craziest thought: what if arkham knight and redhood are twins?

RH is Jason the older twin, AK is Jayce the younger twin

They both were adopted by Bruce and became Robin and Redstart respectively, Batman's Wonder Twins. The twins met Reader in Gotham Academy, saving them from a bunch of guys asking for your number. From there, the three became a tight knit group.

Then, disaster struck when Robin and Redstart had to seperate for a while because of different missions. Jason stayed in Gotham, Jayce went to a different country.

Jason found a lead about his mother and track it down only to get captured by the Joker.

When Jayce came back, it was to a home with a dead twin. Filled with anger, he tries to get revenge only to be stopped by Batman. Tensions were high, Jayce became even more angry and frustrated at his family. The only good thing in his life now was you, but your presence was not enough to calm his rage. Maybe in another world, if you tried harder, you could prevent Jayce from taking the path of revenge but this world is not that world.

Just like his twin, Jayce got caught by the Joker and went through hell.

"Two birds in one stone! Or should I say crowbar?" Joker laughs, a bloody crowbar in his hand.

Batman's spirit has never been as crushed as this moment, watching the video Joker sent to him of Jayce being tortured with the same crowbar that killed Jason.

If they can get you on their side, doesn't that prove that they're in the right? It's a mockery of how they used to argue over your opinions as children. But none of you are kids anymore, and now there's a war with too many sides in Gotham that you're stuck in the middle of.

And you hate that they expect you to choose, you're angry too. You don't want to choose– wouldn't want to even if they were the same as they were before. Ethan/Benji. Definitely the first thing you should read after watching the movies. This is my favorite kind of one-shot, the kind that manages to convey the weight of history like a 60k fic in such a compressed space. When I talk about using sex scenes to convey something about the characters, perfect example is the set dressing around the one here where the title drop happens. Way to say so fucking much about the characters through sheer implication.

The way it portrays Ethan and Benji as a unit, a foregone conclusion even they themselves haven't quite figured that out, is perfect. Also I love the way Ethan handles the bed situation, the low grade annoyance he has at the repeated question. Benji, get a clue, my man.

After Fallout, Benji thinks Ethan and Ilsa are together and he only wants to be happy for them, even it kills him to see Ethan with someone else. He's got to try to get over Ethan. But some things are just impossible. Mutual jealousy, mutual pining, cute texting, and a happy ending, of course.

Ethan/Benji. LOOK, THE WAY TO MY HEART IS ETHAN BEING JEALOUS AND NOT HANDLING IT WELL. Also the fact this fic acknowledges Ethan's emotional growth from Fallout, chef's kiss. But really the moment when Ilsa's like "Seems we missed the show" and Ethan says "I wish we had" ETHAN OH MY GOD. Also the subtle way Benji is needling Ethan a little, subconsciously at least-- it's good!

And because Ethan does know what it feels like, he doesn't question him any further. If Benji needs to spend time with him to feel better, he won't deny him. Takes place after Fallout. Ethan is recovering and Benji goes to live with him to help

Ethan/Benji. A longer one, hell yeah. This one truly wallows in the aftermath of Fallout, which is where my brain lives 90% of the time, so I appreciate it. Also Ilsa pointing out why the fuck did Luther give her that speech but not Benji-- finally someone said it. But really this fic is about Benji and it breaks my heart.

Ethan/Benji. This is the one with the INCREDIBLE passage about Benji realizing why Ethan's never been slapped for pulling the fake kissing thing on missions. Also I love how... this feels like a date. To Ethan, this is a fun mission with his Benji, and it feels like it. Benji's voice here is pitch perfect, feels like its right out of Rogue Nation.

Ethan and Benji have to pretend to be a married couple for a mission. Well, Ethan and Benji are already a married couple, but now they have to pretend to be pretending to be a married couple for a mission, and the rest of the team has to help them keep their secret. It'll definitely all work out fine. Probably. Hopefully.

Ethan/Benji. Listen. This one is hilarious.

THERE, there's some stuff to get you started, folks! and you can always hit up mine. I have periphery (in which everyone Benji works with is a little in love with him and Ethan just doesn't deal well), all i need is a certain trigger (in which Ilsa and Benji are in the Syndicate and Ethan trips into romancing them both), and the big AU you'll need a new name to survive this (in which Benji is Ethan's physical therapist and a lot of things start to change)

Anyway from what I understand three universes have an event happening in them and Star Swap is a series… except there's also an OLDER Jotaro here in Part 4! which would be the same Jotaro that experienced part 4 as Josuke! Which is causing problems in my brain.

… I was thinking it's either Joseph and Giono is the exception -Thanks to Hermit Purple Rrequiem- and swaps actually jumps across universes making Older Part 4 Jotaro have that Canon backstory.

to clarify the universe shenanigans of everything: I've always been thinking that each "set" exists in its own universe. 1 and 6, 2 and 5, and then 3 and 4 all exist in their own sort of "pocket universe" just so we don't need to keep track of of all the inevitable changes and how they influence each other

that being said, funnily enough what you've brought up with Jotaro is REALLY close to what I've been imagining too!

Jotaro is So Fucking Lost when he wakes up back home. He feels like complete and utter shit and is covered in more bandages than he's ever had before. The last thing he remembers is his mom leaving after visiting him in the prison cell after he tried to shoot himself with Star Platinum

only...... when did Star Platinum have a name? When had it stopped being an evil spirit?

when had he stopped being scared of it?

Kakyoin and Joseph are of course INCREDIBLY worried by Jotaro's apparent and very sudden shift in personality. And of course, this panic only multiplies when they find they think Jotaro's stand has been changed as well. They immediately think it's a Stand attack......

but then Holly steps forward and denies this. That this is how Jotaro normally acts and more importantly, that she remembers seeing Star in the jail

now, technically this might be bending the rules a little bit, but I think it would be interesting to give Holly some..... memory weirdness. Maybe we can tie it into her Stand somehow, or maybe it's just For The Plot, but Holly has two distinct sets of memories before she collapsed from her illness

One where Jotaro comes home with her, quiet and awkward and open in a way he hadn't been since he was a child. And another where he refused to leave and shot himself in an attempt to goad a spirit hovering over his shoulder

this then raises the incredibly uncomfortable idea that the Jotaro they'd gone to Egypt with was the imposter. That there had been a fake in their midst the entire time and they never knew. Was he working with Dio? Another group? What was his goal? Why had he done it? And of course, the biggest question of all, where was Jotaro the entire time and why doesn't he remember?

because it's obvious Jotaro was somewhere. He has skills and knowledge he hadn't before. He's different, he's grown in some ways, but has receded in others

