me with my 18 year old students that i teach at a college

#everyone is just so mean to them because they're adults now but most of them were literally in high school only a few months ago #and so many of them are far from home and on their own for the first time !!!#and the other professors are so mean like they literally ranted to me about how another professor cursed them out #like !!! bruh!!!! also i think it messes with my head that im teaching foundational class and if i fuck this up #that could fuck up their college career because this class is about how to write essays in college #like holy shit responsibility #but fr i love my students they're so fucking funny and they all call out in class and they straight up are the class full of #'problem children' on academic probation who had to check in with a guidance counselor once a week and i have to monitor and write reports #about once a week as well.#and like idk man im feeling very captain o my captain here if you get my meaning #anyways they're all so funny like they do not care and will say fuck to me and i say fuck back #it's great.#anyways. i'm stoned. they know im a stoner too lol.#originally said 17-20 y/o students but tbh they're all 18 except for the one 17 and the one 20

can’t think of anything to say other than it was everything I could have ever expected and wanted and hoped for. seeing them perform truly is an electric experience and I am so, so grateful I got to be there. I’ve never felt such overflowing joy and love in one room before and that truly is down to what a one-of-a-kind group Starkid is. I’m so happy and a little emotional that it’s over but like it’s sung in days of summer, “don’t wanna see you go but it’s not forever, not forever” ⭐️💜

#Starkid #starkid innit #star rambles #don’t really get Emotional and or Sincere on tumblr but I needed to put these feelings SOMEWHERE #and gods the Starkid community is amazing #I saw so many mind blowing cosplays and met so many kind and excited people like me #it was really beautiful to see a theatre full of people bound together by our love for this group #I got v emotional when they closed the show with gotta get back to Hogwarts #and Clark asked us all to sing for Darren #truly like. hearing everyone get the lyrics and the timing and the notes right just bc we all care about this so much..gods #that’s something incredibly special and I’m v grateful to be a part of it #also they performed our doors are open AND back on top AND a new rogues medley so that was thrilling for me personally #AND SIDEKICK #AND SPICE GIRLS’ WANNABE #like holy shit they gave us everything we wanted and MORE #really and truly a once in a lifetime experience for me #like hopefully I get to see them live again but hey #if I don’t??? then I have these memories that are so joyful and vibrant #yeah. it was totally awesome 🤘

alright i've gotta say that i'm genuinely so obsessed with people feeling collective panic and threatened by the idea of juan being in love with lucrezia (mind you, it's just one-sided) even when everything about his arc on the show makes it very clear. and it always happens every time i post about lucrezia/juan lmao

anyway for instance, juan choosing a wife that resembles her, his aggressive overprotectiveness towards her, how furious he was over paolo because, unlike cesare who knew who paolo was to lucrezia, juan never knew he was lucrezia's solace but instead saw him as someone trying to have his way with his sister and cause her a scandal, (newsflash: one of juan's character aspects is that he's the black sheep of the family and always being excluded from everything), and he thought he genuinely did something to protect her honor. and how her attempt to kill him to avenge paolo broke him entirely in different ways (in the sense that he realized he hurt her and that she hates him for killing paolo), yet he tried to reconcile with her because he doesn't want to lose her affection and respect, and after being rejected again by someone he loves deeply made him lose his mind which caused him to hurt her back.

seeing people downplay his feelings and affection towards her simply because they can't stand his character and don't even want to understand him while desperately wanting cesare to be the pinnacle of almost everything just screams of copium and an inferiority complex and this only gives in to how interesting and compelling juan's character and his potential is when they could've simply just enjoy how tragic these three siblings are and how juan being trapped in a position to protect the family with massive expectations set him in opposition of his siblings and his ways of not knowing how to react caused them all to misunderstand each other and made them forever disconnected.

I am not a ToddBlack shipper.... HOWEVER I can admit that those guys had some kind of romantic of sexual relationship before the whole coma thing. Like the way Todd just lies down on the bed in Ep11 after calling Black an agressive dog, the way they both can't kill each other (and yea we can say that this could also be platonic because they have been friends for a long time but still). Those guys had something and I don't know if GMMTV trusted us enough to read between the lines and that is why they never clearified it or this is just another GramBlack situation where they gave us a shit ton of subtext to just go "Nahh nevermind..."

makes you wonder if sult was right all along bc these wars could've been entirely avoided if not for a feud between two egomaniacs? everyone got a bad ending and they all suffered for it, except maybe glokta in a way, and jezal if he continues to live in denial? but like imagine giving these people a chance to see something better in themselves only to snatch it away from them entirely and cursing them to a life of misery. is this what logen's friends died for? is this what jezal's people died for? there is nothing left. usually there is always some good ending, some hope in rebuilding and starting over but my god this just left everyone hollow and devoid of anything that resembles any optimism
