Let's talk about goals.

Goals from 2024

To hit 200K for the year with a month of 30K.

I hit 273K! And my highest month was 53K which I never thought would have ever been possible.

2. Give every WIP an update.

I had 55 chapter updates or one-shots posted, and this was the breakdown per fic:

Ambassador to Madness- 4 chapter updates

Ghost of a Chance- 3 chapters to finish the fic! (met goals)

Guarding Alliances- 3 chapters to finish the fic! (met goals)

Just to See You Happy- 3 chapter updates

A Mother’s Curse- 3 chapter updates (met goals)

Soul Traitor- 3 chapter updates (met goals)

The Twelve Transformations of Bilbo Baggins- 6 chapter updates

3. Release From the Pieces of Your Shattered Memories and Beneath the Oak Tree.

I had so many WIPs I really didn't feel ready to post From the Pieces of Your Shattered Memories, but it is being written behind the scenes! And then of course you can click the link for Beneath the Oak Tree.

4. Participate in THAUC, Fandom Trumps Hate, and Year of the Bagginshield.

So I completed Until Our Next Encounter with @fantasyinallforms for THAUC and wrote A Story of Home for Fandom Trumps Hate. Did not do Year of Bagginshield, but hope to do some of those prompts this next year.

Goals for 2025

Word Count- Let's just keep on pushing. I want to try to get 300K for the year, and another 50K month.

Completion- I want to finish the following fics: Ambassador to Madness, The Twelve Transformations of Bilbo Baggins, To Spoon Feed You Comfort, The Raven Prince, and From the Pieces of Your Shattered Memories. It'll be a tall order, but I have a plan in place if I can keep up with it.

Events- I think I'll probably participate in Fandom Trumps Hate again, but I would love to try my hand in Thorin's Spring Forge as well!

OF Projects- I have an idea for an OF work and would like to at least get some of it written. Not necessarily completed, but at least started with a direction.

Learning to celebrate the little wins!

#fersona #While I don't have the capacity to do Hourly Comics Day #I did journal my day hour-by-hour and the sheer difference in my self-care and routines is *staggering*.#Honestly both Feb 1 2024 and 2025 were rough days...but this year I had a far better outlook on it all.#The funny part is that when I drew this a few days ago I actually *was* celebrating not crying.#Might have still cried on Feb 1st. A meagre 4 times. But I also had lot of good moments!#January is a very hard month for me and frankly I've been in a fugue state for most of it.#Drawing helped me pull through these last 2 years but this year I've been finding myself so upset at how I can't seem to focus anymore.#So updates and posts have been slow. I'm just slow. I'm tired and burnt out from work and grieving.#But you know what? The days I do manage to post; I'm never shamed for how long it took. You're all just as excited and kind.#I'm coming home and eating better and sleeping more and spending time with loved ones.#This is all to say; you can be a lot happier when you realize that life can be taken a little slower.#I'm more grateful that words can possibly convey.#If you related to the mindset of constantly feeling like you've 'failed' the day; please know you have done more than you realize.#I'm struggling with it everyday! I'm in the trenches with you!#Life is too short and painful to not celebrate what you *do* accomplish! It's hard work but it is worth it!#Bit by bit...we will learn to live. *Really* live. And enjoy it!

#Golly!#this is a shorter update but I wanted it to be that way. We've been in the house for a while. It's time to change some scenery!!#Chara using their game narrator voice like “golly!” and “amazing!”#Eimmet high :)) i was really hoping to be able to reference Temmie Chang here. An integral part of UT/DR!! She's awesome!#WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON Day 2 BABY #yes- there is still a little everyman easter egg as well as some other things... ;)#I tried so many new and different things for these panels. I was a little nervous implementing them. But im having a lot of fun with it!#i try to put my own artistic enjoyment above all other things :) its what I strive for.#Angle's landing day! excited for the festivities!#Chara is feeling stabby :)#loved detailing Chara's hand in the last page. When I detail the hands- just know shits getting real #I'm really happy with how I was able to redraw Toriel here. decided to join in on @quezify’s eggtober again this year as a little art warmup and I actually ended up really enjoying it!! it’s obviously way outside of my usual comfort zone so I’m very happy that I was able to create an end result that I’m proud of :)
