Okay. Fellas. Real talk. I've seen some of you do it and I thank you profusely for doing so but can yall PLEASE credit the original artist of that piece yall kinda made into an a dtiys/art meme? That's not official art. I am point blank refusing to engage with any of these pieces that I see not doing such. (Even when it pains me to keep scrolling, because some of them are really good!! And I want them here!!! But I do have some rules for myself I try to stand firm by with this blog.)

Like you can literally see them say right there that it's fine IF YOU CREDIT. I'm fucking begging you.

I'm not mad at anyone who didn't know but I've seen SO MANY versions at this point, and I think I've seen maybe 3 or 4 of them RECENTLY include the credit. (And one with improper credit, I think?) Please. Please just. Tack it on.

my favourite part of season 5 is still the reveal that Gabriel and Tomoe thought Adrien and Kagami made the perfect pair and wanted them to be together because it completely flips their relationship

Kagami and Adrien sneaking around and finding the slightest gaps in their schedule and giving their bodyguards/parents the slip to spend time together and feeling so clever that they’ve gotten away with it their parents don’t suspect a thing

only to smashcut to Gabriel and Tomoe doing an evil pound it because their ship is canon

Final builds of demo are exported. I am so tired. Tomorrow I finish the trailer and Sunday I finish the final presentation of the steam page and press submit. Everything going well the demo releases in a week..............

#I have also fucked over my wrists again #going to take a while to recover from this just like when I had to take all those extensions for my finals in grad school #it was mostly a couple days ago I did a long tablet drawing session in really bad ergonomic posture #and after weeks and weeks of working on drying and also at the computer basically non-stop that was just the icing on the cake #I also haven't had the time to practice cello as much and since cello helps build my muscles and gives me some relief thats making it worse #anyway I have my wrist braces on tonight and I'm going to take a ton of breaks tomorrow including cello breaks #and then after it's all done on Sunday I am going to R E S T for A THOUSAND YEARS #like I'm actually using my tablet pen on my phone right now because my hands don't want to hold and type it #good thing I already have all the tools I need to handle my carpal tunnel when it's at its worst though #better to be prepared than not #anyway. regardless of my arms. I have made a thing and I am so excited to unleash it upon the world

Having lots of fun with it, so far i’ve played Stray, and Spider-man

#but you know what isn’t fun? the time it takes to update these games #spider-man was especially bad and i anticipate that god of war may also have a beefy wait time #but anyway- i know the ps4 isn’t exactly the latest console but 1) my family aren’t made of money so i’m not gonna ask them for a ps5 #and 2) older console means extensive catalogue of games AND a lot of games are reduced price especially second hand #also my bf has said i can borrow his games if i want to :)#zippy speaks

UH SURE YES ABSOLUTELY I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN- I guess I can start with the fic that Sky's art is based on bc that's the thing you probably know most about. Basically, the idea came about when we were discussing Hyrule being the primary healer of the group in most fanfics despite only really having magic to back it instead of actual field experience.

We then basically unanimously agreed that the main medics of the group would most likely be Sky and Wars since they seem like the ones that would have had the most 'proper training'. The main idea is that Sky and Wars address injuries and illnesses that don't need immediate attention or can't be fixed with magic alone. Like for example, if someone takes a hit in battle and is at immediate risk of bleeding out, let's say, and it's mainly just a flesh wound then Hyrule can fix it because it's simply Just Healing. Sky and Wars come into play when the injury is more complex, for example (and this is one I brought up to Sky when we spoke about it), if someone breaks a bone then one of them needs to set it before Hyrule can even approach healing it because it could risk healing in the wrong way and do more harm than good.

This all ties to the fic that I'm working on in that Warriors IS STUPID! and believes that, because he is one of the assigned medics of the group, he should be able to deal with his own wounds by himself (spoiler: he cannot this time).

Basically, in the art by Sky (so beloved), Warriors has fled from a battle with an injury that is bleeding pretty profusely. He knows that he can't continue to fight in his condition but both Hyrule and Sky are preoccupied with the fight and he doesn't want to put them at risk by attempting to get their attention. He slips away, leaving a blood trail behind as he does, and finds a safe place where he tries to stitch his wound shut by himself.

Through a combination of blood loss and (as of now implied - mainly because I haven't written this part in yet) memories from the war of a similar situation, he finds that his hands aren't steady enough to do the stitches because he's trembling violently. He starts to panic because he hasn't told anyone where he went and he can't stop the bleeding even when applying pressure. As he's having A Crisis, Sky and Time find him having followed the blood trail.

There is much more but I just realised there is A LOT in this post so like yeah! I am and will always be willing to ramble about Wars tho so please ask about him more!

YES hesitant alien is a beautiful musical landscape full of emotional depth depicting many different forms of storytelling with varied degrees of fictionalization. yada yada whatever disclaimer so u don't get hung on the cross of reductive rpf interpretation. this may be the truth as it is, but none of that changes the fact that occasionally sprinkled in are barbed high speed projectile weapons that really do seem to be aimed at. well who the fuck else. can we all be so real for a minute

no see you get it like this is exactly EXACTLY what i’m saying. i’m very much anti interpreting their solo work as entirely about the band/each other and sometimes people are really reaching and it prevents them from seeing the value of the art beyond an rpf/shipping lense which is genuinely sad to me because like you said it’s an incredible and deeply personal work of art that discusses an impressive breadth of subjects many of which have little or nothing to do with the band and are not less valuable for that. HOWWW FUCKING EVER. you believe in love i believe in fate. a million reasons can i be your number one

Started rereading Bands of Mourning, I'm only a few chapters in and I'd forgotten most of this
