Commissioned from @akutouart
This depicts Penny Parker from Earth 11 in a revamp/expansion fic I am doing for her universe.
Since she was 11 years old when she was bit by the spider, the mutation that gave her spider powers drastically shifts her physical appearance and instincts once she hit puberty, now essentially, permanently making her a Man-Spider. This changes the course of her life forever and is the subject of an entire arc which will involve the X-men.
Thankfully she is a great aunt, friends and her Symbiote partner to support her.

The Parent Trap | 0.2 | Bradley Bradshaw x Reader au
♡ Previous Chapter | Next Chapter | Masterlist
♡ In which, after a couple of years of listening to Peyton and Parker Bradshaw complain about their parents’ custody agreement, Grandpa Mav’s meddling goes a little bit too far.
♡ warnings: mentions of divorce throughout the fic, flashbacks to arguments and unhappily married people. Idiots who still love each other and don’t know it, struggles during breastfeeding, Jake Seresin cameo, flashback indicated by italics
…
“She’s seeing someone? — You’re kidding!”
Penny looks up from the bar, eyebrows scrunching slightly as she stares across the otherwise empty room at her husband and his two adopted grandchildren. Sitting opposite the two young girls in a booth, the three of them turn their heads and realize that they’re been overheard, then quietly resume their gossiping.
Maverick has this idea in his head that Rooster isn’t happy being alone. He probably isn’t, most people aren’t — but Penny has told him time and time again not to meddle. Rooster’s kind of a hot head about his personal life and this can only end badly.
Anyone that has come across Pete Mitchell, though, will be able to tell you that trying to get a bad idea out of his head is like drawing blood from a stone. There’s no level of intervention that can stop whatever he’s up to. Besides, it is a little bit cute watching the three of them plotting away together.
The door startles Penny as she’s cleaning residue from the beer taps. It’s only eight in the morning, they aren’t open yet and that door is supposed to be locked. Mav left it open. Jake Seresin strolls in the same way he always does, sunglasses on, lips quirked. Like he owns the place.
“Penny.” He greets with a nod.
“Little bit early for me to be seeing you, isn’t it?” She replies with a soft smile, setting her cloth down and leaning her palms forwards on her side of the bar. Jake takes off his sunglasses and tucks them into the front pocket of his khakis.
“My blushing bride seems to think she left something here last night.” Jake answers without a hint of shame, lips quirked at the sides, knowing Penny knows exactly what he’s talking about.
“Ah. Yeah, I was wondering if she would be wanting it back.” Penny answers, her cheeks running hot even though she has nothing to be embarrassed about. Jake’s wedding is to a local girl that Penny has known for years, Quinn even worked her for a couple of summers while she was in college. Last night, Quinn’s bachelorette party began here.
Penny crouches down and slides the lost and found box out from under the counter. She presents Jake with a plastic bag. His brows scrunch slightly. Quinn only sent him here for a phone. Glancing between Penny and this mysterious plastic bag, he opens it gingerly. She watches as his grin grows slightly.
Sure, there’s his fiancées phone. But there’s also a cute little gimmicky thong that was a gift from one of her friends that proudly proclaims ‘Property of Captain Jake Seresin’ on it. There are a few other things too, but it’s the thong that really catches Jake’s eye. He chuckles and closes the bag again.
“Thanks for saving these for me, angel. I’ll make sure that they get back to Quinn safely.” He winks one of his green eyes at her and pats a hand over the top of the bag.
Penny breathes out a dry chuckle, shaking her head. In her almost fifteen years of knowing Jake, he hasn’t changed a bit. “I’m sure you will.”
The sound of hushed whispering draws Jake’s attention away from their conversation, his head turning towards the booth in the corner. He leaves the bag on the bar, wandering over, “Bradshaw’s!”
They turn their heads in unison, two freckled faces staring up at the man who taught them exactly how fun water balloons can be, smiles crossing their faces. “Hey, Jake.”
“What are you two troublemakers doing here? — Shouldn’t you be in school?” He checks the heavy, black IWC watch on his wrist and frowns slightly at the two of them.
“We got suspended.” Parker answers calmly, still undecided in whether or not she should feel guilty about the situation. It’s hard to feel guilty when she gets to spend an entire week hanging out with Grandpa Mav instead of learning fractions.
“No way,” Jake smiles at the idea, leaning forwards and resting his palms on the table on the booth. He has always said that the two of them take after their mother and this just proves it. You always had a knack for finding mischief. “What’d you do?”
“We swapped places so that I could beat someone up for her.” Peyton explains. Jake grins. He and Rooster might have had their differences, but Jake has always adored these little terrors. He turns his head towards Mav, raising his eyebrows and then looking back to the girls.
“You look like you’re up to no good right now.” Jake decides, folding his arms over his broad chest. The twins glance at Maverick and Jake knows that he’s right. He slips a hand into his pocket and pulls out his wallet, opening it up. He drops two five dollar bills in front of each of the girls, “Well, do me a favour and give your old man a little hell.”
“Thanks, Jake.” Parker grins up at him. Like butter wouldn’t melt with her little pigtails and their matching denim overalls. Jake smiles and gives them a curt nod as he steps back.
Jake chuckles to himself as he waves goodbye to Penny and takes his fiancée’s belongings back to his car.
“What did Bradley say when she told him?” Maverick presses.
“He was fine with it!” Peyton bangs her fists on the table, startling her sister and getting a sharp look from Penny. She sighs and folds her arms over her chest. “He’s going to meet this weirdo tomorrow!”
Maverick hums, resting his hand over his face. Admittedly, he hadn’t been expecting a third party and this derails some of the plans he had made with the kids. But, it doesn’t kill the plan completely.
He sits forwards and rests his hands on the table as they lean in closer to hear him. “Okay, so here’s what you do, and this is important, so listen.”
The next afternoon, Bradley finds himself more anxious than usual for the evening. It’s a big deal. Meeting someone who could be a big part of his childrens’ lives. Bradley glances around his room at the two of them, wondering for a moment what they would think if they knew.
Only, they do know, and they’re two steps ahead of him already.
