Oh no I meant even if I don't want to eat I still feel hungry you know? like somehow eating mithruns desire to sleep/eat has made it so he can't physically feel tired/hungry

But he feels physically tired and hungry he just can't/wont acknowledge it, same as Marcille at the end, the undone hair is bothersome but she has no impulse at all to even take it out of her mouth

They "feel" what was eaten from them but their minds don't acknowledge it. Mithrun gets tired, gets hungry, cold, hot, but he doesn't show it because he has forgotten how, it's not that his body can't get hungry or tired is that he can't do anything about it, his body falls on the floor from lack of mana, he's thin and has chapped lips from not eating or drinking enough, so it's still there he just can't react or maybe even notice.

howdy, im nate and i hate to be doing this again but well. shits fucked. me n 3/4 of the other people that i live with are disabled, only one is on SSI (my mom), while the rest of us (me, my dad, and my brother) are still working on it. my brother is officially in a work training program, but it will be some time before he gets an income. the one abled person (my other sibling) IS working but lol. thats not enough for five of us. heres what i have right now - maybe enough for me to get my next refill of meds. (idk how much itll be without insurance/if ill still have it by then)

after almost two years i finally have a tentative diagnosis as fibromyalgia, but who knows if i can get on SSI or how long it will take, AND i am actively losing my insurance, either the end of this month (july) or next month (august) so I will need even more money to continue treatment....

more taco thoughts.... I think tacomic is the kind of couple to go off and make out somewhere but anyways. I love knife always being there to take care of taco because OF COURSE HE FUCKING DOES. I am obsessed with him also being pretty used to see a dejected and hurt taco that is like this close to run away back into the woods, he sees himself in her nd to an extend her understands her pain. He also doesn't want to see her hurting herself and so I think there will be times where he just picks her up as if she was some cat, taco if PISSED for something and its on the brink of a breakdown acting impulsively and poisonous because its what feels safer in that moment, and knife just- picks her up. And manages to tire her out and to everyone's surprise girl ends passing out cold, he lets her sleep by his side and smiles, and just doesn't bring it up to her later. I keep saying there will a point where pickle sees hurt taco or at least glimpses of her because of this. Knife cares for her too in his own little way so he goes out of his way to make sure taco is at the very least stable enough to be on her own, taco doesn't get it at all but doesn't do anything about it unless it gets too personal. Knife is perceptive I think he knows how to outsmart her into admitting things she wouldn't otherwise and taco loathes it. Knife doesn't do that unless he has to but taco feels so violated everytime she just shuts up and becomes smaller, she hates being seen and she wants to make herself as small as possible, and like I said of course pickle would see these types of moments between them because well he and knife are close, and despite everything both of them have a thing in common and is that they do not want taco to destroy herself in spite of what they may feel towards her. So, maybe pickle tags along from time to time, gently pats her shoulder or give her a blanket. And smiles when he hears taco giving him a small 'thank you' they wont ever be friends, or the same ever again but both of them are alright with that at some point, they have this solidarity and its the best outcome they both can get. They don't have to be friends again but, who is prohibiting them from being silly from time to time? to find some common ground? and so I think that's how they go.

I really like the idea of Pickle and Taco finding solidarity/common ground post-finale, despite not becoming friends again. Here is a short thing I wrote, there is more to come I promise. (Please act like my terrible english is not by accident and that Noa writes stories with this grammar)

The thing is, I don´t actually think that I´m evolving, that´s just something I said to make Mae mad. I believe that I am learning and that I can do things most apes don´t. Evolving just sounds too drastic, too soon. Even if my species starts to evolve, why would the human think we are going to be like them? What if we are better?

It has been two weeks since the incident and she hasn’t said a word to me. I ignored her too the first five days, but then it became hard not to miss her. She has been spending time with Soona and her friends, Anaya is rarely with her, and he tells me Mae almost never says anything relevant to him. I guess she knows that the ape will come to me with all the details.

I encounter Soona a week after, trying to get information about Mae. She looked disappointed when she found out that all I wanted was to talk about the human, she even called me “asshole”, I guess she heard it from the girl.

“Why wont you… tell me… what you said to her?” Anaya asked me one night, we were watching the stars and eating peaches.

