They exchanged their dog tags because they're cuties
Ghost isn't sure if he prefers Johnny Riley or Simon MacTavish, though, he'd probably doodle both and draw little hearts around it as he's pondering the question
Price : okay, you've been sighing and staring at nothing more than usual, what's up
Ghost : if you had a boyfriend, or girlfriend, or whatever, and they're probably thinking about getting married, would they take your name or would you take theirs ?
Price :
Ghost : cause i have this friend, and it's happening to him right now and he's getting a little overwhelmed so he asked me but i don't know so i'm asking you
Price : *sigh* right, a friend, so you should probably tell him to ask his boyfriend about what he thinks, first off, and to consider just putting a hyphen between both names, and also chilling the fuck out because you just pulled your heads out of your arses and started dating two weeks ago
Ghost :
Price : *tired dad stare*
Ghost : so, what sounds better, Riley-MacTavish or MacTavish-Riley ?
#ghostsoap#soapghost#mw2#simon ghost riley#john soap mactavish#this is all a joke btw#i think ghost would be absolutely terrified of getting married and also of getting in any kind of serious relationship#because he's scared he's gonna be a terrible partner and also he has abandonment issues so he prefers not to get too close to people#but soap knowing all that and still staying and wanting him and always being his usual ball of sunshine#eventually makes him want to take that risk because maybe the possible future heartbreak is worth it if he gets to hold soap in his arms#also the first option sounds better

Found this while going through my fanfic files, and i absolutely had to share.
Danny: i want in
Red robin: …what?
Danny: your bat family. I want in.
Red robin, blinking in surprise: i dont know what you think you know about my associates, but we're not-
Danny: dont be obtuse. I know youre the smart one. And i also know that your all one big relatively happy family. I want in.
Red robin: …why?
Danny: because you guys are the first people ive found that are wealthy, intelligent and powerful enough to take on my fruitloop godfather and win AND are decent enough human beings that i can be assured that when all is said and done, my well-being will remain a top priority.
Orphan, appearing out of nowhere: new brother!
Danny: *stares in shock*
Danny: *sudden uncanny grin* well that's one convinced. How do i win over the rest?
Orphan: no need. New brother!
Red robin: *pointed glance of betrayal* fine. Who is your godfather?
Danny: vlad masters. He's a fruitloop.
Red robin: for real? B's been investigating him for years! Tell me everything! *genuinely excited for a new lead*
Danny: well, he's tried to murder my dad and marry my mom, gained his wealth illegally, committed voting fraud to become the mayor of my hometown, has a secret underground lab where he does unethical experiments, and he's abducted me more than a dozen times even before my parents disowned me to make me his evil apprentice or whatever. Now that im homeless, he's literally out to get me. Oh! And he's cloned me too! She's cool though, we're buddies now.
Batman, who just arrived but heard everything over comms: hn. (Translation: who are you?)
Danny: my name is Danny. No last name anymore, but im hoping itll soon be Wayne! *winking suggestively*
Batman: hn? (how much do you know?)
Danny: enough to know that youre a much better alternative to vlad.
Batman: …hn (i dont know anything about you. What if youre a spy for vlad?)
Danny, giving his salesman pitch: i was a teen vigilante in amity park before i had to run away from home for my own safety. Vlad is one of my rogues. I know how to fight and defend myself, how to minimize collateral damage in a fight, and ive gotten really good and escaping kidnapping attempts. Ive also managed to reform and/or make allies out of approximately half of my rogues and can talk down about 30% of all rogue confrontations before they turn into a messy fight. The other things i can bring to the table are: one, i can teach all of you guys proper liminality self care; two, i can probably minimize and possibly cure red hood's anger issues; three, i can get along with stabby robin because i consider fighting a friendly social interaction - he can even stab me and i wont be injured by it; four, i can be your go-to guy for supernatural cases so you no longer have to deal with that sad trenchcoat man; five-
Red robin: *blurting* youre hired.
Batman: hn (i am deeply concerned)
Danny: if youre concerned now, wait until i tell you about the anti ecto control act
Nightwing, who showed up in the middle of the sales pitch: ive never seen anyone crack B's grunt language so quickly
Danny: grunt language? He's just using ghost speak - which will be covered by the liminality self care lessons
Robin, who arrived with batman: what is a liminal?
Danny: all of you, of course! Otherwise you wouldnt need to learn about it, obviously
Robin: and why would we trust you?
Danny: did i mention i have a pet ghost dog?
Robin: …you drive a hard bargain
Danny, fist pumping: yes! That's three!
Nightwing: four, you got me when you could understand B's grunting
Red Hood, arrived with nightwing: five, assuming you arent lying about the pit rage
Danny, hand to his chest: i would never!
Orphan: honesty. Earnest. New brother.
Oracle, over comms: six. The anti ecto acts are legit and im terrified for his safety, assuming he's phantom, who is the vigilante of amity park
Spoiler, arrived with orphan: seven, as long as youre down for a few pranks
Batman: hn (ive been outvoted)
Batman: hnn (i dont wanna hear any jokes about adoption habits when you all forced my hand)
Batman: hn (that said)
Batman: welcome to the family
Duke, the next day: man, i miss out on everything exciting.
Duke, blinded by danny: and who the fuck told bruce he could adopt the fucking sun?!

Anon McGee with an actual request this time [once again not pertaining to any actual game things, unfortunately, but I'm working on it LMAO. Twisting Wonderland will not be forgotten about, I prommy]
Starting to think about different kinds of mythologies and I've absolutely fallen in love with the idea of Selkies! And as a result, it only came naturally that the thought would come up of the Octavinelle trio with a reader who's a selkie!
For additional context on that if needed [both for yourself and for other people reading this], Selkies come from Celtic Folklore and are, watered down [haha], people who wear sealskins in order to turn into seals. Generally, I think they're described as being super kind and gentle, as opposed to other creatures of mythology you often hear of.
Thinking mostly of it being something that got them put in Octavinelle because it was assumed they'd fit in better there than anywhere else in NRC. Specifically I'm thinking of the reader being a Monk Seal Selkie because those seals tend to live in warmer, tropical climates and that fits in pretty well with Azul and the Tweel's species as well, making the Octa-Dorms a pretty comfortable place for something like that. I'm also thinking that this wasn't exactly something that the reader tried to keep hidden, but it also isn't exactly spoken of super often until the reader potentially loses the seal skin and it traps them to the confines of the land [which doesn't sound all that bad in THIS situation as long as it's quickly resolved, but many Selkie stories focus on the idea of losing the skin and as a result of that, their identity and freedom they had before].
Something something, it turns out someone took it or something, probably not even for malicious reasons, just because they were curious about it, or maybe they were snooping and accidentally got something on it and were trying to discreetly clean it and return it. Whatever works, really, reader is panicked, maybe gets to show off the seal a bit after the fact, something fun and chill like that.
Also, entirely unrelated to that, but I offer you my playlist of Ghost songs that is entirely curated to my tastes, but I feel like it's a good way to ease yourself into it more [most definitely not attempting to indoctrinate you]
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2LWceY9cJfeLZOayhbuxbm?si=Px81gThlRQmFWHFRvQEQlg
AHHHH I LOVE SELKIES SO MUCH !!!! I remember first reading the stories about them and thinking "omg that would make for SUCH a good yandere plot- with someone who steals their coat so they can't go home, and then the stealer is all like 'lol sucks you can't leave now let's get married'", does that make any sense?? I dunno, I'm very tired right now!
And YIPPEE, I'm getting indoctrinated, I'd always hoped it would happen to me eventually! I'm gonna be listening to that playlist while writing this XD