“How come you’re watching me get ready? — You two never care what I wear.” Rooster squints at them through the mirror as he tries to tame his short curls with a small amount of styling wax. Parker picks up the pot and inspects it. Barber Barber beachcomber sea-salt infused styling paste. She lifts it and inhales. It smells good, at least.
Peyton searches through his closet, looking through shirt after shirt as she tries to find one that’s good enough.
“Are you going on a date?” Parker asks. He glances down at her as he grabs the deodorant from his dresser and sprays it under his arms.
“No, just going out with some friends.” He replies calmly. Telling white lies to your kids is just part of being a parent.
“Which friends?” Peyton prompts.
Rooster gives her a quick look from the corner of his eye and smooths a hand over his mustache, eyeing himself in the mirror. There’s more scrutiny in the way he looks at himself now than there used to be. It isn’t that he has let himself go, it’s just that he’s not as young as he used to be. Stronger now, a little less lean than he was back then.
“We don’t have to tell each other everything, you know.”
“I’m gonna remember that when you’re asking me who I’m going on a date with in a couple of years.” Parker replies.
“Watch it.” Rooster warns, instantly frowning at her. She smiles sweetly back up at him. She looks so much like you when she does that. There’s affection in the way he rolls his eyes and grabs his belt from his dresser. “You found a shirt for me yet, honeybee?”
Peyton hums in consideration and steps up onto the base of the wardrobe, extending onto her tiptoes to pull a hanger down from the rack. She turns and sets it on the bed, “Try this one.”
Rooster scrunches up his nose slightly, eyeing the coal coloured button up that his daughter just laid out in front of him. “Kinda boring, don’t you think?”
“It’s grown up.” She protests, hopping up onto the foot of his bed and staring him down, “Try it.”
It’s probably not the smartest move to take advice on what’s grown up and what isn’t from a seven year old, but Bradley relents. It’s a grey linen short sleeve. He slips it over his shoulders and buttons it up. Peyton frowns at her father’s reflection as Parker shakes her head in disapproval
Something about it isn’t clicking. It hugs him too tightly in the wrong places, it sits weird on his arms. He sighs softly. There’s no way he’s wearing this to see you.
“Guys?” The chirpy voice carries through the condo as the front door swings shut downstairs. Amber. Parker glances across at her sister as Bradley calls back that they’re upstairs.
Amber is the twenty year old college student that lives next door. She trails her manicured fingers along the wall as she strolls along the carpeted hallway, already barefoot by the time that she stops to lean up against Bradley’s doorframe. She’s super friendly and she has been so helpful since she got back from college for the summer. She adores the twins and will babysit whenever Bradley asks.
“Hey, Amber — does this look dumb?” Bradley asks, furrowing his brows as he half turns towards her, still eyeing up the awkward fit of the shirt through the mirror. She smiles, her plump, glossed lips quirking at the edges as she looks him up and down.
“Like that? — Um…” She presses her hand over her mouth like she’s about to laugh. Rooster scoffs and shakes his head as he starts to unbutton the shirt.
“Enough said. Pick something else, my little Honeybee.” He chuckles. Amber’s green eyes trail as his fingers work open the buttons on the shirt, revealing more and more tanned skin. Peyton moves to jump down.
“Wait, wait…” Crossing past Parker, she steps in front of her boss and looks him over once more. “We can fix this. Do you have tank tops?”
Parker moves to sit beside her sister on the bed. Faces stormy and their eyes crossed, they watch as this borderline teenager plays dress up with their daddy.
First she gives him a tank top, and then she recommends that he changes his pants. She fiddles through his jewelry while he changes. He steps out of his en-suite with the grey short sleeve unbuttoned and black dress pants that hug his hips perfectly.
“How do I look?”
Her hands reach out and curl into the unbuttoned sides of the shirt, holding onto the fabric as she looks him over. The smile on her lips is unmistakably sly as she nods her head at him, “Amazing. Right, girls?”
Met with immediate silence and stoney faces, Amber’s confidence wavers. Peyton folds her arms over her chest while Parker squints at her side.
“Alright, well I’ve gotta get going. There’s money in the kitchen for pizza, bed by nine at the latest. I’ll be back before eleven. Have fun, kids!”
Amber winces at herself being included in that. Even wearing her Mom’s perfume and the shortest skirt she owns, he’s still calling her kid. She doesn’t realise that Bradley’s aloofness doesn’t run in the family.
The knowing look in the girls’ eyes as their babysitter checks out of the window and watches their dad drive away. The trouble they’re already planning to ensure that she won’t be invited back.
“Babe?” Slamming the car door shut, Bradley damn near forgets to lock it as he bundles the plastic bag under his arm. He rushes forwards, crossing the browning lawn at the front of the condominium and fumbling for his house key. No time for lack of precision, he slips the key into the lock and twists. Even before the door opens, the screaming fills his ears. Hell, he could hear it before he had even turned the car radio off.
“Baby?” The powder-blue painted door swings open wide, chipping paint from the hallway wall that’ll count as a two hundred dollar reduction in the return of your rental deposit later on. He kicks it shut behind him and carries on through the small apartment, already knowing exactly where you are. There are technically only four rooms to pick from.
The kitchen and living room are all in one space. Small bathroom. Two bedrooms. The screaming tells him exactly which room you’re in. Rounding the corner into the nursery, his heart breaks in two. You’re sitting on the floor with your back to Parker’s crib, your head in your hands. He hadn’t heard you sobbing until right now.
“Baby,” He breathes out, legs carrying him forwards as he moves to sit next to you. Parker’s cradled in against your chest, wailing as loudly as her little lungs will let her. Behind you, Peyton’s screaming just as loud in her crib. “It’s okay, give me the baby.”
Up close, he can finally see the way that you’re trembling. No, not even trembling. Shaking. Your lips, your arms, your legs. Unable to hold still as your body wracks with sobs and your smaller baby flails in your arms. Faintly, you can hear your husband saying your name.
“Give me the baby, it’s okay.” Bradley says softly.
Your lip quivers as you cradle her closer to your chest, silent tears burning your cheeks as they stream freely. Your voice breaks, barely audible over the newborn screeches that fill your small apartment. “I called you over an hour ago.”
“I know, I’m sorry,” His adam’s apple bobs in his throat as he sits forwards, shuffling closer to you. He presses his lips to your temple, “I got here as quick as I could. Let me take her.”