Electricity and loud sounds terrify him in a way that can't be described as simple fear

they do what they can to help and figure things out, but they can never find any leads. It actually during these investigations that Jotaro decides to start working with the Speedwagon Foundation on the side and "rekindles" his friendships with the Crusaders

(he finds himself drawn to Kakyoin at times. Or to be more specific, he's drawn to his Stand. The colors and shapes and eyes all feel so tantalizingly familiar, and sometimes he finds himself talking to the being as if expecting a response)

years go by, and the fog around his memories stays. It bothers him less as more time passes and he makes new memories with people who had a headstart on their relationship, but there's always a quiet niggling in the back of his mind about what could've happened

and then a decade later he finds a boy with a different face but identical Stand and temperament to match

I actually really like your interpretation of that line about his ex wife !! I left it pretty open so people can hc whatever they want :3c In my personal hc, he really did love her immensely, but he kept hurting her unintentionally by never being around, never giving her what she needed because of his work, etc. ​Just one of those "it wasn't meant to be" relationships. (Also, other random hc, but Nik was here at Price's wedding, he got along really well with his ex wife, but everything about it broke his fucking heart over and over again. Oops 💔)

And I'm so glad you pointed out the banters during the smut scene !! It's my favorite thing to do honestly !! About the languages in TWST

Since i'm a bit of a language nerd, i like to think about the languages in TWST and who would speak which one in my spare time instead of being normal. I didn't do a whole bunch of research for this one and am mostly pulling things out of my brain so by all means let me know if I made a mistake anywhere or missed something.

(This is why you'll get a rare theory post from me about this instead of my usual fics 🤭)

It's shown that some real languages exist in TWST canon like french (spoken by Rook) and by the fact that Yuu can communicate with the characters just fine even tho they're in a different world, implying the language they speak is known to us.

Which brings me to my first point, the language everyone collectively speaks in NRC (and other big gatherings of mixed cultures) is english. Much like the real world, english is considered the "universal language" in TWST and is the one most people learn as their second language in schools. The game is in japanese so the japanese players can understand it, obviously, but they do imply that a japan-esque country exists through the new years events so I would say they speak japanese exclusively there and english in general.

And yes, this does mean I think some characters have accents when speaking english.

There's also other languages that are implied by the fact that Ruggie learned 10 languages just to negotiate with people in them, though it isn't known if they're real languages or fictional ones. Point is, there's at least ten.

Now, to the fun part. I based a lot of my HCS on existing Disney movie native language videos and theories but some are just my own personal thoughts hehe

Riddle, Trey, Chenya and Ace all speak british english. This one's pretty simple, Alice in wonderland takes place in England so that makes the choice obvious.

Cater is from the Shaftlands and his family did move around a lot when he was a kid so giving him an exact language is sorta hard because the Shaftlands are so varied in culture (and language too, by that logic). But for simplicity I'll just say he knows some other european languages aside from English. For this same reason I don't really think he has an accent.

Leona's mother tongue is Zulu since the Lion King was dubbed in Zulu, making it the first african language to get a full-feature dub made for it (aside from egyptian arabic). That wasn't exactly relevant but I just wanted to mention it. But since he's a prince and has access to a lot of education from an early age, he learned other languages as a child including English, which is why he doesn't have an accent.

Ruggie also speaks Zulu, but considering the thing I mentioned earlier, I think he also speaks other african languages like Xhosa or Swahili or Fulani as well as some non-african languages to some degree. I do think he speaks English with an accent, since he speaks differently to the other characters even in the japanese dub. (I know it was most likely done to make him sound more hyena-like i guess but let me have my moment!!)

Jack speaks German since he comes from the same neighborhood as Vil (I'll elaborate more in Vil's part). I do like to think he has a slight accent though hehe.

For Jade, Floyd and Azul I had a bit of trouble deciding on what language to assign them (by that I mean I'm still undecided), but maybe I would assign them a more northern language since they come from a northern part of the coral sea??? then again languages on the surface might not have a bearing on languages in the sea, especially since humans and merfolk couldn't interact well throughout history...

Kalim and Jamil are both obvious, they speak Arabic. Not much to say here haha.

Vil speaks German since Snow White takes place in Germany AND his surname is German. He doesn't have much of an accent if any at all because he learned english early on to be able to film movies in english for a wider global appeal.

Now for Epel I could really have fun. I know saying this kinda retcons the fact that his dialect is in the same language as the one everyone speaks (so English), but I believe he speaks in Plattdeutsch or Low German which can be quite difficult to understand when spoken in it's true form. He could speak a totally different dialect of a different language but I went w German because of continuity and also I feel like it'd make for a funnier dynamic with Vil. Defo has a bit of an accent.

Neige is a native french speaker simply going off his french name, though I do think he knows how to speak german as well (mostly because I want my "snow white takes place in germany" copium for Neige). I don't think it's been confirmed where Neige is from tho.

Now for Rook, since he was born in Sunset Savana, he also speaks Zulu as his first language. He's a mysterious fellow and all and could have learned french for a different motive, but I have a far more interesting HC. Since he's Neige's biggest fanboy, he learned french because Neige speaks it and he associates Neige with beauty. (and also haven't we all tried learning korean for our kpop bias at some point???)

Idia and Ortho are another obvious one, the language being Greek. Hercules takes place in Greece, obviously, and the Island of Woe still has some Greek architecture so I'd assume the language stayed too. Idia doesn't have much of an accent because being chronically online gives u exposure to so much english you don't retain an accent (assuming he's been on the internet since he was a little boy). Ortho? Maybe? Idia could have removed an accent on purpose when making a voicebox for Ortho or he could have kept it in for accuracy sake.

Malleus and the Diasomnia gang are another hard one to place. Sleeping Beauty takes place in France, but somehow saying they speak french feels wrong. I feel like they speak some fantasy language that doesn't exist. I would say give them the language where fae originate in folklore if I had to give them a real language but SOOOO many different folklores have them that it'd be hard to pick one.

Rollo speaks French, really obvious.

Angry rant ahead. I've been holding back on this one but I woke up at 3am this morning to prep for a virtual astronomy conference in a European time zone next week so whoops it's what I actually feel in words instead of in vague reblogs.

Just as I have never forgiven the people who caused 2016 to happen, I will *never* forgive the Beltway media, podcast bros, pollsters who think they're the goddamn oracles at Delphi, and fauxgressive fucking idiots for this.