“I told you I didn’t say anything” I was kind of embarrassed to tell my friend about my whole speech about evolution, and I was also ashamed for making her cry.

By the third week I decided I couldn’t take it anymore and showed up to Mae´s door at noon. I didn’t have a plan nor a speech, so I just froze when I saw her opening the door. When Mae first arrived at the village, after almost being starved to death in the bunker, she had a dirty piece of clothing that covered only her butt and left her legs visible, in the top part of her body she wore a black thing that hang loose and had shoes on her feet. Now, her legs were completely covered, and her feet were bear.

“Your hair” I said without thinking. The human looked at me with a straight face and started to close the door “Wait, no, Mae. I need to talk to you”

in terms of the Trees creating the Heroes, creating and birthing are two different things. initially, the Tree creates the Hero BUT they aren't immediately taken out of the Tree– instead, theyre in a kitten-like state for like a week and then they lose that state afterwards. and a week after that they are FINALLY taken out of the Tree by their caretaker

Since I can't contain my thoughts here's all the "Mirage" logicistics. Basically they either swap or enhance ones personality, heres a few examples:

Mirage Lenore is way more looney and impulsive, with a practically nonexistant off switch having to be dragged off screaming before she sets anything on fire, her group mainly sticks with her for fear of their own lives and she and Annabel are ALLOWED TO BE GAY!!! HOORAY!!! They still have the pretend to hate each other thing but thats mainly due to Annabel's paranoia

Mirage Duke is a shit magician who constantly looses parts of his tricks, he's also like WAYYY too overdramatic, the kinda mf to fall over if you steal his chip,

Mirage Pluto is if you took a wet cat and made him a golden retriever. He's very hyperactive, social, easily distracted. Mf is like "wanna hear abt my hyperfixations?!" Talks and doesn't wait for an answer a neat thing i did with some characters Mirage's is i inverted stuff abt them like hair, emblems, all that. He still thinks M! Duke's magic is cool

Mirage Berenice is a feral little creature, constantly biting or nibbling on things (mainly Eulalies arm, or her own. I dont think chewlery exists in the victorian era). She's also the queen of being unhinged, in spectre form shes somewhat normal at least. For the most part she's in her own world

Mirage Eulalie is the mean autistic, less into creepy/old things n thinks their lame and/or weird. She's the one dragging Berenice around and keeping the gang from falling apart. Her and M! Morella really out here sharing the only group braincell, shes also blunt as fuck and wont hesitate to tell you you look bad. I wanted to lean more into the japanese part of her character so she just kinda- speaks more of it now (lol idk how else to explain it)

Mirage Morella, like M! Eulalie, is a mean autistic. She's less emotional, and more of "I dont give a damn just get me out of here.", sticks with whatever group she's feelin that day tbh. Won't tell you you look bad, will probably just call you a dumbass and leave

Mirage Annabel is kinda like regular Annabel but without the "Life is like chess" mentality. So more jumpy, kinda a walking talking mental breakdown waiting to happen. Excess paranoia and increase of hallucinations cus pookie and I decided we aren't giving her a break

Mirage Prospero is no longer fancy and polite, he is sopping wet germaphobic wet cat. He will go through great lengths to avoid disease, faints around blood and puke, screams at the sight of his own rats (or just rats/bugs in general), actively raising his and Annabel's blood pressure with how scardy he is.

Mirage Montresor is imo the funniest one cuz he's just a polite little gentleman, doin all the chivalry shit like opening doors, pushing chairs in and out, saying his pleases/thank yous/welcomes, he's even calling everyone "Sir" and "Ma'am". He's still an asshole, but you really gotta provoke him to see that

Tbh, I didn't think much abt Mirage Will since Will to me is kinda just there as Monty's lackey who gets kicked around. SO he's less of a pushover, more demanding, up and refuses what people tell him, bullies M! Monty, he tried bullying M! Ada and M! Morella but bro got his ass kicked. On top of it, he's unfortunately more sexist and stubborn. No more people pleasing ig 🤷‍♀️

Finally, Mirage Ada. What I wanted to do for her is have her be an absolute girlboss who is always serving 100% of the time. Everything she does is her choice and for her and her friends, and and and shes Aroace too, pretty chill when she has to reject someone just like:
