We have three brains: The head brain, the gut and the heart.
🧠 Head (Brain): This is where our logic, intellect, and conscious thought processes are centered. Despite its importance, 90% of our behavior is influenced by our unconscious mind.
How to take care:
🧠 Do activities that stimulate your brain, such as puzzles, reading, learning new skills, or practicing mindfulness meditation. These activities can help improve cognitive function and maintain brain health.
🧠 Healthy nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, and managing stress are crucial for brain health. Physical health directly impacts your cognitive abilities and mental clarity.
🧠 Keep your brain active by learning new things regularly. This could involve hobbies, courses, or activities that challenge and stimulate your intellect.
🍽️  Gut: Often referred to as our "second brain," the gut produces a significant amount of serotonin, which plays a crucial role in mood regulation and overall emotional management.
How to take care:
🍽️  Eat a diet rich in fiber, fruits, vegetables, and probiotics (like yogurt or kefir) to promote a healthy gut microbiome. Avoid excessive sugar and processed foods.
🍽️  Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support digestion and overall gut function.
🍽️  Stress can negatively impact your gut health. Practice stress reduction techniques like deep breathing, yoga, or meditation to maintain a healthy gut-brain axis.
❤️ Heart: The heart has neural pathways that communicate with the brain, suggesting a bidirectional flow of information. This connection emphasizes the role of emotions, intuition, and feelings in our decision making and overall cognitive processes.
How to take care:
❤️ Maintain positive relationships, express your emotions constructively, and engage in activities that bring you happiness and fulfillment.
❤️ Regular exercise not only benefits the heart but also helps manage your emotions by releasing endorphins and reducing stress.
❤️ Take time for your self care activities that nurture your emotional and psychological health.

❤︎ ྀི˖𓍢 my personal pinkprint to aligning with my princess agenda—style, mindset, and routines to embody my future self. as I pivot in life, this will be one of my final blog posts like this. i’m transitioning it off blogging and will now document everything in my video diary… 𐙚
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎀 self prioritization, boundaries, and independence - i come before anyone else. i have no children and my only commitment is to make myself happy.
🍨 shadow work - to reveal what has made me how i am (strengths, traumas, interests, fears), i’ve done so much reflecting on my triggers and responses to specific stimuli. it feels good to know that i’m getting to know myself. that says growth to me.
🎀 studying my birth chart - finding out hope my placements, and which houses they’re in has really made my day to day interactions and experiences very insightful and fun to dissect.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎀 so fab so glam lately - my vibe lately has been just g-l-a-m, glamorous. just oozing sex appeal and hyper femininity with a sophisticated twist. i can’t wait to document this on youtube.
🍨 bougie and sexy - black and satin have been a common theme for me. my aesthetic is naturally going in a very sultry direction along with animal prints, lace and diamanté detailing.
🎀 body mods - back dermal piercings, more ear piercings and super pretty tattoos, nothing too much just small and pretty embellishmentz!
🍨 fab color palette - brown, cream, soft pink, metallic accents (champagne gold, white gold), and leopard print. my everything.
🎀 gold n pink jewelry - this combo is so pretty on everything else so why wouldn’t be just as pretty on my personal adornments? ordered three gold and pink belly rings and i can’t want to mix the metals once my piercings heal.
🍨keeping a physical lookbook in my fashion diary - this year i’m not holding back. the looks are coming. the photos are coming. i want to document my fav looks, accessories, and details in real time. almost like personal portfolio.
🎀 sexy and grownifying my closet - investing in a luxurious, cohesive closet that says grown. gonna be using high heels and casual glamour to achieve this. the fabrics and cuts are extremely crucial too.
🍨 staple designer bags - if you know me you know i love designer purses. especially if they’re neutral colored and essential. i definitely plan on expanding my repertoire of bags.
🎀 customizing my wardrobe - i’m getting a sewing machine and i’m learning how to hotfix rhinestones to personalize and bedazzle anything i want to. i’m so so excited!
