but of course!! sorry for the delay i’ve been so ill about twin peaks that i had to like sort through the doomed yaoi in my brain to find rhps stuff <3

- they all wake up at completely different times. it’s rare that they’re all up at the same time…. unless it’s 3 am. everyone’s up then. for one reason or another

- frank passenger princess confirmed 🫶 riff is always the one driving and frank’s like doing his eyeliner in the front seat and then gets so pissed when they hit a bump in the road and he messes up

- board game nights that result in a loss of friendship (temporarily). i’m thinking of some dialogue i heard from my friends while playing uno as columbia and magenta: “wow your eyes are so pretty!” “i thought we weren’t on speaking terms.” “oh right sorry”

- the stage they had the floorshow at is literally just used for the most dramatic karaoke performances in the history of creation. like they get allll the lights and sounds just so columbia can sing total eclipse of the heart

- riff and magenta act like normal siblings. i don’t care what the movie said that wasn’t canon. they fight like children and use blackmail from when they were younger on each other <3 ESPECIALLY bc riff does not approve of magenta and columbia and it’s like

-“she’s not good for you” “i’ll tell her you bit people” “..have a nice date”

- they have fully accepted being strange and offputting <3 they always have sm fun going out in public and just being Odd. to quote hair (sorry i’m ill about that too), “hey man let’s go to the park and scare some tourists!”

- columbia and magenta have an agenda of trying to get a pet for everyone. riff and frank do not approve at all but they always find ways to sneak in stray cats :3 they prob have rabies by now but it’s fine

- frank turns into the biggest homophobe around magenta and columbia. he was happy for them for like 2 seconds and now if they even hold hands in the same room as him he gags

- movie nights but with the worst, most obscure movies they can get their hands on. think velocipastor.

The BWCat and the Cocker Spaniel are /the/ faces of Webkinz!#They're on the tags! On the site! Show up in a lot of promotional material/in-game items/advertisements/etc! They had to be the first two!#And also it's just good practice for implementing a multi-pet system generally #It's all well and good if Diamond works Perfectly but if as soon as you add in a second element everything goes wrong what's the point #So he's here early in development ♪ Very important that they grow together! And also they're best friends you wouldn't separate them right #It's actually pretty fun to start to think about what I'd name the other OG8! Since I've only ever had Diamond she's so solidified to me #I'm biased towards the BWCat but the Cocker Spaniel is quite cute too! When I can actually draw him correctly lol #I haven't talked much about the pet adoption aspect yet - Diamond and Rocky are just the names I use but! The point is to pick your own!#I mean I still don't have names decided for the rest of them - Rocky just Happened and I've settled happily into it haha #I'd love to have a custom pronouns system too - I've seen it! I think it's really cool!!#One step at a time...#Still using the GShop label lol it's the WShop I promise the concept art went through a phase it's back to normal now lol #Another aspect of pet raising that I think is underutilized in Webkinz Classic is pet interaction!#You can Imagine whatever you want and pose them and stuff but pet conversation?? Come on!!#You can have your pets in the same room but they can't talk to each other?? No! Ghostkinz can talk to each other They Have To #Surprisingly the second pet wouldn't be on the Kero/secondary character ''layer'' hehe #And then a few other little interaction/flags for if multiple pets have been adopted :3c #What do your 'Kinz get up to when you're not around? They keep themselves and each other entertained haha #Having them ''running loose'' in your computer vs. their own rooms does make for a different environment haha #Send 'em home and to bed when you're done playing so they can't get up to so much trouble! No they still will lol

Thinking about Darryl and Casey. again

#specifically in their teenage years #going on long drives through the mountains in Casey’s truck #listening to their dad’s favorite classic rock with some Indigo Girls and Tracy Chapman snuck in there #Darryl covering for Casey when she snuck out to drink with her guy friends #and Casey covering for Darryl when he snuck Carol in through his window to hang out #constant bickering about who was Frank’s favorite #Darryl arguing with Casey when she’d ditch daily Mass back in school #but always letting her go and sort of relishing in her freedom. wondering what fun—I mean SINFUL stuff she was getting up to #Casey picking on Darryl for being such a goody two-shoes when it came to church and their dad #but also always being overly defensive of her kid brother when she brought him around to little house parties or parking lot hangouts #them both jumping to do chores/favors for their parents and fighting over the opportunity to be the one to do it #especially when it was a ‘man’s job’ or something physical Frank wanted help with #Casey finally getting her hands on a tape of Rocky Horror and forcing Darryl to secretly watch it with her in the living room at night #(<- based on a story from my mom and her queer older sister hehe)#(Darryl proceeded to suppress that for the rest of his life. but he does know the Time Warp)#csotd
