hi, could you pray for me/offer advice? I'm in senior year, doing calculus, and I don't think i should keep at calculus but everyone (and by everyone lets just say. my parents) wants me to. I just feel that this is getting in the way of my other schoolwork and I'm not really good at it anyway so. I don't want to constantly be a failure but I don't know that i can succeed at anything else with this in the way.

I probably won't be allowed to quit but idk.... i got like 50% or something on the last exam i did for it (which was earlier today so maybe I'm just gloomy)

I'm not in the position to give much advice, but what I will say is that as a minor, you are still under the authority of your parents, who were placed over you by God. So at the end of the day, you are called to submit to them and carry out whatever they say is best, to the best of your ability. So whatever they say goes.

But this doesn't stop you from having an open and honest converstation with them! Ask to sit down with them and show them your courseload, and how you've been faring in each area, even if its embarassing. Discuss with them the pros and cons of quitting, and if they firmly say no, then (I know this sounds annoying and harsh, but it's true) figure out more and better ways to study and work harder at it. And if you really are at your max, and their is physically nothing you can do at all to improve, then still just keep at it and glorify both God and your parents through your work. Even if you do horribly at the class despite all your best efforts, you've still blessed them, and your work counts for a lot spiritually, if it does not academically.

Pray like you didn't study and study like you didn't pray!