🍨 making my own jewelry - i’m so excited to talk about this! i’m making a kit of chains and threads along with beads and charms all in my color palette and i’m going to start popping out with so much custom made shit! body chains, waist beads, charm bracelets, just so exclusive + #prissy.
🎀 new makeup styles - been loving smoky eyes and black waterlines, overlining with a muted brown, lash clusters, rhinestones, and more sultry details.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎀 currently healing my gut - psyllium husk supplements, fiber, kombucha/prebiotic soda, chia seeds and an adequate amount of water have all become a part of my routine over the last month or so and i definitely feel different.
🍨 #prettiedup - bleach my hair, signature makeup routines, regular nail appointments (found a tech that i can rely on 🎀), korean skincare + african black soap, and anything else to boost my beauty.
🎀 got a personal trainer to maintain my “skinny bbl” look - i’m a tall girl with long legs and that with a tiny waist and round butt is so my look. currently training for it and i’m pretty happy so far. at this rate, by the end of march i’ll be at my goals.
🍨 building my vitamin and supplement routine - collagen, probiotics + prebiotics, maca, berberine, + some hum essentials.
🎀 my love of teas - cannot live without tea. it’s my favorite form of caffeine. and herbal teas always help me feel as if i’ve boosted my health. my favorite teas right now are green tea, matcha, and double spice chai. also love black, spearmint, and raspberry teas.
🍨 weekly digital detox - one day a week i go out of my way to avoid my phone. i simply rely on other things for entertainment, radio for music and try to interact with those around me.
🎀 hair extension wardrobe - tape ins in natural black and honey blonde, vixen sew ins with 30” bundles (i’m a tall girl so long hair to me is at least 26”)
🍨 cycle syncing - i’ve changed the way i eat depending on where i am in my menstrual cycle. i find my gut responds to the things i eat better. even with the time of day, being intentional with the way i live my life is so important to me now.
🎀 new personalized diet - high protein and low artificial sugar is pretty much what i’ve been following. what i typically eat in a day is berries, rice, oranges, lots of water, almond and peanut butter, etc. my fav sources of protein are grilled chicken, sushi, steak, salmon and eggs. of course i still like sweets they’re for sure few and far between.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎀 trust in my intuition - it’s taken a while but i’m finally learning to trust myself. if my body is telling me to do something i do it, i don’t try to force what isn’t there, and i respect my mind by honoring the discerning abilities i was blessed with.
🍨 gratitude and thought reframing - so many things in my life changed for the better when i learned to flip my thoughts. in a glass half full fashion. it’s literally the law of assumption. i’m forever grateful for everyone and everything i have. and miss universe has only blessed me with more because i’m now so much more receptive.
🎀 no bull shit + not easily impressed - i literally have the shortest tolerance. i expect a certain standard of behavior from those that wish to be in my presence and this is because i give a certain level of care, consideration, authenticity and respect.
🍨 manifestation journal - my literal best friend. everything i write in my LOA journal comes true. i’m not exaggerating. i read it in the morning and tend to write in it before bed. i keep it right next to my bed along with some stickers and gel pens.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎀 semipermanent beauty treatments - making appointments for lash lifts and brow microblading as we speak. also super interested in finding a great medspa in my area.
🍨 youtube #vloggingbabe🎀 - i finally made my long awaited comeback and i’ll actually be recording some of the things in this post on video. i love recording and editing. it feels like the best form of self expression to me right now! subscribe!
🎀 glam squad (esthetics, hair, nails) - i’m so anal about things being seamless and easy to remember. i like to go the same place for particular services and i’m determined to find a reliable hairstylist and esthetician that i can stay loyal to (i already have a bomb ass nail tech)

Personal rant incoming
I have a 16 year old chihuahua, shes the light of the whole family, everyone adores her. She has issues with HGE (aka explosive diarrhea) but this is an issue we have dealt with in the past and we were always able to get a handle on it.
