Hi Morgan! I see on Carnyx Interactive's website that forest keeper says end of 2024, but isn't yet out on itch.io - just wondering if you have any status update to share, no worries if not. :)

another entry in my fantasy sketchbook. pen and watercolor.

Powdered clothing dye (not rit, i used procion mx) and mica (jacquard pearl ex) mixed with a base made from alum, soda ash, triton-x, and distilled water (must be distilled). It will not smell good so you can add a drop of clove and citrus essential oils. Shake the base to combine. Add the dye to the base and gently stir to combine, you dont have the shake it. You dont need a lot of dye. (Or if youre in the Seattle area you can learn how to make it this method at Push/Pull!)

So, it will clog your pen if its a super fine pen. I have a medium-fine pen (ferris wheel press) and here is what Blush looks like

These are also dip pen friendly.

They will clog if you use pure pigment (so, pure mica or other powder pigment instead of dye) in which case you can only apply with brush.

got to make some fountain pen inks today c: turns out its super easy and you can get most ingredients from the grocery store lol hard to see in the photo, all but "black forest" has mica in it, so they have some shimmer!
