared space. As you settled beside him, Rafe reached over, his hand finding yours under the blankets, he traced small, absent patterns on the back of your hand, like you weren’t fighting just ten minutes ago.
He sighed, his thumb brushing over your knuckles. “You don’t have to prove anything to me. I already know you’re capable of handling anything.”
“It’s not about proving it to you,” you admitted, “It’s about proving it to myself. I need to know that no matter what happens—good or bad—I’ve earned it. That I deserve it.”
Rafe was quiet for a couple seconds, his eyes stuck on the ceiling. Then, his grip on your hand tightened slightly,  “I hate this,” he muttered finally.
You turned your head to look at him, “Hate what?”
“This.” He gestured between the two of you with his free hand. “Fighting like this. Making you feel like I’m pulling you in two different directions. Like you have to choose.”
You blinked, caught off guard. “You’re not making me choose. I just, I want to build something for myself.”
He let out a sharp breath, shaking his head.
“You think I don’t get that? You think I’m just some spoiled asshole who’s never had to work for anything?” He rolled onto his side, propping himself up on his elbow to look at you more directly. “But I do get it. That’s why I’m trying so hard to be what you need me to be.”
Your heart twisted at the look on his face. He reached up, brushing a stray lock of hair away from your face.
“Every time I look at you,” he murmured, his gaze softening, “I see everything you’ve done to get here. Everything you’ve pushed through. And it kills me, because I feel like I’ve just been dead weight. You spent months holding me together when I was falling apart. I could barely get out of bed some days baby, and you were there, making sure I was eating, making sure I was taking my meds, making sure I didn’t—I know how much you gave up for me.”
“Baby, stop,” you mumbled, the hurt in your chest almost unbearable. It hadn't been easy, but you didn't regret a single thing, wouldn't change anything. You'd do it all over again if you had to.
“No.” His voice was firm, “I hate that I put you through that. That I made you carry all that weight when you should’ve been focusing on yourself, your career. Hell, I wasn’t even there for you when you got promoted, because I was too busy trying to keep my shit together. And now I want to make up for that.”
You reached up, cupping his cheek, feeling the way his jaw unclenched under your touch. “You don’t have to make up for anything. You were going through something, and I wanted to be there for you.”
“I know you did,” he said softly, “But that’s why I’m doing this. I’m trying to be the guy you deserve—the guy who makes things easier for you, who makes you feel like you can breathe again.” He shook his head, teasing just a little, “But every time I try, it feels like I’m just reminding you of all the ways I’ve let you down.”
You blinked back the sudden tears. “You haven’t let me down. I need to find a balance. Between us and—” You gestured vaguely around you, trying to explain everything you were feeling. “And everything else.”
“I get that,” he murmured, leaning in closer until his forehead rested against yours. “But I also need you to let me in. Let me help you. Not because I want to throw money at it, but because I love you, and I want to see you happy. Not burnt out and exhausted.”
His voice broke a little on the last word, and you felt your initial stubbornness crumbling. “I know,” You squeezed your eyes shut, “I know. I just don’t want to lose everything I’ve been working for. I don’t want to get so wrapped up in us that I forget who I am outside of this.”
Rafe let out a shaky breath, his fingers brushing along your jaw.
“You’re not going to lose yourself, okay? Not with me. You’re always going to be you. Even when you’re stressed and stubborn and driving me up the wall.” His lips quirked in a small, sad smile. “I’ll still be here. I just want to have a little time with you before life pulls us in a million directions again.”
You leaned into him, pressing your face against his chest, breathing in the familiar scent of him. He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close, his chin resting on top of your head. It wasn’t that you didn’t want his help. You just needed to do this one thing for youself. You moved closer to him, resting your head against his shoulder.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered earnestly, “I didn’t mean to make it sound like I don’t want to spend time with you. I do. It’s just hard to balance everything.”
You didn’t want to fight anymore. You wanted to figure it out. You wanted to compromise, because that's what you two always did.
“I’ll take the time off,” You felt him move beside you, his eyes on you now, curious but cautious. “But… I need a little time. Can we plan the trip for a couple of months from now? Once things settle down with work?”
He pulled back just enough to look down at you, his eyes searching your face. “You’d do that?”
You nodded, lifting your head. “I know I’ve been all over the place about this, but I get that we need time together. I just can’t drop everything right now. But in two months, I’ll be ready. We can go wherever you want.”
A slow smile tugged at the corners of his lips. He shifted onto his side, brushing a strand of hair away from your face. “You mean it?”
“I mean it,” you said, smiling back at him. “We’ll go. No work emails, no distractions. Just us.”
He let out a breath he’d been holding, his fingers tracing along your jaw. “Two months, huh?”
You looked up at him, rolling your eyes lightly. “Yes, two months. And I’m going to hold that ‘no work emails’ rule, for you too.”
He chuckled, his lips curving into a genuine smile this time. “I figured.”
You swat at his chest lightly. “I’m serious. I want this trip to be for us. I need it to be something that we’re both looking forward to—not just you dragging me away because you think I’m overworking.”
“I know. I promise when we do go, it’ll be perfect. Wherever you want. No distractions.”
“Good,” you whispered, resting your head back on his shoulder. You listened to the rhythm of his heartbeat, feeling the rise and fall of his chest. This was the peace after the storm, the moment when everything felt like it was falling into place again.
Rafe’s hand gently traced patterns on your arm, and he pressed a soft kiss to your head, “I’m proud of you. For everything. The promotion, the way you’ve been handling all of this. I’m proud to call you mine.”
Your heart squeezed at his words, and you tilted your head up to meet his gaze. “Thank you, baby,” you murmured. “That means more to me than you know.”
He smiled, “Just don’t ever think you have to choose between me and your dreams, okay? I want you to have it all. I want us to have it all.”
You nodded, the last of your resistance melting away. “I know. And I want us to have it all, too. Together.”
His arms tightened around you, pulling you closer, “Good,” he murmured, his breath warm against your hair. “’Cause I’m not going anywhere, and neither are you.”

Yandere Hitman // Accident
Tumblr media
Imagine you wake up tied to a chair ducktape over your mouth and the weight of gravity weighing on your chest. Finally gaining your bearings you realize you are haphazardly hanging from a rickety-looking bridge above a raging river by a man in a black compression shirt a bored look on his face and a phone to his ear. You don’t try to struggle only watching wide-eyed as you hope this Hitman doesn’t drop you
“Really…the wrong one? Fine, I’ll figure it out.”
Breathing is so much easier when he pulls you from the edge with one hand by the way. He doesn’t untie you sighing exasperatedly while running a hand through his hair. Finally, he takes the ducktape off your mouth waving off your barrage of questions.
“Look things happened and I was supposed to kill someone who looks a lot like you but not.”
“So you're a hitman and you made a mistake?”
“Yup.”
“Are you going to kill me for knowing you then?”
“I don’t have to.”
“Then can I go home?”
“Er no.”
“Because I’m going to talk?”
“No more like you wouldn’t be able to get into the country anyway.”
Turns out the hitman who happened to target you was incredibly too thorough and ended up burning your ID, crafting up a reasonable missing persons case for you, and making it hard for you to do anything in the country that you can’t properly even find on a map. So to combat the absolute mess of having to go through all the legalese and interrogation you’d go through to get back to your life he comes up with his solution.
“How about you just stay with me? I’ve got more than enough room.”
And he does. It's a place that’s like a small castle, he reasons it’s best that you just help clean the place and maybe make a meal or two. You accept not that you had any other choice at this point so he’ll untie you and take you there. Wherever this backwater country is he’s got a home filled with villagers who are happy to care for it. And in a language you don’t recognize they celebrate it when he brings you home, cheering and excitedly holding your hands. He can’t help but laugh at you while you try to figure things out.
“Hey! What was she saying before?”
“You really shouldn’t just blindly nod to what people are saying. That’s what gets you in trouble.”
“What else am I supposed to do?! She was smiling so wide it must’ve been something nice, right?”
“Hahaha, you're hopelessly adorable.”
When this Hitman is not sitting around laughing at you or mistranslating your requests, he’s not so bad. As the only one who understands what you’re saying and can actually respond to you in a rewarding way. Dismissing that he ruined your everyday life, he’s decent company usually smirking to himself while he makes fun of whatever you're doing.
“That hat is way too big for you and so are your clothes. It’s kinda cute.”
“It’s not cute! For whatever reason nobody will give me anything other than your clothes it’s really inconvenient.”
“How do you know they're mine?”
“Because they smell like–”
“Awwww are you smelling me in your free time (Y/n)?”
“NO! Wait it’s just an observation—”
“Ewww so perverted (Y/n)~”
When he’s not around to mess with you, he’s off to work. Wearing those same tight-fitted pants he did when you first woke up. It’s…a little sad sometimes. He is the only one you can easily communicate with but you manage to enjoy the thousands of books he has in his home, hang out with the kittens of the farm, and slowly but surely get a grasp on the language all the villagers speak. Maybe one day you can surprise him by being able to call him out the next time he tries to humiliate you to the villagers. It certainly keeps you occupied from thinking about going home anytime soon.
“That’s another body in the ground. Where’s my money?”
The hitman once again casually dismembers another target for his client, taking a quick picture before hurrying to the store. You did say you were a fan of a certain gaming system, he’s got more than enough to spend now that he’s completed another job. Not that he really needed to that amount he had could very well pay for the entire lives of generations to come. That is if he hasn’t budgeted for a luxurious life with you.
“Mmm, which one should I get? Hmm?”
“Oh, are you interested in some of our AAA titles?”
“Not for me but for my partner….I’m just worried they’ll leave me and our kids out while playing.”
“Well if you like we have some lighthearted multiplayer games.”
“That’s perfect!”
He does plan as though you already have kids. He doesn’t need to know if you two will conceive with him or adopt but it doesn’t matter it’s happening. Because to him, you two are already bound to be happily married—all according to his plan. He’s just glad it’s going off so far without a hitch.
“Hi I’m back!”
“Welcome welcome hope everything went well for you chief!”
“How are their studies coming?”
“Decent but they’ll never fully be able to grasp the codes, just as you planned.”
“Perfect. (Y/n) they’re saying you should be the one to massage me this time.”
“What?! There is no way they said that.”
Your hitman’s greatest power is his nonchalant attitude. It’s what allows you to accept that it was his carelessness that led to you being targeted in the first place. It’s what have you not looking twice when ‘the villager’ demands you both feed each other. It might take a while before you fully become the you–he envisioned in his plans but he can wait.
After all your hitman’s waited this long. He doesn’t mind waiting a little more.
“Don’t think too much and let’s just let fate that I’ve chosen decide.”

11. 💙 QUID PRO QUO - k. bakugou
power imbalance, manipulation, coercion, forced blow job. this actually turned a little darker than i planned, so sorry! in fact, to be safe, i’m going to call this non-con.
@touyatodorokislut’s event ask!
Tumblr media
Doing this right behind the police station probably isn’t a great idea, but Bakugou can’t help himself, especially with the threat of never running into you again hanging over his head.
You’re so cute, still visibly shaken by the attempted villain attack that Bakugou had saved you from. He was only too happy to go to the station with you after all was said and done, give report to Tsukauchi while reassuring you that you were safe. It was all over.
Little did you know the plans he had for you. Or the hard on he’s been hiding since picking you up off the ground and carrying you to safety.
He can’t remember the last time he’d felt such a primal attraction to someone so quickly—without knowing anything about them. But something about you has him short of breath and hot all over.
So he ushers you into the alley after the report is written up, sweet talks you for a little bit, and then lowers his voice.
“That rescue was pretty taxing, ya know. Kinda feels like you owe me one.”
You laugh quietly, but Bakugou can tell you’re nervous. Whether it’s because of the attack or the dark or him looming over you, he’s not sure.
“Yeah, I don’t know what I would’ve done if you hadn’t shown up,” you admit. “If I could tip you for saving me I would, but…”
“You don’t gotta give me money,” he snickers.
“Well, I’m a pretty good cook!” you try. “I can drop off some food at your agency, make you and your sidekicks lunch for a few days?”
Fuck, you’re adorable. And naive. It makes Bakugou’s dick twitch.
“Nah, that’s okay. We all stay pretty well fed.”
You blink at him, apprehensive when you ask, “what… what can I do for you then? As a thank you…” He thinks you have a vague idea of where this might be going, so maybe you’re not as innocent as he thought.
“Nothing much. Just help me unwind after a long shift.”
You gulp. He smirks.
“I, um… I don’t really know what…”
Bakugou takes a step toward you, his voice all gravel when he suggests (more like commands), “how ‘bout you get on your knees for me?”
Your eyes are wide, a glimmer of fear lighting them up brighter than any of the street lamps.
“Come on, sweetheart. I’ll make it quick.”
“But, I—my boyfriend…”
“He doesn’t have to know. And remember… you owe me,” he grins, slowly beginning to unbuckle his belt.
Bottom lip trembling, you stare at him for a little longer as if you can change his mind with nothing more than a look, but when Bakugou doesn’t budge you nod to yourself, take your cardigan off to lay on the asphalt, then kneel on it. Smart. Your knees will be bruised, but at least they won’t be bloody.
You wet your lips when Bakugou pulls his throbbing cock free, and when he guides his tip into your waiting mouth he can feel that it’s dry with panic. Doesn’t matter. One sudden thrust just a little too deep makes you gag, saliva immediately pooling into your mouth.
“There we go, that’s a good pet.”
Tears are already gathering at your waterline, falling when Bakugou starts moving his hips. He puts a rough hand on the back of your head to hold you in place so that he can set his own pace. He alternates between shorter thrusts that make the ridge of his cock pop in and out of your lips, putting pressure just where he likes it, and fucking deep enough for his tip to slide into your tight throat.
You feel so good, muscles constricting when you gag on his length. Drool leaks from the corners of your mouth, dripping down your chin. The sound is what’s really getting him off, though, the lewd schlick schlick like music to Bakugou’s ears. In and out, in and out, harder, faster—he’s using both hands to hold your head now, hips pistoning as he feels the white heat growing inside of him.
“Feel so good, taking my cock like a pro,” he grunts. Pro is a loose term, though. You’re struggling just like everyone else does, shoulders heaving with gags every time he pushes in too deep. Your whole face is drenched now, spit and tears and Bakugou’s own pre he keeps wiping on your lips.
“M’about to cum,” he warns. “You gonna be good an’ swallow for me? Be my biggest fan, yeah?”
He holds your head tightly as he climaxes, groaning and shoving his cock deeper into your throat. He can feel you try to pull back, but he won’t let you, and he feels your throat tighten around him as you’re forced to swallow.
“Good, good, drink it all, baby.”
And, you do. Every last drop until Bakugou is spent. He pulls out of your mouth with a huff, falling back against the wall as you scramble to your feet.
After you wipe your face as best you can, you glare at him and spit, “do me a favor and never save me again.”

Summer was finally here, you took a sigh of relief as you stepped off your train. You’re finally home. College was nice, you made a lot of friends and you loved what you were studying but you missed home. As you open your door, your mom greets you with a big open and warm hug.
“I missed you soooo much!”
After smothering you, your mom helps you carry your bags into your bedroom. You stand there for a while taking it all in, you really did miss your room. You flop onto your bed and sniff in the scent of your sheets. A smile comes to your face. Your bedroom was in the front of the house, you got the view of all your neighbors and the street, the sun always shining in on it so you rarely closed your blinds. It wasn’t that much bigger than your dorm, your house had always been on the smaller side, but you didn’t care, it was home.
You hear some ruffling around in the hallway and your dog, Kally, comes to greet you.
“ Hi my good boy!” you give him a nice pat behind the ears, he looks up at you, tongue loped over to one side, panting, tail wagging.
“He missed you a lot too,” your mom says taking the last of your things into your room.
“Well honey, you just get settled in now and I will call you down when I’m finished with dinner” Your mom gives you a warm smile and kiss on the head and gently closes to door behind her, Kally following after her.
It doesn’t take long for you to finish unpacking your bags. You decide that you’ll help Mom with dinner so you head toward the kitchen. As you walk around your house you notice things missing. There is less decore, it seems more bare and dirty looking. Your mom’s favorite painting was missing.
“Mom, what happened to your painting? You loved that thing I thought it was your favorite?”
“Oh ya, I’m surprised you even noticed honey,” she looks a little sad and keeps her gaze on the boiling pot of water “I’ve been a little short on money lately, I just wanted to make sure that you were supported with college.”
Your eyes widen you know that your family had never been rich, it was just you and your mom after all, but you never thought that your mom would be this tight on money.
“Mom I’m so sorry I had no idea, I’ll get a job right away I can’t have you do this for me, I-I I'm so so so sorry, “ tears form in the corners of your eyes, your face starts to burn a bit.
“No honey it's ok,” she delicately wipes away the tears from your eyes and smiles at you “I wanted you to focus on your studies, you’ve been doing so well kiddo.”
You hug her and begin to chop some vegetables for dinner. You had no idea that your mom had been struggling this much. You were lost in thought as the knife slid across your finger, and beads of blood started to form. You wince a bit and quickly run in under the sink and quickly wrap a band-aid around it hoping not to alert or worry your mother. She is preoccupied with her task.
You place a fork and knife on top of paper napkins at the table making it look semi-neat and somewhat presentable. Your mother plates your food and you bring it to the table and wait for her to sit down for you to start eating.
“So have you met anyone yet sweetie..” I’m your mom asks you with a smug smirk on her face.
Your face is flushed pink “M-mom! Don’t ask embarrassing questions like that..” you head you gaze down at the food on your fork making sure not to make any eye contact with her.
“ Oh come on, you're not a child anymore, you can tell me these things without having to be embarrassed.”
“N-no Mom I don’t have a partner yet, no one has felt right to me yet…” you say trying to hide the disappointment in your tone.
“That ok sweetie I didn’t mean to make you upset, I’m sure you’ll find your perfect someone soon enough, there are plenty of different kinds of people in college.”
You finish your dinner, scrub the leftovers off the dishes, and head up to your room. You finally can take off your binder, it had been killing your bag all day and you were excited to be free. You could have sworn you saw a flash coming from outside your window. You quickly throw on your baggy pajama shirt and look outside your window. I must have just imagined it. You close your blinds.
You head into the bathroom to wash your face and brush your teeth. Your hair had gotten frizzy and dry from the Utha sun. The summers had always been too hot here.  You walk into the hallway and say goodnight to your mom and pat your bed telling Kally that it was time to go to sleep.
You get nuzzled in your bed, your mom had put light blankets and sheets on it to not overheat you. Just as you are about to finally drift off to sleep you shoot up out of bed. You needed to look for a summer job. You can’t keep letting your mom suffer for your sake. You take your laptop from your school bag and begin to search for any place that is hiring. After scrolling for a while you find a Restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. The pay wasn’t the best, minimum wage and you would be working in a customer service position but it was better than nothing. You log your information into the system and schedule a consultation and interview for the nearest date, tomorrow.
You wake to your dog barking, the sun has created a pink and blue ombre in the sky. It was too early but you had to get up, today was your interview. You sleepily get out of bed, throw up your arms into a big stretch, and yawn. You rub your eyes as you let your dog outside, stumbling over to your pajama pants. You let Kally back inside and fed him his kibble.
You head into your closet and pick out something business casual.  A button-down and some jeans. Probably too hot for them but you didn't really like wearing shorts and you wouldn’t be caught dead in a skirt. You try to be as quiet as you can to not wake up your mom. You scarf down some cereal and begin walking to Freddy’s, it should only be about a 15-minute walk.
You looked around the empty space, the only thing illuminating the room was the arcade lights. It was cold inside, the AC blasting. You stepped in further. You look up and find an OFFICE sign and follow it deeper into the building. The door is slightly opened yet you think it polite to knock. You get to the door and knock, but there was no response. You knock again.
“Hello there,”  you hear from behind and you whip around to see a tall shadowy figure looming over you. The figure cracks a grin at the sight of your shock. “Are you y/n, the new applicant?” he asks.
“Ah sorry you scared me, yes I'm y/n” you reply in a nervous voice. He moves closer, your back touches the door behind you. He keeps moving closer and the door gives way, you stumble back into the office. He fluidly moves into the office and steps around you. He walks over to a large wooden desk, there are blueprints and schematics for animatronics all over the table.
Your heart is racing, what’s this guy’s deal? He overall had a weird vibe that made the little hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
“Um... I was looking to work here, for the summer,” you stuttered and tried to hide your nervousness, “I really need the money right now, I can pretty much work any shift or position.”
“That’s perfect sweetie, I’m glad you're so, eager, to work here,” his eyes narrow and he smirks.
You were put off by his usage of pet names, sweetie, really? You shook it off. Mom needs you. You can’t keep relying on her, you’re not a child anymore.
“I just need you to fill out these forms and you can start working here, let me get you set up in our system.”
“ Oh, that was easy, um, thank you,” you give him a soft smile and glance at the nameplate sitting on his desk “, I look forward to working here, Mr. Afton.”

So what does being friends mean? Having a creepy Sugar Daddy? No, not just creepy. He is a monster and you saw it. And you can’t do anything about it.
You can leave, but he’s right. You would have to leave the country to never see him again. Preferably north, where your crime career will end. Kinda not even a choice.
He gave you a room so you can go pick up your stuff from the hotel where you stayed and move there.
He also told you to stick to cash, the old-fashioned way. Which you did too. Turns out you don’t have that much money. Lalo asked about how much you made, and honestly you could work at Starbucks with the same levels of stress but less risk.
True, but freedom is priceless.