Octavinelle was known for being a generally quiet and calm dorm. Even the area in which the Mostro Lounge was is a fairly chill area, since there were very strict rules about fighting. The most that happened was an occasional yelp of terror as Floyd managed to corner one of his dorm members. Other than that, it was smooth sailing.
Except for today.
Almost everyone got woken up by a panicked, terrified screech.
It had ended almost as soon as it began, so most students chalked it up to be some sort of weird half-asleep dream- the others who believed it to be real sat up in their beds....before going right back to sleep of continuing on with their daily routine. After all, they didn't have to worry about anything dangerous happening with Azul and the Twins to safeguard the place.
And, speaking of the devils, the trio began their march through the halls, knocking and banging on every door to find the source of the mysterious sound.
When they got to your room, they found that although the door was unlocked, you never came to answer it.
"Maybe they're out in the bathrooms," suggested Floyd, already tired of this tedious task.
"Doubtful," remarked Jade under his breath "We checked there first, did we not? Surely we would have seen them heading to the bathrooms on our search, as well."
"Hush, you fools!" Azul hissed, leaning his head closer to the door, his eyes squinting as if that could help him hear better. "They're in here. I can hear them....crying, I think?"
"Oh, dear, well, if they're crying, we should allow them some time to-" Jade started, clamping his mouth shut as Floyd brought his leg up and kicked the door as hard as he could, flinging the piece of wood off of its hinges.
"KNOCK, KNOCK, SELKIE" He said with a proud grin, hands stuffed in his pockets casually.
"Dear Sevens, Floyd, I hope you know that's coming out of your paycheck," Azul looked disgusted as he viewed the once-beautiful white wood door splintered into two pieces, laying on the floor.
He focused his attention on the inside of your room, his body relaxing when he saw that there was no imminent danger, but then he winced when he saw you sitting on the floor in front of your closet, sobbing.
"Oops, didn't know you liked that door that much," Floyd said in an attempt to lighten the situation. You sniffled and tried to stop your crying, wiping your eyes as you looked up.
"Oh fu- geez, sorry, guys, I didn't think-" You stopped yourself, rubbing your eyes one last time before taking a shuddery breath "I'm sorry for screaming, I didn't mean- I didn't mean to...."
"Dear me, what's got you in such a sorry state?" Jade asked, placing a hand on his chin thoughtfully "We assumed the worst had happened. Octavinelle is not a place where one may use their outside voices, as you are well aware."
You glanced back into your closet again, the action making you want to start sobbing again "I lost it- no, someone took it....my coat."
"Coat's ain't that expensive, jus' get you another one, Selkie," Floyd shrugged, figuring the whole issue was solved.
Azul shook his head, going through the list of students in his mind's eye. He had made it a point to memorize the basic facts of all the members of his dorm, of course. It gave him the high ground in any situations, knowing of their weaknesses in academics, or background, or anything of the sort. He knew who YN was. "Wrong type of coat, Floyd. It's not one you can just purchase at Sam's store on campus."
"Ah, yes, they mean..." Jade made a motion with his hands to mimic putting on a coat, then swimming. It was a rather...silly pose to do, which made you chuckle a bit, despite the situation. Perhaps he had meant to do that.
"Exactly. Their coat. The one that allows them to change forms." Azul let out a small sigh, bordering on frustration "Sevens, I wish it were so easy for us, imagine not having to drink that awful bitter potion every day to retain legs....it could be just as easy as taking off a jacket, but no-" he cleared his throat, stopping himself "Apologies, YN. So I assume the missing 'coat' was your reason for such a disorderly cry not too long ago?"
You nodded your head shamefully "Yes...I know I shouldn't have screamed, but with all the stories I heard growing up of humans taking our coats so we lose that part of ourselves...maybe I overreacted."
"You did," agreed Azul, not bothering to sugarcoat it "It's ridiculous for you to assume the worst in such a situation, and as a result, bother the rest of your dorm members. Besides, if you would have bothered to read the memo I posted in the wall just outside of the bathrooms, you would have seen that today is the day that the school's ghost-workers come gather our clothes to be washed and pressed- paid for entirely out of my pocket, might I add, as a reward for the dorm's excellent exam grades." He pushed his glasses up, rolling his eyes "You would have also seen that I made a footnote stating that for any clothes you do not wish to be taken, to lay them out on the foot of your bed, lightly sprinkled with salt."
Floyd made a retching sound in the corner of your room. "Yech, salty clothes."
You felt a little better knowing that your coat wasn't stolen, but the embarrassment of being caught red-handed at ignoring the Housewarden's memo made your face turn red, itself. "...Oh."
"Oh is right!" Azul said loudly "Now pick yourself off the ground and compose yourself. I'll send Jade to retrieve your coat before the Ghosts start their washing. I would send Floyd, but..." glancing over at the Eel-mer, who was busy entertaining himself by seeing if he could fit underneath your bed, Azul let out an aggravated noise "I assume you wouldn't want him touching such a precious item."
"No, I- I wouldn't," You said "Thank you, Housewarden Ashengrotto."
"You can thank me by cleaning out the pool once you have your coat back- I assume that being in your natural form would help you better reach the hard-to-get crevices under the water," And there was his angle. So much for him helping you out of the kindness of his heart.
You tried to manage a grateful smile nonetheless "The indoor or outdoor pool?" you asked. There was a very clear difference between the two and which one you would prefer to clean. The indoor one was a basic pool, treated with natural products so that any of the water-lovers in the dorm or merfolk could enjoy a nice swim without getting chlorine in their eyes, The outdoor one was on the back-end of the dorm, and was made up of legitimate water. While the entrance to the Octavinelle's pocket dimension made it appear as if the guest was swimming underwater and yet could still breath, the back was as close to the real ocean as one could get. The larger mer-creatures enjoyed swimming there, as well as any homesick students (who could breath underwater, of course). It had magically-altered coral and reef spaces, tons of rocks, and lots and lots of crevices...
You felt the bottom of your stomach dropped when Azul flashed his iconic business smile
"The Outdoor one, of course," He stated.
----
This was a terrible job. It was so unrewarding to try and scrape off what barnacles there were sticking to rocks- mainly because the reef was entirely magicked up and the barnacles were consciously made a part of it! And also because, well, barnacles were natural in the ocean! Gahhhhh, curse you, Azul!
Although, now that you had time to think about it, maybe giving you such a meaningless task was Azul's plan to make you learn your lesson for making him go door-to-door searching for an emergency. That mean-spirited octopus...
"Ooooooh, Selkie's doing such a greeeeeat job!" A voice chirped from behind you. As you whirled around to see who it was, a phosphorescent light blinded you for a moment before you could see Floyd in his eel form.
Pushing down the prey instinct to run away, you forced yourself to turn around, continuing with your tasks. Floyd still lurked behind you, however, since the little lights on his body provided a faint glow.
"Can I help you with something?" You asked, your voice a mixture of grunts and barks in your current form.
Floyd had no trouble interpreting your words, and responded with chirps and clicks of his own eel tongue "Nope! Just bored!"
"Well, maybe you could help me out some."
"Hah! Not a chance, Selkie! Besides, everybody knows that those barnacles are spelled to grow back within ten minutes of being removed," Floyd grinned at you, swimming up and over you so that his head was in front of you, upside down, his sharp teeth flashing.
You frowned, looking back at the small section of barnacles you had just finished scraping.
They were all back in place. It looked like you hadn't even touched them.
You yelled out a few curses, throwing the blade in your hand onto the floor. It didn't feel as good as it did on land, though, since the water only made it gently float down.
"Sooooooo, you wanna ditch the boring scrapey-scraping and go for a swim?" the eel asked, mischief in his eyes already. Although, when did that look ever leave?
You pondered it for a moment before sighing. What else did you have to lose? This was a meaningless task anyway, like he said.
"Sure, why not?"

I could talk about Hetty and her death for hours. I could. And I have. And I will. Hetty rant under the cut if you please DFSDGSFDDS
I honestly don't even know where to begin with this. I have so much to say about Hetty to the point that I woke up at 4a.m today because I couldn't stop thinking about her.
Hetty is an absolutely magnificent character. First off- She is a Victorian Woman. Women back then wernt treated like people. They were thrown around, used and abused, before being thrown away. Hetty was forced into a marriage (with her cousin, none the less) and was forced to be the perfect high-class image her entire life.
She was probably forced into having Thomas, but even though all that, she cares about him. She killed herself to try and secure him a safe future. She thinks Thomas must hate her- resent her for what she did to herself and how she treated him- but you can tell the opposite is true. Even after Hetty is long gone, Thomas still went to her for advice. He asked her if he should marry a lady he was seeing, and he didn't know, but Hetty was there and she cared.
Hetty had all these windows put up around her for all her life. Windows specifically because you can see her, but you can't touch. You can admire, but you can't love. You can see the display version of her that was put out to see, but you never get to see the Real Henrietta Woodstone.
Until Hetty died, and met the Ghosts. Slowly, one by one, they broke down these windows and Hetty was finally able to become herself. She allowed herself to enjoy the afterlife- to indulge in everyday things like TV, smelling foods, sex, jokes and laughing, and so much more that she wasn't ever allowed to do when she was alive.
She allowed herself to love and to be loved.
She made connections with the ghosts, she had a best friend, she had arguments and betrayals, she allowed herself to feel real love for Trevor. She did this all because she knew she had nothing to fear, that no one would be able to come back and hurt her.
But then Elias came back. Actually, it turns out he had been there the entire time. Waiting and listening the entire time, underneath the very house that Hetty was haunting. Though all the years she felt safe and at home, her terrible husband was there waiting the entire time.
They were able to get rid of him, but I can only imagine how terrified Hetty must've still felt. All this time that she felt safe, he was there.
But still, she allowed herself to live, even after this. To change and grow, even though she is a hundred and fifty years old. We have watched her experience new things, we have seen her get a chance to live again through the Arondakers and their BnB.
Then, Flower got sucked off. Or so they thought, anyways. The house wasn't the same without her, whether they liked it or not- they were incomplete. Until they found out Flower had been down a well this whole time.
Desperate to get Flower out and back to the group, Hetty revealed her deepest darkest secret. Her death- suicide. She killed herself to try and save family, but then she finally let the secret of her death out to do the same thing. She saved family.
No one knew, either. Pete knew they had a telephone, Hetty even talked to him about it. When Hetty told him about her phone, all along, she had those cords tight on her neck underneath that dress. And no one knew.
Her and Trevor were having sex for MONTHS, and they probably will again someday soon. But still, he had no idea. Not once did he see those marks or that cord, not once did he ever ask any questions.
I imagine that Hetty was glad. Glad that her shameful secret could hide safe under her collar. But I think she was also hurt. Hurt that a man she has spent countless hours with doesn't realize that there is a secret under there. She works hard to hide it- the fake story made up about her Morphine induced death, so Trevor would truthfully no reason to question it- but Hetty is only human.
She feels real sorrow and real pain, but she still hides some of it. When she pulled down that collar, you can see that she is looking at Isaac. Isaac watched her grow up and pass him in age, Isaac knew her from when she was just born, Isaac is her best friend.
She looks away and looks at the ground, you can see the fear in her face. Fear that no one will treat her thr same anymore, fear that all she will be shown is pitty and apprehension. But that's not what happens. They don't pitty her, but they try to help her. She is their friend, and they don't care how she died a hundred years ago, all they care about is who she is now and if she is okay.

