There was never a time where you ever thought you’d be losing your sanity. Months ago, you only ever known the beauty of peace, having full control over your thoughts and emotions with no consequences. Where does the chaos abruptly begin, how does it begin, and why does it begin?
Because fuck all that, why do you have to be involved in a mess that you didn’t ask for?
You stared out of your dorm window, tracing the movement of students below as they hurried between classes. The campus was alive with energy—laughter, chatter, and the constant shuffle of feet on the worn pathways—but it all felt distant to you, like watching life happen through a glass pane. From the outside, you seemed well-adjusted. A few close friends, decent grades, a knack for blending in at social events. But lately, you had begun to feel a quiet, persistent void growing inside, one that friendship, academic success, and even casual flings couldn’t quite fill.
It wasn't that you were lonely in the traditional sense. In fact, you had friends—great friends who provided the utmost support in all that you do. Natasha Romanoff from work, Kate Bishop from short-film club, Steve Rogers from gym (he was also Natasha’s boyfriend), Tony Stark who crashed into your car the first day of move-in (he paid for all damages after you punched him), and Wanda Maximoff, your best friend. Wanda had been by your side for years, a constant source of home. There was so much to your overall relationship with her that it couldn’t be replicated with the others or anyone. Even if you were to try.
But no matter how much you spent time with Wanda, she found her footing in rather quick. And while you don’t want to assume things are going well for her, you could at least tell she was happiest when she was in the arms of her obnoxious, academically skilled boyfriend, Vision. Vision who is ahead of the IT program, the captain of the golf team, and somehow Tony’s coworker at Stark’s Industries (who cares about some intellectual freak? Not you).
Anyway, it felt like there was something missing, some deeper connection you couldn’t quite grasp. Sometimes, you’d feel yourself pulling back in conversations, faking a smile here and there when noticing yourself drifting out of sync.
You sigh as you turned away from the window, grabbing your backpack, and slinging it over your shoulder. Another day of classes to get to, papers to turn in, and your typical routine to follow. It all felt so automatic, like living on autopilot.
Perhaps there was something you weren’t doing. Maybe you were actively doing something to avoid fulfilling that aspect of void?
Your phone buzzed on the desk—Wanda.
“Dinner tonight?” She asks once you pick up. “And I swear if you say no, I am going to drive to your class and drag you out myself.”
 You considered telling her no for a moment but it’s Wanda and because of that you say, “Sure. Just don’t barge in like last time. Felt like I got in trouble with my mother…”  Despite your growing sense of detachment, you couldn’t bring herself to decline. You’ve been avoiding her like the plague. She’s your best friend and has asked to hang out for the last month or so only for you to be nowhere. Questions were beginning to rise, and you weren’t ready to answer any of them.
Her laughter echoed through and you kind of forget that you were falling into a hole of emptiness. “Look, I gotta go,  I’ll see you tonight, yeah?”
“Yeah. See you, dekta.”
Dekta. It was always that.
As you made your way across campus, weaving through the throngs of students, you felt a heaviness settle in your chest. Classes, work, clubs, and repeat. How was it that you could be surrounded by people, involved in their lives, and still feel like an outsider looking in?
You loved your friends, or at least you thought you did, but lately, even that felt like a lie you told yourself. You enjoyed your courses. So what if you have to stay up until 2am for shoots and editing, you wouldn’t have done it if you didn’t enjoy it. Actually, you were late to register, and this was kind of a last minute decision.  And you were president for the short film club, but you kind of are guessing why you’re doing this all because you hate people.
The reality is, it’s to avoid facing the deeper truth: that connection, the real kind, the kind that made you feel alive and seen. Not just from relationships, courses, and social life.
Was this what your life was going to be? Always on the fringes, never fully connecting? You wanted more but didn’t know how to get it. Maybe you didn’t even know what “more” really was.
You were good at pretending everything was fine, good at putting on a show of contentment. But deep down, you knew you were waiting for something—or someone—to break through that glass pane that kept you at arm’s length from everyone around.
But until then, you’d keep going, navigating your college life as best as you could, feeling more like an observer than a participant.