The next few days were weird. He would leave randomly and come back and not tell you much besides “it was work”. You’re not sure what his job is with such a schedule…
“You wanna go out? Or you’re still upset?”
Lalo asked you while you sat on the couch, watching some YouTube.
Is he serious? How can anyone be fine after seeing that? You are not that weak. You probably would be fine if not thoughts of it possibly being you…
“So you rape someone in front of me after telling me you wanted to do the same to me, and now I’m held hostage and I should feel fine?” You growl at him.
You are not scared of him. He can kill you, sure why not, he was planning that anyway!
He exhales loudly.
“You can leave. I just think leaving is dumb, so I let you stay.” Lalo shrugs.
“Is that so? Or you just wanna keep a sex toy that you won't have to kill?” You turn off the TV.
“¿Crees que eres especial?” He chuckles. “I’m just being kind. I don’t need a brat with amateur sex skills to keep as a ‘toy’. That’s why you can leave.” He looks annoyed. “I’m out. I’ll be home late.”
You don’t respond. Maybe sometimes you’re not as smart as you think you are.
Will he be home late? Is it already time for another hunt?
Fuck it. Fuck him. You get up and run to your room to take your still unpacked luggage. This is not what you want. You want to get drunk in the safety of your hotel room and get off to some furry porn like the good old days!
Running from him or running from yourself? Aren’t you a predator too? Didn’t you just help him do it to someone?
You spent half an hour in the hotel just crying. Thinking of what you’ve done. The next half an hour was busy with drinking everything the minibar has. You can afford it today. After all, you earned a lot by helping that freak rape and murder that guy.
You look at yourself in the mirror after trying to do your makeup in this state. You look like a hooker. You love it.
Same with your clothes. Something weirdos call clothes that are “asking for it”.
Cheetah top, jacket too big for you, blue tights peeping above your miniskirt. Clips from lingerie that hold stockings in place peeking from under the skirt. No underwear, and thigh high boots with heels, too dirty, too messy. Cool glasses, choker necklace and too many rings on fingers with acrylics you just popped on. Keeping two nails on the dominant hand short, obviously.
You put all your essentials in a handbag and leave the hotel room. Almost falling over on your heels.
You make your way to a familiar place and drink more. You are not sure what the end goal of this coping charade is… Getting too drunk? Having messy sex with a person you don’t know?  What would someone else do? Probably the same… Nobody should judge you.
After a few more drinks, the barman refuses to pour you more. You leave to keep on going.
As soon as you get sober, you drink more. Then feeling sick, vomiting and repeat.
After another vomiting round, you hear “Hey, this is the men's restroom, princess.”  from behind you. Ah, yeah? You turn around, wiping your mouth, looking at the guy who just said that.
“Do I f-fucking l-look like a woman to you?!” You growl.
“Yeah you do! You’re a hooker? I didn’t know they just let any tramps in here…” Guy says.
Twink right next to him chimes in.
“You’re a tranny?”
You don’t respond and just hit the first guy in the face. You keep beating him, putting your whole weight into the hits, while the twink tries to stop you. His nose is broken and bleeding, he’s hitting you back, but you’re so drunk it doesn’t hurt. You low-key smile when he starts yelling for help. You're pretty sure you gave him a concussion before the bouncer threw you out.
You walk off to the next destination. Something to eat.
What time is it, by the way?
Everything feels like a blur.
By the time you find a place to eat, you get sober again. Everything hurts now.
You walk into the diner that looks bad enough to not kick you out for looking and smelling like trash, and sit somewhere far from everyone. Sober thoughts of pain creep into your mind. You can’t help but tear up.
“Honey, what happened to you?” A black, mature looking waitress came over and put a menu in front of you.
You sob louder.
“Men are assholes.” You cry out and cover your face with dirty, bloody hands.
“Oh, hun, they sure are… Go clean up in the bathroom. I’ll get you something, okay?” She took the menu and walked off.
You get up and wobble to the bathroom. You look at yourself. You look like the final girl in a slasher film. If she was an idiot tranny boy…
You have blood on your hands. You killed that guy. Do you even remember his name? You are a predator, just like Lalo. You are not Lalo’s victim, you are an accomplice.
You finish freshening up and come back to your seat. Soon the woman brings you some aspirin, gum, a few bandages and food. You thank her for everything while breaking into tears again.
Food tastes four times better after you were starving yourself for so long. You leave a huge tip and run off to get back to the hotel.
You feel so embarrassed. You shouldn’t feel upset, right? You weren’t forced into that situation, you are just an idiot! You should feel guilty instead.
You are the only one who fucking knows where that man's body is.
Back in the hotel, you shower and finally sleep. Feels like a long nap. You can’t stop waking up thinking about cops breaking in. You look at the dreaded minibar. Refilled. Sometimes you wish you had friends you could talk to…
You take your phone to check what day it is, but your phone is… bricked. Screen shattered, and it won't turn on when you charge it. Good reason to cry and… Take another round at all this.
Who cares what day it is, anyway.
You swear it was at least another two days of you drinking nonstop. Same clothes, same bruises and same stomach pain.
You care less, though. What stage of grief are we at? Anger? Yeah, you are fucking mad. This is why you got into another fight.
It doesn’t matter anymore. You just dance it all away. Who cares about what happened. As if it is your problem. You are just as much of a victim. Why would you hate yourself for something that asshole did? You feel crazy. Maybe going completely mad will fix you.
“Y/N?” A voice calls out for you.
You don’t turn around to check. Many people with the same name as you on this planet.
But then you hear it again, accompanied by a firm grasp on your shoulder.
“Y/N.”
You turn and push that someone away. The man grips you by the arm, making you look at him.
He was right, this country is too small.
“Fuck off! Fucking rapist!” You push Lalo again, but you fail to make much impact while he holds you like this.
“Have you seen yourself?” He sounds so serious.
“Yeah! I’m fucking hot! Why?” You giggle.
“You look like a hooker.” He frowns. “What happened to your face?”
“I was in a fight.” You try to stand still.
He is silent for a moment.
“What!? Get off me!” You push him when he doesn’t say anything.
Lalo looks around and then back at you.
“Which hotel are you staying in?” He asks.
“Th—Theh… The red one?” You frown, thinking.
He thinks for a second before pulling you to the exit. You whine but don’t resist.
“People will think you’re my angry dad, and I’m your thot daughter…” You mumble.
“Yeah.” He agrees, seemingly just to shut you up.
He sits you in the back seat of his car. Well, he tries to. You do not cooperate and kick him lightly, acting like a child. His hand brushes against your exposed, hot cunt. Yeah, you still didn’t wear any underwear, just torn and dirty tights. He stops for a moment, blinking a few times.
“Wh— Where’s your underwear?” He says, confused.
“The fuck you care!? You’re not my dad!” You push on his thigh with your heel.
Your daddy issues are showing.
He exhales with tension and puts the front seat in place. You’re so happy to see him mad at you. Is he mad? Is he thinking of assaulting you? He totally is. Freak he is, he would only think of that.
“Sit. Stay.” He commands before locking you in his car.
You sit up, annoyed, looking at him smoking outside.
“Should I feel like a dog or a kid… dogs can feel angry at their owners? He… He is not my owner.” You mumble to yourself.
You lay back, putting your dirty boots places they shouldn’t be. You are so lonely. Your only friend is a guy you fucking hate.
Lalo comes back, plopping in the driver's seat.
“You feeling sick? If so, then tell me. Don’t vomit in here.” He says as he starts the engine.
“I hope you die.” You look at the stain your heel left on the car roof.
“Not what I asked.” He pulls out of the parking lot.
“I hope you die in a fire.” You mumble.
“Está bien. Lo entiendo. You’re hungry?” He sounds casual, yet tense.
“Hungy… Mhggh.” Thoughts of food make you a little sick.
“We can stop and eat somewhere. Won’t be able to eat at the hotel at this hour.” Lalo says.
“I rem-member. I remember when I made my parents sit and wait until midnight at the hotel bar because they would put-put out ham and cheese sa-sanwinches… An-an-and I liked them a lot… We were not in-in ‘Merica. We… we were on vacation.” You mumble out.
“Was it a long time ago?” Lalo turns on the blinker and makes a turn.
“It was… I was eight… Uhghh…” You hiccup.
“Then it was not that long ago, huh.”
You sit up again.
“It was…” You say as if it offended you.
“For you, it was.” He chuckles.
“How old are you?” You frown.
“I’m forty-four.” Lalo says it with some sort of pride.
“Ugh… You’re fucking old.” You wrinkle your nose and lay back down.
“Isn’t it why you wanted to rob me? Old and rich?” He laughs again.
You feel small. Feels weird, you don’t wanna feel small. You sob.
“Ay! No-no-no. You’re a big boy. No llores. You got yourself into this mess, you have to be brave and face the truth.” He reaches out to the back to touch you.
“I fucking killed a guy…” You keep sobbing.
“You didn’t. I did. You helped.”
“What’s the difference?! We will go in for the same amount of time!” You yell.
“Shh… Don’t scream. No we wouldn’t. I did enough shit to face the chair. You didn’t.” He strokes your hand.
“Sh— Shit, how many people did you fucking kill?” You wipe your tears with your sleeve.
“I did a little more than just kill, nene… We can talk about it later.” He lets go of you. “We are here.”
Later?! You want the info NOW! You growl to yourself.
He pulls you out of the car, leading you to some 24 hour place, it seems. You stumble inside, and he sits you in a corner booth and walks off to talk to the only employee in sight. Good thing, alcohol still lets you see well and be quite aware. You see him pay the guy a bit too much cash and then come back to you.
He sits in front of you, grunting like old guys usually do. You look away, staring into the wall instead.
“Now… What is all this? A temper tantrum? Gonna drink yourself to death?” He sounds so serious.
Is HE scolding you? For what?! For being upset about what happened?!
You don’t respond.
“Can’t process things like adults do, hm?” He touches your ankle with his boot.
“I’m retarded.” You still don’t look at him.
“Sí, me fijé. It is still not an excuse for acting like that.” He keeps talking.
You watch the lonely employee close the doors. Then another comes out of the kitchen with a plate of food and two drinks. And a few pills.
They put everything on the table and leave without saying a word.
“If your scheme is to attract old gay men and scam them…” He continues. “I'll tell you right now, nobody will like you if you keep acting up like that.” He takes a fork and a knife and cuts the meat on the plate for you.
“It doesn’t matter.” You look at the food with no interest.
“Me vale. Eat.” He puts the cutlery down and takes out another cigarette.
“You smoke a lot.” You say with the same monotone voice, not moving.
Lalo rolls his eyes.
“I have to quit cocaine somehow, no? Eat.”
You sit upright, but food still looks scary. You try to lift the fork, but it feels like eating with no hands would be easier.
“Here.” Lalo says as he lifts the fork himself and takes a bite. “It’s good. If you try harder, you can do it. Take the pills too, okay?” He gives you the fork back, putting the cigarette back in his mouth.
Not so scary anymore. It is indeed easy, but you eat really slowly. Some of it falls into your lap. He is watching you eat, he looks weird.
He always did, you didn’t have time to think about it, but he looked like a serial killer all along. With his soulless black, black eyes. Guess it makes sense. But right now he looks kinda upset. What’s he sad for? Weirdo.
You finish your food and drink the meds, and he keeps staring you down.
“Ready to go?” He puts out the cig on the empty plate.
You nod, unsure.
He helps you get up, and you leave after one of the employees unlocks the door for you.
Feeling clueless is scary. You are scared, kinda. Also, curious. About what the fuck he is, anyway.
You can’t help but fall asleep in the car. Pills couldn’t be sleeping pills, no? No. He said he wouldn't hurt you, right?
This time he wakes you up when you arrive. You are at the hotel you stayed at, so you yourself have to lead. You feel more sober and less in pain now, guess that's what pills were actually for.
You open the hotel room and wobble inside with him holding you.
He was talking, but to be fair, you are too tired to listen. He didn’t insist on you listening either, it seems.
You are an idiot. A child. He is right. No adult would act like that.
You fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. When you wake up, the first thing you see is a glass of water. You reach out with no hesitation and drink the whole thing. Your throat hurts. And your body… and your head. You turn around to see Lalo lying next to you, he is writing something in his notebook. You never saw him wear glasses before while doing it…
“I hate you.” You say, your voice cracking.
He nods in response.
You groan and lay back down. Lalo shuffles behind you. Sounds like he sets his notebook and reading glasses away. He moves closer, hugging you from behind. You shiver, making a displeased grimace.
“Shh… It’s okay.” He almost whispers. “You stink. Let’s get this off you, baby.” He pulls on your top.
You groan, pushing him away with your weak hands. He doesn’t stop.
“Come on. You have to pay me back.” He forces the top off you, running his hands over your chest.
He traces your scars gently, reaching out to circle the nipple.
“Can you feel anything with those?” He chuckles.
You let the dry sob out and shake your head in ‘no’.
“Claro.”
He strokes your curves and meets your skirt. He pulls it down. You let him do it. Watching Lalo smile.
“How did nobody rape you yet? Young boys shouldn’t go out dressed like this, you know?” He pulls on your torn tights, taking them off as well.
Does he actually think that? Or is he just being a bigot on purpose?
“I’m not— It’s not—” You sob and cover your mouth.
“Shh, shh, shh… It’s okay.” He unbuckles his pants. “Don’t worry too much, okay? I don’t want people to hear you cry.”
That is not reassuring at all.
He pulls out his dick, already quite hard.
“P-please, don’t do this…” You cry out as quietly as you can, your voice cracking again.
That only makes his cock throb.
“Yeah, keep talking like that. Just don’t scream, okay? Be quiet for Daddy, okay?” He strokes himself while petting your hip gently.
Daddy? No way. You choke on your sob.
He moves closer, spreading your legs for himself. He gently puts two fingers in.
“You’re not a wet kind, huh?” Lalo looks up at you.
No you’re not, especially not without foreplay. First time was like that too…
“I’m sorry…” You cover your face.
“No hay nada de qué disculparse…” He gets up to look for a lube that you obviously have. “We all are different…” His tone is gentle and quiet.
As if he's trying to catch a wild animal. One tree branch snaps and you’re gone.
He finds lube and comes back to you. He is gentle and slow. Doesn’t change much though… you still don’t want him. You just wonder why he didn’t do it when you were knocked out? Why do you have to be conscious for this?
He fingers your cunt, slowly stretching you out. You take three fingers easily, physically ready for him.
“Do you have to be a brat? Can’t you be at least somewhat thankful?” He stops.
You swallow a lump in your throat so you can speak. It doesn’t help, though. It only makes tears fall off your lashes.
“You hate me that much?” He chuckles. “I saved your life and that's what I get, huh?”
He can’t actually believe his words, right? He is just being an asshole on purpose, right?
Lalo doesn’t wait for your response and just pushes himself inside you. He exhales in satisfaction. You want to push him away, but what if he has his knife? What if he will just kill you?
You break out crying.
“Oh, yeah, baby, that's good. Llora por mí. Llora por Papá.” He pulls you closer, almost hugging you.
You wrap your hands around him. Carefully, trying to feel the knife on his belt. He doesn’t mind it, just begins to move slowly.
There’s no knife, still he can just choke you to death… Like he choked the guy you helped him rape.
“You know why I like when they cry?” He is right next to your ear, you feel his chest and neck vibrate along with him talking. He pets you gently. Soothingly.
“W-why?” You ask, almost with no sound. Your throat is too stiff to talk.
“Their holes spasm around me. Feels great. Especially if I scarred them inside beforehand…” He keeps on with shallow, gentle thrusts.
“Scarred?” You ask, though you don’t want an answer… Talking feels grounding somehow.
“Sí,” He picks up the speed slowly, “I fuck them with a knife or something else sharp, like glass. I wouldn’t put my dick in if it was glass, though… Tiny shards can get caught inside.” He is quite casual about it. Too casual.
He feels good though… His dick fills you up well, too well. How unfair. Perfect dick on a perfect man who has no soul.
You make a tiny gasp, trying to keep yourself together.
“They—They— They must hurt f-from that—”
Lalo chuckles, changing position. Now he keeps you in a tight hug while still moving. Not so gentle anymore, but still pleasant.
“Oh, ellos lo hacen. They scream and beg. Some pass out, some stay awake and watch me fuck their bleeding holes. Mggh—” Lalo breathes heavily, clearly enjoying this conversation.
“Ha-hh—” You speak up. “Like that— One— uh, serial killer… Ah— Do you— Do you put needles and lead balls in their— Their— Genitals too? Hah—”  And you finally relax in his hands.
Lalo laughs. Fuck, he is sick. Unfortunately, hot too…
“Where do you know all that from, huh? Your parents didn’t track what you were watching as a kid?” Lalo moves lower to kiss and bite your neck.
“Nh-nh— No. They didn’t care about me m-much.”
“Right. If they did, you wouldn’t fuck a man as old as me…”
Lalo bites and sucks on your skin, leaving marks, then he licks them as if he is a dog caring for a fellow's wounds. He pulls you up, sitting you in his lap, not stopping moving his hips, still hugging you. You hug him back again.
“Mgh— My baby is sick, huh? So lonely, he has to fuck old guys for a living?” He growls in your ear.
“I d-don’t f-fuck them!” You protest, hiding your face in his neck.
“Yeah? Why scam them, then? Holding a grudge? Your dad beat you or something?” He chuckles.
“Yellow…” You bite his shoulder.
“So you know what a safe word is, huh?” He locks his hands on your hips, leaning away to look you in the eye. “Then don’t complain about me raping you today. Sabías cómo detenerme.”
With that he let himself loose, fucking you harder. Does he know what yellow means!? Guess it doesn't matter… You indeed let him. It is your fault, not his.
He cums inside shortly after, insisting on making you come too. You hesitate, but It's nothing to him. You’re scared to say the safe word now… What if he will be upset?
He laps on your boypussy, paying close attention to your microdick, while fingering you until you are done.
He sits back, licking his lips, breathing heavily.
“Hope that wasn't fake…” He stares at you.
You swallow.
“I-I— I don’t know how to fake it…” You hold onto the sheets, violated and embarrassed.
He raised his eyebrows in a comical, cartoony expression before breaking out laughing.
“Eres un chico afortunado, ¿eh?” He keeps chuckling.
You look away in shame.
He lays next to you, pulling you closer. You let him embrace you. He kisses the top of your head while stroking your back.
“Tell me more about those scary stories you watch.” Lalo purrs.
“You know one where a real story about guys kidnapping and raping a girl for days was turned into a very graphic manga?” You ask.
“Nope, but… I’m intrigued.” You can hear him grinning.

Greetings from the world beyond!!
Okay, so maybe it isn’t that *extreme* (yet) but it kinda feels that way. Especially since I’m starting Day 5 of my 60+hour shift, and still tried from being on my feet all day for my 15.5 hour shift on Thursday. I haven’t slept in my own bed since Monday night so I’m looking forward to getting the next 10 hours over with and heading home so I can sleep in my own bed again tonight!
So.. I haven’t been active for about 17 days… Didn’t really plan on that but it’s just kinda how it happened. The last time I posted I was talking about taking time away due to mental health reasons and other factors that I said I was going to touch more on in a later post. Let’s just say that whatever I was going to talk about at that point kinda went out the window thanks to life. That morning while I was on my way to work, about a mile and a half from my store something happened to my car. More specifically, something happened with the engine. I managed to make it off the interstate and barely make it to my store, albeit extremely slowly. Spent the next 4 days literally stuck at work because I couldn’t go anywhere. I had to have my car towed home and end up driving my dad’s truck after he and my mom made the trip down (for the record, I work over 40 miles away from home so it’s not a short trip). Due to my work schedule, we haven’t had a chance to take my car to the mechanic we typically use because I’ve been having to use my dad’s truck and we don’t want to pay for another tow truck. The thought of trying to figure out WHAT is wrong with my car and how much it will cost to hopefully get it repaired has been terrifying me because having a bill like that is just something I do NOT need in my life right now when money is really tight thanks to other things that have been going on.
So on top of all that, there has been a bit of a heatwave hitting the area and it just so happens that the air conditioner in my dad’s truck does NOT work so I’m stuck having to basically drive with windows down.. and only 2 of the 5 windows in his truck work properly and thankfully one of those 2 happens to be the drivers side window. Window driving is fine.. as long as it’s not raining and I’m constantly moving. And it just so happens that there is supposed to be rain/storms today and into tonight, meaning my almost hour drive home will probably be very uncomfortable.
Now.. back to the work schedule. I am EXHAUSTED at the moment. Today is the first day that I’ve been able to do “personal” stuff while at work because it is post holiday and I’ve thankfully got the store to myself again, except for when the random customer comes in. I have no one to blame but myself for being as tired as I am because I’ve chosen to work a job that revolves around holidays so I don’t get to experience “long weekends” like most do, but for the most part its rewarding. I’m paid fairly well for a retail type job and I get a nice bonus for working the holiday. It’s just the long hours leading up to the holiday, in this case July 4th/Independence Day here in the US, get tiring PLUS me being a night owl and only getting 6ish hours of sleep if I’m lucky means I’m tired. Yeah, I know it’s not healthy but it’s just how I am.
I’m hoping to find my creative streak again really soon and try and make some progress on the multiple story ideas I have lingering in my head and finally get them out. But that may not be as possible as I had hoped since my friend reached out to me at the beginning of the week and was wanting to place a rather large resin order in preparations for the conventions he’s going to be appearing at.. so whenever I wake up tomorrow (as soon as I get settled at home tonight and head to bed, I am NOT setting an alarm and will only be waking up when my body is ready… so it may be another 10am wake up time tomorrow but oh well) and get my laundry started I guess I’ll get to work on that. HOPEFULLY after I get the resin mixed I can switch over to writing.. but I’m honestly not gonna hold my breath.