You hold her closer, a silent sob wracking through you, feeling her tiny heart racing against your skin with how worked up she has gotten. Tears stream down your face without a break, living your skin wet and salty. “I can’t — s-she still won’t— I’ve been trying—“
“I know, I know, it’s alright,” He smooths a hand gently over the wispy curls on Parker’s head, fluffy and already thinning from the amount that she had been born with. He kisses your shoulder softly. “I got the formula.”
Parker was born smaller than her sister. It’s natural with twins, there’s almost always a smaller one. But, it’s been three weeks. Peyton latches without issue and her weight has been progressing normally. Three weeks old and yesterday’s doctors appointment confirmed that she’s still underweight.
Your mother managed to breastfeed four kids successfully. Four different pregnancies, four different times in her life — and you can’t manage just the two of them. She has been telling you since you found out that you were pregnant that your body would know what to do, that it would all be okay and it isn’t.
“C’mon, mama. Let’s get her fed,” Bradley hums softly as he reaches out for her. “Just need her to stop crying first. Right? — We’ll figure out what comes next after that.”
He kisses the top of your head as you relax your arms enough for him to take the newborn.
“That’s it. Alright, I’m gonna go and make her a bottle. Can you bring Peyton? — Doc says they should eat on the same schedule.” He pushes himself up with one hand and cradles your daughter with the other.
“I fucking fed Peyton already!”
It’s snappier than you mean for it to be. Your chest heaves after you speak, throat sore already from all of the crying. Bradley nods his head, “Perfect. That’s great — she’s probably just crying because loud mouth here’s keeping her up. She’ll calm down. I’m gonna be right back, baby. Two minutes.”
He scoops up the plastic back on the floor and wanders off towards the kitchen. Over the sound of the other twin screaming, you can hear him faintly shushing your daughter.
“Not even a month old yet,” Bradley hums, pressing his lips to his daughter’s forehead, then her nose. “Already being a little trouble-maker. We’ve got our work cut out with you, huh, kid?”
He sways softly, taking care to support her tiny head, leaning back to keep her balanced against his shoulder as he shifts her into one arm so that he can pour the boiled water. Humming softly, he doesn’t even realize that the crying in the other room has stopped until the bottle is ready and Parker’s screeching is replaced with the contented hums.
“Atta girl,” Rooster murmurs, his infant daughter rested safely along his forearm, leaned back against the kitchen counter and her bottle lifted in his other hand whilst she guzzles the formula back. “Gonna just as big as your sister one day, aren’t you?”
A soft whimper breaks his attention from the baby. He looks up and finds you standing in the doorway to the hall. This isn’t how motherhood looked when you had pictured it.
You, barely able to get one baby off to sleep, standing in yesterday’s pyjamas at four in the afternoon, watching your husband take care of the baby after he has been at work all day. You stare at him, still in his work khakis, making it look so natural.
Standing before him in one of his stretched out old hoodies and a pair of boxers that you bought for yourself in your final trimester. Skin blotchy and your eyes swollen with tears, you turn your face away from him towards the ground.
“Hi, beautiful,” Rooster smiles at you. After most of her two ounce bottle is finished, Parker stops drinking and Bradley sets the bottle down on the counter. His face soft, head tilted, those big brown eyes tugging at your heart strings. “Tough day?”
A sob catches in your throat as you stumble forwards and press yourself into his side. Parker tucked up against his other shoulder as he pats her back gently, he’s quick to wrap his other arm around you. He’s going to have to grow a third with him being outnumbered like this.
“I keep trying and she just won’t — or she can’t — or I’m doing something — a-and my Mom says that—“ Babbling on, dampening the shoulder of his uniform. Bradley simply rests his cheek against your hair and smiles to himself.
“Baby,” It’s enough to make you quiet for a minute. His hand patting Parker’s back softly, the gravel of his voice vibrating through his chest as your head lays against his shoulder. “Your Mom once asked me if the movie Avatar was based on a true story. She gets it wrong sometimes.”
You can’t help but chuckle at the analogy he chose, hugging yourself closer to his side, resting your hand against Parker’s back over the top of his.
“Formula or breastfeeding — whatever stops her from screaming the house down like that is a win in my book. How about yours?” Bradley asks, rubbing his free hand up and down along the base of your spine. You nod softly against his chest. He pulls back and lays Parker down along the length of his forearm again, her head resting against your stomach.
“I just want to do it all right. They’re so perfect, and I just… I want to be perfect for them too, like you are.”
“Me? — Perfect?” Bradley lifts his head and grins at you. He unhooks his arm from around your waist and presses the back of his palm to your forehead. “All these kids are making you loopy, baby.”
You lean down and kiss her forehead softly, then settle back in against Bradley’s side. “I’m so worried about her already. Do you think we ever stop feeling like this?”
Bradley shakes his head softly as he strokes his index finger along her rounded cheek, and over her chin. “Nah. Kids are designed to stress their parents out, it’s like their sole purpose.”
Lips quirking softly at the sides, you glance up at him and know that he’s probably right. Doing it with him made it all seem okay, though. Being stressed out with him at your side didn’t seem so tough.
Now, staring at him across the restaurant, it suddenly occurs to you to wonder when all of that changed. When had doing it alone become a safer option than having him with you? — Those last few months all seem so blurry now.
The memories might be fuzzy but the feelings aren’t. They’re heavy and they’ve sat with you for the past two years. You might not remember exactly why you let him go, but the pain is enough to know that you wouldn’t like to feel that way again.
“Rooster!”
Chris and Bradley’s heads turn at the same time. Bradley nods in acknowledgement as his autopilot directs him to do. Then, he steps past the hostess and points to the two of you. He takes in what’s in front of him as he walks over.
This new guy isn’t ugly, which is more irritating than Bradley was expecting it to be. He looks him up and down. Loose fitting jeans and a flannel shirt buttoned up. Brown hair that really isn’t styled all that differently from Bradley’s. But, thanks to Amber, Bradley is dressed significantly better.
The pants fit him perfectly and the charcoal shirt just makes his skin look even more golden than it usually is. You squint softly and wonder who the fuck dressed him — because the man that you married doesn’t dress like that.