You sat across from Wanda at your usual spot in the campus dining hall, picking at her salad as Wanda animatedly recounted the latest drama involving her boyfriend, Vision. You nodded along, making the appropriate sounds of sympathy and surprise, but part of you couldn't help but tune out the problem.
“I swear, sometimes he just doesn’t listen,” Wanda continued, exasperation creeping into her voice. “Last night I..." She sighed, looking down at her food. "I told him I needed space and time to collect my thoughts about where this is going, but he kept calling and texting, so we could talk it out..."
You forced yourself back into the conversation. “Sounds like he’s not respecting your boundaries,” you offered, glancing up at Wanda. You couldn’t help the slight resentment that crept in whenever Vision came up. There was always an unspoken tension in your friendship, one that emerged whenever Wanda talked about her boyfriend.
You didn’t know exactly why you disliked him—maybe it was his arrogant demeanor, or the way he always seemed to treat Wanda as an accessory rather than an equal. She would often vent about the small ways in which he let her down, like forgetting their date plans or brushing off her opinions, but then she would always follow it up with some form of an excuse that he cares. You would just nod along, hiding the skepticism behind a supportive smile.
"Tell me about it,” Wanda huffed, shaking her head. “It's a flaw of his and when the time is right, we'll discuss it and how we can better ourselves. Enough about me though, how about you? Anything exciting that requires you to get out of that hermit crab shell of yours? Maybe with...that TA? Angus, right?"
You snickered but also couldn’t help but notice how Wanda seemed to skirt around anything serious about her relationship with Vision (what a prick). There was a glint of something—maybe uncertainty, maybe resignation—in her eyes when she spoke about him. You wondered if Wanda was just as skilled at pretending everything was fine as you were. It made you feel a little less alone, knowing you weren’t the only one hiding something.
Yet, despite your doubts about the boyfriend, you never voiced your concerns outright. The last thing you wanted was to come across as jealous or possessive. Deep down, you wondered if there was a part of you that simply didn’t want to share Wanda—a feeling you quickly buried before it could grow into something more troubling.
Your face flushed at the mention of Agatha, and you quickly took a sip of water to hide the embarrassment. “Her name is Agnes,” you mumbled, rolling your eyes for effect. So, maybe you kind of lied. Only because you didn't want Wanda to track and stalk the girl. "And she's just intriguing..."
"Intriguing, huh?” Wanda teased. “You should talk to her more. Or, you know, talk to her at all.”
“Very funny,” You shot back. “It’s not that simple.”
But maybe it was. Maybe if you could muster up the courage to actually talk to Agatha, you’d feel less like you were floating aimlessly and more like you were taking control of your own life. You could already hear Wanda’s voice in your head, encouraging you to just go for it, to not overthink it, to take a chance.

i didn't win the wheel: episode 2
much shorter episode this week! probably because it consisted mostly of golf so they decided between this and team torque they would have mercy on us and cut most of it. still lots to work with though. obviously. because it's them.

love a little throwback to episode one, we've got "genuinely trying to go along with the program and introduce the gist of the show" and "so completely zoned out you'd have better luck getting the attention of a cat chasing a laser" except this time it's switched up. i'm pretty sure alex does like a maximum of three introductions out of the whole series, if that, so you just know they said, "Logan, do you want to go first?" and he put on the most nonchalant amiable expression and said "Hmm... I think Alex should go first since I did it the last time" and then alex just glares daggers at him but knows he can't throw a fit about it in front of the crew and logan's smiling ear-to-ear like "what you gonna do about it?" oh, and also, last week they were even leaning back on the same couch and literally giving "two bros chillin in a hot tub five inches apart cause they're not sure if the other is gay" BUT here we are standing up no couch no excuse and logan's just "you're my new center of gravity now". okay. okay sure.

