Crk New Jam AU

What happens in the future when the ancients are too old to be the heroes? Who claims the souljam and is that decision even up to them?

the answer is no. It's not up to them. The souljams have minds of their own, in a way. They know what's best for them and they will choose their suitors. That much was already expected by the ancients and vast majority of the cookies.

What they didn't expect was for the souljams new holders to be Gingerbrave and his friends.

typically, one would believe the souljams would've chosen someone from their adversary's kingdoms. So when it settled uon these five random cookies, A LOT ended up changing.

Question is, how will the new soul jam holders cope with their new responsibilities. And how will they deal with the dangers to come?

General information about them

Gingerbrave- Holder of the light of bravery. Upon becoming an ancient, he was the most excited. it had been unexpected. His weapon sharpened at the end, so he uses it like more of a sword. Although he got WL's souljam, he's the leader of the group.

Strawberry cookie- Holder of the light of compassion. She was by far the most surprised in the group. She had been unsure at first, but her adversary encouraged her. She had also grown wings in the process.

Wizard cookie- Holder of the light of wisdom. The surprise was a little less dramatic for him but still. Along with the new power, his staff changed a bit. Not to mention all the sudden knowledge that flooded his mind.

Custard cookie III- Holder of the light of justice. Excited? Obviously! He knew he'd become something great, but this was a whole new level. He might not be a king but he's gonna be a hero. A chance to save innocent cookies. He won't let anyone down

Chili pepper cookie- Holder of the light of protection. She was a little iffy about it though. Her protecting others? She wasn't sure what to make of it until Golden Cheese cookie gave her a new view. The cookies are more valuable than gold. And she always protects her gold.

New Au idea!

Basically what this Au is about is what if the Beasts Souls were split in 2 with their Soul Jams, the purified (sorta) halves being separated from their evil, corrupted halves.

Walking up not long after Dark Flour War and the disappearance of the Ancient Heroes, these wandering Souls now wander Earthbread, having gaps in their memory and seeking to know more about their past, knowing only their own names.

The stronger their corrupted halves become, the more their own power will grow, and the more memories they will recover, some have settled down under new identities, while others still wander still, mind still to jumbled to rest.

Burning Spice Cookie now lives as Paprika Cookie in Spice Desert of Beast-Yeast.

Eternal Sugar Cookie has found refuge in the Crème Republic as a Clothing Designer under the name Sugarcane Cookie.

Mystic Flour Cookie, now a denizen of the Dark Cacao Kingdom, works as the head Nurse within the Black Citadel.

Silent Salt Cookie, now a wandering Paladin named Rock Salt Cookie, defends villages from Cake Monsters, and later joining a Caravan heading from town to town.

And finally, Shadow Milk Cookie, who had stumbled upon the Cookie Kingdom during his theatric Travels as a Fortune Teller and Puppet Show master (he definitely scamming people lol), finds a home within the small developing Kingdom, and later becomes the Caretaker (Dad) of GingerBrave, Strawberry and Wizard.

Au Facts:

- the Corrupted Halves of the Beasts and the Purified halves do not know of each others existence, though after the Beasts are set free their memories may end up clashing and merging with each other.

- The Purified halves still have a portion of their original power, but it is a limited reserve that needs to recharge due to not having the Soul Jam or their full strength.

- Shadow Milks (the purified half) mischievous personality still remains, he’s just a bit more tame and good willed.

- Paprika spends most of his time with the Kulfis as their protection against the Wild Spices.

- Rock Salt is bit more talkative then their Corrupted half.

- Mystic Flour (Purified half) is a bit of a workaholic and tends to overwork herself.

- Sugarcanes favourite drink is Latte, she loves drinking it after a stressful day of work.

HELLO SO I PRESENT AMNESIAC AU

so you see, i was minding my business, drawing and looking at cookies and how everyone has their own cool aus with awesome designs and i went "well im not very good at designing but i Love putting characters in Situations"

this au is mostly focused on shadowvanilla so dont be too hopeful I'll get into the other cookies besides their little circle, im ill for gay yaoi only okay

So! motions to comic above, amnesia smilk time! let me elaborate

Pure vanilla fucked up BIG TIME, in that he maybe ventured out to beast yeast alone to try and find out more about the beasts and a way to stop them, as people with a savior complex have a habit of doing. Maybe, perhaps, also at the same time, smilk was getting the workings of his new dough body done and sensing pv was nearby decided to take the opportunity to torment him a little, yknow he cant help himself! he needs to see him

a nasty little fight and confrontation in some old structures of smilk (or at the spire) result in pv using a strange spell he spotted in the surrounding papers and documents, and .... accidentally cracks smilk's soul jam! hehe, oops!

and also sealing his memories. double oops. damn, what are you gonna do now pv?

well he cant leave confused smilk alone here, and itd honestly be best the other beasts and dark enchantress dont drag him back there in this state, so he offers a hand.

"Come with me. We can help you, I'll make sure you're okay."

a memory-less smilk is confused by this but... he's already grabbing the other cookie's hand before he realizes it. It'll probably be fine, something about this cookie... makes something in him feel okay.

taps forehead, im still working everything out of course, and i WILL be cursing all of you with sketchy stuff about it when I'm able, i need more time to figure out smilk's behaviors without the soul jam and corruption

of course I'm always of the mind that pre-corruption smilk was kind of a rat and rude but how exactly is the real question!! how bad was it before the corruption exacerbated the negative qualities of knowledge and his personality
