and you can also commit to doing high maintenance things on a more regular basis so that u can maintain urself without too much effort through things like learning how to do and maintain ur own brows, waxing etc.

COLLECT THE BASICS ;

if you invest in supplies to do ur own procedures then you can save a lot of money + you'd be learning a new skill that u can POTENTIALLY monetize off of. its always good to be self sufficient so make sure to invest in things to do ur own beauty procedures. things like...

nail lamp + nail polishes, files, acrylic nails, press ons ETC

facial steamers and other facial tools

but collecting the basics include things like hair rollers, facial masks, things that u can find at target and easily restock if u needed to.

HAIR, SKIN, NAILS ;

i refer to hair skin and nails as the BASE. i think that if u have ur hair skin and nails together then EVERYTHING will look put together so they have top priority. learn ur hair type and how to take care of and style ur hair type properly in order to keep it healthy.

learn ur skin type and how to take care of it properly, i recommend my skincare master post if ur looking for a place to start. and to maintain perfect nails i recommend trimming + shaping weekly and invest in a good nail gel and cuticle oil to keep ur nails on 10.

HOT TIP ; to grow out my nails i like to soak them in a mixture of water, salt and olive oil for 15-20 minutes…💬🎀

ur health makes a huge difference in the way that u look and feel which is why its important to get adequate sleep, exercise and eat foods that are healthy for you in order to have a balanced diet. make sure that ur drinking enough water and sweating out toxins.

Spencer wrings his hands behind his back, shifting from one foot to the other unhappily. He hasn't felt this nervous since he was young —his PhDs have acted as a shield for years now. Even if he doesn't know what to do, he physically cannot be stupid. 

He feels pretty stupid. Less when you look up, smile blinding and sticky with gloss. He's thought about how it would feel to kiss you before and he tries desperately to push the thought away now, his hands shaking where they're hidden. 

"Hey, Spencer Reid," you say, lightly teasing as you wave him toward you. "How are you?" 

"I'm good." 

"Yeah?" You gesture at the empty seat in front of you. "Are you having lunch?" 

The bureau cafeteria is less of a cafeteria in the kitchen sense and more of a staff room, though hot food is served at the very back. There are couches toward the patio of an outdoor area to the left. You sit at one of the tables near the doors. The air is cold around his ankles as he sits with you. 

"No, I– I came down for coffee, but the jug is empty." It's a bad lie. Luckily you have no idea that there's a kitchen in the BAU offices. "You're not?" 

You turn your laptop screen to him. "I ate my lunch at my desk. I'm just catching up with my show." Your laptop has stickers around the screen, silver shiny stars and tiny pink hearts that look like they're made of jelly. There's a closed bottle of nail polish resting near the keyboard. "And I'm gonna touch up my nails, too. They're always chipping." 

"They look perfect to me," Spencer says. 

You beam at him, beatific, so, so pretty, he could die. He might. "Thanks, honey. You'd look cute with painted nails, have you ever thought about it?" 

Spencer honestly forgets about his nails. He should take better care of them. He thinks about hiding them under the desk. "I don't think I could do it." 

"No one's good at it, at first. I'd paint them for you, if you wanted. I have a couple of things in my bag." 

Spencer's relieved to present freshly trimmed nails to you for painting. Your polish is a light blue colour, milky, and he assumes it'll be the one you use on him, but you decide to ruin his life, taking his hand into one of yours. You hold his fingers in a way that presents the nail as you brush cuticle oil around the edges of his nails with a small pen brush. You chatter as you do in your way, all sweet and gentle in mirror of your touch. 

He's proud of himself for keeping his cool. To have you touching him for so long, so kindly, to have your attention, it has him squirming with a mixture of pleasure and horror. He wants to be seen by you but he doesn't know if he likes what you're looking at. 

"You have really lovely hands," you say, using the tip of one of your nails to scrape stray wet polish off of his skin, "do you play piano?" 

"You can tell?" he asks. 

"Pianist's fingers," you say. "That's a thing, isn't it?" 

"I haven't played much since I was younger. I got distracted by other stuff." 

"Maths," you surmise. "And criminology?" 

Everything. He pushed away a want for human connection with books and education until it got too much. Even the wisest of honeybees will brave heavy rain for a beautiful flower, and that's sort of how he feels about you. He knows it's stupid, knows it's doomed, but he couldn't not try to speak to you. You're the prettiest girl he's ever seen, all your lip colours and shimmery eyeshadows, the chirpy way you talk, the earnestness of your please and thank yous. 

Your hands. The silver ring on your index finger dotted with tiny pink stones. Your bracelets. The smell of your perfume and your soft sweaters. 

"Done," you announce, an uncharacteristic hesitance to your tone. "Are they okay?" 

You've done a perfect job. "They're so neat. Thank you. I– I love it." 

Your eyes linger on his hands. "I love when guys wear nail polish. You're even handsomer now, it's crazy. I didn't know it was possible." 

Spencer should have more style for sure, but he asks you to dinner right then and there. 