Man, you know what hit me while watching For the Future, and I didn’t say anything about it at the time but it’s been circulating in my head since then?
Amity saying to Boscha “This is a bit much, even for you!”, in comparison to her father a few episodes back saying “this is too much— even for you.” The similarity in structure, the difference in delivery, you know.
And I keep thinking about the theory that Alador and Odalia were pushed to marry by their parents, and about how Amity was pushed to be friends with Boscha, and imagining a bad future where Luz didn’t show up and they ended up in a similar position.
It’s not going to be that bad, right? Sure, Amity never really *liked* Boscha, but you don’t have to like someone to be their friend, you just have to be around them, do things with them, listen when they talk. Having a wife will be like that, right? She’ll just… do the things she’s supposed to do, and live alongside her. It’ll be fine.
The wedding is just another formal event her parents throw, with the complication of Boscha’s parents being part of it too, and constantly trying to one-up hers. In her final act of rebellion, Amity sends Willow an invitation. She doesn’t come. Amity closes a door.
Odalia lightens up on urging Amity to join the Emperor’s Coven when she realizes that as the only one of their kids who follows in Alador’s footsteps magic-wise, it’d be better for her to train to take over the factory someday. She can’t say she exactly enjoys working under her father, since he only ever talks about work, and not even with the spark of interest in his eyes she remembers him having when she was little. Her mother spends most of her time sniping at her mothers-in-law and asking when grandkids are coming, though, and the twins are gadding about through high society and making fun of her whenever they can, so he’s kind of the family member she’s closest to by default.
Things don’t really go well. Boscha thinks the way their mothers constantly fight is hilarious, and she definitely enjoys the status that comes along with the Blight name, but she definitely doesn’t love the way her new in-laws expect her to wind potions skills into the family business or else just stay out of the way. She wants to win trophies, not be one. She’s also not stupid, and she knows Amity doesn’t love her— knew since long before the wedding, but she hoped that would change over time, and as it continues not to she’s building up an intense resentment. They were meant for each other, why can’t Amity see it? She’s being the queen of Bonesborough society, they’re on top together just like it was in high school only better, but Amity still doesn’t love her, and it’s not fair.
Some years on, they have a daughter. She’s the absolute light of Amity’s life, but by the time she’s toddling Boscha is already starting to take out some of her resentment on her. She pushes her too hard, she makes fun of the way she garbles words. The baby’s just being a baby, and Amity tries to get Boscha to lighten up, but Boscha says she’s just having fun and being a mom, which Amity isn’t because she’s working all day, and she doesn’t have a comeback for that.
Amity’s trying to calm Boscha down, taking her to matches when she has a rare night off and they can get a sitter, but it just prickles at her more— she wants to be on the field, not watching; she wants to be on a real date with her wife, not an awkward attempt at appeasement.
It’s all eating away at Amity. She looks into her daughter’s three beautiful gold eyes and she’s terrified her little girl will feel like this, someday.
She’s sleepwalking through her days, she feels like one of her mother’s ghosts. She’s working, because it’s the only thing she really understands anymore. She’s elbow-deep in the beta design for the 3.6, and she nearly jumps out of her skin when her father puts a hand on her shoulder.
He has a bottle of hard apple blood. They go sit on the roof, and they talk.
She can’t say she sees a way through to happiness, but at least she’s not alone. That’s something, isn’t it?

Dude a Reddie Hook au would be so fucking good. I know a Peter Pan au already exists but picture this: Many years ago a baby so terrified of his smothering anxious mother it rolls away to never land and becomes Peter pan.
Years later, thst baby is now a worried, constantly terrified 40 year old Eddie Kaspbrak.
He's just doing his normal risk analyst job, freaking out over statistics, and being absolutely stressed over his marriage with Myra.
On the night of his 40th birthday he gets a special visitor and discovers he's actually THE peter pan from the famous stories, having grown up to be constantly worried about everythung and terrified for the future due to living in the real world and finally growing older.
Richie is his Tink, a spitfire little fairy who's always had a thing for Eddie and is the one to finally bring him back. He's charming, reckless, silly, incredibly jealous when it comes to Eddie, and most curious of all, has also aged, but never really matured.
When Eddie left Neverland and grew older, Richie loved him so much he wanted to grow along side him, so he began to age himself as opposed to other fairies who are immortal and young forver, however Richie never understood all that "growing up" entails. His mind is still that silly child in a big kids body.
When they first meet again after 30 something odd years, Richie gets quite a kick out of scaring the shit out of Eddie, he cracks jokes about him being a delusion brought on by alcohol or prescription meds, He tells him he's the ghost of a person he killed in a drunk driving accident, and when Eddie naturally says "i don't believe in fairies" Richie tells him everytime some one says they don't believe in fairies a fairy dies... immediately followed by him doing an elaborate death scene.
Once over the intial terror of it all, they start to do the usual hook shit like fight the famed Bowers pirates, go on an adventure to conquer the great evil Pennywise, hang out in their underground club house with the rest of their old friends, and just act like silly kids, but underneath all of that is the horrible knowledge that Eddie has grown up and Richie hasn't, and neither one will ever truly understand each other now.
Myra's basically his Wendy, while she's not perfect, heck, Eddie's not even attracted to her, they still care about each other and have stuck together through the trials and tribulations of adulthood. Just as Richie and Eddie were a team once, Myra and Eddie are now, just a different kind of team. A realistic team. He cares for her like the mother he never had, and Myra cares for him like a protective brother.
Even bringing Eddie back to never land will never change the fact that at the end of the day... he's too old for fairytales now.
Eddie has a choice though, abandon the cushy life he's built for himself to live in a diluted fantasy world with his soul mate, or accept all the pain that comes with reality, like marrying some one for convenience instead of true love, if it means he can feel real and truly alive.
I think possibly the best outcome here would be for Eddie to decide he wants to still grow up and live with reality, but he realizes being with Myra will never truly make either of them happy, so they decide to have a very supportive mutual divorce.
Richie, having being changed by Eddie coming back , decides to FINALLY mature and decides to leave never land too.
Eddie has no clue about this though until a really reckless and really familiar client comes into his work, claming he has some "risks that need analyzing".

After Sundown (2023)
Synopsis:
Saengrawee has spent his life in the temple with Luang Lung Chanthakorn. When he turns 21, Parit – an old friend of the monk – comes to take him away, to live in Phra Nahkon with Parit’s family. As he settles in the mansion, Rawee starts getting plagued with nightmares, and visions of a ghost. Parit’s grandson, Praphloeng, comes back to Thailand at his parents’ demand. They worry about a prophecy who warns that if Phloeng does not bind his life to a soulmate by the time he turns 25, his life will be in grave danger. Said soulmate can’t be from Phra Nahkon, nor be a woman (according to mdl). Luckily, Rawee fits the bill, and despite their mutual dislike, the two men accept the ceremony. But while they learn to live with each other, and Phloeng’s presence is able to soothe Rawee’s nightmares, the ghost’s apparent grudge against Rawee only seems to deepen …
this shot is just too pretty
Non-spoilery review:
It was not a very good movie, all in all. I think it worked with a lot of ideas that, while not necessarily groundbreaking, were good enough to make a nice romance and an interesting horror story. The reluctant soulmates/fake marriage tropes are beloved for a reason, and can make for a compelling journey. The newcomer in the house mysteriously targeted by a ghost that seems to know him is also pretty classic, and when used well can be ground for a good, creepy mystery. The problem here is that imo, the execution was sub-par.
To begin with, the horror is not well integrated to the story. While I liked all the ghost scenes – tense and efficient, and in 720p at night the ghost freaked me the fuck out let me tell you – they were not well integrated into the story. Outside of those specific scenes, there is no sense of something terrifying happening to the main protagonist of the story, he doesn’t seem worried not curious about any of it, focused as he is on his romance.
And that’s where for me, it went from ‘not great’ to ‘not good’. Because with how much time is spent on the romantic parts of the story, I still can’t believe how little development happens. They are reluctant to even be in the same room a moment, and straight up acting like a married couple the next with absolutely nothing to justify this. Zee and NuNew share a lot of soft, romantic scenes, but they felt disconnected from each other, and because there is no showing of their feelings gradually changing those scenes, for me, lacked any emotional impact. That said, the two of them work well together, and the chemistry was chemistring alright when they were on screen. Still, with characters that don’t have a big personality and a scenario that has trouble holding itself together, there is only so much chemistry can do.
So yeah, for me After Sundown failed both as a horror and as a romance movie. I had no emotional investment in anything happening (which also made the reveal/conclusion at the end fall flat), the pacing was not good and actor performances alone (which were mostly good across the board) could not save this one.
Tl;dr: I gave this one 5/10. I would only recommend it if you really really really miss Zee and NuNew and just want to see them act cute with each other while not being bothered by the absence of actual story and the presence of a few good jump scares. Also if you just want to see Nammon wet and shirtless, just skip to 1:12:00 =3
Below the read more, I will go a little more into the reveal at the end, as well as a few pet peeves I got through the movie. It will be full of spoilers.
The reveal about the ghost:
I hated how we got nothing about the ghost during the whole movie except that she thought Rawee was someone else (the monk/his uncle) and wanted to kill him for it, and then 20 minutes before the end you get that huge, 10-minutes long info dumping flashback explaining who she is, what her relation to both the family and Rawee’s uncle is, how she died and why she is so vengeful. My first thought was ‘that’s a movie I would have liked to see’, followed by tons of ideas on how it could have been, you know, actually made part of the movie and not just stacked at the end like an after thought. 1 hour 20 minutes in, and you have no notion that there was a tragedy in that house, that Parit has A Mysterious Past regarding his sppuse, or that the ghost is actually linked to the family in any kind of way. It’s fine if you don’t want the protagonist to find out until the very end, but there should be stuffs to clue us, the audience, in, otherwise the reveal comes and you’re like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ okay I guess. Show us a picture of her in the house, maybe hidden away so we know Something Is Afoot, have some of those final flashbacks interwoven into Rawee’s nightmares (maybe make it so they’re misleading, showing her under a different light). Make the scene where Parit comes to the temple and meet the monk, after all those years, far, far more charged so I can feel that they’re not just old acquaintances but share something so much deeper. That they share both love and guilt. Just mention the fact that Phloeng's father never really knew his mother, that she died when he was small and I don't know, maybe they Don't Talk About Her Anymore. Give me something basically.
Also, at least Parit and Luang Lung Chanthakorn were aware of what was happening/who she was, and no one ever thought of, oh, I don’t know, do something about it? Warn the guys?? Why on earth did the monk say yes to sending Rawee back there knowing what the fuck happened in there and the responsibility he had in it? Come on.
Smaller things and Pet Peeves:
Ok this one is just for, like, random grievances I had with the movie.
First of all, Rawee’s lack of curiosity. You don’t have to make him an amateur detective, but that guy who grew up in a temple (so I assume at least a little spiritual) starts having nightmares and visions and doesn’t question it for a second? Doesn’t think oh, maybe there is something going on, maybe if I find out what the spirit wants and why, I could get rid of it? Nothing? I know my own curiosity is probably skewing my opinion but I wanted to shake him and beg him to ask even one goddamn question! Please!!
The “secondary couple”. Okay, so, this one ties up more to the romance aspect of things. We set up Pudson to be a sort of rival to Rawee, the spurned, jealous boy who hates the one who took Phloeng away, but there is never… I mean I’m pretty sure we never see him and Phloeng in a scene together, even, and all of this amount to nothing. Never actually hurts Rawee, never confronts him or tries to actually get Phloeng, this never leads to any tensions between Rawee and Phloeng… Then Kraiphop, the chauffeur, who is being so nice to Rawee and who makes Phloeng jealous once. Less of an actual rival to Phloeng, he’s presented more like a kind man who might help Phloeng realizes that he actually like Rawee. But the jealousy scene happens after we have seen them basically act chummy and nice to each other so it doesn’t work either. And then!! 35 minutes before the end, we get thrown a bone that oh maybe Kraiphop actually kinda likes Pudson, who may fall too, but that’s so brief, and then completely left hanging, I don’t see the point of having those characters. And I say that when it gives us Nammon shirtless and wet, so you can imagine…
Finally, and those are both the smallest and the most annoying of all (alright I might push it a little). That single voiceover we have maybe a third in?? There is that breakfast moment where Rawee’s voice says something along the line of ‘uh, since I sleep by Phloeng’s side the nightmares are gone and then there is never EVER another voiceover during the whole movie? Could you not have found another way to show not tell this? This irked me so bad lol
And then, MDL tells me it’s supposed to happen in 1961, and while the (very cool) car Phloeng rides seems to agree, the rest of the aesthetic screams Khun Chai to me (not just because it’s the same house I swear) which is 1942-something so like … two decades earlier. It’s not a lot but it added some confusion post viewing I guess.
#After Sundown#After Sundown (2023)#I don't know I don't think it's worth it basically#the trailer was far more exciting all things considered#it's frustrating because I want to enjoy something with Zee and NuNew but so far nothing has really worked for me#and I don't think it's them so much as the scripts they keep getting#anyway#mine