Maybe the man that you divorced does. It’s been a long time since you saw Bradley for something other than drop offs or pick ups.
“Hey.”
“Roo— Bradley,” It seems more grown up, more formal. A more appropriate way to refer to your ex husband. “This is Chris. Chris, this is Bradley.”
“Heard a lot about you.” Chris smiles, cheeks dimpling as he sticks his hand out. You watch as Bradley takes his hand and shakes it casually. Weird — it’s weird.
“You’re still a man of mystery to me,” Bradley admits playfully, shooting you a quick look and noticing that you’re eyeing his outfit. Letting the babysitter pick what he was wearing was a good choice. “Luckily, I’m good at asking questions.”
Small talk, small talk. Your ex-husband and your boyfriend are hitting it off like a house on fire and you’re just standing idly between them, wondering why this doesn’t please you as much as it should.
The nerves that have been bothering you all weekend don’t settle down even when they’re laughing and jibing each other about football teams and golf. You didn’t even know that Bradley played golf.
You’re shown to your table and you accidentally pick the seat between them. Chris sits back in his seat with one hand on your knee and the other curled around his beer as he teases Bradley about a football game from three years ago that their teams played against each other.
As much as he’s enjoying the conversation, Bradley’s eyes keep wandering back to that guy’s hand on your knee. His foot taps impatiently against the floor, fighting to keep his focus on the conversation.
Finally, focus shifts to something a little more engaging for you when Bradley asks you how the two of you met. He sits back on his chair and watches the two of you finish each other’s sentences.
“Well, Chris’ workshop is right down the street from my store, and y’know, I have consultations all the time and weddings are stressful so I like to keep my appointments chill and quiet, but then he was always—“
“Y’know, building something. Hammering, sawing, whatever. And there are a couple of times actually, where she came flying through the door of my shop telling me what’s what and —“
His thumb swipes through the condensation on his beer, staring at you. Your face is turned away from him, looking at Chris with this dopey, lovesick look on your face. Bradley wonders if you’ve told him that you love him yet.
It’s a cute story. The way that you’re beaming across the table at this guy doesn’t make Bradley happy, but he knows that it should. By the time you’re finished eating, he has searched high and low for some kind of major character flaw on this guy and had come up with nothing.
Short, brown hair. Stubble covering his jaw, kind of a squinty cowboy look to contrast the sharp blue of his eyes, not short. Handsome, sure. And he’s great with kids.
Bradley damn near picks up his dessert spoon and turns it into a weapon — either for use on himself or your new boyfriend, he isn’t sure, when he listens to Chris’ stories from his work with inner city kids.
Thankfully, right as they’re getting into the nitty gritty of Chris’ charitable personality, Bradley’s phone cuts through the silence. You grin across the table at Chris, squeezing his large palm in yours and pretending that this doesn’t make you as uncomfortable as it does.
“Whoa — kid, slow down. What?” Bradley plugs a finger into his other ear, brows furrowing as he tries to decipher the incoherent babbling on the other end of the phone.
“I looked everywhere, and I’ve been calling them for like fifteen minutes! I don’t know if they’re hiding or they ran away but I’m freaking out right now, please don’t be mad at me — should I call the cops?”
Rooster pushes his chair out and stands up from the table. “Jesus Christ, no. Don’t call the cops, I’m on my way. Did you check the crawl space in my room?”
“Cops? — Rooster, what the fuck?” You frown at him from across the table. Rooster sighs and presses his finger into his ear drum to understand the shrieking girl on the line.
“There’s a crawl space in your room?”
“Just, hang tight. I’m gonna be ten minutes. Tell them I’m on my way and they’ll probably turn up.” He hangs up and shoves his phone into his pocket, grabbing his wallet and tugging it open. “I’m really sorry, I’ve gotta run. It was great meeting you Chris, you seem really cool, but, uh—“
“Rooster, did you let somebody lose our kids?”
“No! I left them with a very responsible babysitter, actually, and I’m pretty sure that they’re just messing with her.”
“Oh, well that’s good. You’re pretty sure.” You sigh, shaking your head at him as you set your glass down. “I’ll be sure to mention that when I issue the amber alert.”
Chris slips his hand into yours and squeezes softly as Bradley tosses his card down onto the table.
“Whatever. I’ll text you.” He slips his wallet back into his pants and turns, leaving your mouth gaping.
“Are you kidding — our kids might be missing, we’re obviously coming. Right?” You shoot a look across at Chris as it occurs to you that this is probably extremely overwhelming for him. He gives you a calm smile and nods his head at you.

Welcome to an AU that came to me in a vision during my annual Leverage rewatch called "The Leverage AU."
I don't know if I'll ever touch it again (although I am hosting a Leverage watch party so maybe) but just in case I'm putting my brain dump under the cut.
After Rui leaves Orre, she goes to the law enforcement to try and get protection for Wes, especially as they just left the region with a giant power vacuum.
Meanwhile Chief Anabel at Interpol is at her wits end. She has a case file of suspected criminals, who she knows is are the masterminds and/or leaders of various evil Teams, but with no evidence to arrest them.
Looker presents her with the case files of various criminals in custody (plus Wes) and presents an idea: a task force of criminals under the control and direction of Rui, and by extension Interpol.
Given that she has no other options, Chief Anabel signs off on the newly created Alternative Evidence and Legal Dispute Unit, or AELDU for short.
As far as technical expertise (ie. crime knowledge) goes, Wes is the linchpin holding the whole operation together. You need a wallet lifted? Wes can do it. You need someone to silently break into a building through the air ducts? Wes can do it. You need someone to beat the shit out of four grunts? Wes can do it.
On the other side of the coin, N is the grifter of the group. He can play any role you need him to. He can be a long lost Galarian Duke, a savvy up and coming business owner, a flirty one night stand, etc. He grew up learning all the manipulation tactics and cons in the books, and he's glad to be able to use his knowledge for good instead.
Penny is obviously the hacker.
Gladion is honestly really bad at crime. He got caught graffitting a cop car. However, he's really passionate and eager to learn, and while N doesn't think the kids (Penny and Gladion) should be getting involved in crime, even if it's for a good cause. Wes is working on getting Gladion's lockpicking time under 5 seconds and his punches into form.
