Potential Hazbin AU Idea:

Radiostatic but as Orpheus and Eurydice…but not in the way you think.

Typically when I am thinking of AUs, Vox is the one who falls into the role of the devoted (obsessed) lover, bound as he is to follow in Alastor’s footsteps like a lost sheep. But what if the roles were switched?

Orpheus is meant to be a great musician and singer (which I feel ties in with Alastor’s background as a radio host), and by the end of his myth is effectively immortal because nature itself refuses to let him die (which is dreadfully ironic given Alastor’s constant search for more power).

He just fits the character perfectly!!

And imagine how compelling the story would be…to have Vox - Alastor’s star bound not-quite-lover - die (preferably in front of him or in a manner that Alastor finds demeaning/insulting) and to then have Alastor go on a hell-wide rampage in a futile attempt to get him back.

There’s room for some fun stuff with Lucifer/Charlie in this as well - seeing as they would effectively replace Hades and Persephone - which is always an added bonus.

And the finale…Alastor finally manages to secure Vox’s soul. He can bring him back, all he needs to do is trust that the television is following him. All he needs to do is not. look. back.

But he will. Because fundamentally Alastor trusts no one but himself, and that will cost him everything (ie: Vox).

And when Alastor’s paranoia gets the best of him, and he whips around to see Vox - or a visage of him at least, trapped in some nebulous place in the past Alastor swore he’d never see again, his screen not yet lit by the light at the end of the tunnel - that will be the ultimate betrayal.

And when shadows even he can’t control tear Vox away from him - dragging him somewhere Alastor can’t follow - Alastor will finally understand that he has doomed them. He is King Acrisius and his mistrust is his prison, making Vox the unwilling collateral damage.

Idk, they’re kind of silly I guess. Considering writing something like this, is anyone interested?

Tw: eating disorders

Back when his mom died he used food to cope (especially cake because it was Lilly’s favorite thing to make him). Lou noticed this and told him to stop eating so much if he wanted to be healthy. Obviously he didn’t stop. When Cole became a ninja, he didn’t eat as much and he started to loose weight. Then Zane sacrificed himself and he went back to his habits of using food to cope.

Time skip to when he’s a ghost and all he wants is to feel and touch again. Nothing can comfort him. He can’t even cry since his body is a ghost. After he got his physical body back, all he did was eat his comfort foods. He started gaining weight again and that’s when everyone started making comments about his body. Now we are at season 8 and Cole decides to go on a diet because of this. Cole doesn’t eat that much when he’s around the others and sometimes doesn’t eat at all. They still won’t stop making comments about him and it starts to affect him more. He starts hating the way he looks. He changes the way he dresses (kind of), so he looks less fat. Some days he isolates himself in his room and feels how big his body is. The other ninja don’t realize how much their jokes actually affect Cole. Cole already had a bad self image and this wasn’t making it better.

Okay so I was listening to “Give a Little Guy a Chance” again (as you do) and I kept thinking about Ucheshi’s reaction and then I said “If Ucheshi were the leader, she’d immediately say yes”…which led to this au

Soooooo I have thoughts….

-She’d definitely be a little more cocky in this au. Not as cocky as Makuu or Kiburi, but she wouldn’t be above rubbing stuff in animals’ faces

-Her challenging Pua to a mashindano would be so funny tho. It starts off so civilized and then it’s Ucheshi pulling a Looney Tunes and tricking Pua into agreeing to fight her

-Ucheshi would have waaaay too much fun battling Pua. She treats it as if it were a game

-Like my in-universe hc for her, she’s not a villain by any means. I like to imagine her as a neutral character if anything; an unbiased participant if you will. She respects the circle of life most of the time but she’ll let her crocs take over all the watering holes

-Like in the Savannah Summit, a lot of the animals would assume she’s here to cause trouble when in actuality, she’s pretty chill

-No but her in that episode would be so funny cuz Kion and Simba are talking about her and she just casually butts in like

Kion: I think Ucheshi has more enemies than friends

Ucheshi: *pops her head in* In my defense, so does Bunga

Kion: What the-?!

-not her breaking the fourth wall at one point or another/j

-Don’t be fooled, Makuu still has a role in the au. He’s mostly the one by her side supporting her

-I think Kiburi would be a little more respectful than he is with Makuu. Though their disagreements are still amusing to watch, especially with her using her title as an advantage

“Sorry, who’s the leader here?”

“Ucheshi-“

“Answer the question: who’s the leader?”

“You…”

“What was that?”

“You.”

“Oh really? Didn’t realize! 😁”

-That being said, he still challenges her to a mashindano and loses, which is admittedly still very hard on her

-Instead of Kiburi trying to hurt her like he does with Makuu, he repeatedly tries to get her to become evil

-Hodari would immediately become a part of the float after singing his song. If he goes to Kiburi’s float, it’s probably to try and get the siblings to reunite and make her proud of him

“Hey guys, this little gecko is now a crocodile. You can fight me on that! No, seriously, I dare you to challenge me to a mashindano!”

-Her and Kiburi’s dynamic would definitely stay the same lmao. Imagine her reaction when Kiburi finally challenges her

Kiburi: Or…I could call for a mashindano

Crocodiles: *gasp*

Ucheshi: :0

Ucheshi: Nuh uh

Kiburi: ….Tf you mean “nuh uh”?!

Dustin thinks it’s so cool Eddie’s a vampire now but Eddie has to deal with constantly chronic vampire illness :,))))