CBS Ghosts - Pilot - Ghosts on the Accident
OOOOH the reaction to Sam’s accident.
Please note, some of my commentary mentions things for throughout both seasons of the show so far.
Gifs and discussion below.
Okay - when did the ghosts gather? When Jay went running out of the room? When the ambulance showed up? When? Also, is Alberta missing in this scene? Is Sass? How ARE THEY NOT THERE? Like this is a BIG EVENT - ALL of the ghosts should be there.
ANYWHO.
It’s AMAZING how attached Hetty became in just a short while to Sam. She went from “ew I hope we’re not related” to “Eh, she’s nice” to “How dare you murder my kin - I love her” real fast.
I can’t believe she accuses Trevor of murder though - Trevor is NOT the murdering kind, Hetty. Literally, Alberta has buried bodies, Flower has chased down runners, Thor’s an actual murderer, and big spoilers here: your son (should be grandson) murdered one of your own and you’re accusing him without letting him explain???? RUDE.
Side note, Pete raised his hands to stop her and potentially step in.
I LOVE that Trevor defends himself. He looks SO YOUNG and AFRAID, but like he does with the ‘embarrassment’ conversation - he stands up for himself. He just wanted to beat the vase - he wasn’t thinking about Sam or anyone else getting hurt. He just wanted to win - and he would never hurt anyone.
This moment right here is when it became clear that Trevor was far too innocent (might not be the right word) and kind to really be the image he projects.
Poor kid.
Also, one thing to note - I think he’s afraid that he might’ve caused Sam to die young because he absolutely reliving his own death. As the most recently dead, there’s no way that he’s not flashing back to his death.
OMG that makes Hetty accusing him of murder & the situation where everyone’s looking at him like he’s guilty SO MUCH WORSE.
For some reason, I don’t have a gif of Pete saying that he’s right and defending him, but I know he did it and I’m SO GLAD that Trevor has back up because no one else was going to give him the benefit of the doubt and that just bites.
Trevor deserves better.
Okay - when did Jay change? Did he leave Sam to change?
Also, Thor - Husband guy = sad, of course he is! Sam’s nearly dead and might not make it! Why wouldn’t he be sad.
OOOOh - Isaac makes a good point - they fought over this dumbass rundown house and he would feel SO GUILTY if she didn’t make it. Like fighting over the house and then she dies - ouch. Anyway, I can’t imagine how terrified Jay is right now.
Side note - what did the ghosts in the shed/basement think about these events?
Poor Jay.
I love this tidbit about Flower. We learn right away that she cares deeply for Ira and that he was WITH her when she ‘wandered over to the property’.
Also, it’s so weird how connected she is to Ira only for her to later say ‘she’s got commitment issues, man’.
Side note, she tries to cover up Ira’s feelings for her with “also, bear.” So...
So, we learn something about Pete, too.
A) Married to Carol
B) Fought with her the day he died.
Pete looks so chill talking about the fight with Carol and just sitting there like... life lesson quietly.
OMG this Speech about how you never know when the last moment is going to be and how important it is. And it’s SO GOOD seeing Sam&Jay - particularly Jay as Jay goes through hell watching her go through all these things and just HOPING that she makes it through.
Side note - obviously, it’s the show so they wouldn’t hire Jay’s parents/sister for this one scene, but with knowing that ALL Bela did was send some flowers, I have to wonder if he went through this alone? Because they could’ve just mentioned his family supporting him in through this.
In fact, based off the off-hand remarks about the money, I assume that his parents were less than supportive - I really, really want more on that.
Poor Jay, though.
ANYWAY, that’ll come later.
OOOOOKAYYYYYY. So, Pete ruins a fantastic speech by remembering what the fight was about - which that’s one of the dumbest fights to have and not resolve.
This tells us ALOT about Carol/Pete - they fought about something small, didn’t bother to make up and then he died. He says he thinks that she did it to spite him because ‘she didn’t even like donut holes’, and we know she was cheating, but you have to wonder - how did they get there? How did a 16 year marriage get to that kind of place?
Also, knowing what we know about Pete ‘taking it’, I wonder if they both had like a score card? I wonder when things fell apart? I wonder if Carol was as hurt that Pete died after such a pointless fight? I really want to know.
OOOOOOH, Side note - is this the only time Hetty uses a shortened name?
LOL - Pete’s just like “Okay, calm down - anyway, life is precious” like he didn’t just spaz about donut hole fights.
LMAO - what an ending - Thor is like “Donut holes?” and Pete is just like “It’s - well, nothing...”
Still, this scene gave us good info on Trevor, Pete, and Flower - the youngest ghosts whose deaths are the closest all have stronger reactions to what happened.
Pete & Flower talking about their deaths in some detail.
Trevor looks white as a sheet, very freaked out in the beginning about possibly causing Sam’s death. He absolutely doesn’t want someone to be dead because of him. Poor Trev has been through it.
Thanks for reading :). Feel free to chat about it.