You smile until the lashes kiss in the corners of your eyes and say yes. This new place opened just around the corner from your apartment, and you've been trying to drum up the courage to ask him all week. When Spencer hears that he almost passes out.

Rhys

Rhys is a firm believer in hands speaking of how well you care for yourself, so the man have perfect hands.

Rhys keeps his nails neat and trimmed, his cuticles cut, and his nail bed moisturized.

Rhys has fine hand creams imported from across the seas. It's made with water from some river you don't remember the name of. It matches his skincare line. Very spoiled Illyrian baby.

Rhys does have calloused hands, but they are not rough and dry. The calloused mainly rest towards the top of his palm near where his fingers begin. It's one small sigh of his skill with blades.

Rhys like to accessorize, but not too much, a few unique rings and a bracelet

These are some of my favorite hands in all of Hollywood. Say hello to the hands of Alexander Skarsgård. His hands are massive.

Cassian does have rougher hands, but he can not help it. He's tried Rhysie little princess routine, but it doesn't work. That is more than likely due to the fact that he's constantly training and teaching someone.

You truly do not mind, though. Cassian's callouses and small scars in his hands remind you that you are safe. That no one will ever harm you as long as he is around.

One of Cassian's favorite acts of service you provide for him is little at home hand care sessions. You will soak his hands in warm water and then wash and care for them. You trim his nails, apply cuticle oils, and then use a very expensive lotion that helps keep his hands softer.

Cassian's hands are constantly on you. His favorite placement is when he gets to cup under your breasts. Preferably below your shirt. And he doesn't care who sees him doing it. His second favorite placement is your hips or ass.

Cassian does not accessorize since he rarely does not have his hand siphons on. The only jewelry on his hands is his wedding band

Lucien

Soft, warm, and gentle. Lucien's hands are a personification of the male himself.

They are not too large, but they're definitely big, and Lucien has strong hands.

Lucien tries his very best to keep his hands very soft he is constantly greeting and meeting new fae as an emissary, so he ensures his hands are covered while training.

Lucien also knows you appreciate how soft his hands are. He loves watching as you lean into his touch. He loves watching you shiver when he runs them along your body.

It almost confuses him when his hands bring you pleasure. When he watches as you fall apart under his touch.

He has started to care for them more now that he has you. His beautiful wonderful you.

Nail, simple, and with a touch of sparkle.

Nesta keeps her hands very pretty and very soft.

Her nails are also always professionally done on Rhysand's dime.

Nesta goes to the salon once a month. She gets the works. The expensive manicures. Rhys owes her, and she wants pretty hands.

Her grandmother and mama told her hands can make or break a marriage, and this is something she can not shake.

She loves clean, simple polish. Neutral colors or a French tip, that's all. For special occasions, she will do an iridescent polish.

As Lady Death, she tries not to wear too much jewelry, but she does have two favorite rings she wears. One from you, one from Cassian.

Elain

I am a garden hobby girl, so this one was fun.

Elain keeps her nails very short. She is constantly struggling with dirt under and around her nails, so she figures keeping them short is best.

Elain has surprisingly rough hands. A garden is a lot of manual labor, and she refuses to wear gloves, so she constantly dealing with little cuts and callouses.

You bought Elain a nail brush and special soaps meant to help her keep her nails clean so it doesn't interfere with her love of baking or... other activities involving you.

Elain's hands are very small, but they fit perfectly into yours.

Feyre

This is the hands I identified most with.

Feyre's hands are constantly covered in paint now that the lands are in a time of peace.

She's been known to wipe her palette knife off on the back of her hand or dab a paint brush on them if she picks up too much color. Or use them to swatch shades as she's mixing.

It is messy, but you adore it. You love helping her peel off the bigger chunks and helping her scrub them clean.

Underneath that paint, her hands can be a little dry, so you two have been caught many times sneaking into Rhysand's room to steal his hand creme.

Feyre keeps her nails a medium length. She will paint them for fun every so often, but she sees no point since they are typically covered in her medium of choice.

Mor

The baddie of the group.

Mor keeps her hands ready to greet royalty. They are so soft, so well kept, and constantly being pampered.

Mor used hand creme at least once and hour.

She keeps her nails longer, minus two on each hand. Iykyk.

Her nails have to be red. She will not paint them any color but her power color.

She is constantly wearing a ton of rings and jewelry as well.

I personally see Mor as a gold tone girlie.

The only ring she consistently wears is her wedding ring. Otherwise, all her other jewelry is subject to change.

Amren

Nails sharp enough to rip your eye out. Sorry, Lucien.

Amren sees her hands as weapons and her nails as weapons as well. But like all powerful weapons, they need to hidden.

She hides them using fae beauty standards. Manicures, jewelry, nail polish. Amren fully believes she's fooling other fae with those daggers attached to five small fingers but she isn't.

Amren does not do two curtesy nails. Amren is a starfish. You should be spoiling her. Not the other way around.

Finding out she could do jewels on her manicure was a life changing moment for her.

She practically purrs when she gets a fresh set now.

You swear she is secretly a fire drake with the amount of jewelry she has for her hands and on her nails.

