25. Sooo my first impression of Styles was not a positive one which he forever finds amusing😆

I was tipsy the first time I watched the first episode for some context. and tipsy me was more upset about Styles killing poor rats with his teeth than anything else.🤣🤣🤣 it's so dumb but also SO funny to me now.🤣🤣🤣 I adore that scene now! And I do remember thinking Styles was cute because of his grin at Horatio right before the rat scene. But then I was all "Nooooo that's so meaaannn poor rats." 😭😭😭

And then I remember by the time episode 4 Mutiny came about I was crushing on him or at least decided he was my favorite. I was SO scared that Randall was going to beat Styles to death because obviously Styles didn't have plot armor 👀 and when he told Matthews he was winning I was near tears thinking "Ohmygod I love you PLEASE don't do that again weeehhh"😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣

I joke with @professorlehnsherr-almashy that when Styles first saw me and I freaked out about the rats, Styles was like "no worries I'll wait."😉

Me: wha?...*watches Mutiny* oh my god I love you um.... *Episode 7 rolls around* Hu-husband?...

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Oh my god I didn't think this question would be difficult to answer but it kind of is?! I think it's because my heart just yells "HE'S MY HUSBAND I DONT HAVE REASONS ASGHJKL"🤣🤣🤣

I like his sass, his willingness to cheer up a friend and be a friend, even if he isn't always great at it. His courage, his loyalty, his adorable stupidity (speaking loud when he shouldn't, saying he can be a steward🤭)

I like how he's willing to die for his friends and doesn't give it a thought. His willingness to learn things he doesn't know for example: he taught himself how to cook!

His laughter, his smile, his irritated expressions.🤭

What I would list as a dislike of the character is that Styles in episode 8 wasn't the one I knew for the rest of the series😅 I don't consider episode 8 cannon besides the marriage of Horatio because of the way Styles acts the whole episode. It heavily grates against how he's been acting in the entire series. Yeah he can be a dick sometimes, but not to the levels of slut shaming/ disrespecting women and pettiness. Maybe I'm crazy, that whole final episode felt 'off' for a lot of characters, not just Styles.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Hmm I've already put him in Sci fi media with Doctor Who, does that count?🤔 Doctor Who fanfiction is that a media? I wrote him as Eight's companion and he would be like Jamie since he doesn't understand technology and would say "Eh?!?" A lot like Jamie did.🤭

21. If you're a fanfic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's some you don't like?

So I've written a few things for Styles, my best work with him I think was angst where he got shot a lot and almost died.😅 🤣

But my favorite thing to do for Styles in writing is giving him love of any kind. Platonic or romantic, I love writing for Styles receiving acceptance and encouragement that he is important and wanted by those he loves.💜

I wonder how Horatio, Archie, Matthews and Styles feel about getting operated on by a young Henry who net yet a proper doctor?

Horatio: Stressed out of his mind, but that's just his regular baseline.

Archie: Too excited by this doctor that looks exactly like Horatio to worry about the fact he's not actually a doctor yet.

Matthews: Would rationalize that a not-yet-doctor is better than no doctor. And certainly better a chance of survival than if he let Styles lay a hand on him.

Styles: Is pretty sure he could do it himself, if only he wasn't on the verge of passing out...
