Your Mom | Jinx x Fem!Reader & Isha

You’re conjuring up a plan with the precious little girl next to you. A plan of attack (code for ‘surprise for Jinx’). No special occasion, just something Isha wants to do for her. It’s sweet, and so you agreed immediately.

“We coouuuld lure her in with…well I don’t know, candy? Where would we get candy…” you ponder your own question for a second while Isha stares, observing you.

“ooh! And we’ll be hiding behind the couch and scare her when she gets close enough! Only then will we give her the gift.” You nod at yourself approvingly, convinced it was a good idea.

Isha side eyes you though, her judgment clear as day. The words that’s stupid written clearly on her tiny face.

She signs ‘that’s dumb’ as if you couldn’t already tell that’s what she was thinking. You’re offended still, seeking a way to defend yourself. You use the age old argument.

“Your mom is dumb.”

Isha’s eyes widen at your statement.

She points at you, head tilted and giving a confused look. As if to say but you’re my mom…then shakes her head and let’s out an exasperated sigh, rolling her eyes. Never mind, her dismissal says.

The attitude on this kid. Wonder who she got that from…(Jinx).

“Whatever. Got a better idea?”

She gives a small nod, making an excited noise.

“Wow. You’re soooo much smarter than me, aren’t you, kid?”

She nods enthusiastically this time, a big toothy smile on her face.

Ah. And she loves to make fun of you, just like Jinx.

“Whaaaat are you two doing?” A second voice causes the two of you to jump. Jinx, with her hands on her hips, stares expectantly.

Isha immediately relays your plan to her. I thought this was supposed to be a surprise?

“Ha! Definitely not your brightest moment, toots. Though I don’t recall you ever actually having a good idea…” Jinx teases, pointer finger tapping her chin, as if deep in thought. Isha laughs with her.

When your father tried his best to provide for you but he worked all the time and even when he was home he was either tired or stressed and he’s always liked to get drunk to relax and cheer up. When you know he values work ethics and respectability so you grew up to be capable and quiet. And when he says you’re like him you’re sort of puzzled, does he really know you so little, or does he know himself so little? But you like the feeling of your father ruffling your hair so you accept it, and still you stand next to your mother just as silent and just as stoic as her during family gatherings. He leaves again and again and when your mother leaves him nothing changes, really. You wonder if it’s more telling that you know him better than he seems to himself or that you don’t know him as much as you wish you did, or that you don’t think about him all that much these days. Out of sight, out of mind. And he’s never really been there, even when he was there, after all.

Human disguised Carmilla Carmine with her hair up and down in the style of my #HHStargazersAU! She doesn't play a major role or anything, nor will I focus much on the other Overlords. I'll mostly keep it between Chaggie & Radioapple, but @softholly made me curious about what Camilla would look like if I were to draw her in my story. I got the curly haired idea from one of her daughters. As for WHY she would be disguised as a human if we were to see her in my AU... Surely you didn't think Vaggie & Alastor are the ONLY angelic/demonic entities roaming the Earth now, did you? =) Question is, why are any of these powerful beings on the mortal realm to begin with? need an uncut version of tua season 4 thats actually the full 10 episode length it most likely was before all those important scenes got deleted so bad. like im assuming it will still be just as horrific of a season because lila and five happen either way but at least if they released an uncut edition it would actually make some level of SENSE. like who thought it was a good idea to cut out the start and end of klaus's character arc this season but keep the middle?????

You know, these past two episodes I was thinking to myself, Su Yin is almost perfect in every way, simply the ideal devoted, protective, loyal, dedicated sworn brother, call him Da-ge indeed!!!, but my one piece of constructive criticism is that he needs to learn how to give real hugs - he does a lot of manful shoulder clasping, but Xiaobao is a shivering chihuahua desperately in need of cuddles and body heat, you gotta HUG THAT BOY - but now I see that Su Yin's hugs are simply reserved for his horrible little gremlin of an imperial cousinwife.