GUIDE TO TAKING CARE OF NAILS

DAILY CARE

Avoid nail polishes that contain formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate as they can cause your nails to weaken over time. Highly pigmented polishes can also cause weak nails. To avoid this, take breaks from nail polish and go natural from time to time. 

Use cuticle oils frequently, which varies from the condition of your nails. If you don’t have cuticle oil, vaseline or a lip balm is a good alternative.

Keep your nails away from dirty or wet environments. Dirt can nurture the growth of bacteria and wet nails are weak nails. If you have to be doing things that include excessive moisture or dirt, try to wear gloves of any kind.

Stop biting your nails and picking at them. While both are difficult habits to break, both can destroy the health of your nails. Be very mindful of how you treat your nails.

Wash your hands thoroughly when needed. Before and after you eat, you go to the loo, you handle food etc. When we wash our hands, The grime under our nails is also being washed away.

Nails are not tools. Don’t use them to open cans, remove stickers or open boxes. This will weaken them in the long run and increase the chances of them being chipped or broken. Use the provided tools you have instead.

Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals like cleaning products or acetone-based products. They can strip your nails of moisture which causes breakage

WEEKLY (AT-HOME) MANICURE

If you have nail polish on, don’t peel or pick at it but use a nail-friendly nail polish remover gently with a cotton pad/ball.

After that, if needed, file or trim your nails to your desired length. For smooth cutting, wipe down your nails with a wet cotton ball or wipe. 

Get a bowl of warm water and soap to soak your cuticles in. Then use a soft brush or a clean toothbrush to gently exfoliate your nails. You can usually use a little bit of your body scrub or a tad bit of sugar. Then, dry your hands & nails with a small microfiber towel.

Apply cuticle oil or any cream to moisturise your nails, then massage that it for a few minutes to stimulate nail growth.

Apply your polishes in the correct order. Base coat, nail polish then top coat. 

Moisturise with a nice hand cream!

“JJ!” You called from the bathroom and he came rushing in. “You ok?” Jason asked. “Yes it’s just time to play spa.” You told him and gave him a robe to put on. Jason didn’t complain he just put the robe on. “How do we play?” Jason asked. “First we do a face mask.” You said and grabbed a bottle. You squeezed some of the mask into your hand then put it on to Jason’s face. After his face you did yours. “Now we wait a few minutes.” You said.

Jason would do anything to make you happy and if playing spa makes you happy then he’s happy. You trimmed his cuticles and his nails then filed them. After that you put clear polish on them. “Almost done for you.” You said with a smile. “What about you?” Jason asked. “No I have to go get my nails done tomorrow and they’ll trim my cuticles then.” You told him. “Oh.” He said. You nodded then moisturized his hands then put cuticle oil on them. “Ok that’s done now we wash off the face mask.” You told him. Jason nodded and then you helped him wash it off then washed off your face mask.

You then moisturized his face then yours. You pulled out a little bucket and put warm water then applied cider vinegar. “Put your feet in here.” You told him. Jason did as told then looked at you. “Now we wait.” You said. Jason nodded while you moisturized your face. After a while you gave Jason a foot scrub. “Scrub your feet.” You said. Jason took the watermelon sugar scrub then scrubbed his feet. “Ok good. Now wash your feet on the tub.” You said. Jason lifted his feet and put it in the tub and turned on the water. He cleaned his feet. “Do you want me to scrub your feet?” Jason asked. “Jason you know I can’t handle people touching my feet I have to do it myself.” You said.

“Let me do it.” Jason said. “Fine.” You said. He cleaned the water then you two switched places and you sat down. You put your feet in the water and let your feet soak. After the soak you put your feet in the tub. Jason scrubbed your feet and you tried not to giggle and squirm. “It’s ok baby I’m almost done.” Jason said. You giggled. “Alright I’m done beautiful.” Jason said then washed your feet clean. “Thank you baby.” You said. “Of course doll.” Jason said then dried off your feet. “Now we put on feet mask.” You said. “Feet mask?” Jason asked. You nodded then reached under the sink cabinet and pulled out two feet mask packets. “Oh.” Jason said and took a packet.

You opened the mask then put them on your feet. Jason did the same and you two sat in the bathroom and waited. “How long do we wait?” Jason asked. “Fifteen minutes.” You told him. “Should I order pizza?” Jason asked. “Yes.” You said. “Hawaiian?” Jason asked. “Hawaiian and veggie.” You said. “I forgot my phone.” Jason said. You laughed. “I think I have my phone.” You said and reached into your robe pocket then pulled out your phone. You gave Jason your phone and he typed in your password then ordered the pizza and made sure his card was charged. “Alright pizza and breadsticks have been ordered.” Jason said.

“Breadsticks too?” You asked. “Yes. Breadsticks are necessary.” Jason said. You nodded your head. After fifteen minutes the two of you took off the mask. Jason touched his feet. “Damn my shit soft.” Jason said. You laughed. “Alright my spa shop has closed.” You said. “We gotta play this more often.” Jason said. “Sure baby.” You said. Jason also knew after this he was definitely using your scrub more often for sure.

One of the Vagastromers had eagerly come back with some fascinating winnings from Sinostra--some Frostheimer had bet their new car and lost. While the gambling was certainly to be gently chided over, the minor victory over Frostheim was of more value to the Vagastrom general students. There was, however, a small problem that the whole house couldn't figure out--the electronic key hadn't come with the car, and they couldn't turn it on in the first place.

Alan, after examining the vehicle, went to the only person he knew could help.

"Oooh, not a bad ride." Leo circled the car, dainty fingers running over the smooth, shiny exterior. "These things aren't even a year old. You really screwed that guy, I bet his daddy'd whip his ass if he were here."

He sat atop the car's hood, enjoying the eager eyes on him. "Yeah, I could crack one of these. Shouldn't be too hard."

He resisted the urge to wince as the bunch whooped and high fived with the secured victory. Always so loud at the littlest things. Alan gave him a nod and Sho sighed, going to fetch Leo's 'work' laptop for him.

A few hours(and a non-insignificant payment) later, and Leo handed the Vagastrom student's phone back to him. "There. Bluetooth car key. Make sure your phone's charged or no getting in the car without me."

The general student eagerly thanked him, promising to return the favor later despite already paying him, then turned to his friends as he opened the doors, telling them to get in for a ride. Another little chorus of cheers went through them and they made their way into the vehicle for a drive that hopefully wouldn't get the car confiscated by Darkwick.

"Good job." Alan grunted from where he'd been looming above Leo quietly, having finished maintenance on some of the vehicles in the garage shortly before. Leo predicted his next move, carefully catching his arm with both hands.

"Nope!!!" Leo yelped, tilting his head away to glare up at the Captain. Alan flinched a little, uncertain what was wrong. "Do not pat my head with those oily hands, Cap! We are not getting that shit in my hair today."

"Ah." Alan pulled his hand away to examine it. Although he's been wearing his gloves while working it was, in fact, blackened with motor oil and grime. Leo examined his own hands and clicked his tongue in irritation. He'd saved his hair, but not his skin. "Sorry."

"C'mere." Leo sighed, shutting his laptop with his elbow. He stood and shuffled and scooched it under his arm without using his hands, then grabbed Alan's large wrist and began to guide him to the stairs. Alan, having had gotten closer to Leo and Sho than he'd intended, was oddly becoming used to being led by the little influencer and followed him up the stairs.

When they reached Leo's door he paused and glanced at his hand again before grimacing. He reached over and wiped the oil on Alan's shirt(which hardly bothered Alan himself, as it was already somewhat oily) to the best of his ability before opening it and bringing Alan inside. He'd just wipe it down later.

Finally, Leo led him into his spacious bathroom and the broad vanity top, turning the hot water on high in the sink. Immediately he thrust Alan's hands under the flow of water.

"I know how to wash my own hands. . . ." Alan grumbled as Leo helped to spread the hot water over Alan's large hands with his small ones. "The water's too hot."

"Hot water gets oil off. Suck it up." Leo pulled Alan's hands from under the stream and grabbed the bar of soap he used for washing his hands before placing it into Alan's hands. He rubbed and lathered it into a frothy, sweet-selling lather all over his fingers. Leo grabbed the soap and rubbed it a over Alan's wrists and an inch or two further up before he could wash it off, then grabbed a small brush with hard bristles and furiously worked the dirt out from under Alan's nails. "Your nails are disgusting. I don't just mean from the dirt--why are they so chipped. And your cuticles--I'll be here all day if I keep this up."

Stopped himself from forcefully manicuring the nails of someone who wouldn't appreciate it, Leo shoved Alan's soapy hands back under the steaming hot water and let him rinse them clean. "Dry them with the blue striped towel. Don't touch anything else!"

While Alan dried his hands, Leo washed his own, grabbing a paper towel to dry them with and shut the water off. Alan resisted the urge to rub the back of his neck, sure he would somehow end up being made to wash his hands again if he did so. "Thanks. They're just gonna get dirty again, though."

Leo hummed in acknowledgement and watched Alan impatiently, arms crossed. Alan, confused, looked towards the exit behind Leo. Leo cleared his throat in exaggeration and glared up at him.

". . .What is it?"

"You can pat me now."

Alan blinked and took a moment to process this. "Ah. Got it."

Alan sat his large hand on top of Leo's head, and pat him a few times. Leo smiled, proud of himself, and lifted his head into it, even standing on his toes a little. He tilted his head so Alan's hand would land against his cheek, then grabbed his wrist to hold him still again, rubbing his face into Alan's freshly cleaned hands like a cat. Uncertain what to do, Alan held his hand still until Leo released him.

"Alright! I'm satisfied! Get out." Leo chirped with a smile, moving past him to fix his slightly disheveled hair.

"Oh. Alright." Alan dropped his arm back to his side and made his way out the bathroom and back to the main part of the garage. "Thanks for helping that guy."

"I made money off of it, he gets to ride his fancy car, some nobody in Frostheim lost, everyone was happy. It's whatever! Don't touch anything but the doorknob on your way out. I already have to clean the floor after your filthy boots were in here. . . ."

Kate leaned back a bit, straightening her posture and flexing her fingers. Who knew being a scribe could take such a toll on the body!

She stood from her chair, stretching her back, legs, and arms. Looking over the paper she had just typed, Kate nodded in satisfaction.

It had taken a long time for her typing to become nearly errorless. She smiled to herself as she flopped down on her bed in crown castle, thinking of how clumsy she had been when she first taught herself to type.

It was difficult to find time to actually use a typewriter. The only one she had access to was one at the post office, which she could only use before and after work while the janitorial staff worked.

In order to practice more in the evenings, Kate had written down the letters in the order they appeared on a piece of paper. There was a proper way to go about it, she knew. Certain fingers for a limited amount of keys.

Of course, practicing on paper wasn't nearly as good as using the real thing. Her fingers often bumped other keys when using an actual typewriter, and she often found errors unless she typed very slowly with her head down to look at the keys.

👛 Tracy is definitely NOT a morning person, so everytime she wakes up the first thing she does is check her phone for a few minutes. After that she gets straight up and opens up her curtains to let the light in.

Then she goes to her bathroom and uses a hair band to get her hair out of the way so she can brush her teeth and wash her face with a gentle foam cleanser. After rinsing it out she uses her skincare products; toner sheets, serum, cream and a tinted sunscreen!

🌷 Now she changes clothes, Tracy usually wears cute knit tops with some plaid skirts in basic colors (white, gray or black) and she also wears some dainty jewelry and leg warmers. Remember to put on a hair roller to style your bangs while you do your makeup!

It's time for makeup! Tracy usually does the same makeup routine, eyebrows, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lip tint and a shiny highlighter, oh! also she only puts on a bit of concealer since the tinted sunscreen already works as a glowy foundation.

🍥 Clean your room a little before packing the last things on your bag and spraying perfume to you out to your uni / school or have brunch!

Tracy usually takes digital notes on notion! and she always includes useful links with videos and resources so she can review them later. For language learning though, she copies the vocab on a notebook and reads it before her test so she can have them fresh in her memory. She also always studies listening to ost of her favorite animes, kdramas or manhwas!

If you're curious on how Tracy takes care of her figure you need to know that walking plays a huge role in it! In her vlogs she always goes to most places entirely by walking! You can do this too and start counting how many steps you walk in a day.

If you want to have a selfcare, start your shower routine by taking a long bath, use a bath bomb, some bubbles and candles to set the mood, you can even use a little tray to watch kdramas like tracy!

🛍 Then you can play some music to actually take a shower, take care of your hair with shampoo and conditioner and then clean your body with a cleanser and a loofah.

When you're done it's time for skincare, use some toner pads, serum, moisturizer, eye cream and lip balm! also apply cream on your body and cuticle oil on your nails.

💞 Next you can dry your hair and use some leave-in products to have extra soft and shiny hair!

One of Tracy's keys to look extra cute and pretty always is to get appointments with professionals to get facials, lash perms, haircuts and her nails done!

👚 Tracy usually dines out with her friends or family! After she arrives home she gets comfy so she can have a long study session! If you're a night person, try and get all your assignments done at this time to feel extra productive! And don't forget to have a late night meal/snack.

After getting all her school work done she relax on her bed, often with a sheet mask on (specially on winter) and watch anime or dramas until she falls asleep

extra self care routine⋆.ೃ࿔*:･🍦

this 8 step self care routine is meant to be super DUPER over the top but its intended more so to make u feel like the goddess that u are and to simply pamper, and spoil urself as u should...plus you'll smell like a cupcake after 🎀

warning, LONG post ahead but thats because i tried to be thorough and clear on the steps of this 8-step routine.✨🧁

STEP ONE ; ICING UR FACE

the benefits of facial icing include more radiant skin, helps with spider lines, and blemish control. if u wanna know more about icing ur face i recommend u read this.

but typically you'll fill up a bowl with some water and ice and dunk ur face in the ice in 60 second intervals (thats how i like to do it) or you take an ice cube and run that on ur skin.

STEP TWO ; OILING UR HAIR

i personally dont recommend oiling ur hair overnight, once u apply ur hair oil into ur hair let it sit for 30 minutes - 4 hours depending on how much time u have on ur hands, but if ur gonna do the 8 step self care ritual i would assume u had some time.

use the scalp massaging tool for blood flow to ur head and MASSAGE. imagine all of ur stress seeping out of ur body. it might sound strange, but when im doing this step i imagine myself rearranging and organizing my thoughts 💀.

while ur doing this whole routine i recommend playing an affirmation tape in the background, or ur favorite playlist. 🧁

STEP THREE ; MASKS

next i'll use a spray bottle and wet my hair before going in with my hair mask, and once thats in ur hair use the claw clip to keep ur hair up and out of ur face.

now its time for the facial mask and i recommend keeping kind of an ARSENAL of masks, whether its a liquid or clay mask or sheet masks just have them on u because i usually do face masks of any sort 1-2 times a week for my LUSTROUS glow.

while u have the hair and face masks in, its a good time to do some dry brushing to remove dead skin cells and improve blood circulation. some other masks that u can do to be EXTRA are lip masks and under eye masks.

STEP FOUR ; IN THE SHOWER

wash ur hair as you would usually do, use the body scrub before using a body wash that has similar tones to the body scrub (this is called scent layering) and while in the shower i recommend to do a shower meditation.

if y'all r interested i'll make a shower meditation guide and u can record ur own voice doing the meditation so u can use it ✨

while ur in the shower make sure to be meticulous and take ur time while u wash ur body. do double cleansing so that u can ensure that you're squeaky clean.

now is also the time to shave if u like to do that and remember use a body scrub BEFORE u shave and once ur out of the shower to use a body oil to prevent ingrowns and to just have a smoother shave in general.

STEP FIVE ; OUT OF THE SHOWER

use ur body oil and ur body lotion, this kind of goes along with the before bed slugging notion which gives the SOFTEST most amazing skin in the morning so i highly recommend it.

HOT TIP FROM HONEY ; using a warmed up towel adds to the whole spa experience so i def recommend that, warming up towels/blankets/robes makes me feel so cozy and toasty 🧋✨

the formula for before bed slugging is (body oil + body lotion + a thick body butter/cream)

STEP SIX ; REPAIR AND REPLENISH

once your out of the shower and you’ve slugged ur body, use a leave in conditioner to repair and soothe damaged hair.

use a face milk

cuticle oil

now’s the time to use pimple patches

and things of that nature in general

this ensures that ur being absolutely meticulous and replenishing ur body the proper way. taking care of ur base so that u can make it absolutely GLOW ✨

STEP SEVEN ; FACIAL MASSAGE

use a gua sha and any other facial massage tools to help blood circulation and just be EXTRA. to sculpt ur face like the goddess you are.

facial massage stimulates blood circulation, promoting oxygen flow and nutrient delivery to the skin cells. facial massage helps to release the tension held in the facial muscles, alleviating stress lines and promoting a more youthful appearance.

AND if ur consistent with facial massage, you'll can enhance skin elasticity AND diminish fine lines.

STEP EIGHT ; YOGA AND STRETCHES

nothing feels better then massaging and stretching stiff limbs, especially if u have pains or aches in ur body. look up a follow along, super light, yoga routine or a stretching routine.

i think that a rly good stretch is the perfect way to end ur super duper over the top 8 step self care routine 💗🎀

I wash with disinfectant soap, use hibiclens beneath my arms and anywhere else that’s prone to sweating or odor, and use sunscreen religiously. I’ve done a lot to clear up my KP and lighten my hyperpigmentation, but the most important thing I’ve learned is that all my time and money would mean nothing if I wasn’t consistent. I used to get bad body acne, and after a chest and shoulder peel, a trip or two to the dermatologist, continuous care, starting to wash and change my sheets daily, and really focusing on clearing the scarring, it’s finally gotten so much better and the scarring has nearly disappeared. I shower morning, after exercise, and at night and make sure to moisturize properly. 

I just recently had a 24-inch 2x6 closure and 4 24-inch bundles made into a middle part wig. It’s thick, luscious, bouncy, and it looks amazing. I used Raw SEA Straight bundles, I straighten it with minimal heat and it stays bone straight no matter the weather or humidity, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The hair I use looks healthy, feels amazing, and the price makes sense for the level of quality. I have a lot of wigs but this is in my top five; it works for everyday wear and it looks nice even when it’s tied up so it’s versatile and easy to wear in braid, a bun, or even a low ponytail.

I wear natural makeup most days. I’m currently using products from Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Nars, Hourglass, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay, and Tom Ford and loving how easy it is for me to create natural looks. I’ve been focusing on natural soft matte makeup and really learning how to apply bronzer to emphasize my cheekbones and the results have been better than expected. I’m very good at eye makeup and I love the lip combos that I do, but sculpting my face is the one thing that escapes me. I wear lashes but they’re pretty minimal and I do my eye makeup in a way that makes my eyes look wide open instead of overly seductive.

I wear jewelry every day. I usually wear gold Cartier that I’ve collected over the years or other small pieces, but I make an effort to accessorize. One of my favorite fashion magazines said that the key to looking put together was wearing at least a few pieces of matching jewelry, so I’ve made an effort ever since. I have a really nice pair of diamond stud earrings that I got on my 17th birthday, and I wear them on special occasions. I also have a small collection of more adventurous jewelry and charm jewelry, and then I have a few different tennis and pearl pieces. For everyday wear, I try to keep it basic.

I usually do my nails simply. I either do chrome or french tips; sometimes I do a really nice dark red, but I try to keep them short and neat. I have acrylics and usually do gel polish on them; I use a cuticle oil every day and make sure that I’m getting fills frequently because I want my hands to look good. I’m going to do perfume in this section because I do my spritzes of perfume right after I apply my cuticle oil. I love perfume. I think that perfume is amazing, and it’s an amazing tool, but you honestly do have to be careful with how much you’re applying. There’s nothing worse than the smell of overpowering perfume. I avoid strong perfumes, essential oils, and ouds and limit the number of sprays I do.