Logan: "You're a lot better at golf than me, so I expect you to do well."
WHOA alright. first of all from everything we got so far (not a lot) the main dynamic seems to be: logan acting confident and cocky and arrogant just to annoy alex and also gazing at him with the most endearing/loving/shit-eating expressions, and alex being awkward and out of his comfort zone and taking it too seriously but eventually losing his focus because he can't help but smile back at logan. which i LOVE. but alex is already getting frustrated before the challenge begins and logan is like what... comforting him? reassuring him? boosting his confidence? "i expect you to do well" whole body turned completely to face him. like dammmn alright breaking the theme a little but that's honestly so sweet... also should i mention that we are literally less than thirty seconds into the video and they're already facing AWAY from the camera and TOWARDS each other. and in a few seconds they'll literally turn around to talk to each other looking at the game setup like this is not how you do media you guys know this and yet

Logan: "Alright, well... as you saw, little bit of a dominant display there..."
and then he has to abandon that sentence immediately because they both start laughing, like straight up giggling almost breathless like "wait did i really just say that out loud" "did he really just say that out loud" and logan turns RIGHT into alex AGAIN because he's watching every possible reaction plain on alex's face 😂 like alex is both startled and amused and endeared and very incredulous. at one point he straight-up looks at the camera and raises his eyebrows like "oh yeah? WAS it though? can you BELIEVE this guy look at him he doesn't even believe himself" like I CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP. honestly i'm just gonna have to make a gif of it because it's so- it's just so obvious.

oh my god, that's just– this is just adorable. this is gonna be my lockscreen i swear because look at them. alex is still laughing trying not to but that earlier comment just threw him off and logan is leaning into him purposely pushing his arm against alex's (he does it twice) and he's just so happy he 1) made alex laugh 2) made alex FLUSTERED jesus christ get that boy some water and 3) got away with it. this is what i meant about logan being alex's turnaround point. he literally lost at the golf game just like he was worried he would and yet here he's the most happy and comfortable he's been all video

Son and I have been taking early-morning walks so I can get him to move his body, and we've been picking up trash on those walks because otherwise he doesn't want to go and pitches a fit.
Today we got two bags of trash, mostly from cans, a crushed beer bottle, and a ran-over long-handled lighter, in addition to various fireworks bits.
When we find something "interesting", we separate it, wash it, and today I decided why not put our trashures (trash-treasures) in this old pickle jar I hadn't thrown out, yet. It seemed appropriate.

A rather nice linen handkerchief??? Which has been washed and sanitized, of course.
~ USAA used to run a program where you could register for a key chain that has a unique number on it, and if you lose your keys, if someone finds them they can toss them in any outgoing USPS mail box to have them shipped to USAA, then returned to whomever they belong to. This keychain was missing it's keys and the unique number is obliterated.

I don’t think who killed Bonnie matters but what caused it and who Bonnie was is more important.
Something I’ve always thought about in security breach was that Bonnie’s green room changed locations.

Of course they’d move his stuff into a spare room if Bonnie was decommissioned. However, how do we know if this was the case?
Most of the messages in security breach have no specific date on them. We just have to guess where they take place in the timeline based on the contents of the message.
I’m going on the wild idea that Bonnie was being slowly taken out of the spot light. Now you might ask “Bonnie was popular that kids asked about him, why would the company want him gone?”
It’s quite simple. In security breach and ruin, there’s no clear picture of who Bonnie really was. We have no idea what Bonnie was like. Sure, Freddy loves and grieves him but bear in mind, Freddy still considered Roxy, Chica and Monty as his friends despite the fact they were hunting down Gregory. He was still horrified with their fates even though they threatened Gregory because Freddy still saw good in them. The same goes with his relationship with Bonnie.
All the animatronics in the pizzaplex all act out in some form. They each have their problems. I think it’d be more strange if Bonnie wasn’t doing anything bad. Most of the animatronics have attacked staff bots: Roxy decapitates them, Chica attacked them for food, Moon (and probably Sun to a degree) rips endos and staff bots. Monty hasn’t been said to have attacked a staff bot but he has broken fences and Freddy was in safe mode during the game.
Besides don’t you think it’s quite interesting the bowling screens show Bonnie attacking the pins in an almost sadistic way?

