— pure vanilla cookie would initially be saddened by it, but he understands your circumstances and reasons (unless you're lying) and afterwards stays a great friend nonetheless.

— if you're one to fight (as in you get aggressive thinking he's still trying to pursue you after you reject vanilla), he'd rather sit you down and sit down after to discuss it. he then sets it down that he accepts his rejection and is more than happy to stay friends with you.

— in all honesty, i can see him treating you and his feelings for you just like how he treated white lily and his feelings for her when she friendzoned him. wondering if he still likes you but saying nothing about it, treating you more gently and specially than the others and getting more defensive when you're attacked. he won't pull his whole not-eating shtick because you didn't go missing or anything like turning into an evil cookie, but he definitely still feels something for you.

— being friends with him is easy because he understands you rejected him and won't push anything upon you especially if you've found someone else (he's def. not the type to do shit like that, it's pure vanilla cmon).

— possibly has attachment issues after getting rejected by both you and lily and having feelings for them afterwards for an awkward amount of time while they still think of him as friends.

— congratulations, you're the vice president of the "i friendzoned pure vanilla cookie" club. white lily is the awkward president. get in line.

— hollyberry cookie 🍓 ᯓ★

— hollyberry would stay jolly and accept the rejection. she doesn't pursue you anymore, and for a period she's a little disheartened by it. but it passes by quickly and she's still a great friend to be around.

— ... only that she's still wondering where she went wrong to this day. she pushed it away and treats you like how she treats everyone, but inside she's still wondering why that happened, because everything seemed to be going smoothly. she thinks of you as a close friend now, but still, what happened? where did she go wrong?

— if you were the type to fight, she's quick on her defenses and makes you talk it out with her, even if it's in front of a crowd. the same way she made dark cacao cookie come to his senses after he attacked the consul of the creme republic. heck, she might even use her shield if you're that aggressive. but know at the end of the day, hollyberry will have you sat down as if she's your therapist and will convince you to talk it out with her. this is an inevitable canon event.

— still a great friend nonetheless and accepts her rejection wholeheartedly, so accepting that your friendship with her doesn't get ruined at all! unless you have a grudge against her for the crush (...), nothing gets tarnished and you are truly just a friend after the whole fiasco. also, you most likely will end up with a conflicted hollyberry if you start loving her after she's convinced herself that it wasn't meant to be, so prepare for karma if you start having feelings for her again.

— but sometimes she falls back into this spiteful mindset that keeps her wondering why you didn't choose her and all those thoughts. that being said, after a period of time and maybe a talk or multiple talks with the light of passion, she does get over it and accepts it just wasn't meant to be. still, she doesn't let that tarnish her friendship with you and never brings it up unless you mention it first. but even then, she's more like "haha, yes, i once had a crush on [them], my dear friend! but worry not, i won't push [them] if [they] really don't want it!"; in the sense that she acknowledges it but doesn't push for anything to happen if you really don't want it.

— dark cacao cookie 🍫 ᯓ★

— dark cacao cookie is a strict and protective ruler, yes. but outside of his kingly demeanor, he's actually pretty emotionally vulnerable. always on edge, miserable even, pissed off, near aggressive, nervous, anxious.

— when faced with rejection, he's... silent. with an unreadable expression on his face. but under that unreadable face of his, he feels... betrayed. perhaps by his own resolution, that he let his heart and soul be vulnerable for someone who won't even accept his love. but he can't bring himself to blame you, he doesn't have reigns over you nor does he truly want to.

— "... i see." from there, you either leave on your own, leaving an awkward but oddly sorrowful silence as dark cacao just... stands there. he silently accepts the rejection but not in a hollyberry kinda way, in a "this was inevitable, i can't change how a cookie like them thinks anyway" kinda way.

— he regrets ever having his heart out in the open, for relaxing for even a moment for a little laugh to escape his mask for even just a second only because it was you and that he didn't know he would experience such a thing as he has right now.

— though he does get over you and the whole "embarrassing situation" at SOME point, it has long lasting effects on the way he percieves you in the same way he felt about clotted cream. he's more distant and silent around you, and its clear he does not open up or laugh with you/smile around you the same way he used to when he liked you before the rejection.

— he's less enthusiastic around you and wayy more distant than he usually is, which leads to his subjects (i mean like crunchy chip and caramel arrow maybe) being less than trusting of you. with the way he stays silent with a pensive expression, perhaps a side eye or two, it leave you and the other ancients to wonder what happened to him to have him so affected.

— golden cheese cookie 🧀 ᯓ★

— "what?! am i hearing this right?! you're rejecting me?! golden cheese cookie?! the goddess of eternal gold herself?!"