Speaking of writing, I have finally started another side blog dedicated to me documenting my writing adventures. There’s nothing there at the moment, still setting up the page and whatnot but I’ll try to get that rolled out soon.
Anyway, if you’ve made it this far in this post, thank you for sticking around and reading this. I’m hoping to be more active here again now that things with work have calmed down.

Tumblr media
In a last-ditch effort to make some more money this Christmas, she takes a job at the local grocery store to stock the shelves at midnight. It’s not too bad, there are only 16 shelves and about 30 feet of freezer to restock, she gets to bring a walkman and headphones and wear whatever she wants. As long as the shelves look nice come morning, the boss didn’t really care.
From the first night she worked there she knew it was going to be a good fit, mainly because the other stock person she’s been partnered with is the same guy she had a massive crush on in high school. Eddie Munson had one hell of a year while she was trying to graduate, he was getting accused of murdering her classmates. He disappeared mostly after that, the school gave him a pass and his diploma so they didn’t have to see him again, the town pretended they didn’t try and murder him in revenge for an entire week and she didn’t see him again for a while.
“Hey,” she waves at him with her lips pressed together in a tight smile, “I’m—
“Y/N,” he points at her name tag with a matching smile. “I take it you’re my new buddy?”
She nods, “yeah… um, what are we doing tonight?”
“The snacks and chips aisle, the milk fridge and the cheeses,” he recites the list as he pulls it out of his pocket and hands it to her.
While she is just in jeans and a sweater, nothing too fancy, he’s in a navy blue jumpsuit with his name embroidered on the left breast, and just under it, the grocery store logo. He was in uniform… “why don’t I have to wear one of those?”
“Oh, I got this for being the employee of the month,” he shrugs it off, not meaning to brag in the slightest. “You like it?”
“Yeah,” she smiles like a fool, nodding quickly and looking at the list he handed her to avoid his eye contact.
She liked him so much in high school, and he was still so cute, it was all coming back to her. He’s much more laid back and reserved now, it has been over a year since she’s seen him in person, too. It made her wonder if he was still that same loud, opinionated nerd that she admired from a distance.
He’s super nice about teaching her the right way to restock everything, bringing the old stuff to the front and the new things get pushed to the back of each shelf. They split up the aisles and met in the middle, trying to beat each other each time. He sang along to the radio playing over the speakers, and he danced when he thought she wasn’t looking… he was just as cute as he was in high school.
They end up making a good team, they finish their list and pick up a few extra chores. They change a lightbulb in the guest bathroom, take inventory of the magazines and run disinfectant over every surface they could until their shift ends. It feels like it takes forever, they’re awkward when talking to each other but it’s kinda easy to hang out with him. This was going to be a good job for her.
“You need a ride home?” He asks in the staff room after work, both of them putting on their coats and scarves. The November chill in Hawkins was not nice.
She shakes her head and starts to point, “no, I just live—
“You can’t walk home in the middle of the night,” he cuts her off. “There’s too many creeps and animals out there. I don’t mind where it is?”
“Okay,” she gives in easily.
She gives him her address as they walk out to his van, he opens the door for her and lets her hop in before closing it for her too. He asks her about how long she’s lived there, trying his best to make conversation but it hurts.
“Uh, we’ve always lived in Hawkins, my house is still a mess from the earthquake but the insurance is fixing it soon,” she assures, nervous for him to see the state of the place when he pulls up. “If my dad was still here he’d probably have it done by now, but it’s just me and my mom.”
“God, I’m sorry,” he felt so bad for asking. “That was the worst fucking week ever.”
“yeah… it sucked for everyone,” she doesn’t even know how to touch upon what he went through. “Glad it’s over.”
“More than you know,” he sighs, turning onto her road finally.
He doesn’t want to come in for coffee or anything, he gives her a smile and a wave and watches to make sure she gets inside her house safely before driving away.
She thinks about him well into the morning when she should be sleeping. It’s easy to get sucked into an imaginary life where he asks her out after a shift and they hang out and fall in love and she finally gets to kiss that smile off his beautiful face… it’s not easy to make it come true. She would go to her grave with the fact she thinks he’s handsome and nice and funny and cute. She’s not big on sharing feelings, having no one to ever really share them with, in the first place.
She doesn’t see him unless she’s working, which was only 3 nights a week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
She uses those 3 nights wisely. She wears something nice but not too suspicious, and she always smells nice and does the best she can with her hair and makeup… she wants him to think she’s pretty. She wants to catch him staring at her instead of how many times he caught her looking at him as a teenager.
He tells her that she looks nice every day in many different ways.
“Did you come straight from the ball, princess?”
“You know this is a grocery store, not a fashion show, right?”
And her personal favourite… “It's too cold out there for you to come in looking so hot.” With a wink. A fucking wink. It almost made her pass out.
He does it just to bug her, he likes to make her squirm and lose every thought in her head. He laughs when she stutters through a response and he always pats her shoulder gently and says, “I just mean you look nice today.”
She has a hard time reaching the top shelves sometimes and he has no problem coming over and standing real close to her. “Here, I got that,” he says in such a low voice it felt like a whisper. He reaches up and takes everything down for her, “do you want me to put them up for you too?”
“Sure,” she doesn’t mind, she works on the second highest shelf instead, still close to him, she watches him reach and extend his long arms and puff out his chest and ugh he’s so hot it makes her stare like an idiot.
“You’re drooling,” he teases her.
She wipes her face quickly, “what? No, shut up.”
He just giggles and finishes shoving the new stock toward the back of the shelf. She bumps shoulders with him right before he heads back to his stack of things, he had boxes of croutons to unpack. She was now moving on to salad dressings and other condiments.
She doesn’t dare start up any conversations, overthinking everything that comes into her head too much. She didn’t feel like he’d find anything she had to say interesting.
They’re in the soup aisle when he finally speaks again. “Can I ask you something?”
She’s a bit shocked cause he’s been silent for so long, but she nods.
“When you dream is there ever a specific topic you dream about the most?”
“Tornados,” she can answer without batting an eye. “I had one the other night actually… I don’t know why but there’s always a tornado.”
“That is an interesting one… did you just watch a lot of the wizard of oz growing up?” He teases.
She can’t help but smile, “no, I’ve actually never watched it.”
“You get more interesting every time you talk,” he means it as a compliment.
“Yeah? Well, why’d you even ask about dreams? Do you have a good one?”  She turns the conversation back to him, taking a handful of soups and shoving them into the shelf.
“I keep having dreams in high school where I’m failing again and none of the teachers will pass me,” he explains. “And I had one last night cause I guess seeing you again so much is reminding me of being back in school.”
“Wait,” she turns to him full of shock and awe, “you remember me?”
“Of course,” he doesn't see it as a big deal. “Your lunch table was beside ours, I saw you every day?”
He saw me looking at him often…
She wants to turn inside out with embarrassment. “Oh, I uh, I didn’t think you paid attention to that.”
“How could I not? You always reacted the best when I did something stupid,” he reminisces, stepping in closer to her. “And I remember your laugh was cute.”
She’s too nervous to even giggle awkwardly, he’s in her personal space and he smells good and his eyes are so inviting, “thanks…” all the air in her chest leaves as she melts in front of him.
“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t do all that shit just for your attention,” he admits, licking his lips as he stares at hers.
It’s like time stops, her brain can’t process all the information so she just blinks a few times and stares back at him with a furrowed brow. “Really?”
He nods with a laugh, pulling away and returning to the stack of boxes they had to put away. “Yeah, I uh, I should probably feel a little stupid telling you this now after all this time, but uh, you bring the stupid out of me… I kinda had a huge crush on you back then.”
“Me?”
“Yeah, you,” he teases. “You act like thats a total surprise? You’re so pretty and you were never mean to me, it was bound to happen.”
She’s completely dumbfounded, “oh… that’s— I’m nice to everyone? At least I try to be.”
But then she realizes what he really said, he used to have a crush on her, but that’s long gone. He wouldn’t tell her if he still had one, would he? Guys weren’t that open about feelings, it was always a game with them… right?
“Sorry,” he realizes he fucked up by telling her. “I didn’t want to make things awkward between us.”
“No, no, it’s fine, it’s just weird for me. I’ve never been told straight up that someone had a crush on me,” she’s really taken aback. “Thanks… really.”
“Anytime,” he blushes slightly, dropping it there.
He drives her home again like he does every night that she works cause he really can’t stand the idea of her walking home past midnight as the temperature drops. He has tried to offer to pick her up beforehand, but she doesn’t want to put him out, and her mom doesn’t mind dropping her off every night… but he asks again, anyway.
Parked outside of her house, he turns to her. “Can I please come pick you up before your next shift?” He all but begs.
“I guess,” she gives in, “why?”
He shrugs, “I like spending time with you.”
“Then why don’t you ever want to come in for a coffee?” She combats, really wanting him to come in. “I also have tea and hot chocolate…”
“Okay,” he gives in right back. “I’ll come in with you, tonight.”
“Really?” She lights right up and throws off her seatbelt, reaching for the door.
“Wait, wait, wait!” He panics, rushing out first and coming around to her side to open it up for her, “you’re gonna make me look bad, walking you to the front door and not getting the door for you is a crime.”
“If you say so,” she laughs at him as she hops out beside him.
He slams her door closed and with a hand on her back, he leads her toward the front door. “You sure you’re mom's okay with me being in her house?”
“Yeah, why not?” She honestly forgets.
“Well, I’m me?” He awkwardly laughs, feeling incredibly nervous about his reputation. “It’s honestly why I’ve not said yes yet, I don’t know who hates me still…”
“Oh god, no, she doesn’t hate you, she doesn’t hate anyone,” she puts up both hands in a sort of surrender that made him smile. She meant it. “She’s also asleep so you won’t have to talk to her at all.”
“Okay,” he assures her, rubbing his hand over her shoulder with a smile.
Every time he looks at her like that she wants to melt right into him, to swim around in the chocolate pools of his eyes for hours on end. He’s so beautiful, she’s never going to get over it.
He leans in closer, looking at her through his lashes, “Are we going inside soon, it’s cold out here?”
“Sure, yeah,” she remembers what they were doing, digging her keys out of her pocket. She unlocks the door and pushes it open, slipping in first and letting him follow.
Inside he kicks off his shoes and hangs up his jacket beside hers before following her all the way into the kitchen. He’s as quiet as a mouse, respecting that her mom is asleep somewhere in the house.
“So what’ll it be?” She asks, opening up the fridge to take a look while he sits down at the kitchen counter.
“Oh, I’m good, I just wanted to come in with you,” he admits but by the look on her face, she doesn’t believe him. “Seriously, I’m just going to go home and sleep anyway, it’s fine.”
“You’ve gotta have something… come on?” She stares him down, “Pepsi? Ginger ale? Water? What about a snack?”
“I’m fine,” he means it. “What do you normally have when you come home?”
“It’s always different, sometimes my mom makes something for us for dinner and other nights I just have like a pop tart,” she shares, opening the cupboard and taking out a box.
“I could actually go for a pop tart,” he admits, eyes up the box in her hands.
She laughs and opens up one of the silver, crinkly packets and hands him one. He takes a big bite and dramatically throws his head back with a groan, “fuck, I forgot how good these are.”
“And you would’ve kept forgetting if you didn’t come in with me, so I guess you have to from now on,” she teases, feeling a lot more confident with him suddenly… she felt like things could be fun between them. If he wasn’t going to fall in love with her, she might as well try for being his best friend.
“You’re too cute to say no to,” he can’t help but smile at her.
“Again, you’re the only one to think so,” she rolls her eyes, not believing him. He was just a flirt, it wasn’t the truth… right?
“More for me, then,” he shrugs, taking another bite from his pop tart and dropping it there.
“Are you sure you don’t need a ride?” Her mom asks from the kitchen.
“I’m fine,” she calls back, staring out the front window, watching the street for Eddie’s van. “My co-worker offered to pick me up.”
“Oh, which one?”
“Um, Eddie…” she turns around slowly to see her mom standing in the doorway now. “Eddie Munson.”
“Oh,” she is a little shocked to hear that name after so long. “I didn’t know he was still in Hawkins?”
“He works nights so no one has to see him,” she explains, “cause people are mean… he was really scared to come in last night after work cause he didn’t want to upset you by coming into your house.”
“Poor boy,” she feels so bad, never wanting her home to strike fear in someone. “I knew you wouldn’t have a crush on a monster, and the police cleared him, this town owes him an apology too.”
“I know,” she agrees but she doubts it’ll ever happen.
Sometime during their chat, Eddie pulled up outside and made his way to her front door where he laid a few knocks. She opens the door with a huge smile, “hi, sorry you didn’t have to come all the way to the door.”
“I wanted to,” he assures her, seeing her mom peeking over her shoulder. “Hi, Mrs. Y/L/N.”
“Hello,” she gives him a little wave. “Have fun at work you two, I’ll see you, tomorrow sweetheart.”
“Bye mom,” she slips outside with Eddie, knowing her mom was going to watch them walk back to his van.
He extends his hand and holds hers as they walk down the few steps of her porch, he drops her hand only to place it on her back as he leads her toward the passenger door. He opens for her, like always. He runs around the van, sends a wave to her mom at the door and then hops inside, “ready?”
“Ready,” she can’t bite back her smile anymore, she was so giddy about holding his hand that it made her feel like a little girl again.
He pauses for a moment and looks her up and down, “did you get all dolled up 'cause I’m driving you?”
She tilts her head to the side, annoyed cause he always asks, “I always look like this.”
“Beautiful, you mean?”
She walked right into that one.
“Fine, I’ll let you have it this time,” she gives in.
“Good,” he throws the van in drive and heads out of her little neighbourhood towards town.
He’s quiet for a bit, she looks around at the street lights and the businesses still open, as well as all the houses with their Christmas lights up already. “I miss it was still kinda sunny out at 8pm,” she sighs, staring out the window at the full moon rising over Hawkins.
“I like the dark,” he shares. “Less people are out.”
“Why don’t you move? Not that I want you to leave, but wouldn’t it be more freeing to have no one know who you are? You deserve a real life,” she lets her feelings fall right out. “You’re not a bad person, you never have been.”
“Thanks,” he reaches out his hand and rests it on her thigh. “But it’s ‘cause everyone I love is here, I can’t leave.”
“Right, so are you still in your band then?”
He lets out a very surprised chuckle, “yeah, I still have my band, we still play Tuesday nights, it's the only night I don’t work.”
She wouldn’t know that cause she didn’t work that night either, “I’ll have to come see you play sometime, I don’t have any classes that night.”
“Oh, I didn’t know you were in school still?”
“Community college,” she doesn’t feel so ashamed telling him. “Most my friends went off to real schools but it’s the only place I could go to for free, so.”
“Hey, at least you got in,” he celebrates the bare minimum. “I couldn’t even dream of it with my GPA. I was thinking I’d wait a few years and get some kind of degree when I’m considered a mature student, and when people forget about me.”
She wants to tell him that she’ll never forget about him, she never did. She thought about him all the time. She couldn’t hear Metallica on the radio without thinking about him. Every jean jacket patch made her think about him. She took a double take when she saw a man with long hair hoping it was him. She thought about him before she went to bed, in her dreams and as soon as her eyes opened in the morning.
She was completely in love with him.
She was only going to work for the holidays, and now that Christmas was only a few days away, she was worried that she only has a few more weeks left with Eddie. And for some reason that makes her want to get him a Christmas present, almost as a way to buy a place in his heart so he doesn’t forget about her when she’s not his buddy anymore.
And then he doesn’t show up for work… she’s been waiting to see him all week, and he’s a no-show.
So she asks her shift manager who says Eddie called out earlier in the day really, really sick. It makes her heart hurt knowing he wasn’t feeling good.
So she pushes through her shift. It’s weird without him, but she does it. She walks home for the first time and it’s a lot colder than she expected. The wind on her face and the snow in her hair, melt as the heat from her body escapes from her head. She gets home finally and she’s shivering, she wants to wrap herself up in a blanket and sleep for days, instead goes right to the kitchen. She searches through her cupboards for a couple cans of chicken noodle soup and some crackers, she grabs a few cans of ginger ale and takes her mom's keys. There’s no way she’s going back out there
She drives right into the trailer park and follows the road slowly, scanning the driveways for eddies van until she finally finds it. She parks outside the blue and white trailer and carefully heads towards his door, not wanting to slip with a handful of cans.
She knocks carefully, the lights are all still on so it’s not like she’s waking him up… and then another man she doesn’t know answers. “Yes?”
“Hi, I’m so sorry but is this Eddie’s trailer?” She panics.
“It is.”
“I brought him some soup, I heard he was sick and that’s why he couldn’t make it to work tonight…”
“Oh, that’s sweet, come on in out of the cold,” he ushers her right inside the tiny trailer. “Sorry for the mess, we’ve both been battling this random cold, I got it at the plant and he finally got it from me yesterday.”
“Oh no, I’m sorry,” she sympathizes as she lays everything down on his kitchen counter. “I’m Y/N, by the way.”
“Wayne, Eddies uncle,” he introduces himself. “He’s talked a lot about you, I was wondering when I’d get to meet ya.”
“Oh, really?” She can’t believe it.
“yeah… you know, I can put that soup on, you can go down the hall there and see him, he’s just reading in bed, I think?” He points.
“Oh, okay sure,” she doesn’t mind, she was honestly expecting Eddie to live alone and have an empty kitchen, not an uncle who loved him dearly there to take care of him.
She shrugs off her coat and takes off her boots first and then she heads down the hallways carefully, she knocks on his closed door, waiting for the all-clear to enter… and his “yeah?” Comes out so sad and sickly that it makes her heart hurt.
She pushes the door open carefully, “hey… I heard you were sick?”
“Y/N?” He sits right up, fixing his hair and wiping his nose. “I didn’t think you knew where I lived?”
“I just looked for the van, I think everyone knows you live in the trailer park,” she realizes how weird that sounds.
“True, still I can’t believe you’re here?”
She comes in and takes a seat on the edge of his bed, putting out her hand to hold the back of it to his forehead, “you’re all fevered, oh no… have you taken anything?”
He nods, “yeah, some Buckleys…”
“I brought you some soup, Wayne’s heating it up for you,” she explains with a soft smile. “He’s sweet.”
“Where’d you think I got my charm from?” He teases, still well enough to try and make her smile.
She brushes his hair off his face gently, “I’m glad you have him to take care of you.”
“I’d much prefer you as my nurse… would you give me a sponge bath?”
“No,” she holds back her laugh and just shakes her head with a smile. “But nice try.”
“Damn,” he sighs, tossing his head back against the pillow and closing his eyes. Turning on the dramatics, he looks at her with the sweetest puppy dog eyes, “will you at least keep me company while I have my soup?”
“Of course,” she planned to stay as long as he needed her. “I just have to bring my mom's car back before 8am cause she needs to go to work.”
“I promise I won’t keep you long,” he reaches out for her hand, holding them with both of his own. “I really appreciate you coming to check on me… and might I say you look very cute today, I’m glad I didn’t miss this one.”
She melts at his words, “you must not be too sick if you’re still trying to flirt with me.”
“I’m going to remind you that you’re beautiful until the day I die,” he’s very stern about that.
“Yeah, like you’ll know me that long,” she plays it off.
He gives her hands a little squeeze, “I like to think I will… I might just be high on cough syrup, but I like to think I’ll find you in every life I lead, you’re so special to me, Y/N.”
“You’re definitely high,” she teases, leaning in forward to kiss his forehead as she stands up. “I’m going to check on your soup… you sober up by the time I get back.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he agrees but doesn’t drop her hands, he holds on as long as he can and then she slips away from him.
Wayne’s just putting the soup in a bowl as she walks back into the kitchen, she grabs a sleeve of soup crackers and a ginger ale, it's plated and then Wayne turns to her.
“You know he’s not kidding, right?”
“What?”
“He wouldn’t lie,” Wayne gives her those honest Munson eyes that she loves so much in his nephew. “And clearly you feel the same if you’ve come all the way out here at half midnight to make him soup.”
She feels the colour leave her face as she’s caught red-handed, she was doing this because she loved him so dearly she couldn’t stand spending a shift without seeing him. She wanted to always take care of him. She loved him. It was as simple as that. She just loves him.
“Life’s too short to not tell each other,” he adds some last words of wisdom and hands her the tray of her lover's dinner.
She’s extra quiet when she brings him his dinner, and when she sits on the end of his bed to accompany him while he eats. He has a book resting face down, cracked open to keep its page, resting beside him. She reaches for it, checking the cover, it’s the fellowship of the ring.
“I’ve never read The Lord of the Rings, is it good?”
“It’s the best book series there is,” he assures her while taking another spoonful of soup.
She keeps her thumb where Eddie was reading but skips back to the first few pages, reading it over quietly to see if she’d like it at all… it’s cute. “You can read it from the beginning if you want?”
“Out loud?” She wonders if he’d want to hear that too.
“As if you could get any better,” he manages to smile no matter how sick he feels. “Please, I’d really love that.”
“Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.”
He basks in the way her voice sounds alongside his favourite book, words he’s read so many times and heard in his own voice now being retold in hers. He listens ever so intently, enjoying it more than she’d ever know as she watches the page, trying her hardest not to stutter and to pronounce all the words right so he didn’t laugh at her… but even when she gets stuck he just affectionately corrects her and admires her as she continues.