Rui was initially just there to keep everyone in line, be the moral compass of the team. However, Rui is the granddaughter of Ace Trainer Eagun, who had the reputation of being a master of strategy. Rui is the one who puts together the full plans for the team to follow, and she picks up some manipulation skills from N and ass kicking skills from Wes.
Wes can do a little bit of grifting, but his skills only extend to "however long it takes for him to get out of whatever shit he got himself in." If you've seen the show, think Parker level grifting: he can be a fake waiter for the two minutes it takes him to get to the back.
Wes becomes the older brother figure to Rui, Penny and Gladion against his will. To be clear, he is a terrible role model. He is trying his best anyways.
Meanwhile, N takes it upon himself to be an older brother figure for Wes. Wes also hates this.
Rui hides Plusle in her jacket and uses the Pokemon as a taser.
N is an excellent actor when it comes to swindling and every day situations. You put him on a stage or in front of a camera? He's the worst actor you've ever seen. Rui is very gently trying dissuade N's dreams of an acting career.
Wes's jacket even has a role in the team! Wes has so much random shit in his pockets that he's snagged that he never thought would come in handy until now.
When they put Wes into a role (ie. fake caterer, fake baseball player, fake country star, etc), he gets WAY to into his role. Sorry gang, Wes can't search the house for the safe, he's too busy chopping onions for the appetizers.
Leon sometimes orbited in the vicinity of the gang's marks, as the only full time Champion and pretty much a celebrity. One time, Wes (undercover as a waiter) got caught kicking the ass of some Macro Cosmos agents. He was completely unprepared for the response from Leon being like "that was so cool!"
Later, Rui and N have to coach Wes on how to go on a date.

Half Life - Across/Into the Spiderverse AU. Think fast.
Explanations and some ramblings below the cut!
Miles Morales -> Alyx Vance RIPeter Parker -> Gordead Freeman Peter B Parker -> Gordon Feetman Gwen Stacy -> Chell bc I said so Spider Noir -> Gordon Freemind Penni Parker -> Grace Freeman (guys she's trans omg) Peter Porker -> Cuphead AU Gordon (doesn't have a name yet) The Prowler -> Judith Mossman Kingpin -> Wallace Breen Kingpin's grunts -> Various Combine ranks Jess Drew -> Azian Vance (SHE'S ALIVE WOAHHH) Pavitr Prabhakar -> Gordon B Freeman (Y2KVR) Hobie Brown -> Doug Rattman Miguel O'Hara -> Gman (possibly an alt ver of Coolatta but idk yet) Mayday Parker -> Joshua Freeman Spider-Byte -> Russel (HL:A) The Spot -> Benrey (Half Life version)
The idea behind this AU is that "Spiderman" is instead "The One Free Man," though the title changes depending on who's in the HEV suit. In the timeline we follow, Gordon gets killed after a second HEV suit just kinda *shows up* in the timeline without explanation, and Alyx puts it on, taking his place as The One Free Man.
ITSV plays out similarly with the Combine doing some Wacky Shit™ that brings other universes together (HLVRAI, Freeman's Mind, ect). Instead of jumping universes to completely different planets, they want to jump to the *same* planet in a different universe, an ability they ALMOST achieved before Alyx came through with her Freemanverse entourage and blew up the Citadel.
In the explosion, though, was Benrey. Not HLVRAI Benrey, but a different version of him. Gordon M Freeman (HLVRAI) is here after the events of his universe, so to him, this other Benrey is both a potential threat, and a second chance, while Alyx sees a potential ally and friend.
Half Life Benrey story:
The Combine already got to his world
They couldn't assimilate his species into their army because their regen abilities reversed anything done to them
Benrey managed to flee to Xen in one way or another
Lived there for a while
Gordon Pushed a Crystal™ and opened the rift
Benrey saw him fighting Nihlanth before getting taken to Earth in a portal storm
Lived there in hiding for like 2 minutes before-
The Combine showed up and destroyed the place
Benrey runs for a good part of his life
Captured by the Combine as a teenager
Lived in the upper parts of the Citadel for 8 years
When it explodes, he becomes Spot
Blames Gordon (and thus, the Resistance) for what happened to him and hates the Combine
He becomes his own 3rd party in the war
Alyx convinces him to join their side
FUCK the Combine they SUCK >:(
I have more ideas but i forgor
Just take this in the meanwhile! :)

E-8 Au Stuff P1 (old 🤠)
Au ranting time for @g4v1nsgun ✨✨✨ (sorry i took a a while)
Also credits to @guardianofzing for one of the images i use here and credits to however else made the others cuz idk
So everyone knows both of these groups right, rotbtd and the futuristic four
Yeah we all know them
To my complete surprise there is little to no content with all eight of them, which is crazy cuz this being a crossover fandom i assumed people would go nuts for a team up
So i decided to do it myself, and i introduce them as: The Elite Eight (ft a mediocre edit)
The team dynamics would work the same way they would as in their regular settings, i.e.:
Hiccup and Penny are the voices of reason, Merida and Wilbur are the thrill seekers etc etc
Only difference is now that the group is basically 4 freshmen and 4 juniors we have the classic Mentor and Student dynamic
As for the world building, to sum it up rq. It’s a modern/futuristic with magic universe combining brave, tangled/tts, bh6, bolt, mtr, the incredibles(1-2) and elements of rotg and httyd (specifically race to the edge)
Things like dragons, wisps, and magic all exist, but in a percy jackson type fashion. Only specific people can see these things ykwim
The movies are all canon (not rotg, for reasons to be elaborated on later) but with a modern twist, to be explained below:
How To Train Your Dragon - 3 years pre-canon
Meet The Robinsons, Bolt - 2 years pre-canon
Big Hero Six - 1 year pre-canon
Brave, Tangled, Rise Of The Guardians - in the story
As for ROTG, the whole “guardians of childhood” thing isn’t in this au because i couldn’t make it work. So for a modern retelling of that, tldr Jack is basically a teen in the foster system with major amnesia. The guardians are as they were but they’re not “guardians”, more like Jacks new foster family that also happen to be a bunch of magical creatures and myths.
The guardians and their house are basically a fusion of professor xaviors mansion/school for mutants(X-Men), the house in The Grimm Sisters, the treehouse in The Last Kids On Earth and the camp in Percy Jackson.
