so heres some little ideas from it

- Grian actually knew of Scar before the group forms, but he had only heard rumors in prison that Scar was a very very powerful man before his arrest, a legend, even.

- Grian is loyal to scar, because he believes those rumors. but that doesnt mean he blindly follows him. think third life dynamic

- Skizz makes some mistake during their first mission together and curses, immediately followed by Grian telling him to watch his language because Scar hates when people swear

- Grian reveals the rumor/legend about Scar to Impulse and Skizz

- After the crew escapes their third mission with the company, they go on the run for a bit, before getting captured by Gem

- Gem shows a powerful display of skills and captures the crew, telling them that her boss would like a word

- Her boss is none other than doc

- and Doc so kindly~ payed their bail. (did they even have bail??? they thought this was an eternity type deal but, it WOULD explain how four doofuses managed to escape the authorities for so long)

- The crew is now in debt to Doc, which he has them pay off by becoming his delivery crew for his morally questionable business

- this is where its revealed that Gem is Also in Docs debt for Other Reasons and Doc thinks it would be funny to put the responsibility of these idiots on her shoulders

Scorpion is busy in the kitchen, cooking up a meal that smelled positively divine- Ignis might not have been the most eager for holidays, but she was and she'd even convinced Naoto to participate as well. Intermittently the avian would peek in, expecting a taste test of the meal she was preparing; full five course dinner, with wine (and sparkling cider). Meanwhile of course, she'd instructed younger husband to scatter about rose petals and draw a searing hot bath with essential oils and candles. Dinner still had some time, Ra diligently tending to the kitchen duties while avian kissed lovers cheek as soon as he was home, eagerly tugging him to the bath. ' Hey, come on. While she's cooking...I made a nice...bath... ' he looked hopeful, as if pleased he'd done so good. He'd disappeared only long enough for the femme herself to return with a glass of wine for husband, another kiss pressed to his cheek with a faint grin. ' Happy Valentine's Day- he was quite eager to participate this year. ' she purred in turn, before returning to kitchen so that the falcon could come back with a dozen roses, offering them to his husband with a light flush upon cheeks.

he hadn't forgotten what date it was. how could he? ignis of all people. the truth was, he was just... just a bit discouraged from actually actively participating and celebrating. every year prior, his husband wasn't that keen on these antics, and so his best expectations were to take their wife out for a nice dinner; the bird never minded being alone for a while every now and then. especially if he could avoid all that lovey-doveyness that the canine was often prone to. he knew the avian didn't prefer it, he did, and he didn't hold it against it.

it was also rather unfortunate that no matter the kind of holiday it might have been, his job wasn't the one to give off days like that.

so that already meant less time spent with his mates; but at least along the way home he stopped to purchase a couple roses ( a yellow one for rashida, and a blue one for naoto ) as well as a small box of dark, rich chocolates for the scorpion. something more unique was picked out for the falcon— a small bouquet of edible roses made from curled pieces of bacon on a stick.

he hadn't expected such a warm greeting upon coming home, so taken aback by it, in fact, that all these pretty things that he'd gotten for his partners were a poorly kept secret. " whoah, careful... " he warned, the moment the falcon had all but draped himself all over his neck. " hey, " a small noise, freeing one of his hands to hold the other's and give it a small tug, smiling with the kiss to his cheek. " i know you don't really care about these sentimentalities, but... it matters to me and i love you dearly, so i wanted to get you a little something for valentine's... " explanation was almost sheepish, complete with the smile to match, as he handed the younger the blue rose and then the edible ones aswell. he hoped that they'd at least amuse the avian.

" oh? you've drawn me a bath, nao, really? will you join me for it? where's ra? " a small slew of questions, but at least the one, he could already answer himself— if the pleasant smell coming from the kitchen wasn't enough of a tell for the hellhound. he wasn't allowed to confirm for himself, however, barely having any time to shed his coat as he was so eagerly pulled into the bathroom; so much that the rest of his gifts had to be momentarily set aside on the washing machine once they were in the spatious bathroom... but even then, the bird had promptly left again, like he was in a hurry. it had left the hound positively confused.

" ah, there you are, " he hummed out affectionatelly, once he felt the femme's much smaller hands upon himself. he chuckled with yet another kiss pressed to his cheek, feeling so absolutely showered in love and adoration. with a humbled kind of smile, he accepted the offered glass of wine and took a sip. " oh, was he now? every other year with me he just whined and complained about it... " he tried to say it jokingly, but it was obvious that it wasn't a very convincing joke. " oh, but! i got something for you, too, " he cleared his throat, wanting to salvage it all despite their husband's earlier excited pulling and yanking on his frame, by offering the second half of his own present to the demoness; the glass of wine replacing the gifts upon the washing machine.

" i know you really like these, " voice was soft, nearly a whisper, as he handed her the flower and the chocolates— her favorite brand, he knew. " happy valentine's day, ra... and thank you. for... you know. taming him a bit. " he so nearly followed it with a question of what was the plan next— should they enjoy a shared bath first, or was the dinner almost done? a question he didn't get the opportunity to ask, not with naoto suddenly popping his head into the bathroom's threshold again, this time with a large bouquet of roses. " oh, that's so nice, geráki... " he breathed out, his heart... touched. in the most tender of ways.

roses were accepted eagerly, happily, keeping them in one hand while the other managed to snake itself around the waists of both of his mates, pulling them close to his frame though carefully keeping the roses away from harm. " i love you both. so, so much... " words, a promise, were then sealed with a deep kiss to each of their lips— but ladies first, of course.

I just started recently doodling this between working on redline episode 2. not sure what to name it yet, but I'm open to suggestions.

my only ideas for this so far:

they live somewhere in the Appalachian mountains so they are hillbillies

they have a farm

splinter used to be a country music singer and he was mutated by draxum when he was on tour in New York.

they live near a small town and no one cares that they're green, i think I might give them jobs around town

donnie is the only turtle with a vehicle, a truck. the others bum rides off him.

They still have their mystic powers it's just altered a bit:

raph still has his giant projection which is a big help around the farm

mikey still has the mystic hands

leo can teleport he just doesnt have swords, he can use any object like a wand to open a portal

donnie can create tools like in the little comic up there he made his fishing rod

this is all concept rn ig