She makes it through the prologue and the facts about hobbits and pipeweed and the shire by the time he’s done eating. He has enough energy to take his dishes out to the kitchen himself and returns with a smile. She made her way up to the pillows beside him and slipped under the covers so he could get in beside her, “come on, I’m reading you a chapter or two and then I’ve gotta go home.”
“Right,” he gets into the bed beside her and snuggles right up to her, he wraps himself around her arm with his cheek on her shoulder so he can watch the page as she reads on through chapter one.
He falls asleep like that, with a warm belly full of soup and a heart full of love, it pains her to get up and possibly disrupt him.
She does get up, slowly but surely, replacing herself with a pillow that he snuggles up to instead. She kisses him on the forehead, he’s not as fevered as before, hopefully he felt better tomorrow. She takes a look around for a scrap piece of paper, finding one on his dresser with a sharpie marker. She leaves her phone number and a little note.
Call me tomorrow, I want to know if you’re feeling better. Hopefully we can finish this sometime.
xx Y/N
She slips it into the book and leaves it on his night table and then she’s off. She says goodbye to Wayne who’s still awake because if he sleeps he’ll throw off his schedule when he goes back to work. He also did night shifts, so he wouldn’t be there next time she comes over after work… that’s good to know.
He takes the whole weekend off and it sucks, but she understands he needs the time to get better. He calls her to let her know that decision around 2pm on Saturday and they stay on the phone all the way up until she has to get ready for work.
Waynes gone back to work, leaving him completely alone in the trailer after they hang up the phone… and all he can think about is how she’s going to have to walk home again. It rattles around his brain most of the night, he paces the trailer, feeling like shit but his love for her is eating him alive and it hurts more than his congested nose. At 11:52 he finally says fuck it.
In his pyjamas and all, he throws on a coat and slips his feet into his boots, he snags his keys off the wall and he’s gone. He books it out of the trailer park, watching the clock on his dash to ensure midnight doesn’t sneak up on him. The streets are empty, so he doesn’t worry about racing through the yellow lights on his way to the store.
He pulls up with just a few minutes to spare, his heart racing, he just parks at the curb by the employee's only back door and he waits for her. He reaches over to the passenger door to roll down the window, wanting her to be able to see him… as if she wouldn’t notice that it’s his van. She knew his van.
She knew him.
And she liked him.
The heavy door slowly opens and he sees her, laughing with their co-worker as she buttons up the last few buttons on her jacket. She’s bundled up in a scarf and she has a hat on today, she planned to be warmer on tonight's walk home.
“Eddie?” She lights right up. “What are you doing here.”
“I may be on my death bed but I’m not letting you walk home in the dark, princess,” he assures her, pushing the door open so she can get in.
She waves goodbye to their co-worker, finishing their conversation before she hops in the van and closes the door. She rolls the window back up. “Burr, you’re you’re going to get sicker with this open.”
“I hope you don’t find it weird that I’m here?” He worries, “seriously, after everything that happened here, walking home alone at midnight isn’t smart… it killed me that you walked home yesterday and then still came to see me.”
“I know, it’s okay,” she reaches out to hold his gently in hers. “You can pick me up and drive me home all the time if it makes you feel better?”
“You’ve gotta want to spend time with me too,” he places his other hand on top of hers. “Don’t feel like you have to be nice to me, little miss I’m nice to everyone.”
“I am,” she feels offended. “I know you’re not stupid, you’ve gotta see I love spending time with you.”
“I like to hear you say it, sue me,” he smiles, his eyes flicking back and forth between her eyes and her lips. He’s so close to her already that he could kiss her.
But then he’d get her sick.
So he pulls back a bit and pats her hand as her grip loosens. “Let’s get you home.”
“Yeah,” she settles into her seat and puts on her seatbelt, he waits for the click and then he’s off, taking the familiar route back to her place.
He asks her about her day, what they did, and how they’re doing without him. She missed him, he can tell by the way she complains about being partnered with someone new. “They didn’t do anything the way you do, it felt so wrong.”
She thinks I do things the right way…
His heart soars the whole ride and then it ends too soon. He parks at the curb with a sigh, “I’m going to be up for a bit if you want to call me?”
“You don’t want to come in?”
He shakes his head, “I can’t get my germs all over your place.”
“Right, no I get it,” she understands, but she lingers. He stares at him for a sec, “walk me to my door at least?”
“Sure,” he can’t say no to her.
She stays put this time, he runs around to her door and opens it, expecting her to jump right out but she pulls him close, using her height in the seat to her advantage. She touches his forehead gently, “you’re not fevered today, that’s good at least… I’d hate to miss another week with you.”
“I’ll come get you tomorrow, but I’m not working,” he compromises, knowing he hates not getting to see her too.
She hops out of the van and takes his hand on the way up to her door, “I could get used to this treatment.”
“You should,” he agrees. “Cause I’m not giving up.”
In sickness and in health and all that jazz… he’d be there through it all if she wanted him.
At her door, she gives him those same eyes as in the van, and he wants to kiss her so goddamn bad but he can’t. He simply pulls her into a hug and holds her tight, cheek pressed to the top of her head. She holds him around the middle just as tightly, it's a beautiful goodbye for a couple of friends.
He comes to pick her up for her next shift once again, only this time he pulls her into a hug at the door and kisses the top of her head, “hey, sweetheart, ready for work?”
She can only nod against him, soaking in the hug as long as she can get. “What was that for?” She asks as he pulls back.
He shrugs, “just cause… I missed you, I guess.”
“I missed you, too,” she wraps her arm around his middle and holds him close as she joins him on the walk back to his van. “Which is funny 'cause we’ve been talking more than ever, lately.”
“I know,” he loved it and it was evident in his voice.
Every night that she’s not working they talk on the phone, from the time she’s done with her classwork until he has to leave for his night shifts. It was a lovely little tradition now, he loved to learn about all her projects and reports, and he even let her read things over for his opinion. More than once he’s called her a genius, but the best thing he’s ever said to her was “your future kiddos are going to love you.” In regard to the class of students, she was going to teach one day.
It’s a day like any other, they have little conversations on their way to work, clock in together and head right to the first aisle on their to-do list. He dances around to the music, they toss things at each other, he makes dirty jokes, and she shakes her head with so much love you could see hearts float around her head. It’s so completely normal.
And then she almost drops a whole shelf on herself, he’s quick to swoop in and catch it for her. They put it back in place and carefully let it go, making sure it stays put before she turns to thank him… only he’s about an inch, maybe two from her face.
“That was a close one,” he whispers, staring at her lips. “Would hate to lose you to the soup aisle.”
She can’t help staring back at his lips, wanting to kiss him so goddamn bad she forgets how to breathe for a moment. It’s like time stops while she stares at him and he stares back.
“I’d hate to lose you at all…”
“Why?” Even she’s surprised to hear it come out of her.
He doesn’t say anything, he simply leans in more, and so does she. Meeting him halfway, their lips touch slowly and then all at once. A hand of his cups her face, holding her in place while she holds his sides, pulling him closer so their chests are pressed together.
Breathing each other in deeply, she feels her soul intertwine with his at that moment. Everything makes sense. She was supposed to take this little job and spend all this time with him for this moment right here. It was always supposed to happen.
They were meant to happen.
They pull away with a matching smile, giggling as they come to terms with the fact that just happened… it finally happened.
“You understand what I mean, right?” He teases.
She nods, “yeah… I get it, but could you say it just one more time?”
“Here?” He teases, kissing her cheek. “Or here?” He kisses her jaw next and moves towards her ear, “I could say it all over you if you let me.”
“We’re still at work,” she reminds him, pushing him away slightly before he could kiss her neck and start something he couldn’t finish in the freaking soup aisle.
“Do you want to come over later? To kiss a bit and read more lord of the rings?” He offers, making it sound a lot more innocent than either of them wanted it to be.
“Only if you read the chapter this time,” she teases, heart racing in her chest at the prospect of being alone with him.
Him.
The one and the only crush she’s had for the last 6 years of her life.
He flirts with her more than ever after that, he steals kisses every time he passes her and even serenades the love songs on the speaker to her. She pokes his sides when she passes by him, learning that he’s ticklish and he yelps every time she does it.
In his van on the way home, after not being able to keep their hands off each other most of the night, they have to so he can focus on the road.
“Does this make us more than friends?” She wonders aloud, hoping he had the same worry.
He nods, “I’d hope so… but if you want me to ask, I can?”
He holds her hand in the middle of the centre console again, rubbing his thumb over her hand gently.
“What if I want to do it?” She teases. “I want to make you my boyfriend, I’ve thought about it for years.”
“That’s crazy,” he can’t believe it, shaking his head as he drives a bit faster, wanting to be home with her so bad.
“Why?” She sounds so defeated.
“I never thought you liked me, I thought you were just really smiley… you could’ve been mine this whole time,” he explains just how crazy it was for him. In a very good way.
“I can’t even imagine having a boyfriend in high school,” she admits.
He slows down when he enters the trailer park, follows the poorly plowed path towards his own trailer and parks. Finally turning to her again with a smile, “I’ve never had a girlfriend before either, it’s all really new to me too.”
“Was that your first kiss too?” She whispers, scared that it wasn’t.
She was right.
He shakes his head, “Cheryl Lenetti in grade 7… she liked to pet my head when we made out, she said my hair felt like a seal pup when it was shaved. So fuckin weird.”
It makes her laugh a bit, “I can’t imagine it short…”
“I’ve got pictures,” he assures her, “Wayne’s kept all my life well documented. He likes to tease me and say that he’ll sell the embarrassing ones to the tabloids when my band blows up.”
“I need to see them,” she agrees and lets go of his hand finally, reaching for her door but once again, Eddie rushes out to beat her to it like a bat out of hell.
She shakes her head with an affectionate smile, taking his hand again once outside and carefully treating through the lightly shovelled snow leading up to his trailer. He helps her out of her coat and hangs it up for her, leaving her to kick off her boots and awkwardly stand in his main room. It’s a lot more put together than the last time he visited. like he planned to invite her over, so it was clean this time.
“You want anything to eat?”
She shakes her head, “no… honestly I’m too nervous to eat anything right now.”
“Oh, why?” He moves into her space, hands on her shoulders, slipping down her arms while pulling her in closer.
“You’re handsome and you want to kiss me and I have no idea what I’m doing and— and,” she stops with a sigh and a shrug.
“You’re so fucking cute,” he says with so much affection his smile makes his cheeks hurt. His eyes glisten back at her, and he shakes his head ever so slightly, amazed that she likes him back this much. “You don’t need to be nervous, there’s nothing you could do that would make me stop liking you at this point.”
She takes the plunge this time, she presses her lips against his, holding his waist she wraps her arms around his back and holds him there. He’s shocked at first and then he settles, hand coming up to cup her face as he kisses back. She’s not completely sure what she’s doing, but she’s seen enough movies to imitate what she’s seen. He smiles into the 4th or 5th peck she presses to his lips and pulls back.
“Do you want to go sit down?”
“Like in your room?”
“If you want?”
She nods, cautious as ever but she wants to spend the whole night kissing him. He walks her down the hallway, into his dark room where he flicks on his side table lamp to show off his perfectly made bed and clean-ish room. “Welcome back,” he teases.
“You planned this,” she calls him out. “Did you know you were going to kiss me at work today?”
“Not at all,” he assures her, taking a seat on the edge of his bed. Legs spread so she could stand between them, and she brushes her hands through his hair while he looks up at her. “I was going to ask you to come over, yeah, but kissing you was a surprise to me too… I like you so much it’s fucking crazy.”
“I like you just as much,” she leans in, bumping their noses together with a smile. “You want to teach me how to make out?”
He laughs, scooting up to the head of the bed, resting against the headrest, “you want to lie down or sit in my lap, or what?”
“Um,” she bites her lip, deciding to be daring, she kneels on the bed and straddles his lap. “This is good, right?”
“Absolutely,” he rests his hands on her hips, smoothing his thumbs over the fabric of her pants. “I just want you to be comfortable, princess.”
She rests her forearms on his shoulders, hands in his hair, and she brushes his bangs out of his face to get a good look in his eyes. His big beautiful chocolate brown eyes that she loves so fucking much. “You’re so pretty,” she whispers. “Has anyone ever told you that?”
He shakes his head lightly, “no…”
“There,” she smiles. “You get my first kiss and I get to tell you how pretty you are—
“You can have all my other firsts too,” he whispers, selling his soul to her in the way he stares at her. She knows he’s giving all of himself to her at that moment. “You can have all of me.”
“I— I uh, I think we can start with kissing,” she frightens right up again.
“Sorry,” he runs his hands up her back gently, “I’m not expecting anything… I just wanted you to know there’s a lot I haven’t done with anyone either, I’m just as new to this. We’re on the same level.”
“Not yet,” she finally leans in for another kiss, holding his face in her hands to keep herself steady more than anything.
He licks at her bottom lip, it’s strange but she follows his lead, coming back in with an open mouth their tongues touch for a moment and then he sucks on her tongue. Again and again, they both come back in, exploring each other's mouths while his hands trail up and down her back and she plays with his hair once again.
She doesn’t mean to grind against him, but her hips take over like they have a mind of their own as the pace and rhythm are set with through tongues. He moans into her mouth, pulling back with a shade of embarrassment painted across his cheeks. “sorry…”
“It’s fine,” she’s a little breathless, so enamoured with him.
He stares back at her fondly, taking in how cute she looked with lust-blown eyes and swollen lips, he smiles, “you’re good at this…”
“Feels like it,” she teases, making him think she can feel how hard he’s getting under her and he panics.
“You don’t have to sit on me if it’s uncomfortable, I did’t mean to—
“To what?”
“Get hard…” he whispers, “it’s embarrassing.”
“Oh,” she hovers and looks down between them, more turned on, herself, than she realized, as well. “Oh.”
Maybe I am ready to do this…
She settles back down against him and shakes her head, “no, I’m not uncomfortable… it— it’s nice to know I did that, actually.”
“Can I just—“ he reaches between them and adjusts himself because it was a bit uncomfortable for him, he was hanging to the left and thats where her thigh was rested, and now he’s right under her… “sorry, it hurt a bit.”
“Sorry,” her cheeks heat up, she can feel his girth through his jeans, she has to fight every single urge not to grind down against him again, but she knows it would feel good.
For both of them.
“It’s okay, kiss me again?” He begs, pulling her closer.
Their lips collide again but with much more passion and need this time, knowing what she’s doing a bit better, she’s all over him this round. Biting his lip, making him whine, tugging on his hair, she grinds against him again, not so by accident because his hands on his hips help glide her over himself perfectly. She does it again this time, he gasps into the kiss and rests his forehead against hers as she does it again and again, dragging her hot core over his aching, clothed, cock. There’s so much friction from their jeans, they feel like total fucking teenagers dry humping in his bed like they can’t get enough of each other.
He kisses her jaw and down her neck, he sucks on her pulse point which makes her moan, it's so sweet and sexy that his cock twitches under his jeans in response. She feels it and whines, wanting more from him but not knowing what… it feels so fucking good she wants to just say fuck it and let him take her right here and now, but she’s still scared.
She grinds down a bit harder, the seam of her pants rubbing against her clit just right. “Oh my god,” she’s so out of breath, it feels too good.
“I’m gonna cum in my jeans if you keep this up,” he warns her, breathing against her neck between kisses.
“Me too,” she assures him, doing it again and again, she tugs on his hair to bring his mouth back to hers, wanting to be kissing him when it happens.
His hips come up to meet hers, his hands on her ass this time so he can help her press against him as hard as she can each time she grinds down against him. Her legs tremble a bit, his breathing sputters, and they’re a completely sweaty mess with too many clothes on.
She feels the all too familiar heat build in her stomach and spread throughout her body as she cums with a long drawn-out sigh, which ends more like a moan as he finishes underneath her. His grip on her ass tightens, and he groans deeply as his hips sputter under her, their foreheads resting together as they catch their breath, eyes still closed.
She feels so weightless and free, resting her head on his shoulder instead and cuddling into his chest. “Oh my god?”
His chest still rising and falling heavily, he laughs slightly, “wasn’t expecting that.”
“Me either…” she sighs, playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. “But I liked it.”
“Me too,” he can’t help but smile. His hands roam all over her back, holding her close and soaking up the moment as long as he can. “You wanna stay here tonight?”
She nods against him, not at all ready to leave his side. “I would love to.”
Slowly but surely, they get up, he lets her use the bathroom first, giving her some boxers of his and a t-shirt to wear when she comes back out. He changes quickly in his room, hiding all the evidence of what happened in his dirty laundry hamper. He matches her in a new pair of underwear and the same shirt from before, smiling when she comes back into his room with her things in her hands. She rests them on his dresser, she’d have to wear them again tomorrow when she goes home.
“You’re so cute in my things,” he compliments her, wrapping her up in his arms and kissing her forehead a few times.
“Thanks,” she giggles, completely blown away still that this is all real and he’s her’s and it’s happening.
They get into bed, and she snuggles into him the same way he did with her just last week with the lord of the rings. It’s cute, it feels right, and she feels at home in his arms. He runs his hands over her back. He kisses the top of her head a few times, she plays with the hem of his shirt in her hands and eventually slips her hands under his shirt to play with the slight dusting of hair on his tummy. They’re so content together it’s like they’ve always been this close.
And they always would be too.

Sidelines: Je t’aime
“Let’s go on a vacation.” Steve says one March night as you sit on the couch together. His head is in your lap as you look on your phone for an off season job to do, you don’t love the fact that you don’t have a steady income during the off season.
“What?”
“Let’s go on a vacation.” He repeats glancing up at you.
“Uh, where are you thinking?”
“Can I surprise you?” As sweet as that is it also causes you some panic.
“I don’t know. I’m not getting paid right now so I have to stick to a budget.”
“Oh, no Cat. I meant can I take you on a vacation?”
“Where you pay for everything?”
“Yea,” he sits up then and turns toward you, “I really want to do this if you’ll let me.”
“I don’t know Steve.” You hesitate and he moves closer to you.
“What’s causing you stress Sweetheart?”
“I don’t like the thought of you spending so much money on me.”
“But I have it. I haven’t had anyone to spend money on but my ma and I want to do this.” He tells you taking your hand, “I’m not trying to guilt you but it would make me really happy if you’d let me do this.” How in the hell do you say no to that.
“Nothing crazy.”
“Is that a yes?”
“Yes, let’s go on a vacation.” You tell him and Steve grins over at you before pressing a kiss to your lips.
You’d gotten a little concerned when he asked if you had a passport but Steve wasn’t hearing it. You thought maybe you were going to an island or to Mexico but when he told you to bring clothes for cooler weather, forties to sixties, you’d been stumped. Steve was being tight lipped.
“Okay, we’re in the car. On the way to the airport, where are we going?”
“You’ll see soon.” He says and that’s all you can coax out of him. Then you pull up to the private jet and your mouth drops open.
“Steve! I said nothing crazy!” You protest and he presses a kiss to your palm.
“Sweetheart, we’re dropping off some friends in other cities first. I didn’t pay for this on my own.”
“Who?”
“Clint and Nat, Parker and MJ and Pepper and Tony.”
“Where are we dropping them off?”
“Can’t tell you that Sweetheart. And don’t try to ask any of them because they know this trip is a surprise.” He says just before getting out of the car. You glare at him for a moment then climb out too, you just want to know where in the world you’re going.
The flight is nice, Pepper and Tony work, Nat and Clint flirt, MJ and Peter sleep and you and Steve watch a movie while you talk softly. He still hasn’t told you where you’re going but Pepper and Tony are dropped off in Florida, on one of the keys. Nat and Clint go to South Carolina, MJ and Peter are New York and you and Steve, head across the Atlantic.
“Will you please tell me now?” You ask softly as you and Steve stretch out on the couch.
“You don’t want to wait?”
“Honestly Steve, I’m kinda stressing out over here.” He presses a kiss to the top of your head and you relax further into him.
“I’m sorry Sweetheart, I didn’t mean to stress you out. We’re going to France.”
“Steve! How is that not extravagant?” You demand and he runs a gentle hand down your spine.
“Sweetheart, it’s off season so everything is cheaper.”
“This feels like a lot.”
“I know, which is why I didn’t tell you. We’re going to Paris though, and it’s spring so it’s not going to be super warm or anything. This way I was able to convince Tony to let us leave Happy at home too.” Ever since the incident with Christian Tony has been more insistent about you and Steve having Happy tail you.
“You promise it wasn’t super expensive?”
“Cross my heart. I can show you what I paid when we get back.”
“I trust you.” You tell him, and you do, he wouldn’t lie to you about this and then offer to show you what it cost. “Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me yet, what if you hate it?” He teases and you can’t help but roll your eyes at him.
“Doubtful. It is Paris after all.” You tell him before closing your eyes, “I love you.”
“I love you too Sweetheart.” He murmurs then you both fall asleep.
When you get to Paris it’s nighttime. The air is cool and crisp and when you get to the hotel you both take a quick shower then go back to bed, when you wake there’s a note on the pillow next to you.
Sweetheart,
Went to get some breakfast. Text me if you want anything specific, I’m getting baguettes.
Love,
Steve
You smile then get up and get ready for the day. Your French isn’t great but you’ll hopefully be able to navigate okay. You’re not sure if Steve speaks French or any other language so you might be the one doing the translating. You hear the door open from the balcony where you can see the Eiffel Tower, it’s cold but sunny, when you glance over your shoulder you can’t help but smile at how fucking fine Steve looks.
He has a dark grey peacoat on, with a black shirt and black pants underneath and god he looks a treat.
“Hey Sweetheart, how’d you sleep?”
“Like the dead. You look incredible.” He grins at you before gently pulling you to him and kissing you soundly.
“I feel like that was my line, you’re so beautiful.” He murmurs and you laugh softly.
“Nope, you brought breakfast so I get to say it.” He laughs and tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear.
“Should we plan what we want to do while we eat?”
That’s what you do, you pick a few museums, a trip to the Champs Élysées, Steve has a couple of restaurants that he’s already placed reservations and you have a day trip planned to go out of the city.
It’s a whirlwind, the trip is amazing and you fall into bed completely exhausted every day, you didn’t think that you could love Steve more but you somehow do. He’s so sweet and kind and god you love him.
“I got you somethin.” He says softly on your last afternoon, “for dinner tonight I have a private chef coming and then we’re gonna go to the Eiffel Tower for dessert.” He says before sliding a little Tiffany blue bag toward you. Your heart leaps into your throat as you look at that little bag. “Sweetheart it’s not a snake.” He says with a little smile.
“No it’s a Tiffany bag.”
“It is.” He agrees, “here,” he says before pulling a long box out of the bag and you feel like you can breathe again. He holds out the box to you and then opens it and inside is a diamond bracelet.
“Steve. This is stunning. Way over budget but absolutely gorgeous.”
“Sweetheart, it wasn’t too much okay? If you wouldn’t kill me I’d have bought you a new car too.” You narrow your eyes at him and he laughs. “Please Sweetheart, one of my love languages is gifts.” Those blue eyes of his could probably convince you to do anything and the bracelet is gorgeous the clasp is a four pronged flower clasp.
“Put it on for me?” You ask and he grins at you before taking the bracelet out of the box and with gentle hands he clips it around your wrist. “Thank you.” You tell him leaning over the table to press a kiss to his lips.
“Of course Sweetheart. You almost ready to go?”
“I just want to change my pants then I’ll be ready. Are jeans okay or should I wear some dress pants?”
“Dress pants would be better.” You nod and grab your black dress pants that fit almost like a yoga pant and pull on your white deep v-neck white top with loose arms. You put on some black pumps and brush your hair then grab your coat and purse.
“I’m ready.” You tell Steve and he lets out a low whistle.
“Hot damn Sweetheart you look incredible.” He breathes and you can’t help but chuckle softly.
“Thank you, so do you.” And he does in his light blue dress pants and lavender button up.
“Thank you Sweetheart, you ready?”
“I am.” You tell him, the two of you head out of the hotel and walk hand in hand for a couple blocks. Steve speaks French fluently which you’d been pleasantly surprised by, and it never ceases to make butterflies flit through your stomach.
Dinner is incredible and afterwards you take a taxi to the Eiffel Tower where you ride the empty elevator up until you can’t anymore. You head for the railing that overlooks the city and Steve stands behind you, one of his hands rest on either side of you on the railing. His body is warm behind yours and you lean back into him with a happy sigh. “Je t’aime.” He murmurs into your ear and you feel your cheeks heat up. You turn your head and press a kiss to his jaw and Steve grins. “Sweetheart are you blushing?”
“No! I’m just cold.” You lie and he chuckles softly not buying your lie for a second.
“You’re blushing so hard. All I said was I love you in French.”
“Yea, in French!”
“You like when I speak French?” He asks in French and you bite back a groan, you’ve never been so grateful for your high school French class.
“It’s very sexy.” You admit and Steve chuckles lowly into your ear. “Say it again?”
“Je t’aime.” He whispers before pressing a soft kiss to your jaw under your ear.
God you love him.

Warnings: Kinda smutty for a minute. Minors DNI. Drunken Sex. TW: Manipulative Family Relationships. TW: Body Image Issues
A/N: This story has been rolling around in my head for a while now. I might rewrite this and repost. Or I might just post the whole thing soon. I dunno yet. It does get smuttier.
Word Count: 4,974
"What's up with Y/N?"
Eijiro stepped out of the locker room with a towel slung over his shoulder and made his way into the kitchenette where Mina was chugging a bottle of water before getting back to her patrol. His eyes were trained on their mutual friend out on the patio, pacing.
You had your phone pressed to your ear, the high neck of your hero costume unzipped to your collarbone and he noticed your gloves discarded on a chair.
"No clue." Mina shrugged. "She got back from patrol and she noticed a bunch of missed calls from her mom. She's been out there, flailing on the phone for the last fifteen minutes now."
The three of you had met in your second year at UA when you transferred into their class and were quickly accepted by their little squad of friends. You were a bit quiet at first but quickly found comfort in the group. Eijiro had grown especially close to you when you both interned with Fat Gum.
Late nights traveling on the train back to school, a few close calls while helping patrol, and days spent playing cards while you both healed up in the hospital left plenty of time for Eijiro to get to know you better than most. It was how he knew you had a pretty bad relationship with your family, why you hated returning home for the holidays almost as much as you hated any and all forms of tomatoes.
He considered going out there just to see if there was anything he could do but before he had the chance, you were sliding the glass door open. "Oh, good, you're back." He offered you a bottle of water for your throat that he assumed was sore after that argument. "I- um- can I borrow you for a second? Alone?"
Mina snorted a laugh. "If you guys wanna bang it out on the counter you can just say so. I gotta go to work anyways."
Eijiro threw the towel at her as she left the room leaving you two alone. "What's goin' on?"
You hoisted yourself up on the countertop while he leaned against the fridge. "You remember my cousin's wedding that's happening this winter?"
He nodded. He vividly remembered the both of you getting waste a few weeks ago when you were filling out the RSVP and accidentally marking 'plus one'. Then you ran around trying to find White Out but he'd told you if you didn't find a date or have a significant other by the time of the wedding, he'd just go with you.
You argued that your family was bat shit crazy, had more money than they could spend in their lifetime and because of that, they were among some of the rudest people you knew, and you didn't want Eijiro or anyone else around that.
The thing was, Eijiro already knew that and was still okay with going. He came from money too. A lot of it. His family was just more welcoming than yours, the wealth never really going to their heads. But, he reminded you that he'd ran into enough people like those in your family that he knew how to handle them. You finally agreed to let him accompany you, leaving the plus one box checked but the name line blank.
"Well, my cousin just found out that surprise, she's pregnant! And, obviously, she can't have a wedding while seven months along so they've decided to move the wedding up to this weekend."
He nearly choked on his own spit. "This weekend? As in four days from now?"
"Yup! Saturday at 4 in the evening. Oh! No one's supposed to know she's pregnant either. So, I'm just supposed to compliment her on how flattering her dress looks, how thin she is," Your hands strangled the water bottle between them, "And I have to find something flattering to my figure because my mother has seen me in my hero outfit and she's so glad I wear a mask because if anyone knew her daughter ran around looking like I do, well, it'd ruin her!"
You massaged your temples circling back to the actual point, "Anyways, I just wanted to bitch for a sec and let you know you're off the hook since four days is just a little short notice and I told her my plus one wouldn't be able to get the time off that fast."
He pushed off the fridge. "Well, wait, hang on! I'm not letting you go in alone to deal with them! Hell no! You need backup!" You looked almost taken aback by his abruptness, "Yeah. I can work this out. Is the wedding at the same place it was supposed to be or has it moved?"
"No, it's still that fancy lodge in California. I was planning on leaving Friday morning and then coming back either Sunday night or Monday morning since my mother insists I go to their brunch the following day. But, Eijiro, I already have this weekend off..."
"Denki owes me a favor or twelve. He's supposed to be off this weekend too, I'll just see if he can cover me."
"And if he can't?"
"Then..." He pressed the back of his hand to his forehead, "Y/N, am I feeling warm to you? I think I might be starting a fever!"
You folded your arms, shaking your head, "Thought you said lying isn't manly."
"Technically, correct. But, what would be real unmanly is for me to let you deal with your family's bullshit all alone." You watched him closely, "To be honest, I'm sure we could just explain you had a family thing come up and asked me to come along for moral support. I don't really think anyone would think twice about it. Hell, you took a few days off to console me when my turtle died suddenly!"
"Eiji, you refused to eat."
"And you brought me my favorite dumplings! Same thing!"
You might have shaken your head at him but your arms opened wide. The telltale sign you wanted affection. He walked forward, consuming you in a tight hug. Your arms latched around his neck, face buried in the hollow of his throat. "You're the best."
"I just do what I can."
>>><<<
You should have canceled. Instead of Eijiro faking sick to get out of work, you should have faked it with your mother so you didn't have to go in the first place. You crumpled to the floor of your bedroom in pure frustration amidst the twenty or so outfits and dozen pairs of shoes you'd thrown out of your closet trying to find something that your mother would deem appropriate.
It wasn't your fault you had a fuller figure. You worked out, ate right, not to mention your job kept you very active, and yet your, hips, ass, and breasts were by no means subtle.
Your mother had also insisted on the dress being floor-length and modern, "Do try not wearing all black. It's a wedding, not a funeral. And, get your hair looking natural, please." And, just like that, 70% of your wardrobe was out the window!
"It's open!" You called from the floor when the doorbell rang.
"You really should lock this." Mina tutted, walking through the door with a bag full of takeout.
"I do. At night."
"Honey, it's 9 PM."
"Night like bedtime."
Mina just rolled her eyes and walked into your tiny kitchen. "I see the dress hunt is going well."
"I actually figured it out!" You got off the floor, careful not to step on a heel as you made your way to the pink haired woman, "I'm just gonna go in my birthday suit. I figured, my mother made my body technically therefore she can't disapprove of it. Because, you know, she's never done anything wrong in her life!"
Your best friend snorted out a laugh and passed you the take-out container stuffed full of stir fry. "you're a wonderful person, you know that?" You loved the fact Mina didn't even have to ask what you wanted.
"If you'd just move closer to work then you could pick it up yourself and I wouldn't have to bring it to you."
"Too expensive." You declared after a mouthful. "You pay almost twice as much as I do per month and I just don't see the point. I have damn near the same amount of space you do for half the cost!"
You adored your small one-bedroom apartment. It was perfect. Right above a bakery that you visited each morning after your run and a little balcony that provided you with the most stunning view of the sunset.
"You and Kiri, I swear." Mina just shook her head and curled up with her food on the loveseat. "I thought he'd end up with the biggest house out of us all the moment we started making that real Pro money. You've seen his parent's house. It's massive! You could get lost in that place!"
Eijiro's place was barely bigger than your own. He lived in the same condo he had since you'd graduated UA, claiming it was perfect for him in each and every way. But, you knew that he donated a sizable amount of his paycheck every month to charities, the same as you. With savings to spare, neither of you saw the point in hoarding it and therefore the small condo was all he could afford with what he actually kept.
"Just don't understand how a guy that big can live in such a tiny little space. At least with you, it's you know, physically feasible."
Eijiro's bedroom was barely large enough to fit the king-sized bed the man needed to sleep comfortably and even then, his feet were dangerously close to dangling off the bed. And, as if the man's ears were burning, your cell phone went off under a pile of discarded shoes.
Shark-E: Figured out your dress situation? If not, I'm just gonna pack like ten different ties and hope for the best.
You: Yeah! I totally did! I'm just gonna wear this birthday suit I got and call it a night.
You chuckled at your own joke all over again. Watching the grey ellipses appear and then vanish, appear and vanish again. After a third time, you took pity on the man.
You: Joking, Ei. I still don't have it figured out but Mina's over so, hopefully, she can help.
Shark-E: Gonna give me a damn heart attack! Seriously, I wouldn't put it past you just to see the look on your mom's face. Tell Mina hi and good luck to you. I vote the dress from the Hero Gala two years ago.
You: Hi from Mina. Can't. Too much boobs.
Shark-E: You take that back right now! There is NEVER such a thing as too much boobs!
You chuckled to yourself, putting your phone down, and then finished off the last of your delicious dinner, thinking about the dress Eijiro mentioned.
You wondered if maybe there was a way you could make the thing work but it was so very low cut. So much tape had been used to make sure no slips happened but damn was it worth it! The beaded bodice with the sparkling long sleeves, gods, how you loved that dress.
"I'm inclined to agree with our shark boy. You're busty, who gives a damn. You looked hot as hell in that dress."
"My mother, that's who. As much as I'd like to not give a flying fuck what she thinks, for some dumb reason, I do. On top of her telling me that the amount of cleavage I would show would be vastly inappropriate for a wedding, she'd also say the way it hugs my hips makes them look too fat."
Mina rolled her eyes. "She's such a piece of work." Pushing herself up, she held her arms out to you, wiggling little pink fingers for you to take. "Come on then. Let's get you sorted."
"What about that one you wore to the charity art thingy with Kyoka last winter? The one with the silver top."
"Silver is too close to white." You called out from within your closet.
"What! Not true!"
"You know that. I know that. Every person with two brain cells knows that, which is why most of my family does not know that."
"Fine..." She whined and started sifting through the opposite end of your closet. "Oh, what about this?" Mina waved about the blue and green plaid skirt that made up your uniform from your middle school days when you lived in America. "Please try this on. I'm begging!"
You were pretty sure it wouldn't even go over your thighs anymore.
"It's got a better chance of fitting you!"
Mina threw it at you anyway. Slipping off the sweats you wore, somehow, someway, you were able to tug it on AND get it zipped, barely. It no longer covered your ass but you still enjoyed the way it swished around when you wiggled your hips.
"You could be fulfilling so many people's fantasies right now." Mina mused.
You pulled the skirt off and sweats back on, throwing the former back at her. "Yeah, you can take it and go fulfill Hanta's fantasies if you like. Not like I've got anyone to impress." You pulled down a dress you bought on sale a year ago but Mina was quick to dismiss it.
Too puffy, she said and then held up one that was from Momo. "I needed to get it shortened and I don't have time for that now."
"Wait..." She hummed and dropped the Momo dress. "I know what it should be!"
Mina hurried through the closet, grumbling about not finding it. "Just tell me which dress and I can tell you where it's at."
"It's that one you got for grad night and then you got sick and couldn't go!"
"Mina, Mina I can't wear that! That's actual vintage, not like, made-to-look-vintage!"
"But it's so elegant and has that off-the-shoulder sleeve thing. The wedding is at a damn sky lodge! It'll look so pretty in the snow! Ah! Found it!"
She yanked up the long, elegant gown from the garment bag you'd never removed it from. There wasn't a single wrinkle in the burgundy fabric. It looked just as beautiful as the day you found it in that second-hand store, on a mannequin with gaudy stage jewels that you just had to buy so the look was complete.
You ran the back of your hand over the velvety fabric, soft to the touch. "It'll be too tight now. If I was the same size I was at graduation-"
"Bullshit!" Mina cut you off with a dismissive hand, "You've got hips now. We aren't 18 anymore! It's not like it's some clubbing dress. And I bet no one would say a damn thing about your figure if they knew how easily you could crush them with those thighs!"
A smirk tugged at the corner of your lips. Without quirks, you gave every single one of your classmates a run for their money in hand to hand. Most were fairly easy to beat. You could usually take down Eijiro in about five or six minutes and Katsuki in half the time. Funny enough, it was Ochaco that gave you the hardest time.
"I'll consider it. But help me find something else just in case."
>>><<<
It was another two hours before you finally agreed on an a-line, empire waist green and gold number that had been the bridesmaid's dresses for Tetsutetsu's wedding. Mina thought they were a crime the first time they had to wear them, she had no idea what you were thinking.
That's why the moment you were preoccupied with trying to find yet another dress for the Sunday brunch, Mina pulled out her phone.
You: DO NOT, under any circumstances, allow Y/N to wear the green dress. She's bringing two because she can't decide. Red is the winner!
Jaws: Aw, come on. If she likes it, let her wear whatever she's comfortable in. She'll be under enough stress already.
You: Kirishima, it's the dress from Tetsu's wedding. The one that looks sparkly baby food.
It took him a second to respond.
Jaws: Alright. Understood. I thought you guys looked good but damn, she hated that dress.
You: We all did.
Mina looked at the message chain again and couldn't help but asked, "Are we just gonna ignore the fact that you and Eiji are flying all the way to America, last minute, to attend a wedding together, even though you're not together?"
"We've flown to the states before."
"For work!" She sat up eagerly. "This is different, Y/N! This is a date and not just a, like, casual date but a wedding date!"
You poked your head out of the closet. "No, it isn't. This is a friend helping another friend who stupidly mismarked an RSVP." You corrected very plainly but Mina wasn't one to give up so easily.
She whined, dragging out your name, "You guys have been doing this thing for ages. Why do you have to be so stubborn about it all!"
"What's that supposed to mean!"
Mina started ticking off points on her fingers. "He was the first person you opened up to at UA. You saved his life when he was busy saving Katsuki's life second year. You spent all that time interning together, became sidekicks together. Went to America together for three whole months, ALONE, and you honestly expect me to think there's nothing between the two of you!"
The truth of it all was simple really; 17 year old you had a massive crush on Eijiro Kirishima. He was sweet, always listening to you, providing comfort when you needed it, and always encouraging you to push your limits. He was bright and honest, a little slow in the head from time to time but that made him all the more endearing.
He was also head over heels in love with Katsuki Bakugo.
It was why you never made a move. Never spoke a word of the feelings you harbored. You didn't dare to cross that line with him because you couldn't ever hold a candle to the explosive man.
In the three years Eijiro and Katsuki spent together, your brain finally started registering Eijiro as just a friend, nothing more, and certainly nothing less. You thought your heart had followed suit but it was becoming more and more apparent that wasn't the case. Because the night he showed up at your door, tears in his ruby eyes, every lock you put on your heart broke open.
The same way you couldn't hold a candle to Katsuki, Eijiro couldn't hold one to Izuku. You knew exactly what he was feeling even if you never intended to tell him. Too overcome with fear. If Katsuki came back... that'd be it. Eijiro would go back and you wouldn't even blame him!
Still, the redhead consumed a decent chunk of your heart though, you couldn't deny that after the three months you spent together in America, gathering intel on a smuggling ring, living in the same apartment. The groggy, 'good mornings' when his voice was still scratchy with sleep, hair falling in his eyes. The late nights bandaging wounds and killing cheap bottles of wine while watching terrible American reality shows.
It was those bottles of wine that did you in on your second to last night in America. Supplying you with courage and draining your sense of reason, allowing you to crawl onto his lap, into his arms. You could still remember the pressure of his lips on yours, those sharp teeth gently dragging along your lower lip.
Scared hands tracing the curve of your ass before taking handfuls to squeeze. The laugh that came from you was unlike anything you heard before, something so genuine that you couldn't reproduce.
How it felt when he lifted you up and took you to his bed, laying you down taking his time removing your clothes, and watching with awe as you pulled away his own. The way he looked over top of you, his hair a curtain of red around you just before you closed your eyes, gasping while he filled you.
You also remembered the guilt that crept into your head during the wee hours of the morning, the doubt that was louder than the snores coming from behind you.
It made you slip from under his massive arm, gather up your clothes from his floor, you tucked the blanket around him, and pressed a kiss to his temple before padding out of the room.
You told yourself you'd talk to him about it if he brought it up, but he never did. Not the next morning, or night, not on the plane ride back home, nor anytime since. It was a memory you'd hold close to your heart, one you wouldn't let slip away or share.
"There's nothing there, Mina. We're just good friends is all." You lied with a smile on your face, something that had become surprisingly easy to do.
If only you knew that Mina saw right through it. That Mina already knew the truth of it all.
>>><<<
It was nearly one in the morning when your phone rang. The goofy picture of Eijiro with face half painted at a festival a few years back never failed to make you grin.
"It's a little late." You answered by way of greeting.
"Don't pretend like you were anywhere close to sleeping, you little night owl."
Chuckling at the nickname that had followed you since high school, "What's up, Eiji?"
"I was going over flights. You said in the office that you wanted to leave on Friday?"
"Yeah. I have patrol tomorrow and I didn't find any flights after 6 PM so, Friday is the earliest."
He was quiet on the other line for a moment. "Yeah, you don't have patrol tomorrow, or work at all for that matter."
You sat up a bit straighter in bed. "Um, yes I do."
"No, you don't. I called Mina, asked her if you'd mind taking that shift for you and, since she knows what's happening, she agreed the extra day for travel would do you some good. So, she's covering you tomorrow then you're off work until next Wednesday. As for me, thanks to all that overtime I put in when Denki, Kyoka, and Hitoshi got married, the three of them are splitting up my days so I have until Wednesday too."
Eijiro sounded impossibly proud on the other line, you could almost see the smirk on his face. "You've got this all planned out, don't you?"
"And a bag nearly packed. Just need you to tell me what ties to bring."
"Gold, burgundy, and black."
"Thought your mom said no black for you?"
"She said no black for the wedding. She said nothing about black at the brunch!"
You couldn't wait to put on the tea-length dress that had been a favorite for years. Satin with a lacy top and, best of all, pockets.
He let out a rumbling laugh that fell off into comfortable silence as you laid back in your bed, lights still on, the room still a mess. You tapped the speaker icon and laid the phone on the pillow right beside your head, listing to the various sounds of Eijiro moving around.
A door creaking open, a hanger clattering against another, and a zipper. "And just like that, I'm all set."
"Don't forget your passport or hero license."
"I have one in my wallet and the other in my backpack."
You swiped up on your iPad, off Netflix, and going to google, lazily searching through flights. "So, did you find any good flights since you've clearly been looking?"
