You don’t try to struggle only watching wide-eyed as you hope this Hitman doesn’t drop you 

“Really…the wrong one? Fine, I’ll figure it out.”

Breathing is so much easier when he pulls you from the edge with one hand by the way. He doesn’t untie you sighing exasperatedly while running a hand through his hair. Finally, he takes the ducktape off your mouth waving off your barrage of questions. 

“Look things happened and I was supposed to kill someone who looks a lot like you but not.”

“So you're a hitman and you made a mistake?”

“Yup.”

“Are you going to kill me for knowing you then?”

“I don’t have to.”

“Then can I go home?”

“Er no.”

“Because I’m going to talk?”

“No more like you wouldn’t be able to get into the country anyway.”

Turns out the hitman who happened to target you was incredibly too thorough and ended up burning your ID, crafting up a reasonable missing persons case for you, and making it hard for you to do anything in the country that you can’t properly even find on a map. So to combat the absolute mess of having to go through all the legalese and interrogation you’d go through to get back to your life he comes up with his solution.

“How about you just stay with me? I’ve got more than enough room.”

And he does. It's a place that’s like a small castle, he reasons it’s best that you just help clean the place and maybe make a meal or two. You accept not that you had any other choice at this point so he’ll untie you and take you there. Wherever this backwater country is he’s got a home filled with villagers who are happy to care for it. And in a language you don’t recognize they celebrate it when he brings you home, cheering and excitedly holding your hands. He can’t help but laugh at you while you try to figure things out.

“Hey! What was she saying before?”

“You really shouldn’t just blindly nod to what people are saying. That’s what gets you in trouble.”

“What else am I supposed to do?! She was smiling so wide it must’ve been something nice, right?”

“Hahaha, you're hopelessly adorable.”

When this Hitman is not sitting around laughing at you or mistranslating your requests, he’s not so bad. As the only one who understands what you’re saying and can actually respond to you in a rewarding way. Dismissing that he ruined your everyday life, he’s decent company usually smirking to himself while he makes fun of whatever you're doing. 

“That hat is way too big for you and so are your clothes. It’s kinda cute.”

Not that he really needed to that amount he had could very well pay for the entire lives of generations to come. That is if he hasn’t budgeted for a luxurious life with you.

“Not for me but for my partner….I’m just worried they’ll leave me and our kids out while playing.”

I'm probably biased by Abyssos being the first raid I was there for day of release but these really are all fantastic. It's also when the story abandons all pretense of not being (at least partly) about family abuse and is loudly using the body horror and shackle motifs to talk about that. It's great. Hephaistos specifically is constantly bulging and twisting in and out of different forms like a highly unstable chimera and the more I look at these the more I notice parts that just should not be there. He's giving everything.

As for the Savage design It's a hard thing to rate as such but my favourite part is the veins that grow down from the eyeholes in his mask like bloody tears.

Theos: Athena

In.. almost every final fantasy adventure you're fighting the real villain not at the very end but a little beforehand, the big iconic end boss is often more a metaphorical figure representing everything wrong with that first person's ideals. Athena cut out the middle man and became her own JENOVA.

I do like the moth angel, especially the hollow body full of dubious orbs, but with her eyes closed all the time it gives off the impression of this not even being the true body but some kind of anglerfish lure in the shape of a fairy... which might be true because this exists:

I really really love her twitchy anemone feelers and how the moth body ends up grafted to the rest of it waist down.

Anyway there's the gang I did not specifically intend for this to be design reviews I just wanted to have clear photos because when you actually see them in game there's other things to focus on. In hindsight I can appreciate more the theming of each tier and then the series as a whole, but my only (extremely obvious) observation for now is that every character Athena had a personal hold over is decorated in chains somehow and so I should have seen the Hegemone thing coming lmao. Heph and Aggy are still my favourites I don't think that's changing any time soon. I'm also noticing that Anabaseios is now just old enough for random DF parties to fuck up severely and I find that fun so I'm going to go fight the crab mansion now.