As for the superhero aspect, Violet and Hiro are gonna get the Peter Parker treatment. They’re hiding things from everyone else, which is crazy because everyone in the group is hiding something and i think that’s super funny
That’s it for part one! Part two will be up later on at some point

Into the Ninjaverse: RC9GN AU
Alright, I finally managed to have some time to myself-
I had two different directions for this verse and I've yet to decide which one I want to use. I'll start with one that's more 'true' to the canon of ITSV/ATSV and the idea that OG! Randy takes the spot of Miles Morales (and poor Randy is definitely going to go through it-). I'm honestly thinking that across multiple universes, there are other Ninjas (none of which are Randy, for ahems reasons-). Unfortunately for our hero, he finds one of the Ninjas in his own dimension and decides he needs to help them.
Randy is startled to realize this is the First Ninja, only... different. He doesn't know what to do, deciding he's just flat out bringing him home. I honestly think the reason he makes the connection is either outfit design OR Finja takes the mask off in front of Randy and that's how he knows, but moving on-
So Randy now is finding out other universes exist- this poor kid is a little overwhelmed because he's been the Ninja for less than a year and is struggling to wrap his mind around it. Unfortunately, things spiral out of control when other Ninjas appear- it's now caught the attention of McFist, Viceroy, and the Sorcerer which is a massive problem. The Ninjas will have to face them head on as the final arc, but of course I could still be a menace if ATSV and the "Ninja Society" is integrated into the storyline. We'll be getting to that later!
Option 2 is honestly based off of having OG Randy meeting the different AU's I've created- the problem is just choosing the right ones, or pick the ones my readers (and myself because this is incredibly self indulgent) would be most interested by. I honestly think this could be done as a season finale type thing where I kind of just chuck Randy into a portal and is now stuck in another reality with no way to get home but ends up in other dimensions, and it's a whole mess because reasons
Although genuinely, I'm leaning more toward the first one so! I'm providing a brief depiction of each of the characters- both in the OG and alternate timelines
Randy Cunningham (canon universe)- 14 at the start of ITNV. He's only been the Ninja for a few months and is still adjusting to his duties but overall, he's doing pretty well. He ends up finding an alternate version of the First Ninja and decides to help him (how could he not when he literally finds him unconscious?)
Howard Weinerman (canon universe): pretty much the same as canon! Nothing really changes yet-
First Ninja / ??? (alternate universe/dimension 616): meant to take the role of Peter B Parker, this version of Finja has long since retired from his responsibilities as the Ninja. Due to things going wrong in his timeline, he hasn't been as active as he could be and his meeting with Randy only happens by pure chance
Howard Weinerman/??? (alternate universe): This version of Howard is still in the works, but I like to think he's not the Ninja per se- genuinely thinking of incorporating a version of Howard who works for McFist and Viceroy, or even something to do with tengu! Howard. Only... he's extremely startled and surprised to see Randy (though why?)
Theresa Fowler/The Purple Ninja (alternate universe): I feel like she'd be a little adjacent to Penny from ITSV! Because I said so- there's not really a lot for her right now, but I don't consider Fowlham endgame for this AU at all (i have other things in mind, that's all i'm going to say)
Nomi/Nomicon/??? (alternate canon): y'all are going to hate me for this- or you might not, but I do consider there's the one singular universe where the Nomicon is human and takes on a role eerily similar to Miguel Rivera for... ahems reasons (i think you can figure it out, but for now- consider all of this to be non-canon to the ITNV world! at least for now)
I like to think canon! Nomicon can have a human form but chooses not to reveal themself- as a personal quota to remain cold and neutral to all Ninjas but at the same time, they can't help seeing something different in Randy. This is self indulgent, I'm going to write what I want hahah
There's also a lesser version of this idea where it's more like the Ninjas are still Ninjas, but also have like- spiderman-esque vibes as well? I keep thinking of a fusion between the two, and now honestly I might just switch between the three versions until I settle on one I like!
For now, these are my current thoughts! Please comment on this or something- I genuinely want to see who's interested!
Current Tag List:
into the ninjaverse / ITNV - general tag
ask itnv - for asks about the characters!
itnv talks - responses/answers to the asks
I'm not really expecting this AU to garner a lot of attention but just in case- I have these setup because someone's got to be interested!

hello i’m not sure if you take requests butttt if you doooo could we get a fourth of july thing where the reader gets anxious from fireworks and just wants to be with peter for comfort for us sensitive girlies🙏😩🤭 (also i love ur writing it’s so sweet and silly hehe)
Title: Sparkles and Surprises
Fourth of July!AU | Fireworks!AU | Boyfriend!Peter Parker x Reader
genre: fluff, hurt/comfort, lil comedy
description: requested
word count: 2.7k
warnings: Peter doing the most and having horrible time management skills, one Far From Home reference, just fluffy fluff.
a/n: THANK YOU FOR THE REQUEST! I've never done a request before, it was fun. I hope I did your request justice. Your compliment made me smile. :)
Peter checked his phone, alarmed to see the flurry of texts asking where he was. Time slipped by without him realizing and he had promised to be there for you tonight. He texted you back that he was on his way as he cleaned up his area in Mr. Stark’s lab. With a hurried thanks to his mentor, he was out the door swinging back to his apartment.
[Y/N]: Don’t text and walk!
Peter: 😘
Actually, he was texting and swinging, but you didn’t need to know that. Aside from almost crashing into a bus just now, he was fine. He couldn’t wait to show you what he had been working on because this Fourth of July was going to be perfect, thanks to his foolproof three-step plan.
In his backpack was step one, the thing he’s been working on at the lab for the past week. During the time you’ve dated, Peter learned you were highly sensitive to loud sounds. It startled you to the point of where you didn’t even like having balloons at your birthday party in case they popped. The very thought of today’s holiday brought you immense discomfort because you couldn’t stand fireworks.
So when your family said they were going to see the fireworks show, you sighed and accepted your fate of spending the night alone again this year. However, Peter couldn’t accept that. He didn’t want you to face your fear alone. He immediately offered for you to come spend the night over at his place. You feared you were holding him back from enjoying the night, but he didn’t care about fireworks. He cared about you.
