“S–Sorry,” you muttered, staring at the cover of a porn mag on his crumpled comforter. The apprehension in your stomach quitched. He groaned beside you. Flopped down with his back against the headboard of his bed.

“And stop fucking apologizing,” he said, tugging at the back of your shirt. You relented and scooted yourself back to sit beside him. 

You knew the “sorry”’s were getting repetitive at this point. You’d squeaked one when you’d tripped over an empty pizza box on the way to his bed and caught yourself against him. You’d murmured another when you’d miscalculated which way to tilt your head when he’d first gone in for a kiss, causing the tips of your noses to bump against each other. 

“I’m—” Your sentence got cut off by him reaching over to fondle one of your breasts. The warmth of his calloused palm seeped through your shirt and bra. Your nipple, which had perked up to attention the second his mouth had come down on yours a few minutes earlier, rolled beneath his hand. You made a whimpering sound in the back of your throat before refinding the strength to breathe out: “I–I’m just kinda nervous is all.”

“Nervous? Trevor didn’t catch onto your lie, thankfully. 

The hand on your thigh nudged upwards, leveraging your legs apart by a few inches. 

“Don’t be nervous,” he cooed against the side of your head. His breath, malty with the half dozen beers he’d drank at the Yellow Jack while trying to woo you, curled warm against the shell of your ear. “Just relax… Relax and let Uncle T take care of ya.”

The nickname made your stomach roll over itself. In a bad way or a good way, you couldn’t be sure. Maybe both. What you were sure of, was that the moment Trevor finished with undoing the zipper of your jeans, he would find a pair of panties that’d already been soaked through with excitement. 

A rolling growl came out of him when he made this little discovery. 

“Nervous but wet as hell,” he said, clearly proud of himself for eliciting this reaction. 

He squeezed your sex, testing the plushness of the area. The wetness spread underneath the cotton of your panties. You let out an airy moan. 

With one hand still shoved down your pants, he moved to tug at the neckline of your shirt with his other.

You felt a bit embarrassed that he’d caught on to your need for validation, but overwhelmingly glad that he was freely giving it.  “The, ah, ancient peoples… Greeks or Romans or whatever… They used to make statues of Venus—y’know, the goddess of fucking—with your type of figure.”

You glanced up at him. “Really?”

“They sure as shit did. Know why? ‘Cuz they had good taste. They knew that the more a woman has, the more there is to love.” He grabbed at your tits again, this time manhandling as much as he could with just one hand. “I mean—look at these puppies! And you’re so fucking soft… All over. Christ. I could just eat you right up, sugar.”

You sucked your bottom lip into your mouth, feeling your cheeks warm. Nobody had ever complimented you like this before. It felt good. It felt genuine.

It didn’t feel quite good enough to quell your shyness, though.

You bowed your head again and watched your hands worry at the hem of your shirt. Trevor let out a harsh sigh as you retreated back into yourself.

Suddenly, he let go of you and clambered out of bed. You looked up and watched as he stumbled over the same pizza box you had earlier, which made you giggle a bit. The giggle stopped when he reached for the fly of his jeans the second he was on his feet and, in one hard yank, pulled them and his briefs down. Your head snapped back to the familiar sight of your own lap. There was a moment of clothing rustling as he stripped himself.

“Look at me,” he said firmly once he was finished.

By the sound of his voice, you expected to see another glare pinching his features when you followed his command. But he was actually smirking. You tried to keep your eyes pinned to his, but they were far too intense and you were far too flustered. IN REGARDS TO AKESUMI i think my latest 2 comics describe how i feel abt them pretty well!!! link 1 and link 2. actually i think akesumi's friendship is a great way for me to explore how i see/portray/feel about sumire, because i see them as way more similar than the game pays attention to. they're both stuck in their ways: sumire in her cowardice, hiding from the incident and refusing to move on, and akechi entrenched in his own traumas and feeling like he doesn't deserve more than that. their self-hatred manifests in two opposite ways but its very similar at the core. they both like. have no fucking clue what they're doing in terms of handling their pasts so that's why i think them working together to get around their own respective traumas is so fascinating: akechi is terrible at it, pushing sumire too far, but at the same time that perspective is something that she needs. meanwhile, her sensitive and observant personality shows akechi that like, you can have This too: a soft, good love. to have someone care about you unconditionally, so gently. you deserve that, too. yeah i can explode my head off now

my thing about izaya is that he's so strange and weird and i love that so much. i didn't want to ramble too much in the notes of that poor person's post but i find the way he speaks and the words he chooses so interesting so let me ramble a little bit. this may or may not even be coherent so bear with me here im just going to speak my thoughts.

so i have volume 9 of the novel in both english and japanese. i only have two novels in japanese and that is this one and yuuyake wo. so i'm pretty crazy about this izaya speech analysis shit. anyways i was rereading thru the jp ver the other day just to compare it to the eng and i kinda realized that like.

a lot of people you can separate their speech in either formal and informal speech right? someone like shizuo speaks really informally and uses a lot of rough, dragged-out versions of words and stuff (しゃーねえ vs しょうがない) and then someone like shinra who speaks in a ton of yojijukugo and generally sounds like a nerd emoji gijinka.

izaya on the other hand rly... doesn't fit in either? i mean sure he sounds like another nerd emoji gijinka but it's kinda different. it's not so much the words he speaks but rather the intonation and his tone...

and he has his moments where he speaks pretty seriously and whatnot of course, but in general he just... doesn't sound very human when he speaks? i don't know if that's a conscious effort or not. is it his attempts at distancing himself from his own individual humanity? or is it just because he's a weird guy? i dunno. but it's interesting nonetheless.

one thing i will note though is that despite his somewhat inhuman speech patterns, it's also pretty...dramatic? to the extent where it's really exaggerated but also very cute and charming. (this part is important.)

i think a lot of what makes izaya's speech so weirdly inhuman is because he doesn't really use a lot of slang or similar lingo that people his age would typically use. i know mikado said in the novels that he doesn't really try to fit in with his age group's fashion sense either so it makes sense but still. he's like an old hag it's so funny. and it's because of that that when he says stuff like 'i don't get all hot and heavy over headless women' or whatever he said to celty it's really amusing to me because like... why is the strange man saying this?💀

another example i kinda giggled about on my twitter when i read it it's not even crazy and i sound corny and cheesy and stupid but theres this scene in vol 9 where izaya messages celty for business and hold on let me just put it as a quote.

he sounds so old saying 'video game' like 😭 idk it's just funny cause he barely even knows anything abt games like bro knows nothing im crying

in the jp hes like 「…ゲーム中なのかい？」 and then when celty tries to explain herself he says 「何を言ってるのか、良く解らないんだけど」 and im rly bad at tling parts of sentences and stuff but just know that the way he words it makes it sound like this gif to me