Calm theory anon here and I seen an ask as I was scrolling that made me think. One question was why would Luke continue to see Ant if she was involved with pap gate? And another question was why would he continue to date ant it he knew it was hurting nic? So let's tackle the first one. My question to you is do you automatically think the worst of the people in your life? Do you automatically have bad things happens and assume it's someone attached to you? I personally don't. I think to figure out who was behind pap gate would be difficult and he might have just assumed they followed him from the after party to the hotel. He might not have even put two and two together. We know the girl been baiting the fans but an outsider would just think she taking pictures and posting them. So why would Luke think any type of different? To him she wasn't nasty. She I'm sure showed all her best qualities to him. Remember even though they been "seeing" each other for a year he's been gone for most of that. So did he really know her? No how can he when he spent so much time touring, and even when he was back I'm sure he was exhausted in between countries. So yes there is a possibly he didn't put two and two together. We still don't know who called them we still have just theories and I'm sure he's not gonna ask backgrid who called. Actually why would he even go that route mentally and assume it was his people? I'm sure that thought didn't come in his head till it became a pattern which was Italy. Now why would he continue dating Ant if Nic was hurting? Now this one made me pause a bit. Why would he? then it dawned on me who to even say they had that discussion on how they feel about each other. How would he know how she felt unless she told him? I personally am a people pleaser and honestly at times it sucks. I always put myself last. So it goes to stand if Nic knew he was seeing her then why would she get in the way of his relationship? She would never be the reason they broke up. Men naturally are able to communicate feelings as good as woman are. They are naturally logical thinkers. They react to issues using logic where as woman react using feelings. So Nic did why I would have done thrown herself into work and just have some fun try not to dwell on something you can't change. I seen an article that spoke on she went from the Tour to straight to filming. She didn't have to dwell in the Luke stuff cuz she kept herself busy. Now personally I think they have talked since then. I think it was after Italy. Who knows if they spoken feelings? But i do think things are moving in the right direction. Hard to know EXACTLY what's been going on BTS with L/N since the beginning of the year. I personally think they have seriously been working on their romantic relationship since the Italy stop of the WT. I think papgate threw a wrench in everything though and things were definitely not all rainbows and sunshine between L/N this summer. I think they took some space this summer to figure out there stuff, and there was some type of positive shift between them after the Italy bday trip. I also personally think things have been kind of off and on between L/N for a while, and they have known each other so long, that if they can get on the same page, I think things will get serious pretty quickly. And I have this theory (based on everything I've seen between them this year and PARTICULARLY N's chaos week), that they have finally gotten on the same page 😉

I am also going to say this. I think it speaks VOLUMES what L/N have on their public grid of each other (and the other people in their lives they DON'T choose to put on their grid). Especially N (who's a lot more SM savy than L). I've said it before, and I'll say it again. L (not Colin) is ALL OVER N'S GRID 🤔

Levi had stayed up pulling several all-nighters to quickly create these get ups for the both of you. He owed you a favor, and making cosplays is one of the things the otaku does best.

"Hey, at least we match!", you muse, smiling at his complaints.

Your attention is pulled away as another figure enters the hallway from a side door, striding over to the both of you.

"Of course", you beam. "We're right behind you, just give us our cue."

He gives a solid nod before walking off with a sense of determination about him. His confidence proves to you that he was the right brother to pick for this job.

Your boyfriend on the other hand...

"On the bright side, you didn't have to play Santa! I thought they were going to make you, considering the white hair and all..."

He gives you a quick glare and a huff.

"There is no 'bright side', bein' stuck at some run down mall playin' pretend for some stupid brats".

Though he protests, you can tell he's all bark, no bite. You know the boy far too well at this point to believe his lies. In actuality, he was great with kids. He's discussed what your potential future children would look like with you in length. And you know of his endeavors taking care of that little girl back in the human realm, doing whatever her guardian witches demanded of him just to make sure she'd have a good life.

"Didn't you specifically volunteer to help Simeon and Luke with this whole Santa Meet and Greet event?", you question, calling him out on his indifference.

His face erupts in a blush as he looks off to the side. "That's... only 'cause I knew you'd be doin' it too so... I wanted to be... ya know."

You smile, pulling him into a hug and adjusting his decorative hat.

"You're really too sweet for your own good, you know that?", you say taking his hand in yours.

"Now come on, I believe Ms. Claus is waiting for us", you wiggle your eyebrows and laugh, pulling him out onto the floor.

As you approach and his brain processes exactly what it is he's looking at, he bursts out laughing.

"Is that Simeon in a grandma costume?" he questions, quickly pulling out his D.D.D to snap a picture with his phone.

"He couldn't find a Ms. Claus so he decided to just be her," you explain, trying to hold back laughs yourself.

Your laughter and smiles continue into the night, the two of you finding yourselves having more fun than you expected, corralling children into lines and making sure Beel-Claus heard all their wishes.

"Ya know, we'll be bringin' our kids to one of these events some day", he blurts out, staring at you with the most loving eyes anybody could give somebody else wearing an elf costume.

"I can't wait", you grin. "Hopefully not dressed as Santa's helpers though."

Hey, allo anon with an ace partner here. I wanted to say thank you so much for the well wishes! I figured I would send this in here again, so anyone else who is curious about what this experience looks like from the other side can see it.