Another chuckle, "Eijiro, why are you laughing?" More stifled giggles had you sitting up in bed again. "Just tell me a site you were on. They're just flights, what's so funny?"
"There isn't a site."
"You said you were checking flights."
"And I was... on my family's jet."
"Eiji! No! No, no, no! That is supposed to be for their business or hero things! My stupid cousin's wedding is neither of those things!"
"Relax, Y/N. My family has multiple and they don't have any business trips planned right now anyways. I already cleared it with my mom. Seriously, I just mention your name and she's likely to let me have it for a whole year at least. Plus Todoroki's is back up in working order so the agency is covered too."
Damn, why'd he have to be so good at planning from time to time! You'd completely forgotten about the second jet his family had. Always opting for the larger one since the few missions they needed it for required them to bring fifty or so heroes along.
"Besides, if we fly private, we can land at an airstrip closer to the venue and won't need to drive four hours on top of a ten-hour flight."
"Alright, okay, thank you but, let me take care of the rental car, please. It's the least you can let me do."
"Deal. I just have one more question for ya."
"What's that?"
"Wanna leave tonight?"
You nearly dropped your damn iPad in shock. "Eijiro! What the fuck has gotten into you! It's the middle of the night!"
"I'm excited!" He boomed, "I haven't had a vacation in months!"
"I hate to break this to you, buddy, but this isn't going to be a vacation. You really shouldn't get your hopes up. This isn't going to be a good time with laughs and fun memories... my family, they just, they aren't those kinds of people."
"But we are." He stated matter-of-factly. "If they want to have sticks up their asses then let them! We'll have a good time on our own, laugh and make fun memories! So, what do you say, Y/N? I can be at your place in fifteen. I just gotta put shoes on and grab my keys..."
"Wait, hang on. Are you forgetting that we need someone to, oh, I dunno, FLY THE PLANE! Actually, we need two someone's, can't forget about a co-pilot!"
He hummed happily and you rubbed your temples. "You, you have a pilot and a co, don't you, Eiji?"
"Mhm! There is a company we use. Two can be at the hanger in an hour and every hour after that. I just have to make the call and get the flight plan approved which will be done before I even get to your house."
There was literally no reason to say no. You had mostly everything packed, nothing you needed to get from the store, all you had to do was put on pants and pack up your hygiene bag and you were ready too. Maybe getting there quicker and getting the whole thing over with would be better than staying home dwelling on everything.
"Better put your shoes on."
The glee in his voice, that was enough to make this whole thing worth it, "I'll see you soon."
>>><<<
Eijiro reached into the backseat and plopped a bag down on your lap the very moment you were buckled in. "Had to make a pit stop." He explained.
"It's after two in the morning, where'd you have to..."
"Just open the bag and don't complain."
You found it filled to the brim with all your favorite snacks.
"I'm sure the plane will have a bunch of snacks we can raid but I know for a fact they don't have these." He held up a pack of cookies and creme flavored pocky that had been his favorite for as long as you'd known him, quickly followed by your favorite flavor too. You also found a massive bag of gummy worms and jolly ranchers.
"So, what you're telling me is our teeth are going to rot by the time we land? Not that I'm complaining."
You ripped open the bag of ranchers knowing that was what he'd go for first and sure enough his hand dove inside just as he pulled away from the curb. You could hear his dangerously sharp teeth biting through the rock candy like it was nothing while you still rolled one around your mouth.
Eijiro asked you about the resort you'd be going to, wondering if you'd been there before or what other stuff you guys could do when you weren't dealing with your family. "I figured we could fly back Monday night or Tuesday morning, you know, just play it by ear in case there was anything else we wanted to do."
More than anything, you wished you could just leech a little bit of that excitement from him. The glimpses of his smile you caught as you drove under the street lights made your heart ache.
"What?" He asked with that wide smile of his. You'd been caught staring, red-handed.
"I, uh, I just don't know what to tell you."
You could see the subtle change of his grin, watch as it softened and his hand came to rest on your thigh. "Hey, it's gonna be fine! And if we run into them while out doing stuff, you can just avoid them or hide behind me!" At least hiding behind Eijiro is an easy thing to do, damn mountain of a man.
His thumb slowly brushed back and forth. "'S gonna be okay. I'll beat 'em up if they're assholes!"
You snickered at his Katsuki impression and let the drone of the radio fill the air around you both. Enjoying the silence the rest of the way to the hanger with Eijiro's hand atop your leg.

“Grandma… pls stop working I can handle this” she sigh and she supported her grandma to her room, gently sitting her down “but I don’t want you to suffer honey, find a man and enjoy your youth not spending your time with an old woman like me” Y/n gently grabbed her grandma’s shoulders looking at her with sad eyes “But I chose to take care of you granny, you toke care of me when I was young now its my turn, ok?” her grandma sigh in defeat “at least you some of the money you earn for yourself too”
“Ehh?? But that’s for you medicine” she giggled “don’t worry about me grandma” she then left the room looking back to her grandma and gently closing the door
…I didn’t eat anything today
She is messy but she's kind
“Y/n…” she looked behind her smiling slightly “Mr.zhongli… I haven’t see you in a while” Zhongli looked at her sharply with his amber eyes “amm… Mr. Zhongli??”
“Your not taking care of yourself” he then made her look forward gently brushing her hair with his fingers, her cheeks went red trying to distract herself from the way he was brushing her hair “And pls just call me Zhongli… we have been friends for so long”
“What ever you say then… Zhongli” She slyly replied back
Truly she was really falling her for him…
She is lonely most of the time
Y/n looked at Zhongli and Ningguang as they talked together drinking tea oh so flawlessly, she felt a small pang on her chest… ah yes she was hurt, for what?? For the way the two of them looked like they were meant for each other. Lady Ningguang is part of the Liyue Qixing, how can she compete to someone with such high status and someone so damn beautiful…
She couldn’t even make enough mora to feed herself 3 times a day… Truly she knows she was not enough for someone like Mr. Zhongli, the most respected man in Liyue Harbor for his gentle yet so eye catching aura
“…we have been friends for so long”
Yes… friends, just friends nothing more nothing less. She shouldn’t feel this kind of feeling towards him
She is all of this mixed up
“Y/n right?? I heard so much of you from Mr. Zhongli” the reader turned around and was meet with a dull yet so full pair of blue eyes “you… your childe right?” the ginger laughed “Yep”
For a few seconds, silence filled the room…
“You don’t look ok” Y/n sigh and looked at childe “Do I really look miserable right now?” he chuckled and patted the top of her head “Don’t worry, Im just good at reading people”
Once again silence filled the room…
“You can let it out if you want, I wont tell a soul” the harbinger’s eyes soften as Y/n’s eyes become teary “Theres just so many things happening right now… my grandma’s sickness is becoming worse and this stupid feelings I feel to… forget it”
“Its ok Y/n let it out” he said as he put her in a warm tight embrace
This is…
And baked in a beautiful pie
“CHILDE!!! GET BACK HERE!!” The ginger laughed as he carried tha packages she was suppose to deliver, day by day the two seems to get closer and closer together, they even tell each other secrets no one else knows “CATCH ME IF YOU CAN PRINCESS!!” The female groaned
“DON’T CALL ME THAT YOU DAMN GINGER”
She is gone but she used to be mine
Amber eyes stared at the two, laughing at teasing each other. Yes, he felt jealous, perhaps he really did feel something towards her… the way her eyes shine everytime she smiles, her hair that’s so soft to touch, how hard working she is…
Yes he did love her but it seems its too late…

Can I angst for Mammon where he is in a really bad mood and his brothers are at it again calling him names. And already ask them kindly to leave him alone but they keep at it. And Levi says something and it's the last straw. The air around them get cold for a moment as he slowly looks up and he flat out threatens them to shut up before he puts them back into there place with a really dark and threatening voice, before leaving. And the look could rival Satan's or even Lucifers glare.
I think Mammon takes the abuse of his brothers but sometimes he isn't in the mood and want a little peace and it is very very rare for him to get pissed
Like he's the kind of person who would yell when he's upset but when he's down right pissed it's like really fucking scary
People forget that as much as he lets his brothers push him around he is still the second oldest and is powerful so 😬
Brothers+ undateables reaction
Mammon snaps:
___________________
This is something I’ve mentioned in previous posts, but I basically second everything you said. I believe that Mammon dislikes getting into confrontations but isn’t by any means weak or stupid. He is the second eldest. However he is also, arguably, the one with the most self control out of them all. He has an overwhelming amount of patience when it comes to his siblings and I like to think he puts up with all of their insults because he loves them. Then again, it’s very possible for him to go berserk after years worth of build up.
Thanks for the request!!! I had a bit of trouble at first because I didn’t know how I was going to format it but I like the way it turned out so I hope you do too. Uhh also I reached my word limit writing this so I couldn’t include Simon, Luke and Solomon. I do plan on writing for them as well but at this point I’m just trying to get this done. Let me know if I made any grammatical errors! I double check my writing all the time but sometimes mistakes got over my head! The undateables are short because honestly I view the brothers as the ones who will suffer the most out of everyone. I hope you enjoy reading it anyway!!
•Characters: Lucifer, Leviathan, Satan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, Belphagour, Diavolo, Barbatos.
⚠️Warnings: Cursing, mentions of blood & gore and that’s about it.
___________________
For the past few months, Lord Diavolo’s pleasure of hosting parties and inviting people over had become more and more noticeable. It was pretty obvious that the Prince was lonely, isolating himself from others due to the responsibilities he has as the heir to the throne and a leader in the making. Attending his gatherings seemed like a down right chore for most of the brothers but you never had any problem tagging along. Besides, it felt nice knowing he seemed you worthy of coming to such important meetings. Your seven demons were, of course, also invited and per Lucifer’s orders, they all got cleaned up and dressed in fancy clothing to impress the regals prancing about the castle. Though the outfits themselves came with their own set of problems. Levi’s was way too tight; the collar seemed to annoy him more than anything else, judging by the patches of red skin on his neck. Satan accidentally ripped one of the buttons from his jacket off in a fit of rage earlier that day and was now silently fuming while poking his finger through the hole he made. Even Asmo spilled some water on his shirt before they arrived, ruining his pretty pink suit! Not to mention Beel was munching on his tie, having last eaten about 15 minutes beforehand. Lucifer pulled it out of his mouth and scowled at the saliva stains that were left behind. Safe to say they were all in a miserable mood to begin with.
“I expect all of you to behave in a respectable manner,” Lucifer flicked Belphie on the back of the head just as he began dozing off, making the youngest growl at him. He shot Mammon an irritated look “I’m especially talking to you Mammon. Don’t try to steal anything or I’ll cut your hands off.”
“I told ya big bro, ya don’t have to worry about me! I’ll be a golden child today! Promise!” Mammon held up his pinky as if he was committing to some kind of oath. The eldest darkened his glare and opened his mouth to say something else, but you interrupted in hopes of avoiding any bickering that might’ve followed.
“Look, there’s our table! Let’s go sit down. Lord Diavolo’s speech is going to start any minute now.”
Beel leaped at the table as soon as he sniffed out the appetisers, which were neatly arranged on the expensive tablecloth, shoving at least half of them in his mouth by the time the rest of you caught up with him. Having been seated, you quickly glanced around the room in hopes of spotting Diavolo. You bumped into Solomon and the angels before entering the castle, chit chatting with them for a while about the event. Even now, Luke was excitedly waving at you from across the room, using both of his arms. However, Lord Diavolo and Barbatos were the ones in charge of this party and you were yet to see either of them.
Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed Mammon eyeing the golden utensils laid out in front of him. Not the biggest of surprises really. Anytime Mammon sees something along the lines of gold, he can’t help but snatch it away. And there’s obviously so many valuables scattered all over the place, including the silverware that was proudly presented on every table. You sucked in a breath of anticipation when he reached for one of the spoons, only to exhale in relief when he placed it on the bridge of his nose, trying to balance it.
“MC, look at this!” He tapped your shoulder, as always wanting your full and undivided attention as he demonstrated his newfound skill. You giggled at his antics with fondness as he accidentally let the spoon drop with a clatter and a quiet ‘shit’ coming from him. Lucifer pulled on his ear, like a mother scolding her child and whisper-yelled at him to stop acting like an idiot. The only reason the oldest chose a sit right next to Mammon was to maintain order and peace. Basically, he did it for disciplinary reasons.
“I understand that being impertinent is your full-time job, Mammon but keep this up and I’ll throw you in Cerberus’ room. Let him do with you as he pleases.”
“Lucifer, it’s not a big deal-“
“Yeah, OK,” Mammon hissed, picking up the spoon from the recently polished floor with a slight grin that didn’t quiet reach his eyes “I gotcha. Can-“
“Speaking of Cerberus,” Levi suddenly piped in, no longer fussing about his collar or nervously twiddling with his thumbs because of the massive crowd of demons surrounding him “Didn’t you force me to walk him last week when it was your turn to do it?? I only agreed because you promised to buy me the newest Ruri-Chan limited edition body pillow that came out last Tuesday! And you never did! And now they’re out of stock, you scummy piece of-“
The third eldest would’ve leapt across the table and aimed for the throat if you hadn’t pressed a gentle hand against his chest, making him sit back down with a huff. People were starting to stare at the commotion coming from your table, turning heads and muttering between themselves. You were slowly dying from embarrassment by the way, since you guys definitely became the topic of conversation for the other guests. The brothers were being too noisy to even notice and Lucifer himself was too preoccupied to see the scene they were creating which made you further slouch down into your chair, silently hoping for the ground to swallow you whole. The night really wasn’t going as intended. You could hear Solomon laughing at the brothers’ antics from three tables down.
“I guess that’s Mammon for you,” Belphie yawned, barely raising his head from table “He lies everyday, all day. What exactly is new here? And that says something since it’s coming from me.”
“I apologised for that!” Mammon whined, referring to Levi’s accusation and choosing not to address Belphie’s insult “I was gonna buy it but then I realised I spent all my money earlier that week anyway so I couldn’t!”
“Perhaps that wouldn’t happen if you learned how to save the money you earn properly,” Satan muttered, sipping from his glass of whatever beverage he had snatched from the servants earlier “Not like you know how to earn money in any way besides stealing it.”
You watch as Mammon clenched his fist “Can we please just move on-“
“I can’t believe that I was cursed with this moron for a brother,” Asmo sighed, almost theatrically, as if he was performing. And, in a way, he was. People were getting really interested in the drama unfolding over there. It was making you even more anxious, all those eyes staring at you. The Avatar of Lust was leaning so much on his chair, you were sure he was going to topple over and at this point, you kinda hoped he would. Anything to stop this momentum of hatred aimed at Mammon “You’re always getting us in trouble, you know. Hmph, we can’t go anywhere with you Mammon! You always end up ruining it for us! With your stupid schemes and-“
“I’m hungry-“
“Not now, Beel!”
“Cutting him up into tiny pieces for the witches will always be an option,” Lucifer chimed in, smiling at the thought.
Mammon snapped his head upwards at that. It was such an abrupt reaction, it made you jolt a little in your seat. You couldn’t miss the tension radiating from him, how quickly his body stiffened and exactly how hard his hands were gripping the edge of the table. His brothers were still paying him no mind, blaming him for this and that under their breath or being silently judgemental in Lucifer’s case. You worried for him because Mammon rarely acted like this; feral, in a way. Just so you know, he definitely noticed it. The look of concern plastered all over your face. That’s the only reason he released the table from his vice-like grip and slouched back against his chair. Satan went quiet and was staring at Mammon in bewilderment.
He disliked the idea of you watching him lose control of himself. He was your guardian. Your first pact. It’s important to him that your relationship is build around a pillar of trust. And he can’t even expect you to trust him if he exposes you to his demon form every time something inconveniences him. Mammon would rather cease to exit than have you fear him. So he kept his breathing regulated as the fog cleared his mind. The Avatar of Greed isn’t an angry demon. Snuffing out the the flame of rage he had fanned up until then was relatively easy. He just needed to get through tonight, then he could go home and complain to you about it once he got out of his brothers’ earshot.
“Why does he get to spend so much time with MC anyway? He’d probably sell them for a few Grimm any time of the day, wouldn’t he? It’s so fucking unfair. He won’t change no matter what so why risk MC’s safety? I will summon Lotan on him if he starts getting on my nerves.”
It would be an understatement to say that those words rubbed Mammon the wrong way, judging by the lack of immediate response. It was unexpected for him keep his mouth shut at a time like this. What was even more unexpected was the abrupt, delayed reaction he had a few seconds afterwards, resulting in his chair being flung back about 5 feet in that general direction. The seemingly deafening thud it made when it collided with the floor echoed around the dining hall, bouncing off walls and whacking people over the heads with the aggression behind it. A moment of pure, indescribably loud silence filled the crowded space as everyone else stared in shock at their brother, mouths agape and eyes bulging out of their sockets. Mammon would’ve laughed at their faces if it weren’t for the circumstances leading up to that point.
“What gives any of you the right to treat me like some sort of punching bag?” Mammon drawled, accentuating his obviously superior nature to almost every single demon at that table. He laughed, in an oddly half hearted way, before his sea struck gaze landed back to his siblings “Do not try to push me into a corner, because I will not handle it well. You’ve been having a field day with me for centuries now and I’m starting to get really ticked off, ya know? But that doesn’t matter. What matters is that I’ve done everything in my power to keep MC alive for the past few months and y’all are acting as if I’m out here playing with their life. Complain about me all you want. But...” He thumped the table, loud enough to make all the noblemen in the room flinch.
“Don’t you dare insinuate that I would ever put MC in danger, willingly or not because I will rip out your insides and paint the walls of this palace with them while hanging your intestines from these chandeliers. I will pluck your hairs out one by one, then your nails, then your eyeballs and then your teeth. You’re the ones that have put MC in danger’s way time and time again in the past few weeks, and you’re out here trying to suggest that I would even think about hurting them? Unlike every single one of you, who almost killed my human-you’re lucky I don’t have your fucking heads.”
He smashed his fist into the table again, using even more of his strength this time and effectively breaking the whole thing, the wooden legs giving out and shattering into thousands of splinters. Mammon spoke again, his voice lowering “MC forgave you. I didn’t. And I have no reason to. Not with how you’ve been treating me.”Once he spit that out, Mammon turned on his heel and left, slamming the door shut behind him hard enough to shake the whole building, leaving his siblings in dazed awe.
......
Even more silence. For some reason, all of the brothers at the now broken table ended up looking your way, silently questioning what they should do. It often ended up like this
You gave them all an unimpressed stare and a half-assed shrug “Don’t look at me. You guys fucked up.” Before sliding out of your seat and following Mammon out of the castle, sending an apologetic smile to Diavolo on your way out. Hopefully, you could manage to calm him down before everyone else gets home otherwise this might drag on for a while.
Lucifer:
-In all honesty, he probably saw the signs from a mile away and still decided to ignore them
-Maybe because he believed they weren’t being all that harsh on him, even if in Mammon’s eyes they were
-‘Harsh’ in Lucifer’s vocabulary usually means being hanged upside down from a ceiling or publicly executed, not a couple of mere insults
-Not to mention the eldest had always been horrible at communicating with his brothers when it came to emotions
-Despite Mammon clearly suffering from the treatment he received from his brothers, Lucifer refuses to believe he’s the root of the problem
-As the Avatar of Pride, he always had a hard time realising that all those words and the constant teasing, which he deemed to be pretty harmless, scarred Mammon a lot more than expected
-Once he actually comes to that conclusion, and after getting over the initial shock, Lucifer would probably feel the guiltiest out of them all
-Being the eldest means he carries quite a few burdens on his shoulders as most responsibilities fall on him due to his prideful nature
-He would blame himself for Mammon’s outburst simply because he’s the older brother and he should’ve known better, not just because he sees how a big of a role he played in all of this
-Usually, if his brothers do something bad, then he’s there to fix it within hours, that’s how it always worked
-Except he doesn’t know how to fix this exactly
-The problem is he has no idea how to approach Mammon after that sudden meltdown and he has no idea how to talk it out with him because he sucks at expressing himself verbally
-And since this took place in a public space, Lord Diavolo’s Palace no less, he felt really conflicted on what should have been done at that moment in time
-There was a lot of frustration, embarrassment and confusion in him for a good five minutes after Mammon slammed that door shut behind him and even after he gathered his thoughts together, he was still in shock for the rest of the night
-In any case, the whole event was promptly cancelled and everyone ended up going home earlier than expected, after Lucifer apologised to Diavolo about the spectacle they created (several times)
-When they finally get home, he decided to give Mammon his space instead of trying to knock at his door and instead went back to his room
-He knows they will need to solve this matter soon but there’s no way Mammon will want to see, let alone talk, to any of them just yet
-He’s sort of hoping he can apologise best he can next morning at breakfast, cross his fingers and wish for the best but judging by the venom that laced Mammon’s voice the night before, it’s not likely he will forgive any of them that easily.
Levi:
-If I were to guess, he saw the ending credits of his life flash before his very eyes as soon as those words left his mouth
-Levi felt a panic in him like never before, not even while playing his engaging horror visual novels at 3am in complete darkness or that one time he used Lucifer’s credit card to buy merch before being found out
-Must’ve forgotten his brother technically ranks higher than him on the power scale for a second there
-Or maybe he didn’t think his insults were going to affect him much
-They usually don’t
-Or at least that’s the impression he’s been under for a while now
-Mammon doesn’t snap easily under pressure but Levi must’ve really hit a nerve there that night
-While everyone was sitting in a short silence after Mammon left the building, he started twiddling with his fingers again the more he thought about it
-Because now he went from nervous to fucking terrified of what the hell was waiting for him when he finally got home
-He does feel guilty, nowhere near as much guilt as Lucifer feels but still pure shame
-However most of that guilt is swallowed by a steady fear and the constant worry of ‘how do I stop my brother from killing me?’
