#i should make a garden tag

my blueberries survived the winter on the porch! so i got a baby raspberry and ive set up the 5gal buckets for tomatoes, cukes, and cucamelons(!!!). behind me when i took this i also have some grape hyacinths and crocuses coming up, and some snap peas (and maybe snow peas? the packet says snow peas, but it had snap peas written in sharpie on it...?) started! :)

i also want to get some bee balm! i will probably put her in a 5gal bucket too. i may need to move the bluebs and strawbs away from the side of the house in the heat of the summer but we'll see. the high solid railing makes it hard bc the containers have to be raised up to get sun if theyre next to it.

i want to try watering the veggies with ollas this year (unglazed terracotta gourd-shaped containers that you bury except the neck and then fill with water so it seeps thru into the dirt and u dont have to worry about evaporation) so i made some with 4" pots and their trays and some aquarium-safe silicone :) we'll see how it goes, since terracotta for plant pots is uuusually not as porous as purpose-made ollas. i need to paint some rocks to set on top of them to block the fill holes once i bury them so mosquitoes dont get in.

i read a pinescone fic recently abt wirt being the anti-beast by leading lost children out of the woods and it drove me insane and i suddenly started thinking abt my pinescone early aughts university au and. wirt instinctually leading people away from being lost without realizing. going into psych to become a guidance counselor/therapist. working part time at the library and directing people to the right section- he always seems to have the right recommendation for someone going through a hard time. his lights shine a bit brighter than everyone else’s, and his window on the top floor faces the woods, so anyone in the forest can see campus in the dark and find their way home. he frequents the lost and found- his laundry always seems to spawn socks that his floor mates lost four years ago. he’s always getting stopped by visiting families and freshmen for directions- he thinks he just walks too slow and looks approachable, no matter how much he scowls. he walks shortcuts over hills and through groves of trees and finds the ground below him a bit more worn than normal every time. wirt is a beacon to the lost and hopeless without even knowing it. even when he is at his loneliest, he is always being followed and always being watched.

dust should have one of those mini zen gardens with all the sand and the little rake you use to make patterns but instead of sand its monster dust. specifically dust of people he doesnt like. how calming and tranquil this is as he puts a mini bridge and rocks and tiny tree into the garden filled with what's basically the human equivalent of blood!

I've noticed a bunch of what if scenarios being submitted, so I couldn't help but think of one myself, if that's alright: What if the Assassins throughout history, like Altair, Ezio, Edward, etc. found a Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts? Maybe its a Piece of Eden in this universe?

Considering Ubisoft’s current situation, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get bought out by the mouse. XD

Okay, so…

I’m going to be completely honest with you, I wanna make Desmond part of the New Seven Hearts because we are missing 3 more new Princesses anyway.

BUT you do want each Assassins to have a Keyblade so we’ll create a Kingdom Hearts-inspired AU instead where the Keyblades are, technically, human-created weaponry using Isu tech created specifically for the Human-Isu War.

Specifically, they’re the humans’ answer to the POEs. And the Keyblades are incomplete as they need ‘keychains’ to boost their capabilities. Without it, they look more or less simple key-shaped weaponry.

It was created this way so that they could manufacture a lot of Keyblades (hinting in a Keyblade graveyard) while the Keychains are the ones that needed more time to be created.

And it is those Keychains that the Assassins and Templars find.

The Keyblades themselves are mostly seen as probably strange decorations, not realizing that their ‘Isu tech’ can only be activated by the Keychains.

Of course, there’s the secret ‘prototype’. Said to have been used to test each and every Keychain and have stored all of their power and capabilities…