My girlfriend came out to me a little over 2 years into our relationship. At the time it surprised me a lot, because she'd never given me any signs that she wasn't enjoying what we were doing. After we talked more I understood that she wasn't repulsed by sex and she didn't hate it, but she didn't really love it either and wanted to stop doing it for a while (so a sex-neutral ace).

Honestly, at the time, I did get anxious about it. Not just because of social conventions, but because I had viewed sex as an important bonding part of our relationship. I don't do well with change, and I was super worried about how a lack of sex would change our dynamic. I also had some insecurities about my own body, and my girlfriend admitting that she didn't see me as sexy was upsetting. But after speaking to my therapist, I realized that I was projecting my own issues on to the relationship. So I spoke with her again, and she reassured me that she wanted to be with me, and that she was confiding these feelings because she trusted me. She likes how I look, she just doesn't have the same sexual impulses I do.

So, I realized this was pretty much like cuddling. I love physical touch a lot, and I want to cuddle for a much longer time than she does. I like it when someone lies on top of me. She doesn't want me on top of her chest during cuddling. She still cuddles with me, but she tells me when she's satisfied, and we stop.

A few months went by, and I noticed that she wasn't spending any less time with me; she was actually spending more. We would still call every evening when we didn't meet up in person, we would still joke around, and she still told me she loved me and did everything she could to show it to me. We also began trying out new stuff together, and playing games and watching stuff more often. We also still had plenty of physical intimacy with things like cuddling and kissing, which made me really happy.

I realized that I didn't feel like anything was missing from the relationship. I just needed her to show and tell me she loved me in the ways she normally did. Sure, I am still attracted to her that way, but it wasn't something that would make or break the relationship.

It's been years since she came out, and at this point, I never expect anything sexual. It happens rarely, and I always check in with her multiple times before and during. We stop at any point she tells me. There are quite a few hard boundaries about what is and isn't off limits, and I always keep them in mind. I would rather satisfy myself forever than make her uncomfortable, and she knows it.

It's been over 5 years and we are still going strong. I am hoping to ask her to marry me in the next few years, because honestly, I can't picture wanting anyone else by my side. She is kind, funny, beautiful, intelligent, and treats me well. I could never ask for anything more from a partner.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing. I myself definitely lack knowledge of what it feels like from an allo's perspective, so this was very educational for me, but beyond that... You have no idea how much hope this gives me.

From you being aware of how much sex meant to you in the context of your relationship and still being fine without it, to just... Heck, even your therapist for not blaming her for the situation. Therapy is still very much, in my country at least, an area where the absence or lower levels of sexual attraction will be hastily labelled as something wrong physically or mentally, so... Dungeon Meshi Liveblog: Some Much-Needed Downtime TBH

ok I kinda read these species-swap chapters quickly without commenting 2 nights ago bc I REALLY wanted to catch up to the show, and honestly I didn't have much to say? It was a fun showcase of some different species talents, and introduced multiple fun problems for the characters to solve [takes notes in DM]. But it didn't seem to move either plot or characters forward much. Some notes:

Honestly it's surprising that there's only been 1 count of food poisoning so far, when they're trying SO MANY new things. One must credit Senshi's cooking skills!

This might be the single funniest joke so far:

I've seen multiple posts saying Senshi's elfsona reveals him to be feminine by dwarf standards, and I'm genuinely BAFFLED by that take because it is SO obvious that Senshi's elfsona reveals him to be 1. the Hottest Man You Have Ever Met, and 2. HAIRY. We have seen 0 other elves with facial hair. I dug up that showcase of different elves and 0 of them have facial hair. In the Tolkienien lore from which all modern fantasy, or certainly this sort of fantasy, is derived, exactly 2 elves in the history of the world are said to have had facial hair. Elf!Senshi has a tiny little moustache. Elf!Senshi isn't feminine, he is the HOTTEST, HAIRIEST bear in the metaphorical gay club.

...it's possible that he's more of a himbo than we realize, though.

I don't know what's up with Kensuke and I AM worried that it's being directed by the demon. I want it to be Laios's friend so bad...

It occurs to me that "the winged lion is actually the demon at the root of all of this" is probably the biggest spoiler I've gotten, and I didn't even realize how huge a spoiler it was because I DIDN'T get spoilered for the fact that, so far as the characters know, the lion is supposed to be a helpful god. Don't play with spoilers, kids! Even if you want to read the juicy meta!

This initial fight with the gargoyles is probably my new second-favorite "Laios is really quickly analytical and problem-solving in combat" moment (the living armor fight is still #1). He sees how everyone is failing, prevents more problems as he can, realizes they can't win and puts together what pieces they need to get out. In group social dynamics, he's a mediocre leader at best, but he's a superb combat tactician.

Laios is just living in his own little after-school special, and I love him for that.

