By Train:

The nearest railhead is Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Railway Station, which is directly connected to Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. B] BY TRAIN: If you arrive at Jammu Tawi Railway Station you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Katra.

By Road:

Katra, which is the base town for the pilgrimage, is connected by road. Jammu, Delhi and nearby cities have regular buses and taxis.

It isn’t just the journey from Katra to the Vaishno Mata mandirapura.

The main pilgrimage starts at Katra and every pilgrim must take a Yatra Parchi (pilgrim pass) from the Yatra Registration Counter. This is a compulsory pass required for security of devotees.

The distance to Vaishno Mata Mandir is approximately 12 kilometers which can take you 4 to 8 hours to reach depending on how fit you are and the way of travel. Some ways to access the temple are:

By foot – Trekking on foot is the preferred way by most of the devotees where they sing religious hymns en-route.

Ponies and Palanquins — Offered to those who have trouble walking.

Battery Operated Vehicles – Up to Ardhkuwari; Gives you lesser travel time.

Helicopter Service – Operates from Katra to Sanjichhat, a brief distance from the temple.

It is said that a visit to Vaishno Mata Mandir is incomplete without a visit to Bhairon Baba Temple, which is situated 2.5 kilometers uphill from the main shrine. Legend has it that Goddess Vaishno Devi bestowed moksha (liberation) on Bhairon Nath at this exact location.

They can go to Bhairon Baba Temple on foot or ponies, or by recently introduced * ropeway service *, which has made it easier and faster.

You can find various types of accommodation in Katra starting from budget hotels to luxury resorts. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) also provides Dharamshalas (Pilgrim Lodges) at nominal rates.

Stop fucking spreading this blatant lie around.

This lie was started by The Satanic Temple, an organization linked with Grey Faction, who routinely denies the existence of DID and inserts themselves into the 80s SRA allegations despite them not even existing at the time (not yet as a recognized institution). Alison Miller had already retired prior to this despite their claims (2). There was no license to be revoked because it no longer existed.