-Unlike Lucifer, I honestly don’t see him taking any sort of initiative when it comes to apologising to Mammon
-Not even because he doesn’t want to, but he would freeze up if he were to come face to face with him after that incident and then scamper back to his room like a rat in hiding
-So without your help, it’s likely the two won’t be speaking to each very soon which can honestly make life at the House of Lamentation so much more miserable
-In the end, if either you or Lucifer forced him to, he would say sorry by selling some of his merch and then giving him the profits (in secret but we all know it’s him)
-That is a big sacrifice on Levi’s part considering how precious his merchandise is to him
-But the idea that he’s gonna get murdered in his sleep by his older brother was getting a tad too real
-Besides, Mammon is still his brother and if he has to sell a couple of items in order to make him less mad, he would do it, albeit with a bit of grumbling
-Despite that, Mammon still refuses to come out of his room and sort of relies on you to bring him food because he doesn’t want to see his brothers
-Levi and Mammon would probably have to rebuild a lot of their relationship after this but it could easily take months for that to happen since Levi is too terrified to look him in the eye and Mammon is too upset to even hear his voice
Satan:
-He wouldn’t be the Avatar of Wrath if he couldn’t spot the anger within someone from a mile away
-He’s always been able to recognise the fury building up inside of him so for Satan it’s second nature to just know when someone’s on the brink of snapping
-It’s no surprise to say that he probably noticed Mammon’s wrath spilling out before anyone else did
-But alas, he realised it too late
-If he had reacted quicker, maybe he would’ve been able to diffuse Mammon before he exploded on them. Or not
-It’s difficult to tell if he could’ve actually helped because who was he to tell Mammon to calm down??? If anyone told him that while he was throwing a fit, he would probably break their necks-
-In the end, he just pressed his lips into a straight line and watched his brother throw his chair across the room
-Not gonna lie, he found it a bit entertaining purely because of the look on Lucifer’s face
-Satan had to try really hard not to crack a smile because he knew Mammon would probably smash a glass against his head or something
-Even so, he was the first to stand up and offer to go after him, though he wasn’t sure he could do much consoling
-Being so experienced with anger meant that he knew Mammon had built himself into a rage that he won’t be able to escape out of too easily
-Which is why he advises Lucifer to give Mammon his space once they get home
-Overall, the most understanding out of all of the brothers
-At this point in time, probably the least judgemental out of everyone and once Mammon comes out of his room for the first time in a while, either him or Beel is going to apologise to him first
-He may push and push him alongside the rest of his siblings but I feel like Satan doesn’t want to reach a certain low, like cornering Mammon into the frenzy he had that day ever again
-He might get pissy with him if he’s being too stubborn to forgive anyone after coming down from his intrusive thoughts
-And he really hates that Mammon had to remind them about all the times you had nearly died because of them, because he knows they won’t be able to make it up to you so why is Mammon upset about this????
-But he will try to maintain respect for his older brother from then on
-Even if the sharpest of remarks is on the top of his tongue!
Asmo:
-Asmo is the type to laugh it off and then start feeling really upset about it later on, the longer he thinks about the whole thing
-After Mammon storms out, he just assumes it’s another one of those ‘Mammon’ things and tried to brush the feeling of unease off him
-Even so, later that night the memory of Mammon kept coming back to him while he laid in his bed, unable to have a nice rest for the first time in how long? He’s always been really strict about his sleeping schedules after all
-Asmo’s observant, almost on par with Satan himself when it comes down to it. He definitely saw the gleam of anger, pent up frustration and hatred in his brothers’ eyes that moment and it legitimately scared him, even if it was for just half a second
-Honestly, he begins neglecting himself out of anticipation and worry which is a huge red flag for the Avatar of Lust who always holds himself at such a superior level compared to everyone else
-It may start out slow, but it has the same effect as a snowball rolling down the hill. It becomes more of a problem the longer it’s ignored
-Because he spends most of his days now debating whether he should try to coax his brother into coming out of his room and apologising to him, he forgets about himself
-Skincare routines are missed, pedicure appointments have been cancelled; hell, if Mammon’s keeps being stubborn, he may let his hair become absolutely filthy
-Asmo sort of relies on his brothers to provide the living environment he revolves around. If something is off with his brothers, he can not work properly either because it doesn’t feel right to do so
-Imagine a machine not working anymore because one of the clogs in it got stuck
-I can see Asmo feeling a decent amount of guilt when it comes to the situation but he still blames Levi for completely pushing him over the edge at dinner
-So now those two aren’t talking (it’s honestly so exhausting since they’re shoving the blame onto each other without stop)
-If Mammon decides to come out and hear them out, Asmo might get on his knees and beg because that guilt bubbling up inside of him may end up being his demise
-No seriously, MC might need to keep an eye out on him too while comforting Mammon because whatever he is doing isn’t healthy
-Takes Mammon’s outburst pretty badly and tries apologising to him many times but the second eldest still hasn’t said a word to any of them
-And that’s driving him into a fucking swirl of insanity at this point
-Of course, much like Mammon’s mental breakdown, this builds up over time but the result can be devasting
-If you pass by his room at night, you could probably hear him sob about how his brother hates him and it’s really heartbreaking to hear pained cries like that coming from such an overly confident demon like Asmo
Beel:
-Literally the only one here that doesn’t dish out insults onto Mammon every hour of the day
-He joins in very rarely and even when he does, it’s usually in good nature rather than malice
-Unless food is involved. Feelings (and Mammon) might be hurt if that’s the case
-Beel wasn’t listening to his siblings as they were diminishing Mammon, he was way too hungry to comprehend what the hell they were on about
-So he just started wolfing down appetisers until he noticed you looking all weary
-That’s the first thing that put him on alert
-And then the second born’s aura was also...off putting
-Might’ve actually tried to nudge Belphie to stop him from saying anything offensive to Mammon in this state when he realised how tense the atmosphere got
-Flinched when his brother left the palace, almost cracking the whole doorway on his way out
-Hunger is all but gone and at this point he wants to go home to check up on him
-Beel is a bit of a softie and he wears his heart on his sleeve a lot of the times
-He never did anything particularly bad to Mammon, not on the same scale his brothers did certainly and yet he still felt extremely bad
-Perhaps because he didn’t step in as much as he should’ve...?
-Either way, when his loved ones suffer, he has a tendency of putting the blame on himself because he feels it’s the only logical answer
-Honestly, he feels guilty enough to the point where it’s affecting his eating habits-which is obviously not normal for the Avatar of Gluttony
-Beel knows Mammon doesn’t want to talk to him but he still brings him food and leaves it at the doorstep of his room since he doesn’t want to come out and have dinner with them
-Or he relies on you to give it to him
-The thought of Mammon being so mad at them that he doesn’t even want to eat makes him feel so vulnerable
-As soon as he sees him for the first time since that night, he will probably be the first to apologise, even if Mammon isn’t in the mood to hear apologies
-Again, he’s trying to use food to make up to him (bringing him his favourites and paying for them)
-Even if he gets ignored, he’s still going to do it
-Beel is trying his best to say sorry to his older brother the only way he knows how to do so, but Mammon still doesn’t give in
Belphie:
-Could’ve been asleep the whole time Mammon was thrashing about
-Or at least that’s what it looked like to the average passer-by
-Kept one eye open to watch as Mammon finally snapped under pressure, having to raise his head once his brother broke the whole god damned table
-“OK, alright, storm off I guess-I have a splinter now-“
-Don’t trust that sarcastic commentary, he’s in deep thought on the inside
-Maybe he should’ve expected this but then again, he never would’ve guessed Mammon had it in him to be so aggressive
-Will narrow his eyes at him when he talks your death and scowl
-As if he didn’t already feel like the world’s biggest piece of shit, he had to bring that up
-As soon as he leaves, he turns to Lucifer and goes “See what you did? You broke Mammon. You suck, Lucifer.”
-The shifting of blame suits Belphie really well (it takes Beel side glancing him to get him to shut up)
-The Avatar of Sloth is too tired to even try to communicate with his brother so he goes straight to bed after getting home
-However, he actually visits Mammon’s dreams that night
-Or at least tries to, if Mammon is getting any sleep after that showdown
-It’s his way of checking in with his brother, helps him evaluate the situation
- Whether that works or not, there was definitely an attempt that required a lot of effort and you don’t see that very often with Belphagour
-It really demonstrates how much he actually cares for his family, even if he hides behind snide remarks and the likes of it
-However, if Mammon refuses communication, then he can’t do anything but give up
-He clearly won’t be able to convince him to step aside for a chit chat and why waste energy trying to force him to do so
-When the time comes, Belphie knows his brother will willingly talk to him (or at least someone else because he knows he’s not any good at comfort or apologies)
-At the same time, a lot of the things Mammon said during that party rubbed him the wrong way and seeing his twin suffer because of it is also pissing him off so patience may be running thin with Belphie
-Like Levi, there may be a lot of ice between the two from then onwards so it won’t be easy for them to find the middle ground in this whole argument either
-It could lead to a strained relationship if no one intervenes or even a physical fight if the youngest pushes all of Mammon’s buttons properly
Diavolo:
-The Future King feels guilty too, for some reason
-He is clearly not involved but he’s under the impression his party was a catalyst of sorts to the fight that broke out that night
-Diavolo wasn’t even in the same room when it happened-he heard shouting and growling from next door whilst talking to a noble about future arrangements in DevilDom and rushed in
-The sight was something to behold really; Mammon cornering all of his brothers and threatening them with pure venom in his voice wasn’t something you saw everyday
-More often than not, it was the other way around so the Prince had every right to be concerned
-He tried asking Lucifer what was going on after the second eldest slammed the door shut behind him and left but to no avail; the Avatar of Pride was in a state of shock and the only thing he did was apologise to him about a million times before his departure with the rest of his siblings
-Despite his worry, Diavolo tried not to get involved in the aftermath either, believing it’s not his place to interfere and hoping they would solve it out amongst themselves
-He did give Mammon permission to miss RAD classes for that week, thinking a small break is what he needed most
-Even drops by every now and then to check up on him (he just asks you how he’s holding up because he doesn’t want to pry)
-He can’t do much but watch from the sidelines, I mean this is a family dispute so it would be wise to just give them all a bit of space
-If it drags on for too long, however, he will be forced to do something because the brothers are all distracted and can’t get on with their student council work because of it
-Lucifer is even more stressed than usual and can’t even focus during their meetings so for the sake of his friend, if nothing gets resolved quickly, he will intervene and it won’t be pretty
-For now, he’s counting on you to make sure there are no further incidents but it’s unlikely you can stop a train once it’s set in motion so just hope Mammon doesn’t come out of his room until he’s calmed down
Barbatos:
-The butler is a Time Lord so it’s probably no surprise to find out he already knew this was going to happen eventually
-Not like he believed Mammon was going to take his brothers’ insults for much longer anyway
-Being the quiet and observant demon he is, he’s been keeping a close eye on the Avatar of Greed knowing damn well he was going to lose his patience soon enough and go on the offence
-If he knew this was going to happen at such an important moment in time, he would’ve warned his majesty beforehand but he failed to see the potential catastrophe awaiting his breakdown
-Again, he has no right to intervene
-Unless, of course, Lord Diavolo asks him to do so but really the most he can do is give you tips on how to deal with miserable demons
-I mean, you’re the one that’s going to be stuck with them for the rest of the year and this isn’t the type of conflict that gets resolved too easily
-Barbatos is clever so if there is still bitterness between Mammon and his siblings after an amount of time passed, he might try to change timelines (with the permission of Diavolo)
-He’s had enough of Beel coming over to eat his cakes and cry about his older brother hating him (believe it or not, the butler is definitely a bit fond of the sixth eldest so his cries did pull at his heartstrings)
-Basically, in the same position as the Prince
-He relies on you to get them all to make up but he knows it’s not likely to happen any time soon
-For now, he’s getting ready for the chain reaction this fight set in motion because there was no easy way to end this, considering they’re all vicious demons and all

───────────────────────────────────
After going to a different dimension and meeting two other Peters, he actually had hope restored. He knows it’s not ideal to have your whole life dependent on a significant other, but he just can’t help it. He has so little in this world already that Gwen was truly his everything. So, hearing that Peter and Peter both had MJs? That gave him hope. Because he probably had an MJ too, huh? Well, he better work hard to get her. For the first time in a long time, he wanted to do things again. His friendly neighborhood Spider-Man antics have picked up again, he’s been actually going places, Aunt May has been concerned about him because he’s going out instead of staying in again. It was all getting better. And he’s been going new places every day to see if he could find his MJ and trying his best to see new people as often as he can.
And that is why he decided to get a part-time job at a bar as a bartender. It’s an easy way to meet loads of people, and a good way for him to make some money so he doesn’t get evicted… again. He usually works during the day, but his kind-hearted nature made him agree to switch shifts with a coworker for a Saturday night shift. While, yes, it was a slight inconvenience to his main job, he had to take this shift. So here he was, advanced shock absorption earplugs he designed for his hypersensitive ears in and making drinks and listening to this local punk-pop band. Now, he would be lying if he said he wasn’t enjoying the sound of this band. And he would also be lying if he said the lead singer was incredibly attractive. And angry. So angry. It was kind of hot.
But he was running around, making drinks, getting tips, being “nice” to everyone and taking the occasional angry and rude customer, when he sees Flash walk in. Now, Peter hasn’t seen Flash since graduation, but he still looked almost exactly the same. Maybe a little bit more hair, but still textbook Flash, and he silently hopes he doesn’t have to make him any drinks. But unfortunately for Peter, mans just doesn’t seem to have any luck. Ever. At all. “Parker?!”
“Oh, hey Flash! Hey, man,” Peter mumbles out, spraying water into a glass for a patron who has had way too much already. “What’re you doing here? I didn’t expect to see you behind a bar of all places,” he says, and Peter shrugs. “Well, when you think about it bartending is kinda like chemistry, so I guess it makes some sense,” he says, grabbing the tip someone left him. “I guess, but I just expected you to be working in a lab or some other nerd shit, I don’t know,” he says, and Peter gives him a tight grin. “Yeah, well, I’m not, so. What will you have Flash?”
“A Long Island Iced Tea, bro.”
It takes literally everything for Peter to not roll his eyes. “Alright, man, coming right up,” he says, and turns to grab all the alcohol required for that damn drink. It’s too many alcohols and all-around disgusting and it gets whoever drinks it sloshed and Peter just really hates this drink, but he begins mixing all of it together. “So, uh, you going to college, or…?” he hears Flash start asking. Of all the times for the band to take a break, they pick right now so he has to speak to him because he can actually hear. To be fair, though, the crowd is pretty low energy and sparse right now, so he doesn’t blame the band. He just blames Flash, to be honest. “Yeah, yeah, I got accepted to Empire State University after we graduated and I’m currently going but it’s summer, so currently on break,” he answers and Flash nods. “Yeah, yeah… I actually go to ESU too, now, you know?” he says and Peter glances at him. “Really?”
“Yeah, I kinda hated Dakota State, so I transferred here,” he responds, and Peter gives a tight-lipped smile and nods, finishing up his drink and handing it to him. “There you go, man,” he tells him. “Thanks, Parker, maybe I’ll see you around this year?”
“Yeah, maybe you will,” he says, and watches as he downs the drink. Like, way too fast. He slides his card over to him, and clarifies that he wants to open a tab, so Peter tapes it to the wall next to the cash register and goes on to serve some more people. After about 10 minutes he hears the band start playing again, and he makes another Long Island for Flash. About 20 minutes into the band playing again, he sees the glass is empty. And now Flash is… visibly fucked up. He’s talking to a bunch of girls and trying so hard to look cool, this man is still… really stuck in high school ways it seems. Of course, he isn’t as much of a bully for no reason, but he still thinks he’s hot shit. And while Peter can accept the fact that, yes, Flash is attractive, he still can’t believe he’s so full of himself. But who is Peter to think that? At least Flash is able to ask people out. For now he’s just going to do his job, and listen to the music. And that’s a pretty solid plan until a significant amount of time goes by (in which he kept making drinks for Flash) to the point where the band is now done with their set. Now, he has to listen to Flash’s obnoxiously loud voice.
Flash stumbles back over to the bar and Peter sighs. “Give me a shot, Parker,” he slurs out and Peter shakes his head no. “You’re far too fucked up, Flash. Not gonna do that,” Peter says, and begins cashing him out. He ignores the protests from Flash and hands his card and the receipt he needs to sign back to him. “Come on, man, just one more?”
“No, Eugene. Sign. You didn’t drive here, did you?”
“Are you being serious right now?”
“Yes, I am now please sign and-”
“Here you go bud,” Peter hears a voice he doesn’t recognize and turns his head in the direction of the voice. He recognizes it as the lead singer of the band who played tonight, and he watches as you hand a shot glass to Flash. “On me,” you say, and Flash smirks at them before taking the shot. “Great, now why don’t you head home?” Peter says, and Flash begins to say something, but he gets cut off by you. “I think that’s a good idea, too, actually. Besides, it’s around 3am anyways, you don’t wanna be here while we’re packing up all our stuff and it’s basically dead anyways. Look, over half of the crowd is leaving, probably heading to a different bar,” you say, pointing to the big group of patrons who are exiting the bar. Flash huffs but gets up and starts following the people out of the bar. Peter watches and chuckles, looking down, before looking back up at you. “Thanks. For that,” he says, and you give him a small smile. “Of course. I bartend too, so I know how annoying that can be.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah. And don’t worry. That shot I gave him? Water.”
Peter laughs again and points at you. “You, are a genius,” he says and you feign flipping your hair over your shoulder. “What can I say? Beauty and brains,” you joke, and he smiles. You got that right for sure. Peter has seen your band come to the bar a lot, but he was usually never there to listen to y’all. But he always notices you. And he liked your humor, he felt like he could talk to you for hours. So, time to ask the question that could either make him very upset or very optimistic. “So, uh… I’ve noticed your band is a regular here, but I have no idea who you are personally.”
“That’s because you always leave your shift before we play.”
“So you’ve noticed that, huh?”
“Oh, I definitely have...?”
“Peter. Peter Parker.”
“Well, Peter Parker. It’s nice to meet you. I’m-”
“MJ! We need to start loading this stuff up!” You get cut off by a band member and you turn your head to yell something back. But Peter can’t hear what you’re saying.
He called you MJ.
You turn your head back to him and give an apologetic look. “Sorry, I’m gonna have to go in a second, but yeah. My real name is (Y/n) but people call me MJ. It’s sort of like my stage name that turned into my nickname that’s used more than my name name now… it actually stands for Mara Jade… who is uh-”
“Luke Skywalker’s wife,” he answers, and you look at him a little surprised before smiling. “Yeah… yeah, it’s a little nerdy but…” you trail off and he shakes his head. “Nah, nah I like it. Good character,” he says, and you can feel your face flush. You just hope it’s too dark in here for him to notice. “Yeah, well um… we’re playing tomorrow night, too. I don’t know if you work but I’d love to talk a little bit more?” you ask, and he nods. “Yeah. Yeah, I’d like that. I’ll be here,” he says, and you smile. “Great! I mean… um… cool. Cool…”
“MJ!” You roll your eyes and give him a lopsided grin. “Duty calls,” you say, sliding off the barstool you were perched on. He nods. “I gotta start cleaning up the bar anyways… so.”
“Yeah… tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow.”
You give him a small smile and an awkward thumbs up before running off to help your bandmates load all of your stuff into their van. Peter turns and starts cleaning up the bar and taking more orders. His head is swimming, did he really just meet his MJ? I mean, yeah, sure, your real name doesn’t actually make the initials M and J but people still call you MJ, so that counts right? He’s so lost in his thoughts, that his spidey sense doesn’t alert him that someone is lingering by the bar for a moment before rushing out. After lamenting for a little while longer, he turns around, and he sees what looks like a receipt. He goes over to grab it when he notices something written on the very bottom.
‘Don’t know whose receipt this is, but my number is (xxx) xxx-xxx. Just in case something would prevent you from coming tomorrow. - MJ :)’
He smiles and tucks it in his pocket. “MJ,” he says with a grin on his face, wiping down the counter. Maybe his luck was changing after all.

(he is so hot. i'm crying all my tears, and that's fucking pathetic.)
Tumblr media
Your head hurt, you knew your face was probably red due to your desire to go home and cry, but yet, your friends convinced you to go out for a drink. According to them nothing was too bad that a beer couldn’t improve, you doubted it.
Somehow, you found yourself happy to have accepted.
You didn’t know Ethan was back in town, you briefly wondered why you didn’t know, since he always contacted you when he was near (or at least that was what it seemed to be). Still, you were glad to see him. He was always able to make things better, even if only for a short period of time; which in your case was very short one as he wasn’t yours to have.
Ethan complemented your friends, they were all too familiar to him. He hugged you, giving a small kiss to your head while sitting next to you. Suddenly, you felt like a stronger drink would do you good.
It wasn’t hard to tell what was going to happen in the next few hours, after a couple of years going through that, you knew the time you spent together would always be the same. You guessed that you were able to put his head in place, just as he did with yours; and that's why he always came back to you. You'd never be able to tell if it was luck or mischance.
“Was it too hard to find me?” You asked him.