Our vet is wonderful, always gives us very clear directions, but also doesn't bullshit us. We've always told him, with all our pets, if in his professional opinion they have no quality of life and are suffering more by being treated, to tell us so we can let them go.
Friday my old girl had another flare up, but we were fully iced in. There was no way to get out and into town without putting ourselves in very serious danger. We live super rural, no snow trucks or anti ice shit on the roads of us. When it shows it ices until it melts.
So we gave her leftover medicine from her last flare up 6 weeks ago, and waited. Finally Sunday it melted just enough we could get to the emergency vet. It took 3 hours to make a 1 hour drive, but she needed medicine and fluids and I couldn't wait any more.
The vet there was super fucking dismissive. He said she's 16, she's old, it's probably not HGE and most likely is cancer, and in his opinion we should have her put down.
Please keep in mind, I have always upheld my personal belief that if my babies are suffering and I can't treat them, I will let them go.
But I just didn't feel like he was right.
I told him I was going to see her usual vet Tuesday, and I would discuss the topic of euthanasia then, but I didn't feel right making a snap decision at that very moment when she was still active, eating and being herself.
He told me it was responsibility to consider her wellbeing over my personal emotions and I, admittedly, snapped a bit.
I told him I understood he was giving me his professional opinion, but I also know my dog, and I know she's stable, she just needs some fluids and a refill on her medicine.
He reluctantly took her back and give her some fluids, but told me he didn't feel comfortable giving me more medicine. Luckily it's non prescription, so I ordered more from fucking Amazon while I was waiting for them to bring her back to me.
He brought her back, asked me if I was certain I wouldn't consider putting her down and I said yes, that was something I only felt comfortable letting her usual vey do, and I also wasn't going to euthanasia her when she was still acting perfectly fine.
Yes, she's sick, she's shitting everywhere, it's a mess, but she's not in pain, she's eating drinking and running around.
So I took her to her usual vet this afternoon, explained the situation. He was horrified.
He said she's extremely healthy considering her age, (btw by this time the HGE flare up has ended, she's pooping nice and solid now) and all he would advise is we swap to a gut healthy food and a stronger prescription probiotic.
He said he was going to give that emergency vet a call and speak to him about all this. Apparently, this vet has a history of being rude (the hospitals are connected through the same network)
I asked him point blank if I was being unreasonable. If I was putting her through too much, if letting her go was the right thing to do.
He assured me it wasn't.
She's healthy, happy and has a few more years in her as long as we keep her flare ups controlled, and putting her down right now would only be the answer if I was tired of cleaning up poop.
I honestly thought it was a joke till he told me, no, a lot of people euthanasia their dogs because they don't want to deal with cleaning the floors and giving them baths constantly.
I mop the floors every hour on the hour and wash her butt and feet everytime she poops. I can't imagine putting her down over something she can't control.
Sorry for the long winded story, I'm just so angry and shaken up that he wanted to euthanasia my baby just because she's old and has a leaky butt sometimes.
I can clean my floor, I can give her baths, I can't replace the love she gives us in return. I know she's old, I know her time is coming, but goddamn I will not give up just because things are a little difficult Jesus christ.

Gather The Most Helpful Knowledge About Pet Diet And Nutrition
While supplements are beneficial, they should be introduced into your pet’s diet gradually and under the guidance of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet receives the right amounts and avoids any potential interactions with their current medications or conditions.
Nutritional Completeness: Many dog and cat diets can lack specific nutrients. Supplements ensure that your pets receive a balanced intake of essential vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids, tailored to their unique health needs.
Joint Health: With age or injury, dogs and cats can suffer from joint issues. Supplements containing glucosamine and chondroitin support joint health, reducing pain and improving mobility, which is particularly beneficial for older pets or breeds prone to joint disorders.