That first panel is definitely support for the theory that the 50-60yr life expectancy of "short-lived" races like tallmen, orcs, kobolds and halffeet is shorter than it should be, relative to their ages of maturity, because the long-lived races control and hold most of the resources. It's even possible that their ages of maturity SHOULD be even older, but social conditions force them to become "adults" at a younger developmental age than dwarves, gnomes and especially elves!

Panel 3 is Marcille mentally shoving Chilchuck higher on her list of Lives to Extend by Whatever Magic I Can Learn.

I love how the way they figure out that the mushrooms' effects are easily reversible is literally by thinking through the greater social worldbuilding implications of the effects.

^This is the single most Dad we've ever seen Chilchuck...topped only by that 'carry child like a football' a moment later. Actually, he yeets Marcille a LOT while tall - here, over the jump in the travel montage, with Laios to make a loop for the gargoyle...which I'm dead certain is an indication of how he physically treated his daughters. Those kids got casually, affectionately tossed like salad.

I love how Senshi is still musing on this soul = egg metaphor, and I LOVE how both times now that we've seen Laios genuinely lose his temper, it's because someone was saying "why are you just being excited about eating monsters when Falin is in danger?!", and he's snapping because he is fucking NOT dismissing his sister in favor of eating monsters, he is doing EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER to save her and it just so happens that the only plans with a smidgen of success involve leaning into eating monsters. And by trying to stop him from that, you're stopping him from saving Falin.

Laios, how tf do you remember the Wink? I'm 99% sure Kabru never once winked in your interactions; I WAS looking for it. Was he just exuding wink energy? (I mean...yes.)

The dramatic irony jokes in this chapter are on POINT. Chilchuck: "There's no way this thing still works" [tram door slams shut on his heels, cars immediately starts moving]. "You won't find a military company in the dungeon" [smash cut to Shuro, Namari and Kabru unhappily leading the Canaries into the dungeon]. Impeccable.

So I went to Fan Expo yesterday! I wish I bought tickets for two days instead of one, i couldn't do all that I wanted. Most of my day was just waiting in line to meet voice actors.

Buuut the highlight of my day is that I met Dee Bradley Baker! I got a selfie with him and I asked what was his favorite Spongebob character to play. He said Bubble Bass's mom. He did voice impressions of them both. Its so weird to hear the voices come out of him since I'm used to hearing it on the TV. It was great though.

He LOVED my Slappy cosplay and said it was freaky. I am so so happyyyy. When I took a selfie with him, my friend said some lady also took out her phone to snap a picture of my cosplay. It may not be the most polite thing to do without asking but I really don't mind it lmao

It was my dream to go as Slappy since the first time I ever went to Fan Expo. Which isn't long ago but still. I felt like I was wearing his skin✨

I spent the past week making the head out of paper mache and I'm very proud of it. It's not particularly strong because I was figuring this out while it was foing along. I spent most of my time sculpting and ensuring it LOOKED like Slappy, I didn't give much consideration towards visibility (his mouth is a seeing hole but you can just barely see. Also towards the end of the day, it began cracking around his jaw area so I couldn't wear it anymore. It's fine and easy to fix, I do kinda want to fix it up and make it stronger. Probably put a helmet on the inside and pad out the inside. I also want to give him false eyelashes lmao.

I had a lot of fun painting him though. It was like doing his makeup UwU he's also actually wearing makeup since I used an eyeshadow pallette to use as a highlighter on his skin. He's sparkly in person.

I also made his dorsal fin (I followed a basic fairy wings tutorial to make it) and my sister helped out and made the little gloves from socks. She finds this costume horrifying. I think that's the best part. I chased her around a bit as Slappy.

I also attended a panel and got an autograph from Neil Newbon who voices Astarion from Baulders Gate 3.

Mainly because my friend has been obsessed with the game lately. I didn't think I'd care much until I actually met him. Hes actually wonderful and witty and polite and professional, I could go on and on about it. My friend and I were both gushing about it. Even for the brief moment of meeting him at the table and he shakes your hand with both hands and looks you in the eye AHHHH✨✨✨😭😭

I ended up missing photo opportunity to meet Spongebob because the line was so long but this is a rare moment where I think it was worth it.

Especially since despite all of that, there are many folks who asked for pictures. Especially older folks. They were able to tell right off the bat that it was Peter Lorre related!

And the ones who were younger and closer to my age were still able to get it. I got a lot of people asking "is that Gomez Addams?" because Gomez is Peter Lorre inspired. Which was the PERFECT opportunity to infodump and tell them that Slappy and Gomez are both caricatures of Peter Lorre. I actually have a printed picture of Peter Lorre that I kept in my tote bag just for this purpose <3

When I was standing in line, one man was looking at the Slappy head for a bit and said "he has a face only a mother could love. He reminds me of a certain actor" to which I just had to say "Peter Lorre!" Hehehehehe

There was also a paramount section where they had Spongebob mini golf.