First of all, if I here one sniveling whining "But Kamala is a cawwwwwp-" -- if you do not posses the common sense to understand that a chaotic, open convention where the disunity of the Democratic party is on full national display would be a stake through the heart of the campaign -- WHOEVER is chosen -- then sorry but you aren't smart enough to comment on this!!! Sorry if that's fucking mean but it's true. For once the left (and I mean from the center to the wall, the whole thing yes) collectively needs to shut the fuck up, get in line, and focus on one goddamn thing for the next three and a half months.

Second, I had a much longer post with plots and everything I was going to make about the last Canadian election, but I'll make it short now. This is about *polls*, aka the "reason" why this happened (it's not, it was the media forcing the issue by refusing to show the public anything else about Biden and his accomplishment, but anyway...). Feel free to skip (but there's a cat at the bottom for anyone who actually reads my rantings), the tl;dr is that you should not trust any poll more than a week out from the election because the average person is a fucking moron.

So polling just before the previous election was called (Canadian elections are different, they can happen before the 4 year mark if the PM decides) all showed a healthy Liberal (center-left) lead. Probably majority if it holds. "If an election was held today, who would you vote for?", that was the question. But then the Liberals call the election and SURPRISE, guess what happens? They tumble in the polls so drastically they fall below the Conservatives (right) in overall vote share almost immediately. They held onto a minority in parliament because of how our systems works (we have 5 seat holding parties), but still, they took a huge hit. Why? Did some scandal happen the week after the election was called? Did the Conservatives promise everyone a free puppy if they won? No.

No, nothing happened. The reason why the Liberals fell in the polls was that people were mad that they called an early election. Despite the fact that the polls that some of the same people definitely took asked the question "If an election were held today, who would you vote for?" I guess the average person didn't have enough brain cells to rub together to understand that if an election is happening then the Liberals would have necessarily called an election. I know this sounds circular and stupid but that is literally it!! A bunch of people said "Yeah I'd vote for the Liberals if an election was happening today. Oh the Liberals (the only people who CAN) called an election, I don't like that, so I'm not going to vote Liberal."

So miss me with literally any poll that is not a week out from the actual election event. They are all nonsense. It turns out that you cannot predict human stupidity to a statistically significant degree.

We are *also* in a regime where the only thing that really matters now is turnout, and turnout is much harder to poll than voter preference, so that's another kick against polling.

I don't really have a coherent ending for this. I'm not in total doom mode because a lot of things can still turn out ok, technically. But I still remember the feeling I felt when a huge portion of American said "actually, saying you can assault women and grab them by their pussies any time you want is actually not disqualifying for being president, but we're going to make up a bunch of bullshit to explain why we're not voting for Hillary" and I still do not trust most of you because of this.

You have once chance to not totally fuck this up. Treat it seriously.

Like I said already, I graduated high school this year. So naturally, because I'm somehow both lazy and busy at the same time, I don't draw anything for the occasion like I wanted to until the literal DAY before I start college. (Yeah, I'm not joking- my first day of college is tomorrow.)

Just because I've come this far since I joined Wattpad as a 7th grader doesn't mean I know how I did it. Oh, wait- yes I do. I do know. I guess I don't know my own brain. Anyway, it's because I had, and still do, a burning desire to reach out to you and tell you about all the silly little stuff I had on my mind. I also wanted to get to know people all around the cyber world who liked the same stuff I liked. (I hope I can find someone who does in my art college.) I wanted y'all to know that Unikitty and Minecraft: Story Mode were (and still are) my two most favorite things ever. For months, I begged my parents for it, and I eventually got it for Christmas. Over the years, I've come to like more shows, games and movies. I even realized that I liked doing musical theater, too. Since I joined Wattpad, I've expanded my posting to DeviantArt, this site, YouTube, and more.  I've probably told you all of this many times before, but I say it for a reason.

As I also said already, high school was as fun of an experience as it was... interesting. I couldn't finish my freshman year, and I missed my entire sophomore year, and if you survived 2020, you probably know why. I still passed, though. I think that junior and senior year made up for that. I was in the school musical both of those years, I got to attend my first prom junior year, and I went to Thespian Fest senior year.

Maybe the real high school experience was the friends we made along the way, as I've joked. But I wanted to surround myself with people I could get together with. As SpongeBob said, "I only want to hang out with my friends." And I did, 'cause we made every day the best day ever, especially the night we graduated. (The trampoline park we went to afterwards had some killer chicken tenders!) I took one of my friends to see Elemental before she went out of state for her college. I still keep in touch with a lot of them. Still, I'm really gonna miss everyone, and I wish them luck in their future endeavors.

As soon as school let out, my family took me on a trip to celebrate the fact that I graduated, and I made a video about it. You can watch it on my channel if you'd like.

But, I digress! There are a bunch of people here who I've just gotta show my gratitude for. You guys are part of why I keep going in life.

for general:

techno is pretty affectionate with his friends! he loves to hug them and sniff them and snorf them. he's a cuddle person. he loves to nap and hold onto his friends. he does try to play it cool sometimes but techno is a dork and he loves his friends. he loves to make grand gestures of gifts or declarations of friendship. dream isn't as obvious with affection. but he sometimes leans against techno or rests his head on techno's shoulder for a second. mostly though it's just the fact he's there and he'll always be there, y'know?

dream. they're not very vivid, it's more like bits and pieces that makes it hard for him to sleep in the first place. he's a very light sleeper because of that. but the upside to having a large piglin friend is that he can basically act as a weighted blanket (phil also learned this, back in the day). having techno there helps.

this one is really hard for me because a main part of rivals duo is that they haven't betrayed each other. like, that is a key point. dream and techno both mention it, more than once. so if either of them ever did? i think it'd be a lot of complete denial. i think they'd try to come up with a reason as to why the other betrayed them. then techno would just. be sad. how did it end up like this? while dream would probably try to hide his sadness by saying he should've seen it coming.

okay, black dog questions!

techno is the first one to figure it out. he spends the most time around laelaps and he was also the one to spent the most time around dream out of all the people who are in consistent contact with laelaps.

punz doesn't know. that was kind of the whole point. no one knew dream wouldn't come back except dream. and dream wasn't planning on ever coming back. he wanted his death to be permanent but his limbo got to him after awhile.

there is! techno and punz bury him. only they know where it is. it's small. it doesn't have a name (they were afraid if anyone found it, they'd vandalize it). but it's there.

yeah, they do. but in the sense they've mourned him before this. to them, they've already lost him. they lost him before the prison, really. or at least during the prison arc.

he doesn't. or i'm not sure yet! but he's really focused on his job and he just doesn't have the time. i might give him something, though. i think he deserves to have a cat.

not sure if you've answered a question like this before but can u say a little bit about some of ur favorite iterations of breakdown? i assume ur favorite is g1 but i'd like to hear ur thoughts on as many as u care to talk about! :)

AH! I think the only question like this I've been sent was design-wise, and yes yes yes absolutely I will.