Digestive Health: A healthy gut is vital for overall wellness. Probiotics and digestive enzymes promote a balanced digestive system, helping to resolve and prevent issues like diarrhea, constipation, and bloating. Products such as Total Digest from Lots of Love Pet Products are specifically formulated to support the digestive health of dogs and cats.
Immune Support: A robust immune system is critical in helping your pet fend off illnesses. Supplements that include antioxidants and vitamins like C and E can strengthen the immune response, offering an additional layer of protection against various diseases.
Choosing Quality Supplements
It’s vital to choose supplements from reputable sources to ensure they are safe and effective. Companies like Lots of Love Pet Products offer a range of supplements designed specifically for the health needs of dogs and cats, such as felo taurine and felo lysine ensuring that your pets receive high-quality products that are both safe and beneficial.
Supplements for Specific Conditions
Certain conditions require specific supplements:
Joint Supplements for Aging Pets: As pets age, their joints become less flexible and more prone to inflammation. Supplements with glucosamine and chondroitin can alleviate these symptoms, improving their quality of life.
Digestive Enzymes for Pets with Gastrointestinal Issues: For pets with sensitive stomachs, digestive enzymes can make a significant difference. They help break down food more efficiently, reducing gastrointestinal discomfort and improving nutrient absorption.
Omega Fatty Acids for Allergy-Prone Pets: For pets with skin allergies, supplements rich in Omega fatty acids can be transformative. They help soothe irritated skin and improve coat health, reducing the symptoms of allergies.
Conclusion
Pet supplements play a crucial role in the holistic health care of dogs and cats. They provide targeted nutritional support, enhance the immune system, and improve the overall quality of life for your pets. By choosing the right supplements from reputable brands like Lots of Love Pet Products, you ensure that your pets receive the best possible care, tailored to their specific health needs. Health update
My eczema has recently cleared up when I quit fasting. Some cuts and dead skin on my hands, but my fingers and the backs of my hands are no longer dry! I can bend my fingers and my palms feel so smooth. All it did was to quit fasting.
Now I do get allergic reactions, especially to dogs and pollen. My younger dog likes to sleep on my bed and licks her paws. I know my room is covered in dander at this point. I do get itchy on my face, neck, and hands. But it's not horrible. This is a separate issue from my hormone imbalances due to stress and prolonged fasting.
I'll eventually go back to fasting during week 1 and 3 of my cycle, and reducing the fasting on week 2 and 4. I'm not necessarily going to eat lower carb on week 1 and 3, as long as I'm eating mostly anti-inflammatory it honestly shouldn't matter. In general eating gut and hormone friendly foods and cycling my fasts in a way that will promote weight loss and autophagy, but no hormonal imbalances. I love carbs so I wouldn't go low carb all the way. My body doesn't have a problem with complex carbs. It does with excess sugar and junk carbs, but not things like fruit, whole grains, dark chocolate, or starchy veggies. Going too strict with my diet will definitely backfire.
So I've been balancing my hormones, and I've been eating anti-inflammatory. Of course we want a balance in life, so I'm going to fast cycle, not go low carb, and treat myself here and there so I don't feel deprived. I shared a pizza slice with my mom today. I got some aged cheddar popcorn so I have something to eat before my therapy session. Some "inflammatory" foods here and there won't do any damage. As long as most of my diet is low in refined sugars, white breads, fats, oils and processed meats. I know eating anti-inflammatory helps my skin. Combined with gut and hormone support.
I've been eating more pumpkin seeds which are great for hormones.
I've been looking into ways to support gut health. I've been chewing slowly, drinking aloe juice, eating anti-inflammatory (the best thing you can do for your gut), and eating Greek yogurt for probiotics.
