#dogblr #rory borealis #ive been doing a lot more scent work in the fields #hiding frozen birds in big areas and then having her find them #this was the biggest area yet #my usual field is about 2 acres #i throw my birds wherever (so she cant track my scent and i dont really know where they are to help her subconsciously)#and this time i used a river valley which was about 14 acres #and threw my birds wherever #some additional challenges included cattails elevation changes and weird wind patterns #it was so cool to watch #honestly there isnt much i love more than watching her in the field #she is so responsive and so in tune with her environment #i see why people get hooked

The global nature of things can be overwhelming because we have the privilege (yes, it’s a good thing even tho it’s not fun) of seeing all the bad every time everywhere, but on the flip side, I genuinely love that when I fixate on some media (tv, movie, book etc etc) and it’s just mediocre… or horrible…or even absolutely perfect… that there’s someone else out there who’s just as obsessed with it for whatever reason and seeing them express that interest leads me to actually weirdly feel immediate gratification with intense mouse-like glee.

All this to say, I think I’m addicted to tumblr y’all.

Okay so we're at 623/1025 Pokemon done right now that's 60.78%, and did you know that each 1 (one) new unique crochet brings us .09% (NOT EVEN A /TENTH/ OF A PERCENT) closer to 100%. ik i talk abt high control groups kinda often but i do encourage anyone involved in discourse in any capacity to watch folding ideas' "this is financial advice" video, because a lot of what he says about the gamestop apes being a self-organizing high control group imo also explains the more toxic discourse tendencies, and i feel like most discussion around high-control groups on here focuses on the tradtional kind that has one or a few distinct leaders which makes it harder to draw parallels between the signs. so i think its important to point out that these kinds of groups can still create that same energy as a unit even if there isn't one specific person calling the shots