- avoid water for atleast 2 hours after applying; this is why before best is the best time so nails can completely dry by the morning )

- nail prepping is a crucial step for long lasting nails (3 weeks+)

• always make sure nails are dry

• be sure too clip, push back your cuticles & buff out your nails.

• use alcohol pad to clean and dry out nail so press on can lay flat on your nails.

• lay all your press ons out and line up each press on for each finger. Make sure they fit perfectly above not on your nail bed. This makes applying easier so you don’t have to try to find and file each nail to fit.

- use good glue! Both company’s listed has amazing glue but here’s my top glue recommendation list.

- always do the sandwich method when applying glue: apply a little in the center of your own nail and some on the press on nail.

…for maintenance:

• always keep glue in your purse ! I didn’t run into nails falling off constantly but if it does stay prepared !

• down time at home. When washing hands do apply blow dryer after washing and drying hands with towel for extra protection.

…for removal:

• if you can get a press on removal kit ! Luxxie has a good inexpensive one here.

• If you don’t want to use kit.

- soak nails in warm soap and water and oil for 10 mins.

- use cuticle nails to gently lift the nail off.

- Use acetone and cotton pad to get any extra glue off your nails.

Coming out in a jagged spray, the water beat against her skin like ice, hard and cold, shivering under it. She worked her hands over the sore, tight muscles, scrubbing clean the grime and dirt from her training. Like a plug had been pulled, she was drained, aching, and exhausted. It felt like basic training all over again. Her tailbone throbbed, her cuticles were a mess, and she felt like a wreck. The Shadow Company was making sure that she was efficient, shifting fluidly, honing her senses that she’d neglected over the years. Lerch wanted to make her into a well-oiled machine.

“Commander wants to see you in his office,” Diapolo told her, rubbing his eyes. Her focus sharpened, wondering what she’d done to warrant a visit to Graves’ office. Since Frost had arrived and he’d introduced her to Lerch, they’d only spoken to each other in passing.

“Did he tell you why?” Frost asked, hoping she hadn’t managed to end up in trouble with the man.

“No, he didn’t.” Dipaolo groaned, settling down in his swivel chair. “And before you say even ask Frost– I don’t want to talk about how I got this bruise.”

“Wasn’t going to ask.” She assured him, getting up from her chair and moving to the door. Racking her brain, she couldn’t think of a reason that would’ve caused Graves to be mad at her. “No, not at all. I just wanted to speak to you about your training and hear about it from you personally. Lerch’s reports have been nothing short of impressive, he said you’ve been adjusting accordingly.” Graves admitted, bringing his hands together, and flexing the knuckles. “So?”

“It’s been fine,” Frost replied plainly, the toe of her boot lightly taping against the wooden floor.

“I thought we’d moved past the stiffness, Frost. We’re a pack, remember?” Frost sighed, knowing Graves would weed the truth out of her, not stopping his questioning until he was satisfied. “Come on now, don’t be shy. If Lerch is doing somethin’ wrong, you can tell me.” “It’s not that.”

“Then what is it? You gotta give me some sense of what’s going on, Frost. I can’t help you if you don’t tell me what’s wrong.” He reminded her, unfolding his hands and running one along the sculpt of his jaw.

“The training as Lerch has told you, it’s been fine. I can see, smell, and hear better than before. Shifting and its pain is manageable for me now, but I feel like nothing’s changed for me. I don’t know, I guess I expected myself to feel a little more whole now that I don’t resent what I am anymore. But something still feels wrong to me.” Graves nods along as she speaks, listening intently to her problems like they were his own. So caring and attentive towards his men, he was the idealized version of a pack leader.

“You been hunting recently?” He asked, still pondering what she said.

“I don’t hunt,” Frost mumbled, causing Graves to cock an eyebrow at her. “No one ever taught me how to.”

“Well, that might be some of your problem, Frost.” He chuckles, standing from his chair. “You’re depriving yourself of the necessary proteins to keep yourself sustained, and I’ve found that a good hunt always eases my mind.”

“If it’s so important, sir, I’ll just ask Erikson or one of the others to teach me.” She promises him, watching as he moves to the door.

“Frost, I’ve neglected to help with your training. It’s my job as your commander and pack leader to ensure you’re being taken care of. And knowing that you can’t hunt game, that’s my responsibility to fix.” Graves insists, motioning for her to get up and follow him. “I prefer to hunt at night, but we can’t be wasting time.”

Soon, hunting would become a thrill for Frost, Graves would take her out in the evening and set her loose, teaching her all he knew about hunting. In time, it became second nature, along with communicating with him while they were phased, learning the language throughout their hunts. And when she wasn’t going after game meat, they’d run. Running until Graves begged her to stop because she was easily faster than him.

“Like a fucking gazelle.” He muttered, leaning against a tree, swallowing the water from his canteen fast. Frost laughed from where she sat on top of the underbrush. "Goddamn, woman."

“Isn’t this what you wanted?” She asked, unscrewing the lid, knowing she could’ve gone another mile out.