I wanted to support anti-microbial effects so I don't experience any recurring infections like h pylori and staph and strep. I also want to ensure I have enough stomach acid and digestive enzymes. I'm doing an h pylori breath test in a few days and I hope I get a negative result. H pylori is a problem because it reduces stomach acid levels, which prevents proper digestion and allows for more downstream infections to occur (in the small and large intestines) because stomach acid also acts as a sterilizer that kills foreign pathogens. Stomach acid is important and I want to ensure I killed off the h pylori and am producing enough acid and can prevent further infections from occurring in the future.
I also want to ensure I am producing enough digestive enzymes. I know I am tired of taking multiple supplements, but enzymes can be so helpful. I know I prefer food sources, but the foods that are most rich in enzymes are tropical fruit, which I don't like. I do have a digestive enzyme supplement. I've been taking it a month or so ago and took it again today with lunch. I'll ask my doctor about all this when I do my mineral scan later this month. I'll also ask about acid, h pylori, and aloe juice.
I'm so happy because I feel better. Just some minor gut support and fast cycling and I'll be in good hands. I'm also going t get the psychological and psychiatric support I need.

This pic makes me happy.
River gave us quite a scare Wednesday evening.  After a couple bad days of seizure activity where she couldn't/wouldn't eat much (and I can't safely force-feed much for fear of her aspirating it), her gut bacteria went out of whack causing GI distress and we thought we may lose her.  She earned her Lazarus Bun nickname by eating and drinking on her own around midnight.  After some probiotics, her bunny tummy is happy again and she has a good appetite. She's our little fighter! 🌿🐇

I like to think about gut bacteria. Like even though they're microscopic they're these little creatures living in my tummy. I think it's so cute. Sometimes I really like to play it up when I take probiotics. I'll talk in my head to my belly and say tings like " welcome to my tummy I hope you enjoy your stay". Lol it's kind of dumb but it makes me happy to rub my tummy and think of all the little guys living in there. I just like to talk to my belly in general. Like when it's rumbling while digesting I'll think something like " hey settle down in there. What are you guys doing?" Or when I eat a lot and my tummy is full and bloated I'll give it a pat and say " ok everyone you've got a lot of work to do so get started". I love my little belly buddies
Akdnkandkandkand this sounds so adorable omg. Your tummy’s lil helpers :D

Understanding the powerful connection between gut health and metabolism
Did you know that your gut health plays a crucial role in your metabolism and overall well-being? A healthy gut is home to trillions of bacteria, viruses and fungi that help digest food, regulate metabolism, and even support your immune system. They also play a role in regulating your nervous system, removing toxins and affecting how drugs work. Gut microbiome has been implicated in a number of conditions such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, metabolic liver disease, cardiometabolic disease and even dementia. When your gut is happy, your metabolism functions optimally, helping you maintain a healthy weight and feel energised throughout the day. To support your gut health and boost your metabolism and microbiome we recommend you maintain a diet that consists of a diverse range of whole foods rich in fibre such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. This should include limiting processed high-energy food. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day is also recommended. If you can, try incorporating probiotic-rich foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi into your diet. Finally adding regular exercise to your weekly regime will help to keep your metabolism optimised and your gut happy. Recent advancements in technology now allow for the testing of factors that influence the gut microbiome. Blood Genius may advise on the need for such tests.

Depressi-Spaghetti
I’ve had clinical depression for at least a decade now. While it still sucks (I’d much rather not suffer from clinical depression), I feel it’s fairly well managed most days.