By now, your friends had moved to another corner. “I mean, I’m not complaining, I’m glad you did.” You offered him a weak smile. He did the same.
He looked tired, yet deadly cute.
He shuffled his chair closer to yours, letting his leg touch your bare knee. “Not really, Victoria said she called you in the morning, then told me that you intended to visit here for the night,” he mumbled, signaling to the bartender that he needed a beer, and so did you.
“She’s a gossip,” you wrinkled your nose, causing him to provide offer you a nasal laugh that you had learned to find lovely over the years. “But what has been happenin’ in your life lately? You’re good?” You tried to sound casual, but deep down you knew he wasn’t there entirely for you. Something was bothering him, he was looking for someone to rest on.
“Pretty much the same,” he sighed heavily. He wasn’t tired just physically. “We finished the last album, I feel exhausted.”
He looked at you like a lost puppy, watching your face, analyzing if you were in the mood to listen to him, or even if you were okay with having him around. After all, he came to you out of nowhere.
He’d never make you uncomfortable around him, maybe he hadn't noticed that yet. “C’mon, let it all out. I haven’t seen you for too many months for you to deprive me of the details.”
“If I tell you,” he pondered, “ you’ll tell me why you have a runny nose to match your watery eyes?” He poked your cheek, dragging his fingers so he could put some strands of hair back in place.
His seat was now so close to you that you'd be able to rest your head on his shoulder if you wanted to without creating any bodily discomfort.
“I guess life just hasn’t been all that gentle with me lately.” You giggled at him. “I lost my job last week, the same life shit is goin’ on as usual, and when I finally managed to move to a decent place, I’ll now be actually going back to sharin' apartment with strangers, because, y’know, I can’t afford bein’ in there anymore.”
Ethan was quiet for a while, you needed him more than he needed you. Listening to you made him realize how his worries were nothing at all. He knew that you didn't mind sharing an apartment with someone, but the loss of perspective was always tough.
Without further thinking, he pulled you to himself, fluffing your hair and holding you tight in his grip. You didn’t cry, yet it was possible to read your emotions. It was little, but Ethan knew you.
You took your head off his chest while he still had his arm around your waist. Taking a deep breath, you stared at your laced fingers, feeling it slow down. “I guess it’s all happenin’ at the same time, I’m just not sure how to handle it at the moment,” he held your face in his hand, his mouth close to yours as he ran his fingertips over your chin, until his lips were on you.
He was soft and wet, he had the same taste you still had etched in your mind, at that moment it seemed to be all you needed. He let go slowly, distributing pecks on the corners of your mouth, letting his forehead rest against yours.
You two stayed like that for a few minutes and you could bet that anyone who passed by could see how much of a fool you were for him. You tried not to think about it too much, it was better to have little of him than to have nothing. “Ethan?”
“Huh?” He murmured with his eyes closed, giving your lips a tickling sensation.
“Kiss me more,” and then he did. Ethan was holding you in place while your hands intertwined around his neck. You played with the chain of his necklace, savoring the touch of his tongue on yours, focusing only on him while pulling at his hair to hear his soft moans.
It didn’t take long for the bartender to come get your attention. You laughed nervously against him, you were embarrassed because you didn’t even remember where you were, still Ethan seemed untouchable about it. He wasn’t one to be embarrassed over small things like that, at least not with you. The bartender was quite irritated with the two of you and just now you noticed that your drinks had arrived and hadn’t even been touched; he was rightly pissed.
Ethan stood up, lifting you up with him. You looked in your pockets for your money, but then Ethan said it was okay and that he’d pay. You would argue, yet any money left over would be welcome. You held both beers in hand as he paid, thanking the old lady for the service, still feeling your skin burning with embarrassment, and then headed outside to wait for Ethan.
“Are you drivin’?” He asked, laughing at your state of awkwardness.
You bumped into his shoulder slightly, laughing along with him. “I am not, I’m living nearby,” you whispered as he put his hand inside your skirt pocket, bringing you to his side for a walk. “In the apartment that soon won’t be mine… how ‘bout you?”
“Not drivin’, I thought about staying somewhere to spend the night.”
He was close to home, but not that close, it would take about 3 hours to get to where he lives; it seemed plausible that he wanted to stay. “Are you only here because of me?” You risked asking.
“Yeah,” he took his hand out of your pocket and ran it through his hair. “I didn’t think it‘d be a bad idea.”
There was a silence, but it was far from being uncomfortable. “You know you can stay with me.”
——————-
Considering that you were in the process of moving to another place your house was a bit of a mess. Ethan wouldn’t be bothered by that, somehow your instinct of wanting things always in place - aka Monica from Friends - made you wander around the space in an attempt to make Ethan at home.
“What ‘bout the new album?” You asked, dragging one of the boxes away from him. It wouldn’t even bother anyone, but the thought that it would be in the middle of the room while someone was at your house bothered you.
“I don’t really know, I feel anxious about releasin’ it. It’s not that I don’t want to release it or am afraid of doing so, far from that, it's just, I don’t know… ” His voice fell silent, lost in his thoughts.
You turned to him, wanting to ask him what he had said, after all, that didn’t sound like Ethan, you felt as his hands touched your hips, pulling you on his lap. “Y'know I don’t care about your mess, right? Just, please, stop walkin’ 'round the house dragging boxes.” He said with his face close to your neck, hugging you from behind. His warm breath was in contact with your soft skin, providing heat to your body. Well, there was a minimal percentage chance that you were trying to make the place look good for Ethan, just because he made you a little nervous.
“Okay, fine. I’m fine,” you exhaled, turning to face him. He was smiling with his eyes almost closing; he still looked tired, but at least you were improving his mood. “You know you’re good at what you do, Ethan. You shouldn’t worry 'bout those things.” You held on to his shoulders, breaking something that could turn out to be a pity silence.
He squeezed your thigh at the same time as he laughed humorlessly at your words. “I know that. I guess that this is the short time they gave us to finish the album – it was drivin’ me crazy. The album isn’t bad, not at all, it’s honestly very good. Dami did a incredible job, still if it weren’t for the time it could have been even better. That’s crazy how I’m still letting myself get stressed over this, don’t you think?” He vented, moving his hands up your skirt.
“I know it’ll be good, I can’t think of anything you did that ended up bad!” You ran your fingers over his covered shoulders, down to his chest, going to the first open button of his t-shirt. “But if it’s just stress I can help you.”
He lubed his lips, nodding assiduously, putting you properly on top of him. That way, you were stuck to his body, feeling the rough of his jeans along with the zipper against your underwear. You gulped as he held your face, sealing your lips with his. You were relieved he always guided you through that; the leading up part was way better when it came from him.
You unbuttoned the rest of his shirt in middle of sloppy kisses and grips. Running your hand over his belly, tracing your fingers to the back of his neck while moving your hips lightly. You lugged on his hair, pulling him away to catch your breath. You opened your eyes to find Ethan with a deep pink mouth and brown eyes more intense than normal, at that moment you could have sworn that he was the most beautiful thing you had ever laid eyes on. You spread his shirt to the sides, sensing your body getting hotter, when Ethan smirked at your rush, managing to hold both of your hands behind you; stopping you in place.
“No need to rush, we have plenty of time,” he clenched you in his hands. You arched your back, breathing heavily at each touch of his fingers on your wrists.
He ran his nose over your neck, placing kisses and bites on the way to your collarbone, leaving wet tracks that would later turn into dark marks.
Your legs ached from that position, the couch wasn’t the best, but feeling Ethan getting hard under you as you writhed yourself against him, made you want to stay there for as long as he wanted you to. It was crazy to think that at the beginning of the day you were sure that the rest of it would be a pure disaster, and now being spoiled by Ethan’s lips your worries seemed to fade away.
Temporary as that would be, you were determined to give him your all, making his and yours next hours one of the best escapes from both of you. Unnecessary to say that you were lost in your own mind by now, craving for having his strands in-between your fingers, wanting him tugged into you furiously, causing you to ache. Your mouth was ajar, your vision was just white dots as he played with your sensitive skin, driving you insane. Ethan paralyzed when his grip became too strong around your fists and you got louder than usual.
“D’you like that?” He did it again, but this time pushing your body backward. He kept his devilish grin on his face, watching you from top to bottom. You bit your lips, containing your noises to yourself. Such an angel in his eyes. “Up, babe. I need to see something.” He didn’t let you answer, not as if he needed to. You stood up in front of him, legs shaking with your head definitely not in the right place. “Undress.” He rested his elbows on his knees.
His face was serious, and you didn’t see any problem in obeying his voice, but perhaps, due to the lack of his body being glued to yours, you couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
“Don’t act like you don’t like it when I tell you what to do,” He caught you by the hem of your underwear, helping to take it off while you got rid of your blouse. “Especially, when I just got you off my lap, almost unconscious 'cause of some kisses to your soft neck, pet.” He added, drawing circles on the inside of your thigh, smoothly going up to your center.
You felt your breath come to a halt. “You’re just too bossy.” You teased, confirming that your breathing was faulty.
He patted his nose over the damp stain of the fabric, placing a kiss there. “And you love it.” He pecked you a few more times, teasing you by running his fingers on the edges as putting the cloth to the side; never touching you where you needed him.
Almost involuntarily you took hold of his hair, bringing him closer to your core. And then, you understood his previous question, it wasn’t just about not being able to touch him, but also about the power he was having over you.
He cut his actions short and got up, hovering over you. “Tonight, you won’t be allowed to touch me, all right?!” He whispered, tossing your hair behind your ear.
That’d be comical in any other situation, yet with his body and eyes fixed on your frame you felt in his domain.
You nodded, diving into the way he pulled at the hair on the nape of your neck firmly so that you were looking at him. “Go on, babe,” He insisted on having the words he wanted.
“Yes, it’s all right, Ethan,” it was far from all right, you couldn’t do that. How could you go without touching, making a mess of his hair or marking your nails on his back?
“That’s my girl,” he praised you in between sighs.
He was excited while your face was overflowing with nervousness; not out of fear, but out of curiosity. He finished removing his shirt and indicated with his fingers for you to lie down on the couch.
You shut your eyes tight, with his voice echoing 'my girl’ in your mind, Ethan was lugging your wrists above your head as you did what he told you to do. He tied them with his shirt. “Is this hurtin’ you? Are you comfortable?” He tightened it in a knot.
Your head and elbows were on the arm of the couch, only your hands were unsupported. Although you weren’t uncomfortable, it was to be expected that pain would appear the next day; it’d be worth it. “No, it’s fine. I’m good.” You assured him as he knelt beside the couch, running his hands down your torso, making you squirm.
He went down to the hem of your underwear, taking it off with the help of your legs kicking the lace away. “Good then,” he warbled, pattering lines on your pubic hair. “Needy and in your proper place.”
“Bastard,” you swore through clenched teeth.
He grinned, admiring how your breast rose and fell in a quick but punctual rhythm while your hips fidgeted at his touch. You looked like a piece of art he had just created, swollen lips, filled in lovely marks on the collarbone. He found himself in need to concentrate on his breathing while watching you, to control his pulse as he reached his fingertips to your pussy.
“Ethan” you breathed out, forcing your fists. “Go on, please,”
With that, he held your hands, forcing them down and slid a finger inside you. Your lips opened in a sigh and he took the opportunity to kiss you, running his tongue over your bottom lip and nipping it to his mouth, keeping things on a slow pace.
You wanted to hold his hand, make him go faster or be able to pull the locks of his hair until he understood how much you wanted him, but you had no way of doing that, and you knew he was just doing that to provoke you.
His lips traveled over your neck again, this time giving light kisses, blowing air on the soft fresh he had left in there.
“You’re so gorgeous,” he said without even opening his eyes, delighting in your skin as he sped up, now rubbing his thumb gently over your bud.
You whispered something almost inaudible that Ethan recognized as his name. He raised his head, coming face a face to you. “Right there, huh?” He asked, focusing on the spot that was blurring your vision.
You groaned. The satisfying delight running through your veins. You closed your legs, wishing you could hold on to his body, but all he did was laugh, shoving his fingers leisurely into you.
“No, no Ethan,” you looked at him properly, thinking that if you hadn’t been with your wrists tied you’d have slapped his chest.
He wiped his hand on your thigh, and stood up slipping his jeans down his legs along with his underwear. You sighed at him, stretching your arms, staring at the ceiling to disguise yourself. Not that it was necessary, Ethan was already too much of a show-off when it came to you for your liking.
“You good? How’s your arms?” He doubted, getting on top of you.
He had his hair damp, falling over the spots on his forehead. Some of his locks was glued to his chest and his golden pendant dangled in front of your eyes. For a split second, you though about saying that you missed him, but you were wise enough to know better than doing such a thing.
“If I say that I’m not good. Are you goin’ to untie me?”
He pressed his chest to yours, your body sticking to his since you were both sweaty.
“Not even a chance,” He stroked your neck with his thumb, up and down, with a silly look on his face.
You grunted as soon as you felt how solid hard he was against your thigh, he aligned himself in-between your knees, holding on to your shoulders, and without hesitation he filled you up. Your body tingled and your voice failed, causing a silent moan to slip from your lips. His head fell over the crook of your neck and you could feel how dysrhythmic his breathing was. His warm body along with his breath hitting on your neck added a pleasant feeling in your stomach, leaving you dizzy under him.
“Move Ethan,” you tried to sound understandable, embracing his waist with your legs.
He thrusted deeply in you, leaving a breathed sigh of relief in your ears. You stretched out your arms, tightening your thighs around him. He held the shirt in your hands, preventing it from coming loose.
“No, I wanna touch you,” you whined.
“You will, just be patient, babe,” he squeezed your wrists in his hand.
Closing your eyes, you enjoyed the way his body was over yours, every movement and every delicate touch.
He went slowly at first, making sure you were taking all of him before going faster. Once he felt your walls clenching around him, he murmured a breathless 'fuck’, letting go of your hands so that you could finally feel him. You dug your nails into his back, kneading your body against his at the same time as he hugged you.
As you opened your eyes, he was already looking at you, with an intense gaze, building you up to feel sexy and wanted.
Both of you were a mess; sweaty and sticky. You felt a tingling ecstasy take all over your body, your toes twitching as you emptied yourself into him. He kept working on you until his body collapsed into yours, filling you up to perfection.
The last thing you remembered was having your fingers entwined in his hair, patting at it slightly as he whispered sweet nothing against your skin; just like a lullaby.
———–-------
You woke up to the noise of the television, trying to adjust your vision to the brightness of the daylight. Failing to stretch, you felt how sore your body was.
Your eyes searched for Ethan, finding him sitting opposite to you with a lazy smile and a cup of tea in hands, his attention was all on you. Friends was playing on the television, but you doubted he was really watching it.
“Good mornin’ babe,” his husky voice echoed through the room. It was the best thing to hear in the morning. “How’s it? Hurtin’?” He asked when you started examining your marked wrists.
He was fully dressed and although you weren’t, he had managed to get a sheet to cover you.
“Good mornin’. It’s fine, it doesn’t hurt,” you mumbled, scratching your eyes, curling up on the sheet. “How long will you be stayin’ in town?”
“Not long,” he paused thoughtfully. You already expected that he wouldn’t be with you for long, still sometimes you liked to think that it’d last longer than just a few days before he disappeared to another continent. “I need to go home in a few minutes, I’m going to take a flight at night to adjust the final details of the album.”
“Sounds nice,” you wanted to have the courage to tell him how he made things in your life look just right, as if he were some kind of piece missing from your puzzle. “I can’t wait to hear it, hear what your great fingers are capable of.” You ignored your thoughts. He laughed.
However, you truly believed that not saying anything was a wise move.
He lifted a cup from one of the boxes next to him, holding it out to you. “I made one for you too, I hope you don’t mind.”
You didn’t mind it, in fact, you loved the way he made himself at home so quickly. The home that soon wouldn’t be yours anymore. You wished Ethan could remedy your worries for more than just one night.
“Thank you,” you took the still warm drink in your hands, looking at him as if he were part of your decor. “You can smoke in here, I don’t mind that either,” you spoke up. You couldn’t even imagine that he’d have gone without lighting a cigarette all morning.
“The place is all clean, and smells nice. I bet you never lit one yourself, I wouldn’t do that.” He was right.
“Well, y'know that I don’t care about the smell, I just don’t see the need to leave the house impregnated with it.” You explained, remembering that Ethan’s house was a perfect description of that smell, yet you loved his place.
“I know this is going to sound strange,” he started. “But if you can’t find a place in time to live in… you can stay at mine, I mean, you know I am never home and as I’ll be travelin’ you could make yourself at home.”
He said it casually, and you knew he wasn’t lying, if you wanted to he wouldn't even think twice about letting you stay at his.
“No need, I’ll be fine. I do appreciate it though.” you took a sip of your now cold drink.
He bobbed, checking what you thought could be the time on his phone.
“You have to go, I guess?” You asked, your soft voice revealing you didn’t want that.
“I need to,” he gave you a small smile, getting up. “It’s gettin’ a bit late for me.”
“I see,” you went to him, adjusting the sheet on your body, feeling ridiculous for still being undressed. “I guess I’ll see you, right?” You added it while he picked up your stuff on the couch; keys, wallet and the pack of cigarettes. There was no answer for your question.
“Yeah,” he breathed out, heading to the door. “You could come and visit, spend a few days with us. It’d be nice.”
“On tour? Like a groupie?” You wrinkled your nose. His arms wrapping around you. You’d miss it.
He squeezed you into his chest, his tiny beard tickling your cheek. “You know you are much more than just a groupie for me, Y/N.”
You didn’t answer that. He pulled away and for a second you thought he was going to kiss you, but he didn’t.
“See ya Y/N,” instead, he kissed the top of your head. “Think about it, both about comin’ to visit and also about needing a place to stay for a while.”
“I’m sure I will, thank you Ethan,” you watched him, from his rumpled shirt to dark circles under his eyes. He’d always have a special space in your heart. “I guess I’ll see ya then.”

Hi! Just wanted to say that I love your work on Ao3 and am DYING to find out what happens next on i used to want to be a hero, until i found that even heroes die (really hope that you're still continuing it!)
Hello!!
Thank you so so much for the kind words. Never fear, I definitely am not abandoning it. Not in the slightest. It’s truly my baby, not even just that fic but the entire series is the longest work I’ve ever created for any fandom. It’s a story near and dear to my heart and I’m still writing it.
The other half of that, the sad half, is that I’m working a lot right now and money is very tight, and I don’t have the same amount of writing time that I did when I started, or even two months ago. My family is also going through a lot of stuff, I’ve been open on AO3 that I’ve had a quite a few people pass due to COVID in my family, and so life has taken a turn, and I had to take on a few more responsibilities that I didn’t have when I wrote the first six chapters of ‘hero’, or the first two installments of the series as a whole.
I’m not abandoning, life just sucks and fanfiction is (rightfully) unpaid.
But! Since you asked so nicely, have a snippet 🥰
“Ready for today, Vis?” she asks. She used to call him Mr. Vision, until he put up a valid argument that he is in fact younger than her, and she couldn’t argue with him over it anymore. Plus he kinda feels like a cool older brother, just one that doesn’t live at home anymore . “Feeling alright?”
“I do believe so, yes. My processor is working perfectly, thank you.”
Penny grins and kisses his cheek. “That’s the spirit.”
Wanda laughs above Vision’s robotic but sincere chuckles, and Penny heads around the corner to check up on Mr. Stark. He’d been slightly manic this morning when she went to the lab to bring him upstairs. She doesn’t think that he even slept last night. Pepper had expertly covered up his dark circles with expensive looking concealer before she’d let him have any more coffee.
“Eh, it’ll be okay, Cap,” she hears him say over the roar of the engine before she sees them. “After this they’ll remember that they used to worship at your feet and everything will go back to normal. The government can go back to faking like you're their good little boy and I the ornery stepchild just like God intended.”
Most of the rest of the team is huddled around the planning table. Sam is straightening Pietro’s tie while the boy seems completely indifferent to the concept of the accessory. Natasha is scrolling through a large tablet, tapping away at buttons and windows Penny doesn’t care to decipher. She’s entirely too comfortable in three inch stilettos, and her chic black dress is probably worth more than Penny’s entire Queen’s apartment.
Steve snorts and shakes his head at Tony. “Not a chance.”
Tony smirks, then drapes an arm around Penny’s shoulders when she appears between him and the Captain. “Alright kid, remember what we talked about?”
Penny nods twice. “If anyone asks, I’m a Stark Intern, not Tony Stark’s personal intern, they’re not allowed to take pictures of me or ask me questions, and if they try, to threaten them with Ms. Potts and the Stark Industries legal team,” she recites dutifully.
“And?”
“And if I find myself within twenty feet of Secretary Ross, look for the nearest member of the team or scream fire; your lawyers will make sure I don’t get sued.”
Tony grins. “Nice job, kid.”
“Tony, you did not tell her to scream ‘fire’,” Steve accuses, pinching the bridge of his nose and sagging his shoulders in the quintessential old man way. He looks up at Penny with a tired expression. “Pen, tell me you’re not actually going to scream fire.”
Penny laughs at him. “I’m not gonna go screaming fire, Captain.”
Steve sighs in relief and the others laugh mockingly at him.
“But seriously, kid, don’t go near him,” Tony stresses. “If he asks you questions, do that thing you do with the shareholders and annoy him to death so he leaves you alone, and then find Sam or Natasha if you can’t find Pepper and I, okay?”
Sam winks at her, and Natasha nudges her side. “Nobody will bother you around us, kid.”