Spitballing bc I reread your marriage theory and got brainworms.
Ok, so your theory absolutely makes sense and would give us the typical fairytale solution to Betelgeuse's curse. And like, it is movie 1 canon that he needs to get married to a living person to move freely in the living world, and as of BJBJ it's also strongly been implied that his unfinished business has to do with his marriage, plus Delores seems to think she has some claim to his soul due to the satanic wedding. She even stole a wedding dress to finish the job after 600 years. If he married his way into this mess, it's reasonable that he can also marry out of it. I'm not trying to debunk anything, but I do like it when expectations get subverted.
So I had a thought: Ok, if Delores had a claim on him due to their marriage and if that's related to his inability to move freely and his name curse... his Code 699 violation voided their marriage. What if he got freed* by getting out of a bad marriage when we expect him to get freed by getting into a good one?
Like, his banishment at the end of the movie looked awfully fake. Normally - ok, we only saw it one time before in the 1st movie when he was that big snake, but still - he just vanishes immediately upon the last mention of his name, but never has any reaction (except rage) to the first two mentions. In BJBJ, he turned into a balloon at the first mention, and got a last line in even after the 3rd "Beetlejuice".
What if that's because he's free now? He showed a shitton of power in that church. Everyone there could see him despite not expecting any ghosts. He could kill (or teleport?) a whole bunch of influencers at once. He could freeze and control both the living and fellow ghosts. Except Delores, bc she's eaten a bunch of souls and is (allegedly, we sadly didn't see much of her) insanely powerful. But that's still quite the upgrade for a guy who was defeated by the Maitlands and couldn't get Thee Medium Lydia Deetz to see him for 30 years without getting summoned first.
If we want to see a marriage of True Love, it should be totally motivated by love, and be understood as such, not by any wish to get out, move on, lack of better options (not many people see ghosts I'd bet) or as payment for services rendered (not that Lydia ever paid up...). What better way to get there but to have him be free, first, and still want to marry Lydia without any Green Card/ex wife bullshit, after wooing her in his own weird, mildly terrifying fun way. No more deals, just the (eventual, cause I doubt he'd immediately let on that he has a choice in the matter) understanding that he'll leave whenever she asks him to, but also come whenever she asks him to.
*Ok, wrt freedom, there'd still be the punishment for the Code 699 violation, but my solution to that is in a previous post, and fact is, if there is going to be a third movie or any continuation of the story, they are not going to keep him underground and working as a civil servant for 100 years. He's gonna get out of that somehow (if the punishment even gets acknowledged, because not that many people in the audience sought out/tried to see what the handbook had to say about it).
Betelgeuse and marriage theory
A Beetlejuice head-canon/theory I have (warning, it's somewhat "Beauty & The Beast" coded 🌹🥀).
Having died poisoned on his wedding night, Betelgeuse's soul is bound by the ritual of marriage.
We already know he will be able to reenter the mortal world if he marries a living person (due to the rules of the afterlife and whatnot), but here's where my head-canon starts:
Bound to the ritual of marriage, if he marries someone he loves, who truly love him back, dead or alive, his soul will be freed and he will be able to pass on to the great beyond next to his beloved (once his beloved passes away as well, assuming she happens to be currently alive *hint hint*). This person has to wear Delores' ring and accept and love Betelgeuse as is. She has to fall in love with his soul. Only loving him truly, wearing the ring, and sealing the deal with a kiss will release him, and that way, in the end, both his soul and his beloved's (it has got to be Lydia, please) can move on peacefully into the great beyond and exist without curses or attachments.
Totally a fantasy in my head because there's no way something like this would happen in canon much to the sadness of my little heart lol, but I thought I'd share it with you all. And who knows, maybe if there's a third movie they will explore what it is about Betelgeuse's character that is so attached to the concept of marriage. Because, listen, maybe the ritual where a ghost marries a living person and can materialize in the living world is something that is bound to the rules of the afterlife, and detailed in the Manual for the Recently Deceased, but the symbols and ritual of marriage is something intrinsic to the character of Betelgeuse itself.
He died on his wedding night, for starters. He was tricked by Delores and fell for her immediately. One could argue he fell quickly because she is so gorgeous and no doubt manipulated him into believing she loved him, and that's definitely part of it, but also, (and I have no doubt about this one), he believed her and fell for her immediately because Betelgeuse wants to be loved. He's a romantic underneath it all, and he wants to love and be loved. He might have been desiring it for a long time, failing to find love throughout his life until he met Delores.
He may exude self-confidence (maybe even to a delulu extent lol) and present himself in this very raunchy way, but inside, I'm sure he desires a genuine love; he wants to love someone and be loved truly. And he died, murdered by his bride on the night of his wedding. Betelgeuse was murdered on the night that should have been the happiest of his life, and his desire for love and a wedding stayed with him beyond the grave, now stained with blood and betrayal and a curse that can only be broken, in my head-canon/theory, by marrying someone who truly loves him, whom he truly loves.
Marriage is definitely a very important theme in Beetlejuice, so it'd be interesting if there's something more underneath it, which could be explored in the next movie if we are so lucky to get it.
#beetlejuice beetlejuice#I think it'd be a while before they move on#they need to life a little first. so to speak

i don’t want to walk alone
established buddie, 1.6k
this is part 2 of a pair! find part 1 here
read on ao3
Years ago, if someone had told Eddie that this is where he would be today, he never would have believed them. He probably would have just laughed, and filed the notion away as something beautiful that he could never truly have. Something that would always be just out of reach for someone like him. And he would have lived with that.
But here he was.
Today, Eddie was in his best suit, with a flower pinned to his lapel. Today, Eddie was happier than he’d ever been. Today, Eddie was marrying his best friend.
Most of him was excited. But there was a small part of him—a tiny, tiny part—that was absolutely fucking terrified. He wanted to marry Buck, of that he was certain. He wanted to be Buck's husband, but he wanted to be a good husband. He wanted to be everything that Buck deserved in a partner. There were still some days where he wasn't sure he managed it.
Eddie had been married before, and he'd been shit at it. He hadn't been a good husband to Shannon, and he knew enough to admit that she had never been perfect either, but he worried about it still. He worried that one day Buck would look at him and regret the day he asked.
Which was also insane, because if he knew anything at all he knew that Buck loved him. He lived in it every single day.
He just couldn’t help but think about the way some loves seemed to fade over time, like photographs in the sun, until they were just ghosts of what they used to be. Washed out remnants of a brighter past.
He'd watched it happen with his parents as he grew up. Watched as the fights and the cutting remarks (or, worse, the empty silences) grew more frequent, while the moments of joy and affection came sparingly. Like they just got... tired. Of loving one another. He didn't want to be like that.
Eddie wanted to try, for Buck. He wanted to do better, to be better than he was before, for Buck. Because Buck deserved that, and on some level Eddie knew he deserved it too.
So here he was, wandering through their little venue to where Buck was getting ready, hoping that just being in the presence of his fiancé would do something to soothe his nerves.
"Isn't it bad luck for you to be here right now?" Buck said as Eddie slipped into the room and shut the door behind him. Buck didn't turn around, too focused on the mess he was making of a tie knot in the mirror.
"Oh what, you really believe that crap?" Eddie replied.
"No." He made a face. "A little. Whatever, but if we decide we hate each other and get divorced in three years I'm blaming you."
"Don't jinx it before we even get started."
"You don't believe in jinxes."
"I just wanted to see you."
Buck just hummed in response that time, attempting the knot once more.
"Here, let me help," Eddie said, gently pulling Buck's hands away and taking the ends of the tie in his own. It was a pretty blue, one that matched his eyes.
"Bobby tried teaching me how to do this," Buck said as he turned fully to Eddie and let him take over. "Maddie too. I can never seem to get the hang of it. Guess I won't have to worry about that now that I've got you around, huh?"
There's this feeling people get sometimes, where you're so happy you almost feel sad; maybe because you know you won't feel this happy all the time, because there are always other things that need attention, or maybe because you think you'll never feel this happy again. Eddie felt that now. He had his perfect life in the palm of his hand, everything he could want, but he was standing here thinking about how it might wither with time, and slip away from him.
Eddie smiled at Buck, and smoothed his tie down, and hoped those thoughts weren’t too clear on his face.
"You okay?" Buck said, eyes searching, always observant.
"Yeah, ‘course," he replied, shaking his head a bit. "Where is Maddie, anyway? I figured she'd be here with you, helping you get ready."
"She was," Buck said, not commenting on the swift subject change. “But she was getting all misty-eyed and ‘oh my little brother is all grown up’ again, so I told her to see if she could swipe something from the caterers for me because I am starving.”
Eddie laughed a bit. “Seriously?”
“Yeah, but you probably haven't got long before she comes back and kicks you out. Bad luck and all that.”
Bad luck, his mind repeated viciously. For a second he wondered, ridiculously, if it really was. If he'd somehow ruined them just by showing up in the room. It was absurd, but it made him want to make up for it somehow, just a little.
So, Eddie reached up and adjusted Buck's tie once more, so it was perfectly straight. Then he turned to the mirror, to his own reflection, and did the same. Then did it again. He wasn't sure if there was actually something wrong with it, or if he was just fidgeting because he suddenly didn't know what to do with his hands, but he did it once more anyway, just for good measure.
"Eddie, you're fussing," Buck said.
"Sorry," he replied, dropping his hands. "I just want it all to be perfect." For you, he added silently, I want it to be perfect for you. As if the configuration of his tie had any bearing on the longevity of their marriage.
"It is perfect. Eddie, we could be getting married in the worst clothes we own, in the parking lot of a fucking Waffle House—"
"I don't think that's legal."
"—and it wouldn't matter," Buck continued over Eddie's interruption, "because I'd still be marrying you."
Eddie tried to smile, and he hated himself a little for feeling like this on a day that was supposed to be nothing but joy, but the ache remained.
"Eds," Buck said, rubbing his hands down Eddie's arms and looking at him in the mirror. The familiar nickname tugged at something in Eddie's heart. "What's wrong?"
"I don't know. Last night I was fine, and now..."
"Now what?" Buck said, and he sounded—he sounded almost hurt. Or, rather, he sounded like he was trying hard not to sound hurt. "Eddie, if you don't want to do this—"
"No. God, no," Eddie said quickly. "Of course I want to. It's the only thing I want. It's the only thing I've wanted since our first date. I have no doubts about whether I want to marry you."
The corner of Buck's lips twitched up a bit, a quiet smile, like he was remembering it. The way they'd fumbled at first, not really sure how to act now that they'd crossed that line between friends and more. But once Buck cracked a joke, and Eddie laughed, and they'd fallen into conversation as easily as ever, the night had passed far too quickly. And Eddie knew he wanted to live every night just like that, for the rest of his life.
"Then what is it?" Buck prompted.
"I just... what if I'm not enough for you?" he asked, turning his back to the mirror so he could look at Buck fully, instead of just a reflection.
"Eddie—"
"Not right now," he said, shaking his head. "I mean down the line. When the novelty of it all has worn off and it's just... life. What if you decide you want more than what I can give you?"
Buck stared at him for a moment, then took Eddie's hand, and placed it gently over his heart. "You feel that?" he said. Eddie counted the beats beneath his palm, and nodded. "That's for you. It always will be."
Eddie looked at him, and found himself at a complete loss for words. He felt… whole, standing here with Buck. Like everything that Buck was and everything that he said and everything they could be together, for the rest of their lives, had filled Eddie to the brim, and the lump in his throat and the tears gathering in his eyes were just the overflow of everything he was feeling, needing to be let out because he couldn't possibly contain it.
He’d felt, sometimes, before all this, like he’d been holding his fragile heart in his hands, keeping it close to himself and away from anyone who might be careless with it. Then Buck had come along and gently pried his fingers open, stiff from holding this precious piece of himself for so long, and he’d taken it as his own, and treated it more carefully than Eddie had ever thought possible.
"I love you," Eddie said. "So much."
"I love you too,” Buck replied. “It's that easy, remember?"
"It's that easy," Eddie repeated, whispered like a prayer, kept close to his chest as a reminder of what they meant to each other.
"You are everything I am ever gonna need, I promise," Buck said sincerely, pulling Eddie close.
Eddie laughed a bit. "Save that for the vows, yeah?"
"Oh I've got plenty more where that came from. I'm like fucking Rembrandt."
"Rembrandt was a painter."
"Whatever. I'll paint a picture with my words. It'll be super romantic."
Eddie didn't doubt it.
For a moment, standing here in Buck's arms, just a couple short hours away from being able to call him husband, it really did feel that easy.
Maybe, with Buck, it would always be that easy.

