Practising my archery grouping with a paper cup. The goal is to shoot three arrows into or as close to a paper cup as possible. Usually starting with the feet lined up from a distance of one metre then moving back about a metre at a time and so on. * This video is a quick demonstration of me shooting at 1.5 metres because I didn't really want to shoot any closer to the target. I started doing this type of training around two weeks ago and been logging my progress, I'll be doing another longer video soon. * I've made it a little more difficult for myself by not moving back a distance until I have three arrows in the cup or have emptied my quiver. Not the prettiest but I'm clapping for myself with this strength hold progress. Getting my leg rested over my shoulder has been a challenge while keeping my other foot from touching the floor. This is a huge victory for me. My continued goal is to maintain a straight leg rested on the shoulder, pointed toe and more space off the floor under my other foot. If you've never tried strength holds they are quite the challenge. Respect to all those highly flexible athletes using body weight training in their sport.