“Okay, I’ll be at your place at 8:30,” you said over the phone.
“Great. Aunt May will let you in. I have some things to do with Mr. Stark and then I’ll be right there with you.”
“You promise?”
“I promise.”
“You promise you’ll get home before the fireworks show starts?”
“Of course.”
“Pinky promise?”
He laughed, putting his pinky in the air. “I’m pinky promising the imaginary you in front of me right now.”
“Is she pretty?”
“Very.”
You smiled to yourself. “Alright. Don’t be late.”
As he swung through the city, he spotted step two: your favorite place for take-out. He landed gracefully at the entrance and walked in, noticing how long the line was.
“Aw man…”
Checking the time on his phone, he tilted his head side to side, calculating if waiting in line was worth it. The thought of seeing your face light up with joy if he’d show up with your favorite food convinced him it was worth the hassle. He tapped his foot impatiently, deep down wishing Spider-Man got a free pass to the front, but he knew that’d be abusing his status. After enduring 15 minutes of waiting, he reached the front of the line and ordered your usual, making sure to include all the customizations and sauces you liked. Fortunately, the food came out quicker than the actual waiting in line to order. Peter rummaged through his pockets, pulling out a wad of crumpled cash and spare change. He attempted to pay, but disaster had struck as the coins slipped from his grasp.
His eyes widened in disbelief as the floor transformed into a sea of copper. He let out an exasperated groan as he hunched down to pick them all up.
“Of all coins, why did it have to be pennies?” he muttered.
“[Y/N] is calling, Peter. Do you want to take her call?” his AI aka Peter’s suit lady asked.
“Oh! Yes please!”
“Babe, where are you? The fireworks show is starting really soon. I already hear some people firing them nearby.”
“I’m coming, beautiful. I promise I’m almost there. I got off at the wrong stop and it’s a long story, I’ll see you soon!”
He ended the call, feeling guilty for the white lie, but his plan would make up for it. Speeding up the process, he used his webs and lumped all the coins into one big blob, presenting the bizarre creation to the cashier with an exaggerated shrug.
“Keep the change,” he said, giving him a playful finger gun gesture. Leaving the perplexed cashier behind, he left the shop and checked the time, knowing he was ready for step three of his master plan.
It consisted of going to your favorite cafe, just a short block away. Peter’s confidence soared when he noticed there was no one in line, as if the universe was on his side. Approaching the counter, he flawlessly ordered your drink, stunning the employees with his eloquence in listing all your favorite add-ins. The drink was almost done when a group of enthusiastic fans burst into the cafe, excited to see the iconic red and blue-clad superhero.
“Oh my gosh, can we get a picture? Please?”
“Do a backflip!”
Even though Peter attempted to decline, he ultimately gave in because Spider-Man was compassionate. He loved all his fans (even the relentless ones who couldn’t take a hint). Besides, there was plenty of time to get back to you because he had now completed all three steps.
“Thanks Spider-Man!”
“Yeah, no problem!” he shouted back as he ran out of the cafe after the impromptu photo session. He checked the time once again, sighing in relief that he had time to spare. Unfortunately, his heightened senses detected something amiss nearby. Peter groaned, torn between his desire to help and the urge to get home quickly. “Damn it.”
He turned a corner to spot a group of criminals causing mischief in an alleyway. Setting down the food and drink, he approached them, determined to bring justice.
“Guess crime doesn’t take a holiday, huh?” Peter quipped at the startled group. They stopped fighting momentarily, staring at each other before sending a hail of bullets his way. Peter evaded their attacks effortlessly with a perfectly executed backflip, dodging the projectiles with ease. With a mischievous grin, he shot out a series of webs, ensnaring the criminals and leaving them dangling like confused pinatas.
Things seemed victorious for Peter until more thugs suddenly showed up, almost like a hidden level in a video game. He threw up his hands in mock frustration and groaned.
“You guys are ruining my night, you know that?”
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
*Thwip, thwip, thwip, thwip*
“Hey, let us down!”
“I think you should thank me for giving you a great view of the fireworks. Have a blast, fellas!”
Oh man, you were totally going to kill him now. His phone was spammed with texts from you, mostly asking where he was. This was not how it was supposed to go down; his plan was meant to be foolproof. Panic set in, and he hurriedly grabbed the food and drink, bolting home to change in the only secluded spot he could find. Then he sprinted up the stairs to his apartment, unfortunately spilling the drink on himself from clutching it so tightly against his chest.
“No, no, no, argh, ew. Ugh,” he groaned, drenched in the beverage. He persevered and unlocked the door, stepping in and calling out for you.
*BOOM*
“Babe, I’m here!”
Aside from the fireworks, only silence greeted him in response. He threw his backpack onto the nearest table, glancing around the empty living room and kitchen. Where were you? Wait, where was Aunt May?
“May?”
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
He narrowed his eyes, seeing his bedroom door open. He headed straight inside, only to see his bed covers slightly wrinkled and his blanket missing.
“Babe?” he called out, voice laced with concern.
From the left, faint sniffles reached his ears, drawing his attention to the closet door. He set down his stuff on the dresser and then opened the closet to reveal you, cocooned in a mountain of blanket, tears streaming down your face. As your eyes met his, he felt his heart ache.
“Oh my gosh, baby, I’m so sorry,” he whispered, immediately lowering himself to your level and enveloping you in a tight embrace, feeling how much you were trembling. A whirlwind of emotions flooded through you—anger for his lateness, fear from the fireworks, and joy from the comforting scent of his hoodie. Yet one emotion trumped them all as soon as your chests collided.
“... You’re wet,” you managed to say in between sobs. “Gross…”
“Ah, yeah, I did this stupid thing and spilled the drink I got you.” He quickly took off his hoodie and discarded it to the side, hugging you once more.
“You’re late.”
“I know, I’m sorry.”
You pushed him off you and hit his chest repeatedly, your strikes were too weak to do any real damage. “You were late!”
*BOOM*
You jumped back into his arms, scared out of your wits. He couldn’t help but chuckle, holding you tight with one hand on the back of your head.
“This doesn’t mean you’re off the hook,” you muttered, squeezing him tight.
“I know,” he replied, his voice filled with understanding.
