UGH idk as someone who has almost entirely left the dsmp fan community but can’t Not watch the trainwreck as it happens. its lowkey been really sad seeing ppl try and get their old levels of fame through Any means necessary. this is mainly about dream and tommy but is lowkey about most of the exdsmp creators besides tubbo who fully just does his own sick as hell shit in the corner. like dreams weird curation of a cult following (emphasis on Cult) has always and will always be weird to me, and now that he can’t fall back on the dsmp they’re gotten more insular and silently weirder. and tommy starting beef with every creator on the twitter trending page trying to get into the next mogul mail or whatever is… disheartening. not because he’s not right (because he is fuck ksi fuck logan paul fuck dream) but because it’s unnecessary and kinda desperate….. and then the Rest Of Them have mainly transitioned to beastified challenge videos or react videos. idk i know youtube is like their business and livelihood but it’s just sad to watch the passion get beaten out of the creators i used to love. it’s frustrating to see halfhearted twitter beef popping up every time their views plummet. like i thought we were past this it’s been like four years