okay it’s time for some stardew valley headcanons for the bachelor/ette(s) so let’s GOOOO
Alex:
- he always awakes before his grandparents, and on warmer days he’ll go down to the beach to watch the sunrise.
- friends with elliot! the two of them sit on the side of the dock sometimes and just chat about life.
- knows how to make cookies, as evelyn taught him when he was a bit younger
- wary of the saloon, as he doesn’t really like the smell of alcohol and only goes into it if he’s forced to!
- if you marry him, he can and will pick you up randomly to surprise you while you’re working!
- if married, he will “bench press” your kids once they become toddlers, and it always makes them giggle
- hates the winter and gets cold really easily. on the first day of fall he’s already bundled up wanting it to be summer again.
Elliot:
- willy is like a father to him. the two of them sit on the docks and watch the fish swim by together
- sometimes he’ll braid his hair, and leah will bring flowers from the forest and weave them into his hair.
- has a rlly pretty singing voice, and likes to record piano covers in his spare time
- if you marry him and the two of u have kids, he’ll always braid their hair in the morning and tuck flowers behind their ears.
- he brings home fresh fish he caught and makes himself dinner every night. that’s why he’s an excellent cook.
- has actually caught a legendary fish before!
- his eyes change color, they can go from blue to green to brown in the same day. people call them the “prismatic shard of eyes”
Harvey:
- he’s so clumsy that sometimes he’ll even trip over air. due to this, he has little bruises all over his knees and elbows.
- his favorite animals are birds. sometimes he’ll go outside and just give them some bird seed. he loves watching them fly around.
- not only is he fascinated with planes, but he’s also fascinated with the weather. as a kid he used to watch the weather channel, and he dreamed of becoming a weatherman.
- when he needs to focus really hard, he’ll pull his hair back with a headband
- him and his mother were and still are very close, and he writes letters to her at least once a week
- he cannot cook to save his life, but he’s an incredible baker! will make you little treats if you’re friends or married
- he always wears a wristwatch, but the time is always 6 minutes behind. he likes it because it has a plane engraved into the side against his wrist.
Sam:
- he had adhd, and his stims include flapping his hands, tapping his foot and strumming his guitar
- he has a beautiful singing voice, think like wilbur soot but a bit more high pitched?
- the reason he likes cactus fruit so much is because he just plants them and lets them grow. he loves succulents because they don’t give him an allergic reaction!
- cannot play video games for shit. sebastian and abigail have banned him from multi-player games because he just sucks so bad.
- love language is acts of service, simply because he likes singing for people he cares about and doing little things for them!
- if you marry him, he will bring his guitar into the coop and/or barn and sing to the animals. they have learned to run over a greet him, since they love his singing.
- his hair is actually curly, but you’re unable to tell due to how much he gels and straightens his hair.
- has mastered the art of the puppy dog eyes
Sebastian:
- loves the hell out of halloween, but is scared of literally everything. he nearly cried watching a horror movie with sam and abigail.
- really good with a slingshot! so if he were to go into the mines, he would wreck some monsters shit with his slingshot skills
- he had glow in the dark stars on his ceiling, but removed them. he used to love the stars and space, but came to resent them because it was his sisters thing.
- he like…irl blushes. like an anime character. when he’s embarrassed, upset, flustered, his face will go all pink. everyone picks on him for it.
- has/had a crush on most of the towns singles. he is a bisexual disaster and secretly a romantic so….take from that what you will.
- a natural born ginger, but dyes his hair. he also has freckles on his nose! and he has an eyebrow slit because of a scar!!
- for some stupid reason, he takes really good care of his hands? like he always makes sure they don’t get calloused, and his nails are always painted black, despite using his hands all the time for work.
Shane:
- he cannot cook. he burned pasta noodles because he didn’t know you had to put water in the pan.
- he still has a chicken plushie from when he was a baby, and it still sits on his bed. and if he cuddles with it at night? no one needs to know.
- has a huge birthmark on his side shaped like a heart
- really good at mixology, so i think that when joja gets shut down, shane works at the saloon and makes the drinks while gus cooks. he adds a whole new section on the menu!
- friends with sebastian. they paint each other’s nails from time to time, or sit in the rain together and just talk.
- kinda strong as hell? he lifts boxes in joja for work, as well as carrying around jas, so i’m assuming he could just….pick the farmer and his friends up?
- he has the most contagious laugh, it used to be a rare sound, but now that it’s a pretty common occurrence, shane makes people laugh all the time with his own laugh.
Abigail:
- buff. she is buff as hell. her and alex work out together sometimes, since she expressed a desire for adventure. she has picked up sam and sebastian with no warning and thrown them into the ocean
- can talk to animals due to her being the daughter of the wizard! so sometimes she’ll go to marnies farm and just chat with the cows or something
- if she sees a tree, she WILL climb it. she loves it so much, it’s just so adrenaline inducing for her.
- her and sebastian tried to go into the mines before but sam stopped them because it wouldn’t have been very safe. they were all 14.
- trying to learn to play the ukulele with a little help from sam. it’s frustrating, but she really likes the sound of it, and she’s determined as hell.
- absolutely cracked at any and all video games he plays. mario kart? she will kick your ass. animal crossing? her island has 5 stars. pokémon? she always wins. you can’t stop her, she’s too powerful.
- she has glasses, but prefers contacts, since glasses would get in the way of her adventuring.
Emily:
- not only can she sew, but she also makes her own soaps and candles! any form of creation she adores.
- loves flowers, and has a lot of little potted ones in her room. she raises them, gives them little names and personalities, and then brings them to sandy and tells her all about each flower
- she can roller skate, and it’s her preferred method of transportation. she can do a bunch of fun tricks as well!
- has an eyebrow slit
- making cute little baskets of homemade gifts is her favorite thing to do for her friends. sometimes she’ll just leave them on their doorsteps for no reason other than she wants to!
- can SPRINT in heels. like even 6 inch heels she can just RUN and it scares everyone who sees it.
- she loves the sounds of birds chirping in the morning, and she’s able to identify the name of the bird by its chirping and calls
Haley:
- is able to perfectly crack and drink from coconuts. that’s why she loves them so much.
- has the worst sense of direction. she’s lucky she lives in a small town, or she’d get lost all the time
- the spring is her favorite time of year, simply because she loves to capture life coming back in those spring months. baby animals, blooming flowers, her friends on the beach or just chilling in the sun, all of it
- her most prized possession is the very first picture her and emily took as kids on their parents polaroid. it’s taped to her mirror
- has a little beauty mark under her lip, but it normally isn’t visible due to being covered with makeup!
- she’s able to do her own nails! this is because she is ambidextrous, yet she doesn’t know, because it’s never been brought up
- she fucking LOVES learning about and identifying plants, trees and flowers. she knows so many it’s crazy. she has a great memory.
Leah:
- resident true crime enthusiast and ghost hunter. she drags elliot with her around town to go hunting for ghosts. they also watch documentaries together!
- has a bunch of little scars on her hands from her artwork
- to get inspiration for works, she’ll go on walks at different times of the day, different seasons, different routes, and she’ll turn each walk into a work of art. depending on all the environment and those who she runs into, each piece is vastly different.
- animals love her, and will sometimes just follow her around for no reason. she doesn’t mind at all, she kinda loves it.
- friends with emily. they are currently teaching each other their own forms of art, since they love learning from each other!
- really good at dancing, she’ll dance while she’s working on projects and she’ll hum a song to herself
- her favorite statue was created after she went on a walk, ran into abigail, and the two of them went swimming in the ocean and stayed there as the sun set and the stars came out. she has a little crush on abigail.
Maru:
- her hair is ALWAYS tied up, it’s impossible for her to work if her hair is in her eyes
- when she was a kid she wanted to be an astronaut, because she loves the stars, but she found she prefers the science and math behind it all
- she pierced her own ears, she has little star earrings!
- watches cartoons and geeks out about them with penny when they meet up in town!
- for some odd reason, she is terrified of butterflies. no one who knows her, or even maru herself have ANY idea why, but she will run away if she sees one.
- her favorite memory was the one night her and sebastian stayed up really late as kids and snuck outside to look at the stars (back when sebastian still loved them) and they ended up seeing a meteor shower
- she presses flowers as a hobby, and just keeps them in a little notebook alongside her ideas for projects and gadgets.
Penny:
- while she’s cleaning her and pam’s home, she finds herself singing to herself. she has yet to be caught by anyone
- each day, her hair is done ever-so-slightly different. each morning, she likes to change it up, and sometimes jas or vincent will give her something to put in her hair
- also interested in ghosts, will occasionally join elliot and leah on their adventures
- she is naturally really warm, so she doesn’t have to bundle up as much during the winter. the kids cling to her because she’s like a human space heater
- has a bit of a geeky side, and she loves to watch cartoons a lot. when she can find the time, she always watches them. they being her lots of comfort.
- has a small scar on her side from when she tripped over as a child onto something sharp. she likes it because with two freckles, it makes a little smiley face
- loves the water and the feeling of sea wind in her hair. she secretly wants to learn to drive a boat, so she can feel that wind in her hair whenever she wants.