“Yeah, but I’m not as young as you. Can’t keep up with you. I mean? Where do you get all the damn energy?” Graves asked, turning to look at her as he continued to breathe hard.

“I don’t know, I just have it.” Frost stretched out her legs, observing how lean they’d become in the few weeks.

“Your father wasn’t a chaser, was he?”

His question settles in her stomach bitterly. She’d only mentioned her father in the past when answering questions about her lycanthropy lineage. The man had been bitten and passed his resentment and rage towards it down to her. Phasing received punishment, and nights out in the cold. Years later, she could still remember the sting of his hand.

“I can't tell you, I only saw him phase once before I left home.” The memory was ingrained in her head like a repeating nightmare, the loud scrapping of teeth and claws, rancid whiskey in his breath, eyes on fire, and her body in pain. "I learned quickly it was better not to speak to him about it."

Graves nodded, he’d assumed the man was neglectful towards Frost seeing the relationship she’d had towards werewolves before he came into her life. But it still rubbed him wrong, especially when Graves thought of his upbringing.

“My father wasn’t exactly a loving man, there was a lot he did wrong when it came to me and my brothers. But what he did do right, was instill pride in us about being werewolves, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. Because I see those like you or Vance whose parents shamed you for your birthright, and it makes me see red. You deserved better than that as a child.” Graves said, looking up through the pine trees at the twilight sky, the shades of orange, purple, and blue.

“You know, I don’t think I ever thanked you for giving me this chance.” Frost pointed out, looking up at him.

“Thanking me? I’m the one who got one hell of a soldier under my wing.” He told her, sitting down next to her, brushing fallen pine needles aside. "I'm grateful you took a chance on me and the Shadow Company."

"Well, you were a very convincing salesmen." She looked over at him, offering him a small smile, his eyes crinkle as he smiled back. There was a warm understanding between them, a mixture of scent and white noise of the forest as they observed each other in silence.

Finally, Graves spoke, his voice clear in her ears. "Well, I tried my best to get the best."

Giving Konig a manicure

I got this idea while I was trimming my own nails. Even though I don't paint my nails often I still love the sensation of getting my hands rubbed down with lotion and having my nails taken care of and I wanted to spoil my sweet baby girl a little bit.

Warnings: Google translated German, swearing, pretty much just fluff

How you convinced your big, scary military boyfriend to let you do his nails is something that no one will probably figure out. You’re not using nail polish though. He specifically requested for you to not use nail polish, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t still pamper him. 

Finally sitting him down and getting out all of your supplies you take his big left hand and roll up the sleeve on his shirt. 

“I hope you’re ready to be spoiled because I’m going to make you feel like a prince.” You say teasingly to him. Konig is eyeing the tools you have set out in front of you. He’s more scared of the cuticle pusher and cutter than anything else. 

“You promise this isn’t going to hurt Meine Liebe?” He asks. He always slips back into German whenever he gets nervous. One night you had to try and scrape together your basic German vocabulary to calm him down from a nightmare he had. Safe to say you started practicing more after that. 

“I promise it isn’t going to hurt. Don’t be so scared darling,” You pump some lotion on your hands and start to rub it into his hand and arm. His hands are rough and calloused from the work he’s been doing for years now. You make sure to massage him a little longer to help ease his nerves, “I’m using the cinnamon scented one that you steal from me all of the time.” His face heats as he keeps his focus on your hands. 

“I just like the smell of it.” 

“Well that's why I’m using it,” You grab the cuticle pusher and start at his pinky nail, “Now this is just pushing the dead skin off of your nail to the edge so I can clip it off ok?” He nods and you start to push his cuticle back. 

“Scheiße, das fühlt sich komisch an.” He says. (Fuck that feels weird) 

“Aber es tut nicht weh,” You reply. (But it doesn’t hurt) You think that now is a good time to practice your German skills, hopefully as a way to sooth Konig’s nerves, “Du wirst danach so… so uh.. so hübsch aussehen.” You say hoping you got the phrasing right. (You’re going to look so pretty after this) You move onto his next finger. 

“Warum hast du es nicht abgeschnitten?” He asks. 

“Why didn’t I cut it off?” You repeat. He nods, “Well I didn’t cut it off because I’m saving that for the end. I want to do all of these before I cut them off, ok?”

“Ok. Just hurry up, it feels really weird.” 

“Jawohl,” You joked. (Yes sir)  Konig let out a small laugh. You continue to push up his cuticles and set down the pusher picking up the cuticle cutter, “This isn’t going to hurt ok? After this I’m putting oil on your cuticles and we’ll be done with this hand,” You start to cut his cuticles and he pulls his hand away, “Du bist ein Soilder, verdammt! Benimm dich wie einer!” You tease taking his hand back. (You’re a soldier damn it! Act like one!) 

“Verzeihung.” He mumbled as you went back to cutting his cuticles. (Sorry) Soon enough you’re done and grabbing your little bottle of oil.  

“See, that wasn’t so bad. The ‘scary’ part is over honey.” You drop some oil on his nails and start to rub it in. 

“Ich liebe dich.” He says. (I love you) You look up at him with a smile.

“Ich liebe dich.” You reply.