I actually met a dude while I was in line and he was also a Hardcore Spongebob fan. Its actually crazy to find someone as deranged as I am irl. It was soooo much fun just chatting with him. We ended up traded socials. I kinda wish I stuck around longer but we didn't have much time left ro really explore the con so my friend and I did a mad dash trying to get through as much as we could before the con closed.

All in all, I had fun. I'll probably reuse this costume next year. Perhaps I could find a brown tailcoat suit too so the cosplay can be 100% accurate.

Make a vision board!!

If you haven't already, vision boards are a beneficial and aesthetic approach to mapping out your goals, aspirations, and new year’s resolutions regardless of the season! Simply looking at your vision board could guide you into staying on track for tasks you may not be very motivated to tackle.

(Fun fact! ୨୧ — Vision boards are scientifically proven to help you achieve more goals!)

Whether it be physical or digital, vision boards are an essential to staying on track with your resolutions. Some of my favorite apps to print off pictures are FreePrints and Shutterfly. For those of you who might not want to pay for prints, a fun and easy alternative is Picsart collages! Curate an "affirmations" playlist!

Some things on this list are both effective and fun to do, such as making playlists! One of my favorite things to do in my free time is make playlists for every vibe, mood and aesthetic under the sun, and the new year is no exception! New year's is the perfect time to revamp and turn into the best you that you can be. What better way to enter the new year than with a brand new life soundtrack?

Songs such as Just like magic - Ariana Grande, Greedy - Tate Mcrae, Pretty Girl Rock - Keri Hilson, Mantra - Jennie and Feather - Sabrina Carpenter are perfect additions to curating your stereotypical 'it girl' playlist. However what songs work for me may not work for you, so be sure to add what makes you motivated; not what TikTok says you should be motivated by!

Organize your life on Notion!

Personally, Notion is one of my favorite apps for productivity! When used correctly, it can be very motivating. From reading lists to habit trackers to to-do lists, Notion has it all! The app is perfect for attending to every need you could possibly have, and for girls like me who have zero idea where to start with organizing their life, Notion is a godsend.

The hard part however is actually figuring out how to make it aesthetic. My favorite way around this is to search and find coquette or dainty templates and make them my own. That way, I can still have something that screams me but without spending half of my day trying to figure out how to make a sentence italicized! Once you find a template perfect for your needs, simply tweak it to fit your tastes, plug in your information and you're done! You're officially organized!

Participate in some good old retail therapy!

Now this "step" may be a tad self indulgent, but hey if it works and keeps you motivated what's the harm in that?! The way I think of it, is a reward system. Say it's finals week and you really don't want to study but Sol De Janeiro just released a new perfume that you really want! It might not be the best motivation in the school department but who are we kidding? Motivation is motivation as long as it's not hurting anyone!

Even for working out, buying some cute new workout attire might be the only thing that gets you into keeping that gym membership. Who am I to judge? I don't even have a gym membership! If buying a little reward or sweet treat keeps you on the right track and focused on your goals, by all means CoquetteCouture has your back!

Surround yourself with people who are motivated too!!

I cannot stress enough how important it is to find the company you want to become. The saying "birds of a feather flock together" is truer than some would care to admit. My best friend is my ultimate lifeline, every time I am in my own head she is there pulling me out of a funk. Which is exactly what some of you need! If your friends are all cutting class, ignoring homework etc. of course you're going to fall into the same habits!

My friends are some of the kindest and most hardworking people I know. (Totally not biased.) They do so much for me which in turn makes me want to be at a level where I can return it, and you can't do that if you've slipped into a massive funk! Doing things together, whether on the phone or in person can relieve so much of that pressure knowing you have someone to rant to if needed. Find a friend group like mine and I guarantee you'll notice results, not only in productivity but in your mental state too!

Surround yourself in inspiration!

Romanticization is the key to living your dream life and making every day feel productive. Waking up in the morning in a room filled with your personality is a blessing! Having a device to even read this blog is a blessing! Not every day is going to be full of good moments, but with the right attitude every day can be a good one! Surrounding yourself with things that make you feel ready to conquer the world can do wonders to the way you view things!

My personal favorite ways to romanticize my life is pretending to be the very person I am manifesting to be reality. Act like your goals are something you already have and watch the motivation to actually have it flow through you. Watching youtubers with similar aesthetics to mine definitely help certain goals of mine! My top 3 currently are Layla Blue, Adelala and Fernanda Ramirez! However, I would like to say that inspiration and envy are very different things! You should not be surrounding yourself with influencers that you feel compelled to compare yourself to! You are amazing as you are, and jealousy is a disease you do not want to catch! Remember we are all human just trying to make it through life, and just because your life isn't identical to the ones on Instagram does not mean you are without in any way! Be authentically you, not inauthentically someone else!

