Ever since watching One Piece Film Red, I kept on hyperfixating about the red spots on Law's outfit--like just looking at it for no reason whatsoever--until Luffy was on the same frame with him and something in my idle brain suddenly clicked: their outfits were a mix of red and yellow, which is their respective colors.

i genuinely believe luffy and usopp got some awesome platonic homieship (possibly qpr but idek honestly). going on where they casually cuddle and kiss sometimes because neither of them really gaf about appearing to be "normal" besties. they'll hold hands. they'll sleep together (!!! The saddest comment that I've ever read about Byler that lives rent-free in my head is a tiktok commentor who was absolutely against Robin and Mike interacting, specifically with her helping him figure himself out. They said that Mike "should" do it alone, like Will and Robin did. Otherwise, Will and Robin would be able to hang out.

I wasn't quite in those shoes because I had online support, but real-life support goes a long way. And it just seems so... terribly lonely for anyone to have to go through that, especially in the 80's.