That’s why they’d move Bonnie away from the spot light. If he’s becoming a major problem, Fazbear Entertainment does not want him to possibly damage their reputation further therefore they need to put a stop on him. They made first help wanted game to build their reputation back up and to play off past mistakes as “rumours”
The glamrocks contradict the personalities they were programmed with. Roxy is the cool one with a beauty salon but she has major insecurities. Chica is the fitness guru centred around food but has an impulse control issues and binge eats. Monty is a laid back rising rockstar yet has anger issues and stays away from shows.
But Bonnie? We don’t know. The stuff in Bonnie bowl is little to go off in all honestly and the most you could get was that he’s also this sorta laid back guy but is that really all?
It’s also really funny to note alligators, rabbits, wolves and chickens are mostly social animals meanwhile bears are more solitary except for a few.
If Bonnie was becoming a problem for the pizzaplex, fazbear entertainment would slowly relegate Bonnie to just a side show in Bonnie Bowl like how Monty was probably just a side thing in Gator Golf. They don’t want to risk anything with him. They no longer let Chica sing because of the risk of lawsuits after she did instead of trying to fix anything. If Bonnie is popular and held no risk, why wouldn’t they try to bring him back? Yeah Monty could be more profitable but Monty is just a side thing like the Daycare Attendant and DJMM compared to a popular member of the main band.
Fazbear entertainment wanted Bonnie gone. His decommissioning was the perfect opportunity and they took it. They just needed a replacement and Monty was the best option and next in line.
I’m not saying Bonnie was 100% evil or 100% good. But the circumstances and what drives something to attack him is interesting. Was it out of malicious intent? Self defense? Or an accident? Who knows. But the reason can change everything.

