December 2023: Christmas

We started the day with mimosas garnished with pomegranate seeds:

A storm overnight dropped temps and the garden is loving it! A Pipsqueak, a Renegade (on that vine that snapped) and a Honeynut Squash all opened this morning. Even saw my first (male) cucumber bloom.

Tonight I made dinner out of roasted honeynut squash, Brussel sprouts, and mushrooms. Tomorrow, I'm going to work myself to death in the kitchen making traditional Thanksgiving dishes, and I'll be lucky if it's 1/3rd as delicious.