So, yes, my favourite is G1! He wasn't actually the first one I was a fan of, that was actually TFP, but he's the most relatable and has so much going on with him (combiners, very detailed personality and facts about him available, more toys, etc.) so my brain's stuck to him the most. There's always more information about this dude and I love it so much. It's also nice going into his story more in depth than G1 ever would- this kid is a child soldier (basically) growing up with psychosis and no professional help available who shared a mind with 5 other guys. The effects of that are so interesting to look into for me. I also cannot stop making headcanons for this lad someone stop me.

WFC Breakdown is another favourite of mine- he used to be top favourite Breakdown because he's got my favourite design, actually! As much as I adore G1 Breakdown's design visually, as an artist I feel like I'm losing years off my life trying to figure out how his helmet and his joints work. Because Oh My God. But WFC being a video game and all, he's a 3D model with joints that have to work and he's also very visually appealing to me. I love his big bug eyes. I miss his personality from that game, too, considering he's canonically also Prime Breakdown (I know a lot of people pretend WFC/FoC aren't the same continuity, but they still are canonically). He's very vain and so energetic he seems like he's having so much fun despite complaining so often. Like you can tell he loves the Decepticons. Zombie War Breakdown is included in this paragraph because they act similar enough and, once again, are technically the same guy.

I feel like next favourite would be TFA! And no! He's not cartoony Prime Breakdown!!! I honestly love TFA Breakdown so much. He's not in... Anything outside of the Stunti-Con Job comic & script reading, but he's super fun nonetheless. He's the only Breakdown with a low courage stat, fun fact, and he's an actor/stunt-man with his acting group the Stunticons. His colours are really nice in TFA- he's mainly cool-toned and he's got more purple than red, so he looks very soft lol. He was meant to be voiced by Jack Angel, the man who voiced Breakdown in his first episode of G1 (all lines past that were Alan Oppenheimer), but he wasn't able to and the YouTuber Vangelus did it instead, and his voice fits this version so well. He seems so sweet and like he does not want to be there at all. Like the group was a bunch of friends and three of them wanted to do stage plays, but Drag Strip and Breakdown were dragged along anyways. I actually got a commissioned drawing of TFA Breakdown because I thought I'd never be able to get a toy of him, but I did, so now I've got both!

3. What were your top five books of the year?

1. lonely castle in the mirror by mizuki tsujimura - this is not a book i would have expected to love (it's about schoolchildren, not really my favorite protagonists), but it's about a bunch of troubled schoolchildren who can access a magical castle (in the mirror!) guarded by a little girl with a wolf mask. it starts slow but it builds up so well and i was full-on sobbing by the end, which is not something that happens... basically ever. i came this close to dnf'ing a couple times in the beginning but i'm very, very glad i didn't.

2. the mars house by natasha pulley - i would say this was an obvious one because natasha pulley but it had pretty bad early reviews. i would never say there are no problems with it, as with all of her books, but i found a lot of the issues people had with it to be. hmm. stupid? and anyway Ms. Pulley Cannot Miss with her romance dynamics. i never get tired of the way she writes her love interests. weirdly i do prefer her hisfic, her voice lends better to repressed victorian queers, but i still loved this book a lot.

3. pale fire by vladimir nabokov - i don't know what was in this book that made me want to eat it like christmas crack candy but my god can this man write. the prose itches my brain sooo good, and i love the dual story/the annotation sections/the unreliable narrator of it all. he makes the absolute worst people into protagonists and then goes "you're gonna sit and listen and you're gonna like it." and i did and i did.

4. a guest in the house by emily carroll - OH MY GOD. no words for this one. carroll's style is unfathomably beautiful and she has a skill for the pacing of visual horror like no artist i've read before (i haven't read a lot, sure, but she's a standout for sure). this is the queer/sapphic ghost story you've been craving without realizing.

5. sociopath by patric gagne - this is a memoir by a woman with sociopathy, which is something i've had interest in for years, so i expected to get information on sociopathy, which i did in fact get. i didn't expect this to be so compelling as a memoir, though. i tend to dislike memoirs but this is an exception. the writing is incredible, and gagne is so straightforward with both the struggles and the benefits that she's had with sociopathy. and just often amusing in an occasionally really dark way.

4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?

c.s. friedman! i devoured the first two books of her coldfire trilogy and my goal is to read the third book by year's end, which would be the first time in like. my entire life that i would read a whole series within a year. fingers crossed! i also read the tainted cup by robert jackson bennett who i've seen around the library a lot, but this was my first book by him, and it was clever and fun and original enough that i might end up picking up something else by him sometime.

17. Did any books surprise you with how good they were?

for sure lonely castle in the mirror - again, not really the kind of book that tends to leave me a soppy mess, but it was amazing. the coldfire books took me off guard by how much i liked them even when i was exasperated with them (very late 80s/early 90s), but then my favorite fanfic author rec'd them so i shouldn't have been surprised. OH and i can't forget hot and badgered and in a badger way by shelly laurenston, which are (obviously) shifter romances, and STRAIGHT shifter romances no less, so... kind of pissed me off that i liked them to the degree that i did!! but look. look. give me supremely angry and violent women who have So Many Things Wrong With Them and i will eat that shit up with a soup spoon, even if they're in straight shifter romances.

If Will and El are twins and Joyce and Hopper are their bio parents, why don't any of them know about it and why haven't there been any hints about it? I'm not even trying to be rude here I just haven't seen any evidence. Let alone strong evidence

I've gotten a few confused asks about this theory and how it just doesn't make any sense..?

I'm not saying that I completely understand the ins and outs of how it works, in fact I'm still completely immersed in theorizing and not being certain of anything! Quite frankly, I don't understand it (how time works/the rules of the game), though I think that's necessary because otherwise everyone and their mother would have guessed this surprise by now if it was any more obvious than it already is.

I also just feel kind of bad about spoiling what could possibly be going down, especially bc this would clearly be a series long surprise.

I've been theorizing for months now with @shippingfangirl013 about this. It started with us sharing thoughts about Twelvegate and just sort of piecing together s4 lab scenes and then eventually going back to the beginning to see what we might have missed from this new lens, that being the possibility that Will is Twelve. And that's when we realized A LOT of stuff has been overlooked from the very beginning, which provides not only answers to certain questions we had, but also brings forth even more questions that we wouldn't have come up with, had we not looked back further into the details in the first place.

