Although this dagger may seem silly at first, I'm sure you won't be laughing so much when you get struck by a longsword with a simple switch… This weapon, with a jet black steel blade and a blue and pink guard resembling a jester’s hat—its four pointy ends adorned with tinkling bells and a smiling face at the hilt’s center—was designed by a master blacksmith. The blade’s ability to transform from a dagger to a longsword, as well as the disorienting and confusing enchantments imbued into it, was specially designed to complement Arleth’s dynamic performances and fluid combat style.

Our party lineup is finally complete thanks to the amazing work of @olibheare and the generosity of @eatingrich (Ragnyr and Adelle's player) !!! These commissions came out SO good and capture each of our characters beyond well, I cannot recommend Oli's commissions enough.

I've been playing Sorbet with this party for almost three years now, and I couldn't ask for a better D&D gang to roll with :) Here's to more intense sessions and shenanigans as we finally wrap up this behemoth of a campaign, and smash every face along the way!!!

Subclasseptember Day 12: Order Subclasseptember Day 13: Chaos

Ever notice how bard have no exclusive 9th-level spells? Even Power Word Heal got shared with Cleric as of Tasha's.

I mean, I guess it fits considering they can steal everyone else's, but it's a shame that none of them really embody the ideals of being a bard.

Actually, most spells don't really make sense for your traditional music-playing bard. Even Bardic Inspiration. Like, when you're playing a song, you're not playing it directly at one person, everyone around you hears it. And sure, you can make the argument that you're tailoring it for their experience specifically, but... we're getting off topic.

Perfect Harmony and Total Pandemonium. You can either force the stars to align, or embrace the chaos.

As per usual, both the M components are references.

Dancing Trees

1st-level Enchantment (ritual) Casting Time: 1 bonus action Range: 30 feet Components: S Duration: 30 minutes

      You dance a playful dance that makes the trees within range sway in a playful way for the duration. The swaying causes no damage to the trees or anything nearby. The trees are courteous to those near it because trees just like vibing. During the duration all plants that dance, magical or nonmagical are charmed by you.

Instrument of the Caged Bird

Instrument (any), rare (requires attunement by a Bard)

“This magic instrument is made of high quality materials, has been crafted by the finest artisans, and enchanted by the wisest enchanters. It features a delicately painted motif of a songbird escaping from a gilded cage.”

When a creature fails a saving throw against one of your spells, you can use your Reaction to cast the Misty Step spell without expending a spell slot. Once you use this property, you can’t use it again until the next dawn, unless you expend a level 2+ spell slot.

Spellforged Enhancement. This magic instrument enhances your innate spellcasting capabilities. You gain a bonus to your spell save DC equal to half your Proficiency Bonus (rounded down) while holding this magic instrument.