Still, here's a list of things I wish I’d known 10 years ago:
You are not your depression (it’s a thing you have, not a thing you are)
Depression can often be just be your brain chemistry out-of-whack (it’s not your fault you feel crap)
Be kind and gentle to yourself (this one can be hard, but try to think how you’d treat a close personal friend 🤗)
It’s really hard to judge your own state because depression acts like a lens on how you perceive the world, yourself included (depressive episodes are far more obvious to friends/family around you)
Meditation/mindfulness can help both being able to perceive your internal state and being more at peace with it (I know things will pass)
Depression can have many triggers (lack of sleep, diet, stress, not enough sunlight exposure, being genuinely sad about something)
Light exercise (e.g. a brisk 15 min walk) can do wonders for your mood
Cold water (particularly on the face or shower) also works surprisingly well
Have you been drinking enough water today? 💧 Have you eaten? 🍎
If you think you might be depressed, talk to someone about it (a therapist, your doctor) who can help you work through it
Get your thyroid function tested (because depression is a common symptom of certain thyroid-related issues)
Medication is a tool to help correct those brain chemistry imbalances, they’re not “force you to be happy” pills ☺️
It can take a while to find the right medication for your brain (there’s many kinds of anti-depressants and no one is best for everyone)
Supplements like 15 mg L-Methylfolate (required for your brain to synthesize serotonin) and Vitamin B-6/B-12 (required for general brain health) can be surprisingly effective if you have deficiencies
Taking probiotics/fermented foods (miso, yogurt, kimchi, …) seems to be helpful for me (gut inflammation can have all sorts of wild effects on your brain)
Whilst these are things that have worked for me (and I’m just one person), I hope some might be of use to others. ❤️

This is really good intel
While I knew much of this it never crossed my mind that this BURNING MOUTH BULLSHIT symptoms I have are could be peri menopause related
I would also like to add symptoms
- your bowel habits can get fucked up (and please make sure there is no OTHER MEDICAL underlying reason ie: cancer)
But if there isn’t and it’s your lack of hormones making EVERYTHING dry -yeah everything- you need to find a probiotic that works for you
I’m deeply in love with Kefir for this (right now doing store bought Lifeway brand)
If you are having sex: SEX SHOULD NOT HURT and boy howdy it’s probably going to - (and there’s help for that!) because your vagina not only gets drier but the tissue thins and can get tiny (micro) tears.
Again- there’s lots of ways to address that
I found the gut happiness helped with the brain fog but I’ve only just begun the change so who knows
the weird weight distribution thing is also real
The most important addition I want to make is over the last 25 years at work I’ve watched many women go through menopause.
I was always afraid of “the change” because of the symptoms. But seeing them..working along side them… and they didn’t just go through it, they thrived and I think that’s because it also leaves you with a gift
Menopause gives you the the gift of not giving a single fuck about a lot of things
and that is wonderful
Gather around, my young friends and fellow dinosaurs, let me tell you about some BULLSHIT no one ever tells you about. I'm talking about menopause and perimenopause. Now, menopause has a very stringent medical definition. You have to not have had a period for exactly 12 months and a day to be considered in menopause. All the bullshit before that day once you start going through The Change is considered perimenopause. Here's some bullshit you might experience that people actually talk about when you're in perimenopause:
- shorter time between periods
- irregular periods
- hot flashes and/or cold flashes
- fucked up sleep
- OMG NIGHT SWEATS
- Vagina as dry as the Sahara desert
- lighter periods and/or endless bleeding like it's The Flood but it's in your pants
- lack of interest in Adult Fun Times
This time of joy can last anywhere from a couple of years to a god damn decade and there's no medical way right now to predict it.
Here's some of the REAL bullshit they don't tell you about but your dinosaur aunt is here to let you know:
- You can start perimenopause in your 30s, don't listen to idiot doctors who tell you you're "too young" because they don't know your body like you do.
- Perimenopause will make you HELLA DUMB. Seriously, I'm talking Bigly broken brain. Brain fog? Check. Short term memory? Wave goodbye to it. Ability to make words form out of thoughts? Yeah, good luck to you.
- Perimenopause can cause horrible fatigue because in addition to losing estrogen, you're also losing testosterone. Oh and that also leads to muscle wasting, cool cool.
- Things might suddenly hurt more because estrogen is known to be neuroprotective.