Also be sure to keep an eye out because she has some really big brain analysis in the works that you dont want to miss. I can honestly say she plays a big role in why I feel fairly confident about this theory, because I myself didn't really believe it at first. But now, after everything I've seen, it's kind of hard not to.

Even if you don't like this the idea of this theory or just simply don't believe the evidence presented that you've seen thus far, at the very least looking at this could expand your ability to look further at other details on the show and even pick up on evidence of your own. I find that more often than not, knowing about the existence of certain overlooked details allows you to find even more overlooked details that others missed.

For the sake of your doubtful ask, and for anyone else who isn't even considering this theory because it seems too far fetched, I'm going to share some of my favorite unhinged evidence for whatever the hell gate we're calling this...

But first, here is some basic context for the chaos that follows.

Something important to note, is that we don't meet Hopper, El or the Byers the night that Will went missing. We only met Will and the party. Instead they saved the rest of the main character's introductions (his family, mind you) for the following day, after Will had gone missing. This also means they saved their introductions for AFTER the big power outage that happened that night right before he disappeared.

I find this interesting because this choice allowed them to make those introductions feel arguably 'starting point'/reset-like (like in a video game).

You'll also note there is a 'Pizza One' box in that first scene when the party is in Mike's basement playing their campaign, moments before that power outage. This could have been a hint that the very start of the pilot episode at the Wheelers may very well be the OG timeline, that we've been straying from ever since. And so let's say hypothetically, if we had met Hopper, El and the Byers BEFORE that power outage, whose to say their lives wouldn't have looked slightly different...?

The first time we are introduced to Hopper is in the scene directly after the opening credits, which was right after the scene of Will disappearing in the shed. Hopper is sleeping on the couch in his trailer, wearing both his daughter's blue bracelet and his watch. We also get 3 references to keys in this scene (a 2 ft long key decal in the literal opening shot). And if that's not enough, what follows is Hopper getting ready for work, putting a yellow pen in his pocket near a painting of an owl, before grabbing his keys and walking out the door.

The first time we are introduced to Joyce (the Byers), follows directly after the scene with Hopper, where Joyce just so happens to be looking everywhere for her keys, Where the hell are they?, followed by finding them on the couch, despite already looking there previously with no luck (interesting Hopper was sleeping on the couch with Willel symbols on his wrists only moments before this hmm). We then get a shot of Joyce showing concern over Will not eating breakfast, followed by scolding Jonathan for forgetting to wake Will up, adding I've told you this a thousand times, before she walks past an owl on the wall in the hallway and opens the door to another owl on the wall in Will's (unoccupied) room...

Let me just say, for the sake of this fictional family, I hope to god they haven't been through this thousands of times. Though I fear they might have. At least more than once...

There are a lot, A LOT of scenes that go down like this. As the show progresses, we get a lot of references to time passing and confusion and impatience and it almost feels like they themselves know deep down this isn't their first rodeo, and yet they're still playing along bc how exactly can one question their reality?.

The problem right now for me, is that I don't understand the rules of the game. How does time work? What even is the goal of the game (to win, I presume?)? Maybe Vecna's having to keep reseting the time loop, to get the results he wants, and over time he's getting closer and closer to the results he wants, but it will ultimately (predictably) lead to him failing once and for all in the final season, when all is inevitably revealed?

Hypothetically, if this is all some game/pocket universe Vecna has thrown our core characters into, essentially surrounding them with 'fakers', then how do we know what is/isn't real? Or I guess whether or not we're in a timeline/loop either closest to, or furthest away from the original timeline? That's why it's hard for me to go further in terms of definitively piecing everything together time wise. Not only that, but we also don't even know for sure what Vecna wants from Will and El, truly.

But I do think that a lot of the answers to the truth are hidden in plain sight.

If you're genuinely curious, I encourage you to rewatch the show for yourself to see if you can pick up on things! Be sure to keep an eye out for keys and owls in particular. Also, El's flashbacks of Mama/the rainbow room might prove to be important... like, literally slowing down and pausing and screenshooting every single frame level important...

Who knows, you might even stumble upon a completely different undiscovered theory in the process!

On that note, here is just a slice of my favorite evidence in regards to this theory, that will hopefully open your mind to the possibility:

When Hopper asks about Lonnie's whereabouts, Joyce insists TRUST ME HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. They made sure to keep the keys on the wall OUT of the frame in those shots referencing Lonnie by name specifically. However, when the conversation circles back to Will, and then follows after with Joyce telling Hopper to find her son, the keys are once again visible in both of their shots.

This scene right here is pretty epic. We all interpret Hopper's investigative skills throughout the series as him just being good at his job. But I would argue this scene in particular gives off very intense deja vu. It's as if Hopper knows where to look, because he's done this before. It's as if he's getting a gut feeling in certain areas that actually could be close to the truth, because this is his thousandth time doing this (Jesus, for their sake, I hope that's not the case).

Still, Hopper showcases a lot of unbelievable detective work throughout the show, and I think it could very well be hinting at him drifting in and out of awareness over the fact that he has done this before, which allows him to make such incredible guesses that lead him to the answer sooner than he would have in any normal situation (and yet, never too close...)

Has this always been here? That's what Hopper asks about a dent in the wall. We interpret it as maybe Hopper trying to figure out if this could be connected to Will's disappearance. But what if it's more than that? What if it hasn't always been there? What if this is a glitch in the matrix of sorts, and he noticed that glitch, bc this isn't his first time doing this? (Also peep the owl that shows up at the very last second in the shot directly below, with Joyce and Hopper in the frame, just as he gets the urge to check the backyard...)

This scene... This fucking scene ya'll. It just doesn't make any sense. This is one of several scenes throughout the show that have so many unanswered questions. I think it's because something else is going on that weren't not supposed to understand yet. That shot with Hopper encased in a rainbow is cool and probably means something... Hopper intensely walking into the frame as he steps towards the shed, with the upside down horseshoe above the door also probably means something...

Hopper literally walks up straight to where Will was in the shed the night previous, bc he's just that good of a detective. Yeah, okay... Suddenly the light overhead is blinking dramatically, only to switch off completely, which leads Hopper's eyes to catch this makeshift fort in the corner of the shed. Before he even gets a good look at what he's seeing, he's interrupted by Callahan, pulling him out of his deja vu state, followed by the light switching back on instantly, as if the occurrence was all in his head.

This also happens a lot, where our main characters are being interrupted by other characters, only seconds before they were close to solving something. And I just find that interesting...