— that pretty much sums up her reaction to being rejected, widened eyes, heightened speech and all. honestly, she's just in denial. you really rejected her? did you not like the cheese dishes she served you, or the tricks she did in the republic just for you? maybe you didn't see them or...

— yeah no, you definitely didn't reject her, she's just hearing thi— ...oh, you did reject her.

— you were the first to leave. she definitely made efforts to make you stay, trying to figure out where she went wrong before you had to say it for yourself. you just left, leaving a shocked and exasperated golden cheese there to stand. she doesn't stand for long because she leaves and migrates away after like a few minutes of getting over her shock.

— truly and to her, it was a reality check. i mean, you do respect her as an ancient hero, as a god, as a queen... just not as your girlfriend. when you've lived for years and years surrounded by people who love and worship you, it's stunning to witness, and not in a good way.

— i can't see her being the aggressive type (or atleast not the type to be violent), but if you were to get aggressive, she'd definitely get a little riled up. she's more than capable of fighting back if you do attack (even then i'm sure you're still in the right mind to not attack an ancient hero with soul jam and years of experience fighting). she's more so relying and hoping that her attacks and shouts/demands/whatever comes out of her mouth will bring you to the right mind.

— truth be told, being next to you even as a friend is a bit uncomfortable for golden cheese, but she gets over it... eventually. she's just more awkward but more normal than most. she and dark cacao are probably the most affected by the rejection but it isnt much to say cuz the other three are literally 99.99% normal even after the rejection.

— white lily cookie 🕊️ ᯓ★

— we know the soft, gentle and thoughtful white lily cookie has little to no regards about love in her life. she's more concerned about why cookies exist instead of enjoying her existence, after all. but what happens to her when her heart ends up being captured by a cookie?

— it wasn't her intention to make her feelings clear, goodness, no! but maybe she wasn't as good at hiding her feelings as she thought (but maybe that was because she was too caught up in it...). that little frown, the way the shine and love in her eyes disappeared and was replaced with regret and sorrow, even the lily of her head wilted a bit...

— lily felt truly heart-rended. as anyone else would, of course, but she has never fallen in love before. she's seen it, and she may have been curious enough to try love potions on herself, but it never felt the same as the true love she's seen. and now, when she's fallen head over heels with a cookie, they reject her love...

— see, this is literally why she friendzoned vanilla.

— not gonna lie, white lily would be a little frightened if you were the aggressive type. it's nothing she could handle herself, she was an ancient hero, after all.

— just like dark cacao, she regrets ever opening up her heart to others. she should've stayed in her greenhouse, researching the origins of cookies and all... and yet, here she is, crying to her lilies who have also cried tears of their own. how pitiful, an ancient hero sobbing over a rejection... it's an experience surely everyone has experienced, but why was she crying over you? she's an ancient hero, she mustn't be here kneeling over soggy lilies sobbing over a cookie her heart has fallen for...

— alas, even if she were able to befriend you again (or even talk to you again after the rejection), she wouldn't push anything against you if you truly didn't love her. of course she'd still feel dejected over it, but she wouldn't push anything between you two. she'll take anything she can get, even if it's just a conversation as friends or even less. just please don't be her enemy, anything but that... her heart can't take fighting the cookie she loves the most.... how ironic.

Любимый запах ванили и нежные объятия. Такие тёплые. Впервые Пьюр уснул обнимая трикстера. Тот, в свою очередь, старался даже не дышать, чтобы лишний раз не стать поводом для пробуждения. Глядя на парня, Милк постепенно задумался о том, что он похож на котёнка. Такого одинокого и измученного. Ему явно нужно была ласка и любовь. Чтобы кто-то по приходу домой встречал и заботился. Дворец-не особо удачное место для проживания, тем более одному. Пьюр лишь с недавних пор перестал жить один.

Шедоу взял пушистое синее покрывало и осторожно укрыл им Ваниллу. На лице второго расцвела мягкая улыбка, кажется, направление верное. Взгляд упал на светлые волосы, что изрядно распушились и перепутались за этот тяжёлый рабочий день.

"-Вот бы их потрогать",-подумалось Милку. А собственно, что мешает ему воплотить свою мысль? Парнишка спит, так что неловкости точно не возникнет. Он продолжал контролировать каждое своё движение и осторожно опустил руку на макушку Ваниллы. Холодной ладонью он тут же почувствовал теплоту и мягкость волос лекаря. Нервно сглотнув, трикстер не остановился. Он стал потихоньку гладить возлюбленного. Тут уже никакая книга не будет интересна..