- If you're super lucky like I am, and like to collect rare illnesses, you might even get Burning Mouth Syndrome 💀
- And meanwhile, while you're going through this bullshit, you'll be getting gaslit by doctors who are operating based on 30 year old debunked data about how HRT causes breast cancer (not really) and that they shouldn't put you on it until you're in actual menopause. (Data shows starting HRT early can potentially prevent Alzheimer's in later years.)
- There are entire online clinics right now (I use Midi Health) focused on providing care for peri and menopausal patients and they will happily prescribe you HRT even if your regular PCP or OBGYN do not (if you meet the criteria). I've been pretty impressed with how holistically they view the patient. For full disclosure, I learned about them from my integrative health doctor and they do not accept Medicare (yet).
I'm 46 years old right now and I've been symptomatic for perimenopause for the last 8 years, although it's gotten the most dramatic in the past 2 years or so, which I hope means I'm almost done, holy hell. Yeah I was on the early side, but if it can happen to me, it can happen to you, so it's never too early to think about these things. And I hope to at least spare some of you the mind-fuckery I've been through because no one told me about most of this stuff, including my own mother who just DOESN'T REMEMBER what happened to her and now I completely understand why. And because I also have a connective tissue disease, I used to just dismiss my pain and fatigue as being caused by that illness rather than the loss of hormones.
Tumblr media
Anyways, this is why we need Elders in our lives, so they can do Grandma Story Hour like I just did and validate you when the entire medical field tries to gaslight you. I hope you've found some or all of this educational/useful. Please share with your friends because we really do NOT talk about this stuff enough. (Ewwww Moon Blood!)
Stay well, and don't let the bastards grind you down!

OUR MICROBIOME AND HOW TO KEEP IT HAPPY
I’ve just been reading an article in my newspaper about our microbiome and what are the main features that affect its efficiency.
The article goes on about our genetics, any drugs including antibiotics we may take, our personal hygiene, physical activity and diet.
It doesn’t mention the importance of oxygen in the process and although the article goes into some more detail about the above, it seems to put little emphasis on the type of food we eat.
Understanding the difference between probiotic and prebiotic food is important. Probiotics are foods that contain good live gut bacteria and prebiotic foods are things like fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and whole grains.
In other words, prebiotic food is designed to satisfy not just our hunger, but to keep our existing gut bacteria happy as well. There are certain types of bacteria that live in our intestines that look forward to a meal as much as we do.
In so doing, they are like any other form of bacteria that exist on rotting organic matter, and reduce the mass to worthless waste. In our gut this munching away by bacteria means we benefit with the nutrients it releases that our gut lining then absorbs.
The intestines is an aerobic atmosphere and so is the vast majority of our bacteria. Other microorganisms also live here. Fungi in the form of candida lives inside us. Usually it remains in a small enough number not to cause any problem.
But it can sometimes create a problem we call thrush and this can usually be eliminated with an oxygen agent such as Oxysan.
Candida doesn’t like oxygen and this makes it quite rare. When the world began, it is safe to speculate that the first living organisms on the planet, four and a half billion years ago, were creatures such as this. And when mankind blows himself to oblivion, they’ll be one of the few things left alive.
Since our gut bacteria has been on Earth longer than we humans have existed, it’s almost worth considering that as they were the first, we are the aliens.
Like all symbiotic relationships, we cannot exist without some bacteria, and our gut bacteria would struggle to thrive without us.
Any of the oxygen based supplements such as Oxysan may be considered as colon cleansers. The extra boost of oxygen agitates good gut bacteria helping to shift any sticky compacted waste.
Junk food that often contains strange additives, may stick on the gut lining and result in many minor problems such as constipation, bloating, and other discomforting conditions.
In Victorian times, colonic irrigation was all the rage. Spa towns like Harrogate did a roaring trade in this, and continues to a slightly lesser degree today.
Most people don’t have the time or the inclination for the Harrogate lavage. And Oxysan seems a much kinder and cheaper method of colon cleansing.