This one is kind of peak comedy because, all it's doing on the surface is implying that Joyce and Hopper have a romantic history, but it also sneakily involves Will in the joke, as evidence that they have been intimate... The Chief and her, they've screwed before huh? ...WILL! That a 'yeah' or did they...

To be honest, I was really doubtful about Joyce and Hopper being El and Will's biological parents at first, even despite believing twelvegate and the possibility of them being twins. And this doubt mostly came from the scenes we get with Terry aka El's 'Mama'.

Initially, I had convinced myself it would be too sad, considering how much backstory we got about Terry. But @shippingfangirl013 made me realize that there is something very off about these scenes with Terry, that I think kind of went over all of our heads.

First of all, Mama is essentially the equivalent to the name Papa, and so we should start by unpacking that. Why didn't the writers have El distance herself from that exact association she links to Brenner, by just having her call Terry 'mom' like most kids call their mother? It doesn't seem that serious on the surface, but again this is a choice the writers made... Maybe it's because they wanted the audience to subconsciously associate those two with each other (Papa/Mama)? Also peep Jim giving Will Byers vibes, all lit up by the sun like Jesus (or I guess... God?) below!

The main thing I want to talk about though, is that despite Terry's vegetative state, she's still managing to give us hints about how she feels and what she thinks, with very subtle micro-expressions.

When she meets Hopper and Joyce in s1, Terry looks completely unsurprised. You could say she looks the same all of the time, because of her vegetative state, and while I mostly agree, there are some outliers in the mix.

When Joyce mentions El being her daughter, what we get is a reaction shot of Terry dramatically closing her eyes for an extended period of time, almost like she's experiencing frustration over them woefully misunderstanding the truth behind what's going on.

And I think that's kind of the whole point of the vegetative state here, that perhaps if Terry could say what she wanted to say, it would give away the truth that has been hidden all along, AKA Joyce and Hopper are El and Will's true parents. When Joyce then mentions her missing son, showing Terry a picture of him, this woman LITERALLY turns her head to the right, looking straight up annoyed... Why? Why would she do that unless this is her ?/? time meeting them, hearing this same old silly charade?..

But then here... THIS moment when Hopper asks about Brenner and Terry's relationship with him, that's when it gets interesting. Terry doesn't look exhausted over their ignorance anymore like she seemed to be in the moments previous. Now, she's back to her stare of nothing, and yet seeing this in contrast to her micro-expressions, almost adds a new layer to what this could possibly mean... Perhaps this could be hinting that Hopper is a lot closer to the truth than he realizes, warranting a knowing look from Terry, with her almost impressed, thinking Damn Jim, maybe you'll figure it out this time and I can finally be released from this hell...

This might seem like a reach to assume Brenner and Terry had any sort of relation beyond her being a lab volunteer, but something I think you might be interested in knowing, is that Terry has a little collection of Bonsai tree books beside her chair... Bonsai... does that remind you of anyone...? (If you check out those posts by @shippingfangirl013, you might know what i'm referring to...)

The fact that Hopper even mentions Brenner and Terry's presumed connection to him is just one other example of Hopper subconsciously picking up on things he discovered in previous loops that are close to the TRUE truth, allowing him to narrow things down quicker this time around, without needing to take all the steps to get to that point.

An owl behind both Joyce and Hopper here, while they talk about what allegedly happened to Terry and her daughter Jane.

And there you have it folks, the acknowledgment that the truth could have been covered up, the moment Hopper stands in front of the owl artwork (literally covering it up). Owls, which have been tied more than anyone else to Hopper, Joyce, Will and El (tying them together?).? Also the crib between them... Nothing to see here.

This one is pretty self explanatory. We even get a parallel to this in s4 with El AND Will, though next time they'll confirm Hopper's role in the equation. So, be ready for that...

These scenes are so important to this theory because despite them all being separated (who knows how many times now), they have this epic finale of coming together. We get these really heartfelt scenes with El and Joyce and Hopper, Will and El, and then Will and Joyce and Hopper, and it's all very emotional and just so much deeper knowing that the truth could be that they're all tied to each other more than we (or even them) realize.

11 & 12 between the two hands on the clock, in a moment that parallels X-Men and also the lab massacre (which presumably had both 11 and 12 in attendance...). Mike calling out to El emotionally the moment that Joyce and Hopper are reunited with Will. My heart can't take it!!!

Someone actually noticed this shot of Hopper recently, I can't remember who! But it made me want to go back to see what shot is right before it. And low and behold, it follows directly after a shot of the Byers family reuniting. Kind of interesting they made the choice to have this shot right afterwards, of Hopper sitting next to Ted (aka a dad), while looking lost in thought as he stressfully bites his nails, with his arm sporting his daughter's blue bracelet...

Not suspicious at all. That creepy shadow behind Owens as he makes an almost knowing comment about Joyce and Hopper being 'Mom and Pop', followed by Hopper looking like he's missing something...

And for this scene to follow shortly after? Hopper literally acknowledging Owens whose waving at him politely, and yet choosing to not wave back at him?... He KNOWS something is off, but he just can't quite put his finger on it...

As you probably know, most of the scenes with the birthday mug in Mike's basement involve either El (in s1) or Will (in s2-3), which is interesting considering the other few notable birthday references we get in the show, including this really cryptic sequence above, involve Joyce and Hopper...

Now, if you still didn't believe me about Terry's behavior being off, I think this piece of evidence might help support our claims a little bit more for you to consider. Because, why, WHY when El approaches Terry in the void and says I'm home, is Terry's response No..? Why would that even make any sense? Why would El's biological mom say No to her missing daughter implying that she is her family? Unless, she's not of course...?

Something interesting about the flashbacks that Terry shows El, is that they're very sporadic and hard to understand. Not only that, but we STILL get callbacks to these memories heavily even in s4, which tells me there is still something there that has yet to be picked up on, by both the audience and El herself, which is why they keep resurfacing in different forms. My favorite moment out of the s2 flashbacks though is probably this moment where it looks like a baby is born, only for Brenner to look back, like there's more to come (another baby?? TWINS?). But this type of twin imagery, only gets stronger in s3-4...

After 2 seasons of building up this meeting of these two characters who have been mirroring each other since the very beginning, here we are... Also, why even hold back for so long in introducing them? Maybe because them finally interacting properly is going to cause some things to resurface... And you definitely don't want to overlook these shots of Hopper and Joyce in Melvald's with two baby's in between them, followed by a shot of keys... Hmmmm.

Remember when I said to pay attention to the Terry/Lab flashbacks El experiences over the seasons?

Well this particular flashback below comes from 3x06: E Plurbius Unum aka the episode that was originally titled The Birthday, might prove to be important...

