I feel like the kids, especially Air Raid, would absolutely beg starscream to teach them how to fight.

Because skyfire is probably not a very good fighter and starscream is not only in the high guard, but he's THE commander of the high guard. And we've seen the movie, the mech can fight.

But I feel like starscream would be hesitant to teach them because :

1. Fighting is dangerous and they could get hurt or get in trouble.

2. He probably doesn't know them well enough and they don't know him, and I'm pretty sure starscream is a strict teacher and won't go easy on them, and he doesn't want them to hate him if things don't work out

the kids, VERY MUCH AIR RAID, are begging for starscream to show all he knows.. starscream would be hesitant cause wouldnt want them to fight so early on but very much comes to enjoy this bonding time with them. starscream has a lot of skills to teach. i imagine that hes a strict teacher but he would start slowly with air raid in ways that wouldnt be too hard.. and generally teaching him basic things like how to fly.