Heyo!! So here's the thing: I love your oc content, their designs, everything — BUT I am shit at memory and every time I see them I just can't remember exactly who is who... would you be willing to do like a quick (or not! I genuinely love textwalls of this stuff) rundown of your ocs? And if you just don't feel like doing that, you can just talk about an oc of your choice or tell me about your day!! Lotsa love and stuff :)
OKAY I WILL. TRY.
Devil's Advocate
Seth Wingstrom: Tall devil-looking guy. Defense attorney. Nervous and high strung. Eldest daughter syndrome. Trying to not be condescending. Being gaslit by his twin brother.
Raphael Wingstrom: Tiny angel-looking guy. Prosecutor. Unbothered and holier-than-thou. Abusive.
Verity: Lady in the cloak with her hair over her LEFT eye. Paralegal. Observant and fun-loving. Has amnesia. Knows exactly what Raph is doing and hates it.
Pandora Spinelli: Lady in the bow with her hair over her RIGHT eye. Prosecutor. Tired and wants something new after losing faith in the system. The past version of Verity, before she lost her memory.
Friday Adett: Lady with the square glasses and the fluffy hoodie. Wage slave/paralegal. Fatalistic but terrified of disappointing people. The straightman to Seth and Verity's outlandish BS.
Kirstynne Vainglory: Girl in the flower crown. Rich and airheaded. Recovering fujoshi.
Clover Fielding: Man with the goggles and the clover-shaped hairbun. Married to Paetra and helping Verity get back on her feet. Forensic scientist. Loves to experiment but is terrified of death.
Paetra Ironmonger: Lady with the fedora and trenchcoat (affectionate). Married to Clover and helping Verity get back on her feet. Private investigator. Tends to snoop instead of confronting people head on.
Work in Progress
Seraphina Bright: Lady with the star key necklace and the tied shirt. Bubbly and friendly. Furry artist. Determined to fix her childhood friends after meeting them again.
Ven ver Captionem: Person with the spiky ponytail and the bandaged arm. Blunt and avoidant. Video game livestreamer that despises their audience. Murdered their abusive brother and is really torn up about it.
Joshua O'Reilly: Guy with the fedora and trenchcoat (derogatory). Snooty and cowardly. Redditor. Absolute chode that's slowly realizing his actions have consequences.
Cadell Lockhart: Living cartoon with a jester hat. Tries to play the part of a silly sidekick, but has way more going on. Wants the trio to forget their trauma and stay in the cartoon world they accidentally made. Actually Arcadia Bright, Sera's older sibling.
Giving Up the Ghost
Hitoshi Hidaka: Guy in the bandanna and suspenders. Mailman. Hates talking about his problems, constantly laughing at himself. Could be a better dad to his kid, but could also be a lot worse.
Akiko Sasaki: Teen in the overalls and high ponytail. Wants to be a gardener. Sees ghosts. A grump, but loves to instigate trouble for fun and profit. Scared of their dad and trying to hide it.
Aoi Sasaki: Lady with the high bun and sharp jaw. Dead for the duration of the story. Hito's ex and Akiko's mom. Abusive, but Akiko doesn't know it. Trying to turn Hito and Akiko against each other.
Jackson McIntosh: Lady with the safety pin earring and apple patterned blouse. Stern, but can let loose if she wants to. Wants to be a mother. Struggling to hold down a job. Briefly hooks up with Hito.
Ko Uchiyama: Boy with the patched cap and scarf. Homeless kid that's staying off and on with Jackie. Wants to be a magician. Verbose and polite. Ran away from home after believing himself unloved.
Ayaka Uchiyama: Girl with the apron and the paint in her hair. Living alone with her mother. Has never been outside. Nervous but eager. Loves stories, and is being taught to paint. Doesn't realize the stories she comes up with parallel real life. Thinks her brother Ko is dead.
Misc
The Artisan: The god of this entire realm. Heartbroken over its own creations. Got shattered during a moment of weakness. Most of its power was absorbed by Anon, but three pieces of its storytelling ability struck three different characters - narration for Ayaka, setting and tone for Cadell, character development for Verity.
Anon: The concept of the magic anon, personified. Used to be an ordinary person, but tried to take advantage of The Artisan and accidentally pushed it to the brink instead. Xe now holds godlike power and uses it to screw with The Artisan's creations however xe pleases.
There's secondary characters, and ones that don't have real stories, but those are the main ones to know about!

~Metal Family headcanons~
These are like my... general hcs)? which means I didn't include my main hc that Glam, Ches and Vicky are polyamorous, married and started dating after Glam met Vicky, and absolutely everything that implies for the kids and the relationships between each member of the fam. Maybe I'll make a separate post for that or maybe not! Who knows lkfwnlfqnf
Glam
Bisexual
Glam has constant nightmares and ocasional night terrors ever since he ran away home and is an active sleep walker. Ches helped him through the worse ones when they were younger, and learned how to deal with them, always preferring not to wake him up but being with him until the episode passed. Vicky has learned how to deal with them, though she normally asks Ches for advice with it cuz she comes out short sometimes.
He has PTSD. I bet it's diagnosed too, he takes medication and goes to therapy, it doesn't mean he still doesn't have his bad days anyway. He's trying to get better.
Glam has talked to Vicky about his past, his father and his family. This is a direct contradiction of Alina's confirmation that Glam doesn't talk about it with anyone but man FUCK THAT. We love good communication in this house, Vicky tries her best to help him, but there's only so much she can do to help.
Glam enjoys gardening, cooking and making models, he also likes doing his make up, painting his nails and dressing up in fancy, extravagant clothes even if he has nowhere important to go.
He likes taking care of everyone's hair, and constantly helps Vicky brush her hair cuz there's so much of it, Dee when he gets stressed over how tangled it can get, buys Ches hair products so he actually takes care of it, and chases Heavy so the kid actually washes, untangles and brushes his hair.
This one is kind of weird, but I refuse to think any adult in the family is unarmed at any time. Glam owns a taser and pepper spray. They're bright pink and sparkly.
This man cried his eyes out while watching Coco. He's hell to watch movies with cuz he talks and predicts what's gonna happen during the movie, judges them with scores at the end and all.
Vicky
Also bisexual!
Vicky's the one who does everyone's laundry most of the time. She prefers it that way since she's the only one that knows how to wash their black clothes so the colors stay vibrant. (This is based on my gf shaming everyone but Vicky cuz their black clothes always look so muted and almost gray, but Vicky's whole outfit is always the same vibrant black colors, so we decided that neither Glam or the kids know how to wash dark clothes)
She has anger issues, if it isn't obvious. I think she also has PTSD, mainly survivor's guilt due to her surviving the accident her brother died in. She blames herself and cannot bear to talk about it, in some sort of deep denial. If she can't remember, it can't hurt as much, right?
She has scars on the right side of her back and her hip, from the road rash she got on her brother's accident, she never treated it due to grief and it scarred badly. Apart from that, the scar of the caesarean section from Heavy's birth. She doesn't really mind both of them, they happened, nothing to do about them.
She likes watching boxing competitions, brawling matches and motorcycle repairing on TV. Loves doing BBQ's and going to the pool. Also an enjoyer of teasing her kids, kissing and loving her husband at random times, spending time drinking and bonding with Ches and bragging about her family and punching anyone who thinks they're not that cool.
Not particularly a fan of make up, skirts and dresses or any traditionally femenine-perceived stuff. But has been making exceptions due to Glam and Ches being unashamed of being seen as femenine, and actually rocking the looks. The internalized misogyny is kind of slowly dissapearing.
Apart from the guns she carries in each arm (I mean her biceps, have you looked at the size of those?? She strong) she has brass knuckles on her at all times. Glam gifts her new ones sometimes, she loves having multiple choices to punch people teeth in.
Loves horror, thrillers and action movies. Falls asleep during rom-coms and dramas. Ironically, loves gossip and talking shit about people. Enjoys hearing Ches talks about the gossip going on in the nursery home even if she doesn't know who the hell he's talking about.
Rest of the family under the cut!
Heavy
Heavy is a trans boy! He doesn't know his sexuality yet though, he's still figuring himself out. When he's older, i think he definitely dated some men but had better luck with girls.
Heavy has had innocent crushes on some girls on his class before, but they never turn into anything more cuz he's not the best at expressing himself. He follows the bother-the-girl-to-death-until-she-hates-you gimmick, and unsurprisingly, it doesn't work.
I'm sorry to break this to u but Heavy totally had an among us phase, and uses so much reddit and twitch slang... You know he does.
Likes bullying and teasing his brother to death. You know that when Dee had his first romance, Heavy was ALL up in his business being a tease and a bad attempt at a wingman. He means well tho.
He's not squeamish at all. Also has great pain resistance. This kid has picked cockroaches with his bare hands and loves cats, of course the cats have scratched him. He's tough!
Grows up to be the charming himbo he was always destined to be.
Dee
I hc him as demisexual. Kind of inherited his dad's tastes for the takes no crap, intimidating but pretty kind of people.
Can't cook. He tries but he can only do basics like rice, cereal, chicken nuggets or eggs. Complicated meals always burn or don't taste like anything at all. It drives him crazy.
Dee was a quiet and very well behaved toddler before Heavy was born. He never threw tantrums or got whims. After Heavy was born though, and despite the fact he understood his brother was small and needed special care, he started craving attention often and cried and got mad at little things. Typical jealousy of the oldest sibling.
The first time Dee fell in love with someone, he didn't recognize it was love at first. He just thought his interest on the person was born out of curiosity and aesthetic attraction, but as soon as he realized he seeked validation and companionship, that he liked seeing them smile, that he wanted to protect them, that he yearned for more time alone with them and that he wanted more than what just a simple friendship implied, it was an instant 'oh hell no'. He wanted those feelings to get the hell away, but unfortunately, they were there to stay.
Canonically likes MLP, psychological and horror anime like Death note and Hellsing, so I'm deciding he also watched Death Parade, had a FNAF phase, is very into The Walten Files. This guy enjoys any kind of specially dark ARG's and knows a ton of lore of real crime, unsolved cases, ghost appearances and other stuff. Doesn't believe in the supernatural, but sure is entertained by it.
He's a mess at romance. Flirting? His attempts at compliments are hardly flattering. Giving gifts? The best he can manage is jewelry and you can kind of tell he asked his dad for help. Dates? He's so nervous he's silent for most of it, but begins getting comfortable and having fun if his partner really knows how to get him down from his negativity cloud.
Ches
Pansexual.
He's very good with kids. He has the patience of a saint and he's laid-back, chill and fun but still is an authority figure who knows how to put limits. Sure, he's gonna let the kids light up a house on fire BUT hey, now they know everything about fire precautions, burns and how to treat them AND how to get away with arson. What an educational evening, am I right?
Due to certain info from the "Goodbye" official comic, I headcanon Ches as depressed. I don't want to elaborate a lot 'cuz of spoilers, but... God, everything related to his mom fucking hurts, man. How did he deal with all that?
Ches has been Dee and Heavy's babysitter so many times he cannot count them with all his fingers. He learned how to put those kids to sleep almost immediately (Sing Bon Jovi's "This ain't a love song" and any cheesy love song in a slow lullaby style and they're out), which movie were their favorite as kids (Heavy loved 'Monsters Inc.' and Dee never looked away during 'Meet the Robinsons'), how to console them after nightmares (Heavy needed reassurance, sweet words, and to be with someone until he fell asleep again. Dee just had to be tucked in, get his nightlight turned on and kissed in the forehead). He practically raised those kids along with Vicky and Glam.
More than once, Dee and Heavy have slipped and called Ches "Dad". Ches immediately gets his shit eating grin on and answers "Yes, son?" and does a couple of dad jokes just to mess and embarrass them. He's actually very flattered and surprised at how proud of himself he is for being a father figure to both kids.
Has a scar on the left side of his forehead due to a bottle his mom threw at him when he was younger, around the time he met Glam. He hates the scar with passion, it's a permanent reminder of the fact she never cared, that's why he always keeps it covered with his headband. Gets sad about it sometimes.
Ches likes to spend his time with a group of grannies of the nearby nursing home. He genuinely considers them his friends and gossips and hangs out with all of them on weekends. Bingo, billiards, walks in the park, soap opera marathons, you name it. I even designed them, gave them names and backstories... God, i just love the concept too much. I'll make some art about Ches and his granny gang FOR SURE, you're NOT ready for them.
Carries a pocket knife on him at all times. This man grew up on a bad neighborhood and absolutely knows how to defend himself, he can be intimidating when he wants to be and will pose a threat if needed. He's fucking terrifying when genuinely mad. Just cause he looks harmless doesn't mean he is, darling.
That would be all!