Jonathan and Will in a scene prior to El's flashback, has them situated interestingly between this Lucky Charms box and this Spill & Spell game, which is then followed by this scene with El experiencing flashbacks... And...

Rainbow? Lucky (Upside down horse shoe...) Enter flashback

I'm not going to be able to show each frame of this flashback, because in total there are over 30 different quick images shown and repeated...

And so, If you want to find out why this is the strongest piece of evidence for Willel twins in my opinion (brought to you by @shippingfangirl013's big brain), go back and rewatch to see how many times they show the image of baby El and young El in the rainbow room... Also take note of how shots of Kali (008) are interspersed consistently within this flashback, aka a character that is known for having powers to make people invisible, and to also make people see things that aren't actually happening...

Here's that parallel I mentioned earlier making a return, but instead tying El (and arguably Will) to Hopper being their biological father. Also peep El's bracelet and Will's watch being prominent in a lot of their shots together throughout s4, now that they share the screen a lot more.

No, but seriously, Willel's bracelet and watch mirroring each other often in their scenes together, and by association also paralleling Hopper wearing one of each, dramatically showcased in his introduction to the series, can be something so personal to me...

THEY'RE TWINS YOUR HONOR!

This one really goes off. A car passes by a couple times during this flashback El has (IN S4), causing a shadow to cast behind Will, almost creating this duplicate-like effect... This is literally happening while El is having a flashback to her 'birth mother', while staring at a family (with their faces warn out/blurred) on a billboard, with an arrow pointing towards where Will, aka her twin, is standing to the right of her...

This one below has gotta be my favorite though. And it's because I literally remember watching this scene the first time and being confused?

Tbh, that's when you know something is more complex than it appears. Whenever something feels off within the context provided in the moment, it's probably because there's something deeper going on and there are multiple meanings at play. This means they're using this small moment as an opportunity to provide dual meaning in plain sight, that we wont understand the dual meaning of until later on down the line.

Are you ready..

Hmmm. I wonder what this could possibly be alluding to? Could it perhaps be the writers hinting at Hopper unintentionally projecting his own situation onto Dmitri? Is it possible who Hopper believes to be his child (daughter... son(s?)?) and his (ex)wife, are not actually who he and everyone thinks they are...?

Well. There you have it! These are just some of the many, many hints hiding in the details that point to the possibility of the Byers actually all being, Hoppers...?

For now, this is just a theory! So even though it's cool and there is a serious amount of evidence pointing to it, it will most definitely continue to transform and look different over time, the more we look deeper and discover more. Nothing is set in stone, for now it's all just theories and speculation.

🌹﹐ Self Discovery ﹗

I always knew there was something "not-normal" about me, and so considering I'm really interested in psychology it was kinda cool to see some symptoms I experience in different disorders. I like to have labels for myself and identify myself, so when I would study disorders and found that I related with some symptoms, I would do alot of research into it.

My research into npd wasn't until recently, but I had thought I might have npd about a year ago? (man, i miss '23) The thought occurred to me because I was in a relationship at that time (my only relationship actually - that recently ended so 😪 yikes) and my partner had said I was very narcissistic when we had been arguing. I had argued against it, and whenever I thought about it I would inardly deny it, and there would be alot of reasons as to why I couldn't possibly have npd, "I can't have npd, I have a horrible self-esteem and hate being in the spotlight" or "I care for others much more than I do myself, I barley have care for myself" and others thoughts like that. I inwardly denied having it a whole bunch and didn't really look into it afterwards, thinking there wasn't much need.

Now that I know more though, when I look back I can identify the narcissistic actions my ex was talking about, and it's like a "ohh" moment. Putting myself first, lashing out inappropriately when I felt like they were insulting me and therefore my ego, victimizing myself, not willing to change, etc. It all aligned.

When I started looking into npd again because I wanted to know more about it, I realized a ton of things matched up and made sense. I looked around alot, not just in articles and stuff, but in experiences of people who are diagnosed with npd and realized my experiences lined up with theirs. I'm really self-aware, so I was aware to an extent of my narcissistic actions, but wasn't sure exactly what was causing it and was chalking it up to me being insecure or something else. When I realize it could possibly be npd, it made alot of sense to me, and after looking it over more, I concluded that I could possibly have npd. It was alot easier to admit to myself this time around then a year ago.

Now knowing the possibility that I could have npd, I wasn't sure what to do. It didn't make it any easier to admit with all the bad stigma around npd basically everywhere which made me think day in and day out that if I did have npd I could be a horrible horrible person, which fuled my denial a bit because, "I'm not a bad person". But then I found some spaces which were npd safe spaces, that didn't basically demonize npd, and it got a lot easier again to accept. (Can you guess where?)

So, like, here I am!! Basically! Accepting the fact I could have npd has helped me realize alot of things. First of all, I want to get diagnosed for npd. Most likely not now (restrictions like my parents, money, also my absolute introverted self), but sometime in the future. And from there I want to try and go to therapy! I've also been looking for more safe places where I can really be myself and connect with other people with the same experiences which I haven't been able to before. It's also helped solidify my thoughts of studying psychology in the future. Cause like damn, I want to learn more about myself and how my brain works.

So like, thanks npd?? fuck you too though.

To the Good Omens fandom,

TL;DR: I'm still around, a little sad, but looking forward to S3.

I adore all the theories and analysis out there. From the probable ones to the way out there. I love how we all over analyze the smallest details of the show and make entire theories around them. This fandom has brought me so much joy in ways I truly never imaged I'd ever be a part of. I've even come up with my own head canons and theories, which is something I never do.

As much as I love these guesses, I fully anticipate to be wrong about everything I've accepted or would like to be true. For all my theories to be wrong. For all my head canons to not become canons. Maybe I guessed one thing pretty closely, but as for everything else, it was just me missing the moon.

Will I trash S3 for it? Absolutely not. Cause as that lovely human expression goes, past the moon are the stars. I am a Good Omens fan now, and though I will accept however the story goes, I will play pretend in the stars with my lovely rejected theories and head canons. I'm sure I can make them fit somehow! No one but me can tell me no in my brain.

With that in mind, I am sad and I mourn what we've lost story telling wise. All I was expecting was for a great story to have a lovely ending, dedicated to an old friend. That is no longer the case. Now, we will get a story based of notes. Let me be clear, the fact that they'll be based off notes isn't the bad thing, but the fact that the original expected form of how it'd be told is now lost.