Tonight I'm thinking about Toya Aoyagi and his general situation. And, thus, I have some AU ideas that came to mind. There are a lot of real life industries that tend to take kids in at a young age, and a lot of those would fit Toya with simple shifts to the storyline/backstory/character. So here's my brain dump of AUs revolving around Toya and his awful childhood (and the ideas my wandering brain comes up with).
Dancer AU
A lot of people who dance in shows and classes start young. I took a couple dance classes here and there when I was younger, but a lot of the other kids were in multiple classes for different kinds of dance. I specifically remember a bunch of the kids hanging out in the lobby because they had like half an hour between two different classes and it didn't make sense to leave and come back.
So something like the above where Toya does multiple kinds of dance. Then, he would want to transition into a different performative art. Theatre comes to mind, since it tends to use a fair bit of dancing, but include a lot else. This would keep the parallel between this au (dance into theatre) and the main story (classical into street music).
Also, there's that thing about learning ballet from a young age that literally chances the way some of your bones develop or something, so it needs a bit more research, but Toya ex-ballet dancer would totally be done.
Sports...?
Mostly writing this here since athletics is another thing parents tend to force their kids into early. I was also on teams for different rec sports for a while, so let me tell you how tired those girls who did both rec and travel softball looked. One of the rec teams struggled since they didn't have pitchers who weren't on the travel team and usually they used the amount of pitching they could do towards travel.
Now, despite this, I must acknowledge how unathletic Toya is portrayed in various Proseka events and convos. (Specifically thinking of... the name was something like "Climax at Kamiyama Sports Festival." Can't remember exactly.)
So, maybe Toya's forced to tryout for different sports, but straight up doesn't make it on the teams or ends up as a bench warmer.
Hold up, Akitoya where Akito is forced to man the convenience stand at a game for community service hours or smth and Toya has to get snacks and food for the team since he's never on the field. No clue where it would go, but that's how they would meet.
But yeah, it could also be something a little less athletic like... curling, or golf. Ooo, fencing is still pretty athletic, but it's a way different skill set from ball sports, and I could imagine Toya as a fencer.
Foreign Exchange Student
Alright, this is another random Akitoya au that just popped into my head, but I'm probably never going to do anything with it so I just leave it here.
Toya, pushed to be a top student by his father, ends up joining his school's exchange program. He isn't sure about it, but his father says it'll be a good experience for his qualifications for college and jobs and such, plus it'll "keep him in line" or whatever.
Akito, on the other hand, decides enough if enough and he'll learn whatever language if it means he gets a break from his usual household. He signs up for his school's exchange program just to get at least a couple months of peace.
Then, the two of them end up transferring to the same school in the same country, probably as the only students from Japan or smth like that. Being the same in that way, they'd inevitably meet and get to know each other.
Maybe a bit OOC, but I don't care. It's a cute little neat idea.
Persona 5 AU?
Probably any of the Persona games could work, I've just only seen gameplay of 5 (royal).
Just in general, Toya could work pretty well as a Phantom Thief, but a good bunch of Proseka characters could take roles of the Persona characters.
Toya (as Yuusuke/Joker), Akito (as Ryuji? or maybe Joker?), An (as much as I want to put her in Ann's role, I'm kinda considering Makoto?), Kohane (Haru/Kazumi??).
Non VBS role ideas: Mizuki (as Futaba), Nene (as Mishima), Ena (as Ann), Rui (as Akechi...?) Mafuyu (as Shiho?).
All of the VBS virtual singers give off enough Morgana vibes to work, except Meiko and maybe Luka?
Test Subject AU
Boy, this is straying from my original concept of "similar situation to Toya's childhood." But also... kinda not?
So here, Toya has been used for data/research by his father's workplace. It's all he's ever known. But one day, he meets Akito, An, and Kohane, who have been brought in from normal lives.
Extra Plot Bunny: Tsukasa and Saki also grew up as test subjects too. Their parents are still close with Toya's, but now they're also coworkers.
This means changing the jobs of some of the parents, but it could still work out easily enough.
This kinda went off the rails at some point, but oh well. I got these ideas down in one place, and maybe someone out there will be inspired by these ideas too.
For now, those are my Toya AU thoughts!

but there is a lot of evidence that monty did it
The last time Bonnie was seen was at Monty Golf.
In the Fazbear story that we see about Bonnie and Monty in Ruin, it is seen that in the tornado that Monty generates, there is secretly a Bonnie flying out of there.
Monty's claws fit perfectly with Bonnie's wound
Below Glamrock Bonnie body is Monty Golf's carpet
There is green paint on Bonnie's chest.
When you kill Monty, a light goes one Glamrock Bonnie's face behind Monty.
in hw 2 we literally see monty's head crush glamrock bonnie
There is a lot of evidence that proves this, the only thing that proves tales from pizzaplex is that Monty was already aggressive before mimic1 affected the glamrocks' programming, not that he was innocent
You can believe it or not, but saying that there is no evidence is already being a denier of something that seems very evident.
In hw2, Monty wasn't present for. Everyone in the fandom made jokes about it even. There is bowling but again, nothing to gleam from that.
Sorry, I guess following the books and what Scott tells thru his FNaF is wrong then. Though there is clear difference between headcanon and canon. I already gave you links, hand hold even.
Monty never raised his claws at anything, not even his own room until after the mimic01 program.
Bonnie was long dead before any of that, meaning Monty didn't do anything.
None of the glamrocks are strong enough to cause the damage done to Bonnie, the way the Mimic has. As that got ignored when pointed out, Mimic can in fact act out and become a deadly force without anything holding it back.
Bonnie is seen lying dead, behind his bowling area. Playing ruin shows this, with bowling balls spread about even.
Only "evidence" on Monty, was never meant to be evidence. The camera feed, that message we take from those bags. Reading about Bonnie alive and well, last seen in Gator Golf? That's what Fazbear Ent sees. Cameras being messed with is what we see in ruin. With Cassie seeing Gregory being hunted by Vanny, but we don't see her. Her illusionary disc messes with the feed.
And you did not play the games, you keep expressing as such. Monty never got claws when Bonnie was around. This was in the games. On the walls, showing blueprints. I shared a link with this even. Keep ignoring that and I'll match your energy.
In ruins, again, links posted before and several others pointed this out. That alludes to the Prototype being the possible suspect. No head on cutouts? No head on Proto Freddy either. Play the game, take your time with it.
Mimic has a habit of removing limbs. So if you played the games and read the books, as you stated otherwise by typing up that reply, tell me what happened to Bonnie.
To help out further, Bonnie got torn apart by limbs.