Perfect your routine and stick to it!

Now for the most dreaded part of this guide... making a routine. Being a Pink Pilates it girl is much easier in theory than it is in reality. Nevertheless, to truly make 2025 a year of actually completing goals instead of tossing them February 1st some discipline is necessary. This is coming from the queen of procrastination! Motivation is one thing, but discipline is a whole other spectrum. Discipline is the most important step of this whole list, and finding it is easier said than done. Here are my personal tips to keep that side of you focused on the bigger picture! ୨୧ - Picking a bedtime and sticking to it! (With a few exceptions, we're all human)୨୧ - Deciding what your morning and night routine constants are! (Ex. My morning routine consists of: Gratitude journaling, Brushing my teeth/Skincare, Breakfast etc) ୨୧ - Not only have friends to hold you accountable but hold yourself accountable!!୨୧ - Use your playlist to boost your spirits!

In conclusion...

Being an it girl is a mindset, and truly making this your year is going to look different for every single one of you reading this but I hope my guide can help you manage the struggles of even getting started! Because let's be honest, wanting to start your journey is being better is first step of organizing your life! CBS Ghosts 4x08 and 4x09

Hello so this is gonna be Two parts because the episode was two parts so get ready to listen to me twice (I mean or not that is fine too) (HI THIS IS SO LATE I KEEP WRITING ON IT AND THEN GETTING BUSY!)

Also they are not broken up by episode they are broken up by storyline cause I’m pretty sure like most of the next post will be me freaking about H-money snippets.

Festive spoilers ahead

Ok so quick overview I fucking loved this episode. Like genuinely it had so much going on and it scratched a very specific itch in my little tv fueled brain.

Sassapis is a 500 Year Old Virgin

Awesome actually that’s what I figured. I kinda love the idea that he is ace and just is not a fan. Thor tried so hard to keep his secret he really did he doesn’t really know how relationships actually work. He also really did not need to add that whole still a virgin after death he really coulda just left it and flower probably woulda forgot lol. Flower also does not know how relationships work so her saying he had to tell her was a bit rough but I am glad that we keep seeing parts of these characters that show how grey they really are. CAROL I genuinely love how insane she is like when we see her she makes me giggle like a mad woman so her being like “you can’t handle this” like that woman is a FREAK. And you know what good for her. (I also kinda hate her cause she’s terrible but it’s like fun hate)

SASS AND THOR ARE BEST FRIENDS I WILL SOB. It stands to reason that Thor would have learned Lenape but having the confirmation is lovely. I really enjoyed that they were like little toddlers yes in fact I do want to go see a moose carcass we’re besties now. It is so sweet.

Double Possession/Sam and the Core Four

Oh my god. Rose’s Nancy impression is probably like one of the funniest and best impressions. Like she nailed it. It even sounds like her! The basement ghosts probably should have warned them they know they aren’t that smart but oh well. Nancy being the reason that Champa likes Sam is hilarious like she is actually going insane and that is what you like. I feel bad that Sam was excluded for so long but after she finally is I think she has a better chance at bonding. Rip the car though Nancy was really not very nice for that. Jay telling his mom to chill and try to be mean is very wife guy of him. I’m probably forgetting things now cause it’s been a few days but I really loved that Sam got added and I love that we met Jays family (also his full first name is Jayanth idk why I just automatically assumed it was just Jay but it’s a very good name) and now this post is incredibly long so I am going to stick Jays relationship to his dad in part two lol.

Also absolutely crazy random tangent but I just learned Hetty’s middle name is Eleanor and I just like that.

Anyway part two will exist sometime soon hopefully but I am also going on a study abroad trip for like two weeks so I will be very busy. So idk

I took a commission recently and just wanted to vent a little for a sec.

-Rant ahead-

First off, I’d like to say that I really appreciate and am flattered when people reach out and want to commission me! That’s money that could be spent on more immediate things like food or material items so having someone want a personal piece from me does mean a lot to me - I recently started being active again and although I don’t take commissions very often, I will on occasion and its 90% normally a nice exchange where I can work on something that someone is happy with and I can get some pocket money too.

I haven’t made an updated commission sheet since 2017 because I wanted to do it once I felt like I had decent enough time to open up commission slots and to figure out decent pricing. Because of this, when people would reach out to me, I felt bad about charging more than what I had in my original commission menu (which tbh was low to the point where at some points the time spent =/= the price of the commission) so I took a lot of them at my old rates. Also, I really wanted to work on getting my art to a caliber where I’d be happy with it since I want to do my best especially when someone’s paying me. Commissions take priority over my own projects also since I don’t want to push stuff down with my own projects when I was literally paid to do something. My boyfriend and friends have been encouraging me to update my prices to make it more fair to me so I’ve been trying to do so while still considering making it manageable for whoever does get my commissions.