What I expect now, is to get a great story that so many people have worked so hard on. By people who put their everything in front of the camera to bring these characters to life. By people who worked so hard in all the little details for the audience to catch. By people who rescued this show from being canceled. At the end of the day, that's all I can ever ask for. A show created by people who love the story with all their heart and want to give it a proper ending. That's what I look forward to. That's what I'll be celebrating.

Things have been rough for the fandom, and it always breaks my heart when someone involved with making something so great turns out weren't entirely great themselves. However, I refuse to let one bad apple ruin the bunch. As far as I know, the bunch is probably even more surprised than I could ever be about the apple being rotten in its core, especially when the skin looked so nice. Personally, I've removed that apple and will enjoy the rest of the bunch with joy in my heart.

Did that analogy make sense? Hope so. I like it better than the other one I thought of with a baby, bathwater, and a bug. I don't want to insult bugs.

I'll still be around. I've got so many drafts I need to finish before S3 comes out! Until then, let's be kind to each other.

The Other Potatoes' First Time Drinking (again After they turn 21)

Pt 1

Kara gets literally the cutest drink in the bar (Like a pink starburst cocktail or something)

At first no one bats an eye because all she does is act goofier and more laid back than usual.

But then the Shah genes kick in when she drinks more and starts acting even more chaotic than Aru when she's sober.

She casually drops disturbing facts about her childhood like it's nothing and laughs about it like the most Gen Z kid in the bar.

Hira doesn't really drink but she took one shot of whiskey to keep up. Unfortunately, she's a lightweight and immediately starts roasting everybody.

You'd expect her fashion critiques to be on overdrive and they were...the problem is they were towards herself because now her self-esteem sunk like an anchor

Ok, I lied. Sheela got an even cuter drink than Kara with all kinds of fruity decorations and tiny umbrellas. It looked more like a parfait than a drink, but it had alcohol nonetheless.

She immediately passes out to the point where everyone thinks she's dead but she's literally just jumping from one person's head to another and everyone's wondering why they're suddenly daydreaming about having tea parties with this chick.

Aru took Aiden off designated driver duty and so he starts going at the drinks so he can finally get revenge.

Unfortunately, the man's surprisingly a heavyweight and almost beats Brynne's record. When she finds out, she's not sure if she's mad or impressed.

"I hAvE a HaReM..." "Not exactly, Wifey-" "Shhshhshh, LeT mE eXpLaIn! I hAvE a HaReM, wHiCh I gOt AfTeR i DiEd. My LiFe iS aN ISEKAI!" "...Don't do this. I swear, you'll make me get you drunk more often if you keep this up." "yOu KnOw, ArU, wHeNeVeR yOu QuEsTiOn SoMeOnE, yOu ShOuLd SaY 'ARU SHAH ABOUT THAT?!?'" "BARTENDER, ANOTHER ONE OVER HERE!"

Also, his Apsara powers get out of hand and he proceeds to dominate the karaoke show and suddenly has a bunch of girls flock to him. Aru's about to figure out whether she should electrocute him or them when he screams into the mike "THAT'S MY PAST LIFE HUSBAND! HIII, ARU!" and runs into her for a hug tackle before passing out.

Then the others are on hangover cleanup. Everyone's a mess in the morning and when Aiden says "This can't possibly get any worse." Aru goes "ARU SHAH ABOUT THAT???" and shows them everything she recorded on her phone. They then puked even harder...

been off social media for a while cause work and life and being broker than usual have just been a lot but now I'm back to emopost and be dramatic as always.

I keep working to keep my friendgroup together, it really feels like it's just me and one other friend putting in that effort and even then her anxiety keeps her from reaching out some of the time so a lot of it really is me working to get us together for game night and keeping the groupchat going, and we keep having friends drop out of the group

There were a couple like two or so years ago that I don't wanna talk about, it's mostly my fault

One who just stopped talking to me specifically but hangs out with the others still and I have no idea what's going on nor do the others, and I've tried to reach out and get a feel for if we're still friends and I truly have no read on the situation I'm just baffled

One who was one of my lifelong best friends who like a year ago broke up her girlfriend (my other best friend in the group) and got a bunch of new friends and stopped talking to all us out of the blue and left the dnd campaign which her ex was not even in with barely a word and now just recently she told another friend who I guess she's still talking to that she's feeling "abandoned by the group" even though she never even replied to the last text I sent and it really seemed by the messy way she broke up with the first friend that she was kind of trying to burn bridges anyway so I don't fucking know what to do with that!

And a couple other friends who have just been distant and unreliable for a while which I get, they have lives outside the friend group and even closer friends in another group, it's fine, I just wish getting them to communicate when I'm trying to schedule my goddamn 30th birthday party wasn't like herding cats (especially considering the party was literally going to be 5 people with them included, and ended up just being 3 of us in the end)

And now today we got another very close friend who's been busier and busier which again I get and she hasn't been able to make game nights which I get and she just said tonight that she definitively won't be able to make future game nights or other hangouts because things are still getting busier which I get and then without saying she's leaving just dropped out of the server (which is a small friend group server of like 6 people now) and when I messaged her asking if she was okay she said yes and said we should stay in touch and I'm like that's the whole reason why the server is there it's literally there so we can keep in touch, but whatever I'm not getting passive aggressive about it, I'm being an adult

But inside I'm frankly upset with her and the others (not the last friend for having to leave because at least her reasons aren't immature bs, but for just being out of the blue and not really saying anything or giving us a chance to see her off or respond at all). I know I have two rocks of friends who genuinely want to be around me and each other and they don't create a bunch of drama, and they do occasionally initiate. But damn it really feels like I'm just straining to keep this friend group together and it isn't even working. And I'm bad at scheduling things, I'm bad at keeping up obligations, the fact that it's falling on me means it is *dire*, but I'm doing what I can and it's still not enough! I know it's not fair on them or myself to compare how the group is now to when we were younger and all unemployed, or during lockdown when we were all furloughed and could just be in chat all the time. But I still feel like it shouldn't be this hard! If I don't schedule something, if I don't initiate, we practically never see each other! It's just disheartening and I just feel like the collapse of the entire friend group is inevitable. I'm gonna lose the two really close friends I have left, and I'm gonna miss them and be distraught about it (and rationally I know they'd miss me too but my brain is telling me they wouldn't), and I guess the one silver lining in that scenario is there'd be almost nothing stopping me from just moving to a bigger city and starting over which honestly! I've been tempted to do anyway, I've been getting the destructive urge to just throw a torch onto my current life and move to Chicago or NY or smth. Stop worrying about if the group will or won't collapse and just let it you know? But gfdi I'm being strong and *trying* to hold onto the friends I still have
