Who do you think Donald Trump will pick as his running mate in 2024? This does not mean who you would prefer--just who you think is most likely.

for romance/fiction books:

my favorite romance author is Emily Henry and I detest C*lleen Hoov*r. my favorite fiction author is Fredrik Backman .

I've recently loved You Deserve Each Other, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and The House in the Cerulean Sea. I'm mainly looking for light-hearted and happy vibes for now but the journey to a Happy Ending can be sad. I don't want many dark themes for now.

As you can see, there is a lot of variety which means I'll watch anything that's not a procedural drama and with minimal violence 😌.

The Calypso was a Caribbean establishment run by Williams, a Trinidadian restaurateur, where musical performances, soul food, and intellectual banter mixed with a steady flow of liquor. It was a spiritual home of sorts for James Baldwin in his first years in the Village. He got a job there as a waiter, and when he wasn't working he'd be drinking with the artist Beauford Delaney or Marlon Brando, a lifelong friend and supporter. It was a space where races mixed freely, which was still unusual at the time, and on a given night you might have seen Paul Robeson or Henry Miller eating side by side with Burt Lancaster or, later, Malcolm X.