my hobbies are music, dance, anything nature related, collecting things (i collect snow globes and stickers, science-y shit, history shit, reading, and travel. i’m currently taking a year and a half off of school between my undergrad and masters to travel and enjoy this time in my life. when i go back i’ll enter a masters program for athletic training where i will hopefully work for a pro-team someday. i’ve thought about teaching at a dance studio recently because i used to dance and i love it (and miss it dearly).
about my zodiac… i’m a taurus sun, scorpio moon, aquarius rising, aries mercury, gemini venus and scorpio mars… i’m an astrology bitch lol. i definitely think i fit my chart. i am very loyal, reliable and honest. i am not one to sugar coat things and would rather face issues head on. i am also extremely protective of the people i love and would go to bat for them any day. and of course being mostly fixed i am very stubborn, but i can be pretty spontaneous too! my love language is quality time and physical touch. i also have a tendency to make things for those i love.

I don’t usually touch too much on physical appearance because these men are so much deeper than that, but I do usually talk about tattoos. He’d definitely talk you up and brag to others 😏 Going for athletic training would peak his interest when you first meet. He’d question about that with genuine curiosity, which makes you feel special and appreciated. Season 4 Episode 16- Clare Kaufman Quebedeaux- “Be purposeful with not just what you’re teaching but also what you’re learning”
I am fired up to welcome Clare Kaufman Quebedeaux to The Podcast to talk about leadership and developing basketball players. Clare has had a really cool voyage that has brought her to Columbus to work alongside her first boss and mentor. Throughout the 30 plus minute discussion Clare and I get into:
1)    Being intentional in developing your staff in leadership
2)    A wake-up call that brought her to understand her role as a leader developing coaches
3)    Some unique aspects to their staffing system to help coaches grow professionally within the department.

Who is Clare Quebedeaux?
Clare Quebedeaux joined the Buckeye strength and conditioning program in 2017. Her core responsibilities include serving as the Facility Supervisor for multiple facilities as well as overseeing the Women’s Basketball and Men’s Golf programs.
Prior to Ohio State, Quebedeaux was the director of strength and conditioning at Southeastern Louisiana University, working with the football, basketball, women’s soccer, women’s tennis and men’s golf programs. She was also an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Temple University and the University of Hartford. She served as a graduate assistant for strength and conditioning while attending University of Tennessee.
Quebedeaux earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2010. She went on to receive her master’s in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee in 2013.

Thomas about his vacation and home training
Vacation - going according to plan 🙌.

I've been on vacation for four weeks now. Just like summer vacation when I was going to school, vacation goes by very fast. My favorite thing is spending time with my family and friends. I also spend a lot of time playing golf, tennis and, of course, with my wife Lisa and our horses.
But, as you can imagine, the competitive athlete in me never quite sleeps. Training at home is back in full swing.
Specifically, I have to complete a running program to develop basic endurance. We run with a heart rate monitor and have different units in the program. Sometimes longer with a moderate heart rate, sometimes shorter and with intervals in the upper heart rate range.
As a result, I am already familiar with regional forest trails. 😉
I've never really enjoyed running training, but it's part of the job. And my fitness has helped me a lot throughout my career.