I just had an idea about itachi being absolutely mortified when he knows Sasuke is sexually active. And it’s not like he listens in on them or anything it’s just when Sasuke first start having sex he can’t help but be a little louder than he would like. So itachi is absolutely ashamed to know his brother is impure. He can’t really talk but! He still is surprised( not really) but this also happens with all the other boys too!
Iruka and Naruto have a serious talk about consensual and safe sex. He reprimands him but understands(wink)
Kibas mom has a dark look and he has a devious one wishing his alpha goodbye and kissing them sweetly while they rush out from his house trying not to get a hit to the face by his sisters.
Shino’s dad stays quiet and avoids the conversation. Until Shino asks him what he should do when his alpha whimpers in bed. His dad blushes hard and says that it’s just a normal reaction when they feel good. The two couldn’t stop blushing I swear!
Neji oh neji his uncle walks by and neji get louder trying to rub it in his uncles face that he doesn’t give a shit. That he and his alpha love each other and that his up tight ass isn’t going to do anything.
Yeah I feel like it was funny 😄
-Short stack
Sorry! It’s kinda long
This is hilarious, thank you so much for sending this in 😂 @voodoogoul
Sexually suggestive content below :)
You're right, Itachi is absolutely mortified when he gets proof that Sasuke is sexually active. He had a suspicion, but he was quite happy living in denial, so to get proof is quite jarring.
I was imagining something like Sasuke walking in without realising he's covered in hickeys and Itachi's soul just vacates his body for a moment, but your scenario is even more dramatic lol.
Maybe Sasuke and his alpha, about 16-18 years old (idk what Konoha's age of consent it rip) making the most of Mikoto's and Fugaku's extended council meeting. And Itachi was just coming over to grab his pup's favourite toy that they left there... And he hears some... things. Itachi blinks once and then promptly grabs the toy and leaves as fast as he can, looking like he's seen a ghost. An irrational part of him want to storm in there and separate them because they're too young to be doing that! But Itachi would be a hypocrite and Sasuke would probably try to kill him, so that plan is off the table. Instead he just goes home and vents to his alpha about the horrors he just experienced.
Iruka is a very responsible parent. He blushes then different shades of red when he walks home early from work (for once in his life) and hears Naruto doing... things. So, he just calmly leaves and does his paperwork at a nearby restaurant, and by does his paperwork, I mean he has an internal crisis about how to handle this while he stares at a blank piece of paper. He also has a minor freakout about becoming a grandparent too soon.
He goes home at the time he'd normally be home so no one is surprised, and he asks his alpha to help him give Naruto the talk. They sit Naruto down, who is probably a bit embarrassed they his parents figured out what he's been doing but he handles it okay. Iruka really stresses consent, you're right, and also contraception. And he asks to meet the mysterious person over dinner as soon as possible, just to make sure they're a decent person.
Kiba is shameless!!! Him and his alpha walk out of his room after the sexy times so the alpha can leave, and his mother and sister are just sitting at the kitchen table staring at them both. Kiba's alpha is fucking terrified, understandably so, but Kiba just grins and gives his alpha the most flirty hug and tongue filled kiss he can. Hana and Tsume are not impressed, but Kiba just blows his alpha a kiss and then shoves them out of the door before his family can tear them apart. lol
Shino's dad seems like the sort of parent who has no idea how to go about teaching his son about sex so he just silently hands a 12 year old Shino a book on the topic and leaves immediately lol. And then Shino starts acting weird when he's an adult and says he needs to talk to his dad about something. It's the most awkward conversation that he ever existed, but Shino asks something about how he should make himself appealing to his alpha sexually because he doesn't know and he doesn't want them to leave him. Shibi almost ascends to a different plane when the question comes out of his son's mouth. Eventually, Shibi says he should be himself, but that if he's worried, Shino should ask his alpha about it.
Aww, as hilarious as it would be for Neji to rub it in his uncle's face, I don't think he would unfortunately. I feel like Neji wants to shut his uncle out of his life as much as possible. In a world where he manages to get pregnant, Neji doesn't tell his uncle at all. He waits until the rumours reach him after Neji has started showing. But if his uncle ever did overhear Neji and his alpha during their alone time, I think he would just quietly leave. I think if this was after he'd started his redemption arc, he'd be happy that his nephew is happy finally and just quietly leave and never mention it again. If he was still being an arse, he'd still leave quietly, but he might stir up a fuss if Neji and his alpha weren't married yet.
These were stunning headcanons 😍 Thank you so much for sending them in! @voodoogoul

Thomas Thorne
Since you and Thomas already reside in Button House with the rest of the ghosts, you obviously don't need to move in together, but Thomas does make a big deal about "officially" moving into your room. Really, there's no need to be so dramatic about going from sleeping in your room most of the time to sleeping in your room all of the time, but he's just like that and you love him for it. You have to admit that it's nice to know that when you wake up, he'll always be there beside you.
Christopher Payne
Christopher worries a bit about you moving into Payne Manor, not because he doesn't want you around, but because of his dad. Though he's improved a lot, Mr. Payne is still kind of a jerk and Chris doesn't want him to scare you off. But it turns out that the house is big enough for you to not really have to interact with Mr. Payne that often, and you find that it's a lot easier to just live in Yonderland rather than have to travel from your realm every day to see Chris.
Jamie Winton
Jamie worries over asking you to move in with him for a while, so you know that it means a lot when he eventually does ask. He likes to keep things tidy so you don’t have to clean up after him, and he cooks really well and he’ll definitely make you breakfast in bed frequently.
One of the only downsides is the fact that Dave is also there, and he sometimes makes it difficult for the two of you to have any privacy, but otherwise, it's great.
Ariel Conroy
You end up moving in with Ariel at his suggestion, when you no longer feel safe at your own place. Strange things keep happening there: multiple break-ins that the police cannot find the culprit for, mysterious phone calls at all hours of the night, the eerie feeling that you’re being watched…
The whole thing has you absolutely terrified, so when Ariel offers to let you stay with him – he tells you that it’s not safe for you to be all on your own when someone is clearly after you – you immediately take him up on it. Each time you worry that you’re imposing on his hospitality he insists that you stay a little longer, until you’ve been there for so long you pretty much live there.
Ariel is glad he’s managed to convince you that you’re better off with him, the fact that his methods to make you realise it were morally questionable is irrelevant.
Bill Shakespeare
The house that you and Bill move into after getting married isn't exactly anything special, but he promises that it'll be able to be fixed up once he starts making more money from his plays. You don't mind so much, the house is nice enough and you're just glad that you get to live there with him, but Bill insists on making it a bit nicer for you. He just wants you to be happy.
William Agar
You and William move in together just after you get married. He's not exactly used to living with someone else, so he's pretty anxious in the beginning, but he slowly becomes more comfortable once you've been living together for a while.
He loves to see the little decorating touches that you make, and every time he looks at something that you picked out – whether it be furniture, art, or just some flowers that you thought would brighten up the place – he smiles because they make him think of you.
