Betrothals. Marriages arranged for the maximum benefit to the kingdom, for allying forces. Not because of love. The trepidation, the uncertainty that maybe gives way to butterflies when it’s the wedding night, and your new spouse, this near stranger, is so gentle, so tender. Or perhaps doesn’t expect a thing at all. Lays with you, and that’s it.

Knights who are unwavering in their steadfast devotion, but not only out of sworn duty to the royal family. Whose hands are swift and sure in combat, firm on the hilt of a sword or the reins of their steed, but gentle, even hesitant when they brush against the skin of their beloved king, queen, princess, prince.

Royal tutors who both treasure their time alone with their pupil and feel it’s the cruelest reminder of what can never be, a forbidden affection that they can’t dampen no matter how they try. Perhaps they teach music or archery or swordsmanship, and when their hands reposition their pupil’s, showing them how their fingers should curl over the strings of a violin, how to hold a weapon… it’s so sweet, so thrilling, but also agony. Maybe they teach literature or the arts, hoping the prince or princess knows what it means when they assign a particular love poem, mentioning that it’s a favorite.

Time traveler Ivan but he stages an escape with Sua, Mizi and Till because he does not want them to die.

Sua and Till kinda hates him for how he handled it because it made Mizi cry when he forcibly opened her eyes to reality.

Except during the escape something went wrong and Ivan sacrifices himself to buy them time.

(He got injured so badly that he gets amnesia. Unsha curses Anakt Garden because Ivan never acted so rebellious in his care. They blame Ivan's rebellious act to Till because of course they would blame Till and not perfect pet Ivan. Also because Ivan forgot about everyone again, he's docile and obedient. Unsha implants a tracker in his skin and withdraws Ivan from performing on stage because his wife was distraught about almost losing her cute little Ivan. He gets scheduled playdates with Luka instead )

well i just watched a playthrough of mouthwashing, so to repair the Emotional Damage the story has given me mercilessly, i came up with some au ideas

a au where the events of the game were a bad dream that curly had after sleeping on the job (or so he thinks until he discovers that he somehow went back in time before the crash to fix things)

a au where jimmy was the one who got hurt in the crash instead of curly and go through a redemption through karmic retribution arc

a au where the game was just that - a game/simulation that the crew were participants of

i'm pretty sure these ideas already exist but i just wanted to throw my hat in the ring

OKAY FINE. FINE. I’LL DO IT. Maybe this will finally convince people to make more Beauty and the Beast AUs because I am LOSING my mind over the fact that no one is doing it right now. So here’s me, shouting into the void, flailing my hands, chucking prompts like cursed confetti, and TRYING TO FORCE YOU ALL TO CARE. Look. Belle wears a gold/yellow gown. Adam (YES, the Beast has a NAME) wears a blue suit. IT’S FATE. It’s LITERALLY FATE. I am SHOCKED—no, offended—that there isn’t already an AU of this. Black Sapphire is obviously Lumière, Candy Apple is Cogsworth. Picture Black Sapphire singing Be Our Guest with ✨flair✨.

Pure Vanilla? Already a Disney princess. Shadow Milk? Already a beast with Issues™. It’s PERFECT. Dark Enchantress? Gaston. OBVIOUSLY. Maurice? It’s either Black Raisin (NO I’M NOT LETTING YOU FORGET ABOUT HER) or White Lily.

Now. Two scenes that NEED to be recreated or I will set something on fire:

That STAIRCASE SCENE. You know the one. Adam’s just standing there like a stunned golden retriever, blinking 400 times a second because BELLE IS PRETTY and Belle looks up at him like “Okay wait you’re kinda hot tho?”

The MIRROR SCENE. Belle: “I want to see my father.” Adam: gives her the mirror. She sees him sick and was like "Papa! Oh, no, he's sick, he may be dying! And he's all alone!". Adam, looking at the rose (or, idk, whatever emo thing you wanna use), is devastated but still LETS HER GO. AND SHE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HURTS HIM. ANGST! TRAGEDY! SACRIFICE! I AM UNWELL!!!!

WHY IS NO ONE DRAWING THIS??

BurningCheese #2:

Burning Spice is ALREADY the Beast. Anger issues? Check. Self-loathing? Check. Loud, hairy, suicidal? CHECK. Just slap the costume on him and it’s canon. The problem is Golden Cheese, because her personality is NOT Belle. Not even close. But whatever, that’s what AUs are for. Tweak it. Let her be soft! I don’t care! Just put her in the DRESS!!

Gaston? I got nothing without screwing up character integrity. But Maurice? Smoked Cheese. HE’S LITERALLY MET BURNING SPICE. CONNECTION = ESTABLISHED.

Now. Scenes I need recreated like I need air:

“Have dinner with me!” “No.” Adam gets MAD. Mrs. Potts is like “Try again sweetie.” So he goes, “Please?” Belle: “Still no.” Adam: “FINE. THEN GO AHEAD AND STARVE.”

The bird scene. The soft scene. Belle helps Beast feed birds. He’s clumsy and huge and terrifying and they all fly away But then she gently guides him and a bird eats from his palm.