Recently, I started being active on Bluesky and someone reached out to me claiming to be a “big fan” from way back when on Tumblr (circa 2016) so I was pretty happy to reminisce and talk about old fallout accounts we missed and even drew two quick sketches for fun for them. They started talking about wanting some art from me but I started to get a weird vibe from some of the messages. Commissions can be pricey so I tried to be understanding so when they eventually asked for a comic commission, I tried giving a pretty affordable price for a very simple comic page ($40) since it was mainly 1 main picture with just two small panels toned since they kept splitting hairs. Apparently being more than petrol would have been criminal. I got other comments and voice mails from this person that made me a bit uncomfortable but I shrugged it off that maybe they had just gone through a bit and ultimately meant well.

After more convo, it seemed they weren’t actually very familiar with my work. All good though it wasn’t necessary to say it if they weren’t? I got to work, looked at the references and managed to get this done in twoish days. I had some time during Christmas Eve so got a bit done then and since they emphasized wanting to get “the most for their money” I was also requested to give them the main pic, pic without dialogue and the panels separately so I did. There was no extra charge for that. I sent it to them and they were happy and started asking about another commission and that’s when I got upset.

It’s perfectly fine to say you aren’t in a position to commission at this time. It is absolutely understandable - all of us are trying to get by right now and commissions and art are luxuries and not something I expect someone to follow through with if they can’t do it…but to literally talk down to me when I’ve already tried to keep my prices manageable is very shitty. It doesn’t matter how many fucking hearts you put there either lol. There are people I’ve given freebies and discounts because I figure if we can make something work, I can maybe shave a little off. It’s incredibly disheartening when I try to be nice to people who say they’re so sad their oc isn’t drawn/oh no arts so expensive these days and then get met with this sort of attitude.

The Fallout Community is very warm and inviting and I’ve met so many great people through it but I’ve also had my fair share of shitty experiences too and to have someone really question the worth of your work over $30/$40$ is pretty awful. Just nicely say you can’t afford it at this time and go on your way - no sob stories or voicemails or haggling or pointing fingers over price. The entitlement is insane.

Been thinking about actually sitting down and writing a full fledged shuggy fic, and Idk if anyone's thought of this yet.

Disney's Robin Hood. I think I had the idea because I've seen people make art of shuggy as that one scene from The Aristocats ("Wow, your eyes are like sapphires! Gee... bet that's pretty corny, though, huh?"), but I don't see a whole lot of other Disney classics. I also think Robin Hood can be very easily turned into a shuggy AU- two childhood friends who separated and then meet again after they've become adults, one being this largely famous icon who the people adore and the people in power hate, the other finding themselves in a somewhat prestigious position so to speak.

Right now, I've only been deciding which character would fit which role the best. Aside from obvious ones, of course. Like who else could be Little John, it's clearly gotta be Benn Beckman. Luffy will be Skippy (the little bunny boy who was given Robin's hat and bow). And since Buggy will be Maid Marian, I think it would be fitting to have Sir Crocodile fill the role of Prince John.

I did have a momentary crisis for King Richard. On one hand, I'm all down for Roger coming back from the crusade and immediately setting up a wedding for Shanks and Buggy. But on the other, I do want to have Ace in the story and I don't know how I would explain him not living in the castle aside from a very weak "he doesn't wanna be a stuffy prince and live with his father". Instead, I shall have Cobra as King Richard. Which leaves me with just figuring out an explanation for how exactly Buggy got in his court and what his court position is. (If Roger was King Richard, Buggy would be his ward)

Instead of being King of the Pirates, Roger here will be known as King of the Bandits. A notorious legend, even after being publicly executed.

I think this is a fun idea. I keep picturing the part where Skippy and the other kids meet Maid Marian, which I'll get to rewrite as like the mini Orange Town encounter because it's literally Buggy and Luffy. Honestly, if this movie was written as more of a tragedy, this would be THE shuggy movie.

On a side note, Shanks as Disney's Robin Hood makes me think of this one author's characterization of Shanks. Rewatching the movie, I just keep thinking of their fics Stages of grief and Fortnight (highly recommend these two fics btw, they're so good). Would anyone agree with me that Shanks just might be Robin Hood coded? Just a little?