После этого арта мой стилус умер, вот же блядство...

Pure vanilla - losing his mind and sanity. Cacao - Fallen into despair watching everybody who he swore to protect just got thanos snapped into dust Holly - I have a prediction that she stand hopeless to do anything and watching Pitaya become slave ( like, eternal sugar is sloth, so I guess she using creatures and monsters to do her fighting and bidding.) Golden cheese - yeah I can see her witnesses her trauma or witness everything she own and care are nothing but dust again. Or Burning spice could just destroy everything she love infront of her, could be both White lily - seeing cookies murdered one by one. (Somehow had an idea where she kept on blaming Silent salt for the murders, until in the end, she slowly learned that the one who been killing cookies and bringing war and despair is her and only herself. Not silent salt at all. He just there to watch her broken down and destroying herself without him having to do anything at all.) Or see elder fairy die again infront of her and disappointed. Possibilities on her and lots of it

Affogato is always so deceptive; in a way that makes it hard to figure out his true emotions.

Yet now, when he fails to meet your gaze and a deep blush engulfs his face, you know exactly how he feels.

It's unlike him to let his mask fall, though not unwelcomed. He is finally acting vulnerable infront of someone, though he isn't sure if it's willingly or not.

Earlier, you two were talking as per usual. He'd make some sugary remarks here and there. It was all very ordinary.

"Oh my, are those new garments of yours made from satin? What a fine choice~!" He smiled; deceptively sweet. "I do think the color suits you quite nicely."

Your gaze softened, and you'd inch closer to him.

"When you say things like that, it makes me want to fall in love with you. "

His eyes widened slightly, and his snide front seemed to falter. "I beg your pardon-?"

And that lead to your current predicament; with him blushing profoundly and struggling to meet your gaze.

"Ahaha, surely you jest my liege! You really shouldn't make jokes like that- it's not-"

"Affogato." You'd cup the side of his face and brought his gaze to you, snapping him out of his panicked rambling.

He seemed so nervous. It was... new to say the least.

You smiled softly at him. "Can I kiss you..?"

His breath hitched in that moment. "Well... yes."

You brought his lips to yours before pulling away soon after.

He averted his gaze from you. "How embarrassing. I should have been the one to make the first move..."

Pure Vanilla had invited you out to the garden, as he does routinely every weekend. Most of the time, you two merely catch up; and this time seemed no different.

But it was different.

In fact, even Pure Vanilla himself had been acting strangely this week.

Gifting items more often, finding excuses to talk with you, and even seeming to gaze absent mindedly when he thought you weren't looking.

You wondered what it was all about.

"So, how has your week been?" Pure Vanilla asked while fondling with some flowers.

You were sat on a bench nearby. Gradually, you began reciting some things about your week. Once you had finished, Pure Vanilla sat down on the bench next to you.

"That all sounds very lovely.." he noted, though his mind was seemingly elsewhere.

You hadn't noticed it when it happened, but in an instant, he had placed a flower in your hair, fingers gently running along your jaw.

"You look so beautiful..." he said, though he was musing to himself more than you. "Have I told you that before?"

You shook your head. "I don't believe so.."

He smiled softly. "Then I should say it more often."

Your cheeks began to flare, and Pure Vanilla sweetly tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

"May I have this kiss?" He questioned.

You nodded, and after what felt like ages, he had closed to gap.

His lips were soft against yours, and you had only just now realized just how much you fantasied about this moment.

About how it would feel to kiss someone.

About how it would feel to kiss him.

He laughs once again.

You furrow your brows. "Liar..."

He gasps and places a hand over his heart, acting as if he were offended. "Me? A liar? No way! Have I ever lied to you?"

You attempt to hold in your disappointment.

Key word: attempt.

"Oh. My. Goodness. You're honestly so obnoxious. How do people even deal with you? It's just-" you behind rambling on about how much you hate him and how if you could, you'd rid him of his ability to speak.

Shadow Milk seems to entertain it for the first minute or so before getting bored and shushing you.

"Gosh you talk a lot. Can you shut up for one second?"

You scoff. "Make me."

He smiles, seemingly accepting the challenge.

In an instant, your chin is between his fingers as he puls you in for a kiss.

It's over as soon as it began.

Your face flushes instantly and you're at a loss for words.

If it weren't for Shadow Milk's laughter, you would have thought it never happened.

"You should have seen the look on your face!"

He laughs for a little while longer before calming down.

"Well I'll let you process this, doll. See you later!" He dashes put of the door before you can stop him.

You can't look him in the eye for the next week or so.