You two stayed like that for 15 minutes, giving you enough time to take some deep breaths and enjoy being embraced by your boyfriend. Somewhere along the line you allowed him to join you in your mound of blanket after he asked you with those beautiful brown puppy dog eyes of his.
“It’s so loud… and it’s not stopping anytime soon.”
“Well, I got you something. Wait here.”
You lifted your head off his shoulder and protested, “No, please stay.”
“I promise it’ll be okay. I’ll be right back. It’s just on my dresser,” he said, pointing to the furniture item that was only a few feet away.
*BOOM*
You shut your eyes tight, taking another deep breath before letting him go. Peter rushed to the dresser and grabbed all the stuff, then returned to you and closed the closet door. With a pull of the switch on the ceiling, he lit the closet with the soft glow of the lightbulb before settling down.
“This is your favorite drink, um… well half of it,” he said sheepishly, handing you the nearly empty beverage.
“Peter…”
“And I got you your favorite food. It might be cold now though, do you want me to microwave it?”
“No, that’s okay.”
“And I got you–”
“Peter, stop.”
He froze, sensing the seriousness in your voice. “Is something wrong?”
*BOOM*
You winced at the sound, but remained strong. “Aside from the constant explosions… yes. I appreciate you going out of your way to get me my favorite things. I’m thankful, really.”
Your eyes went toward the floor, your nerves getting the best of you. Peter placed his hand on top of yours. “It’s okay. Tell me what’s wrong.”
“You were late. And I really needed you here. You broke your promise to me,” you expressed with a tinge of disappointment.
“I know and I feel awful about it. I just wanted this night to go perfect for you. I wanted to impress you,” he explained sincerely.
Your head snapped up, surprise and affection in your eyes. “Impress me? You don’t need to impress me.”
“I don’t?”
“No. I’m impressed by you everyday. You’re sweet, thoughtful, so unbelievably smart, and…” you trailed off once you noticed how wide Peter’s grin kept growing.
“And~?” he prodded, his eyes sparkling.
“Cheeky. Irresponsible. Late,” you teased, unable to contain your laughter. His smile faltered, but you quickly reassured him. “Thank you for going out of your way to get my favorite things. But you forgot the most important one.”
Peter’s eyes widened as he held his hand rested on his head in a thoughtful thinking pose. What could he have forgotten?
“Oh! Wait! Here’s the last thing I got you.”
He whipped out a pair of headphones that had been hiding behind him. “I made these with Mr. Stark. They’re noise-canceling headphones, so you won’t be able to hear the fireworks. They have a 100% success rate while most store-bought ones only work 99% of the time (how is that any more impressive, you thought, laughing on the inside at his nerdy rambling). You won’t be able to hear anything. You can play music or call me and other cool features. And I made it your favorite color! Here.”
He carefully placed the headphones on your head and you couldn’t help but admire his concentrated face and how delicate he was with you. It made your heart beat faster, and above all, it made you feel safe. That's all you had ever wanted.
“Can you hear me?” Peter asked, his lips moving while you tried to read them. You shook your head. He was always very expressive with his body, shouting “yes!” while doing a fist pump in response.
“But babe this isn’t my most favorite thing,” you exclaimed, not realizing you were shouting louder than you intended because of the headphones. Peter closed his eyes and covered his ears, prompting you to tilt your head in confusion. He opened one eye, a smile playing on his lips.
“You’re shouting!” he exclaimed.
“What?”
“I said you’re shouting,” he said, mimicking the motion of Pac-Man’s mouth with his hands.
“Oh~. My bad!” you said, still shouting. Peter chuckled at how cute you were before your words finally registered.
"Wait, what did I forget?" You kept your gaze fixed on him, and he realized he had to ask you again. "What's the thing I forgot that's your favorite?"
The way he acted out every word made you giggle because it was like a game of charades. “You! You’re my favorite thing in the world! That’s all I needed tonight!”
His face lit up with joy as he leaned in for a kiss. You closed your eyes as his warm, tender lips gently met yours, igniting a spark that traveled through your entire body. The kiss was gentle and sweet, ending with a soft smooching sound. He pulled away just enough to rest his forehead against yours, his smile matching your own.
“Well, since I’m your favorite I guess you don’t need this.” He reached into the to-go bag and stole a few fries, eating them without remorse right in front of you. Your jaw dropped in shock at the betrayal as you pulled away from him.
“Hey, those are mine!”
“But you said I’m your favorite!” You didn’t register what he said or even cared, trying to get the food back from him, but he lifted the bag high out of reach. You nearly climbed over his seated body, making him nearly choke on the fry out of laughter. In a surprising move, he somehow got past you and opened the closet door, darting to the living room. You chased after him around the kitchen before watching him hop over the couch like it was nothing.
“Peter Parker, I swear…” Your sharp eyes then noticed his backpack, which was partially open and what appeared to be a sleeve dangling off it. The vibrant red and blue colors made you squint as your mind pieced the clues together. Peter followed your gaze and his face grew panicked. “What is that?”
“What is what?” he said, a tinge of nervousness in his voice. Despite not you being able to hear, his face said it all. You went over to his backpack, but he snatched it and hid it behind his back.
“Is that what I think it is?”
Peter held his hand up in a stop motion when you tried to grab it from him. “D-Depends on what you think it is.”
You took off your headphones, unfazed when the last firework crackled in the distance.
*BOOM*
“You’re Spider-Man.”
Peter scrambled to think about what to say next. “W-Well, Aunt May isn’t here. She-She’s Spider-Man. It’s hers.”
“Then why is there a suit in your bag?”
“I’m just her glorified sidekick Spider-Boy!” he spewed out frantically.
“But May’s watching the fireworks with Happy,” you countered, raising an eyebrow.
"Wait, they're dating? Aunt May and Happy? Wow, that's... unexpected. Gotta admit, I'm a bit out of the loop on this one."
“Don’t change the subject!”
He used his free hand to snatch the headphones back from your grasp and dramatically placed them on his head.
“Oh no, babe. I can’t hear anything you’re saying. Wow, these work really well, I can’t even hear myself. Hello~, hello~?”
God, you wanted to kill him and kiss him all at once. You grabbed the nearest non-threatening weapon and Peter started to scream.
“NOT THE BANANAS!”
*BOOM*