Mysticcacao #3:

Okay. This one’s harder. Gotta use my delusions. BUT LISTEN. Dark Cacao in Belle’s peasant dress. Hair in a ponytail. YES. I’M SERIOUS. STAY WITH ME— Wha— DON'T LEAVE AND LISTEN!!

This ship fits the message more than the exact roles. “Inner beauty matters more than outer beauty.” YES. YESSS. Mystic Flour as Adam, but colder, more distant. Dark Cacao as Belle, but stoic and deadpan (which Belle kinda is already serious so BONUS POINTS).

Gaston? AFFOGATO. Because betrayal. Obviously. Maurice? Caramel Arrow because she was very loyal to Dark Cacao in the original.

AND I NEED THREE SCENES. YEAH THREE. DEAL WITH IT:

The “Something There” sequence.

The WOLF SCENE. Belle (Cacao) is in danger. Beast (Mystic) jumps in and gets wrecked.

The LIBRARY SCENE. Beast gives Belle an ENTIRE LIBRARY. AN ENTIRE LITERARY.

I’M NOT OKAY. I’M UNSTABLE. I’M DESPERATE. DO IT.

Anyway. If I don’t see at least one fanart of this… I’ll explode into a thousand glittery rage particles. Don’t test me.

a bad thought

Vaggie's wings are and were distinctive for an Exorcist, yeah? She was the only one with that single wing stripe, and she still has it now

if Carmilla could put the pieces together even without that then someone like Velvette shouldn't have any problem figuring out the Vaggie = Exorcist thing post hotel battle

how hard would it be for Vox to get a screenshot from the battle where Vaggie's new wings were out, showing of that one stripe? How hard for Velvette and him to comb though the videos and social media posts of past Exterminations and search out any glimpse of an Exorcist with that specific wing pattern? How much would Val push for that or ANYTHING that could mess with the hotel that's taking over Angel Dust's time and making him act up?

Vox could probably run a "Hotel Manager's Past Exorcist Kills Highlights!" tv special, couldn't he

he could air who knows how many of Vaggie's murders on live tv for all of hell to see. for her to see.

Velvette wouldn't have any trouble pulling together posts from Vaggie's victims and putting names on them. Friends and family would find out exactly who the killer was, and where she is, and they'd now also know, thanks to the hotel battle, that one purchase from Carmine will let them take a crack at some revenge against her

But mainly I'm thinking of the moment the hotel crew realizes what's happening

they were having shitty tv group watch night maybe, all still jittery from almost dying and spending time together instead of being alone in their rooms. there's laughter over the terrible shows on in hell and then it cuts out- just like in the first ep- and suddenly they're watching Exorcist Vaggie impaling people

Charlie's the first one to look away and check on Vaggie. When Vaggie won't answer her she yells for someone to change the channel, and when that doesn't work, to turn the tv OFF. There's a scramble. Lots of trying not to stare at the tv. No one can find the remote.

Charlie's in front of Vaggie hugging her trying to get between her and the montage of people screaming and dying but Vaggie won't budge and just keeps watching-

Husk throws a bottle at the tv at the same moment Angel Dust launches a high heeled boot at it. It shatters and sparks and in the silence afterwards Cherry Bomb notes that all of hell's social media is showing the same stuff. It's everywhere

Suddenly the only broadcast in hell that's not showcasing as many of Vaggie's sins as possible is Alastor's creepy radio show.

I know time loop stories are often about characters going on an emotional journey and/or learning a lesson but if I was stuck in a time loop I would very quickly stop caring about consequences

Who cares if I spend all my money if the purchase wouldn't have even happened the next day? Who cares if I finally flip someone at work off? If I got angry and wanted to throw my phone at the wall, I could without needing to buy a new one.

Coming out of a time loop must be incredibly difficult. You'd have to relearn small petty consequences the way an astronaut relearns gravity after returning to earth. You have to relearn how to live like the next day actually matters.

Jack grabbing Lucas's arm to yank and cut across the table, the prop just pops off before he gets to cutting. Jack "Well. Guess I've cut it off too many times now..." before a long pause that sends everyone into a laughing fit (the improv did not work)

Sewer Gators, loud crash in the background because Andre fell off the ladder. It scares the shit out of Pete and Clancy

Marguerite flinging the lantern across the room and being horrified, before going up to Ethan and asking "are you alright? Did it hit you?" As Ethan is chuckling and reassuring her he's fine

Zoe "did my Danny give you a- oh goddamn it" (laughing offscreen) Ethan "i thought your dad's name was Jack, is there another fucking guy here?" (More laughing). The camera pans over to off set, where Zoe is sitting with the phone rig, laughing her ass off, head on the table

Lucas "I really need a girlfriend Ethan, can you help me find a boyfriend?" Ethan, pausing before looking up "wow, you're bisexual, I didn't know that!" Lucas "oh right fuck wait, the hell did I say?" Ethan "said both girlfriend and boyfriend" Lucas "Ah fuck, well. By the way I'm bisexual-" Ethan, losing it laughing now, as Lucas sputters over the speaker