Anyway, yeah. Imma try to not abandon this idea like every other idea I have. Sooo, I guess keep a lookout! And if anyone has any character suggestions, I'm more than welcome to them. Like, who the heck am I gonna have as the Friar guy? Or Alan-A-Dale, the narrator/minstrel?

his idea has been rattling around in my brain like a little gremlin who just snorted five lines of coke and drank an entire can of monster energy

I was extremely reluctant to actually get this idea out there because my little autism creechur brain was 100% convinced that it was the most cringy shit ever created and i would be violently and incessantly beaten down by the very fact that i had posted something so blasphemous on the internet by my very own conscience

But at this point i feel like there’s no point in keeping it in or else it’ll just infect my brain forever and i’ll never be able to think about anything else so if it is disgustingly cringy i suppose i’ll just have to embrace the cringe and deal with it

Ok fine admittedly if it is cringe i’ll probably just disable reboots and comments on this post and adamantly deny its existence if anyone brings it up

So uh

It’s sorta an expansion of that “UTMV but Ink is really fucking short” idea i had a while ago

So like it’s like when Ink tried to destroy his soul it did the refusing to shatter thing for no particular reason other than i couldn’t think of a better way to cobble together an explanation for why he still has one

So it still made all his memories go away but it also reverted him back to the age in which such a mentality would be expected aka a baby

As for how he left his AU after this that’s something that i have to talk about Nightmare and Dream’s weird convoluted story in this AU for you to understand

So unlike normal Dreamtale instead of Dream being a perfect angel that everyone loves and Nightmare being jealous of him he’s a belligerent little shit with anger issues that everyone just kind of puts up with because he’s the guardian of positivity so they can’t really hate him

Nightmare isn’t jealous of him and is instead self-conscious because everyone hates him for no reason even though he’s just a shy bean who’s trying his best and he thinks something must be wrong with him

So one day some kids decide that it would be fun to climb the tree and steal an apple. Nightmare sees them doing this and climbs after them, and they get into a slight scuffle which ends with one kid falling out of the tree with a couple apples. When Nightmare goes to make sure he’s ok, the kid shoves an apple in his mouth for bullying reasons.

Nightmare does the whole explodey goop thing, but he doesn't go crazy or anything, and instead it hurts so much he accidentally thrashes his tentacles too much and levels the whole area, killing the kids and obliterating the tree.

Dream comes running and yells at Nightmare for destroying the tree and killing the kids even though it’s clearly not his fault. And then uuuh i don’t really know the other stuff about Dreamtale after the whole Nightmare eating all the apples part so bing bang boom some shit happens and now Dreamtale is uninhabitable and Dream and Nightmare decide to fuck off and go protect the multiverse instead.

Dream solves all his problems with violence and Nightmare solves his problems by either pretending to have an intent to kill or curling up on the floor and crying. (he just like me fr (i’m totally not projecting here (why would you think such a thing))) also Dream isn’t allowed to enter the Omega timeline for anger management reasons

Some bullshit happens that results in a Swap!Sans exiting his universe right as a reset happens so that’s how i shoehorn Blue into being a character

Also Error is still here by the way he’s still destroying universes and stuff nothing much is different about him

Speaking of Error, at one point he notices Ink’s AU and moseys on over to destroy it as usual. Nightmare and Blue jump in to protect the AU, but when they realize Ink is the only one there, they decide to just distract Error instead of actually fighting him while they get Ink out of there. Blue grabs Ink, and Ink uses his magic AU powers or whatever to sense the coordinates of Blue’s AU and teleports there to get away from Error. After they get Ink to the Doodlesphere, (Error can’t go the the Doodlesphere in this AU) they realise they can’t just dump him in the Omega timeline, because if he gets stressed he’ll read the coordinates of someone's AU and teleport there, and there are so many characters from so many AUs there, it’ll be unreasonably difficult to find him if he does. so they decide that the best course of action is to keep him in the Doodlesphere to protect him from Error themselves.

Oh yeah Ink is also mute for some reason

Honestly I don't think posting about this will help me stop thinking about it. In order to, like, not get bored in the undertale fandom, you have to constantly make AUs because focusing on one AU doesn't really work unless you want an extremely convoluted story that drags on forever. The only other option is to make an alternate multiverse, so you can just fuck about with no real storyline. But that gets old too after a while, and if I don't have access to drawing tools I just get lost in this one repeating storyline with stupid amounts of angst because it’s not interesting without angst. 

Being in a fandom does kind of stifle your creativity after a while, but the very fact that I'm hyperfixated on undertale makes it hard to tear myself away and try other things even if I know I should. That’s part of the reason I'm trying to get back into writing my wolf story, so I have something else to think about,. the problem with that is, it isn’t an open storyline. I know how it’ll end and what will happen next, so I can't really imagine random circumstances to chuck the characters into since that would never realistically happen in the world I created.

The moral of the story is my school better fix the weird restrictions on every single decent drawing website in existence or I might explode
